(Sofia, Fox, and Silver are talking when the see me in my office with a forlorn look)
Silver: What's wrong?
Me: I'm just thinking about what happened, that's all.
Sofia: What is it you were thinking about? What happened?
Me: How do I put this? Do any of you watch Power Rangers?
Sofia: Well, I don't, but I think Fox and Silver started watching it.
Fox: Yeah, we're already halfway through Dino Thunder. Why?
Me: Well, I was poking around on the internet when I found a news article and it said that one of the show's best actors, Jason David Frank, is…
Silver: Hold on, I remember Gloyd and Falco telling me about him. You don't mean he's…?
Me: I'm afraid so. The Green Ranger… has died.
Sofia: No…
(Fox punches the wall, upset at this revelation)
Fox: Why? How on Earth could this happen?
Silver: It's bad enough we lost Trini and Shane, now this?! I'll never be able to live it down!
Me: Calm down, Silver. I'm just as heartbroken about it as you. Besides, this gives me an idea for a new story. Speaking of, I should get to work.
(Note: This is a crossover featuring all seasons of Power Rangers, as well as a few of the fandoms that are featured in my Heroes Unite story. I do not own anything other than my Kingdom Hearts OC, Mason)
Tommy's Sacrifice
The Command Center is being attacked by army of the Rangers' most powerful villains led by Lord Zedd, whose evil was reincarnated by a monstrous sorcerer named Reaghoul. The Power Rangers fought hard, but Zedd is too powerful. He downed the Rangers within minutes. The Emperor of Evil laughs triumphantly.
"Such power…" Jack Landors, the SPD Red Ranger groaned.
"I don't see how we can beat him." Gia Moran, the Megaforce Yellow Ranger said.
"Don't bother getting up. Even a hundred of you are no match for us." Madame Odius spoke.
"But don't worry, you all have a front row seat for the show of your lives: you get to watch me destroy the Morphin Grid!" Lord Zedd laughs before leaving with the other villains.
"Not if I… can help it!" Tommy Oliver, the Legendary Ranger yelled. He pulls out his Master Morpher. "Dragonzord, Green Ranger Power!" He morphs into the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger and follows the villains outside.
"Doctor O, wait!" Ethan James, the Dino Thunder Blue Ranger tried to stop him, but his words were ignored.
"We gotta go after him. At this rate, he won't be able to survive another powerful attack." Anubis "Doggie" Cruger, the SPD Shadow Ranger said.
"No need to tell us twice, Commander. Let's go!" Jason Lee Scott, the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger agreed. All of the Rangers got up and followed Tommy.
Meanwhile, inside a pocket dimension, many heroes are watching the battle between the Rangers and Lord Zedd when Tommy follows Zedd outside.
"What is he doing?!" Falco Lombardi asked.
"In the state he's in, one more powerful hit and he's finished!" Iron Man stated.
"Then, what are we standing around here for? We better help him!" Wolverine suggested.
"You took the words right out of my mouth, Logan." Captain America agreed.
"But how will we get there?" Ever Realm Protector Princess Sofia asked.
"I believe I have the solution, Princess." Doctor Strange said as he used his arcane magic to open a portal to the Power Rangers universe.
The Rangers continue fighting Lord Zedd and his robotic army. The Dimensional Alliance arrives to assist them.
"Who are you?" Ollie Akana, the Dino Fury Blue Ranger asked.
"Introductions can wait. For now, know that we're on your side." Hawkeye told him.
"Ah, more heroes for us to destroy." Void King said. "We're a little busy right now. Luckily, I have something to keep you entertained. Hengemen!" Void King calls a wave of Hengemen to keep the Dimension Alliance busy while Tommy and Zedd fought.
Tommy struck first with a back kick, but Zedd blocked it. The other Rangers had started fighting their own adversaries. The Dimensional Alliance were able to defeat the Hengemen and assisted the Rangers.
Viperion and Shadow assisted Sky, Bridge, and Syd in fighting Emperor Gruumm and Broodwing. Knuckles saved Ziggy from Goldar with a punch to the back. Doctor Strange and Sofia use their magic to stop Sculpin and Black Lance from attacking the Mystic Force Rangers before Daggeron and Itassis, who is training under the former's wing, took them both down. The Morphin Masters appear, with Rita Repulsa's spirit beside them.
"Rangers! Go and help Tommy!" Rita's spirit told them. They nod.
"Was that Rita Repulsa just now?" Andros, the Red Space Ranger asked.
"Yes, but she is on our side now, Andros." Master Red informed him.
Jayden and Tyler start battling the Vivix that appeared. Sledge tried to get them with a surprise blaster shot, but Ladybug disarms him with her yo-yo. The Vivix then combine together to form ten Vivizords.
"Leave these guys to us!" Zayto said. "Send in the Zords!"
The Zords arrive and combine into their respective Megazords and Ultrazords on autopilot.
"You'll need some help. I need Dragonzord power, now!" Tommy said before playing his Dragon Dagger. The tune summoned the Dragonzord from the ocean.
"Summon all the Zords you like, they still won't stop me!" Zedd barked.
Captain America and Carapace use their shields to block an attack from Void King and Fury. Pegasus and Mia battle Oculus, while Casey, RJ, Jerrod, and Queen Bee battle Dai Shi and Doomwing.
"Your evil ends here, Lord Zedd!" Tommy yelled.
Wolverine slices two Krybots apart and blocks Snide's attack before Iron Man hits him with his repulsor beams.
"There're too many of them! They just keep coming!" Tails said. They're suddenly saved by the spirits of Trini Kwan, Shane Clarke, Udonna, Master Phant, and Zenowing.
"Then, allow us to deal with them!" Master Phant said.
Tommy was suddenly caught off-guard by a sniper shot from Sledge, but he's still able to fight. "Zeo Ranger V, Red!" He morphs into the Red Zeo Ranger and continues fighting the Emperor of Evil.
"Rita, I hope you have something that can get rid of these clowns!" Izzy Garcia said.
"I've got just the thing. Magic wand, make my Rangers grow!" Rita used her staff's powers to grow the Rangers into Zord-size.
"Not this time, Mystic Mother!" Lord Zedd used his own staff to block the spell. The resulting explosion knocked everyone but Tommy and Zedd out. The battle is now between the two of them.
"Take this!" Tommy attacks Lord Zedd. Their attacks continue connecting. The fight goes on as the two lose a lot of energy.
"It's all over for you, Tommy!" Lord Zedd roared.
"I still have one last trick up my sleeve." Tommy said, holding his Master Morpher. "Dino Thunder, power up!" He morphs into the Dino Thunder Black Ranger and strikes Lord Zedd once more.
"This is where you die!" Lord Zedd uses one last attack. Tommy uses the last ounce of his strength to deal the finishing blow to Lord Zedd. He screams in agonizing pain before the Emperor of Evil is destroyed for good. The sight of his destruction caused the villains to retreat.
"We… we did it." Javi Garcia said, pleased that Tommy defeated the Emperor of Evil. Suddenly, Tommy collapses as he de-morphs.
"Tommy!" Kimberly cried.
"Doctor O!" Trent Mercer called out. The Rangers and Dimensional Alliance approached the downed Ranger. Kimberly gingerly picked up Tommy.
"We… we did it, didn't we?" Tommy asked weakly.
"Tommy Oliver, you have done this planet a great justice. Lord Zedd's reign of terror is finished forever." Master Blue thanked the Legendary Ranger.
"Yeah, but… that last attack… it left me without any power left." Tommy wheezed.
"He is correct. That final attack that finished off Lord Zedd used what remained of his power." Master Red agreed. "In his current condition, he won't be of the mortal world for much longer."
"Does this mean… he'll…" Amelia trailed off, uneasy of what is evident will happen.
"He'll… die?" Kimberly finished the Dino Fury Pink Ranger's thought. "No. No, I can't accept this! I refuse to accept this!"
"It's… It's alright… Kim." Tommy assured Kimberly. He gripped her hand. "Listen, I may be gone… but you will keep the Ranger legacy going. I'm… sure of it."
"Tommy…" Aiyon breathed.
"Tommy…" Kimberly whispered before glancing into his emerald eyes. "We promise to keep the Ranger legacy alive. For all of us. For you."
"Thanks, Kim, everyone. And remember… like Zordon always said…" Tommy said with a smile on his face as his eyes started closing for the final time. "May the Power… protect you…" And with those words, the life of the Green Ranger… is gone. Everyone present is saddened to see that the greatest Power Ranger of all time has died.
"Tommy…" Sofia whispered, trying to hold back her tears of sorrow.
"He gave up his life to save us all." Hawkeye said.
"I apologize for your loss, Rangers." Master Green said.
"There's no need to apologize to us, Master Green." Zayto said. "We know that Tommy was a great hero, and an even greater friend."
"Perhaps we should hold a funeral for him. It's what he would've wanted." Zenowing's spirit suggested.
"You took the words right out of my mouth, Zenowing." Tyler agreed to it.
All of our heroes gathered everything for Tommy's funeral, along with some of Tommy's belongings. Two days later, they gathered together for Tommy Oliver's funeral.
"Tommy. Our planet would be destroyed if it weren't for your courage and resilience." TJ Johnson said as he placed the Red Turbo Ranger helmet on a special pedestal behind the grave.
"You showed us that a Ranger can overcome any obstacle, no matter how bad the odds were." Aisha Campbell said before placing the White Ranger helmet on the pedestal.
"Anyone else would've given up when things became bleak, but you never did." Adam Park said before he placed the Red Zeo Ranger on the pedestal.
"Doctor O, you have taught us lessons no school could ever teach us." Conner McKnight said before he placed the Black Dino Ranger on the pedestal.
"Tommy, from the minute we met, I felt like we were meant to be together. At first, I didn't think I'd live without you, but you said it yourself: it's up to us to keep the legacy of the Power Rangers alive. And I intend to make good on that promise." Kat Hillard glanced at the Green Ranger helmet in her hands. Tears began to flow down her face. Kimberly placed an assuring hand on her shoulder. Kat nods in confirmation. She kisses the helmet before placing it on the pedestal.
"Goodbye, Tommy." Kat whispered. "I love you."
"This truly is a dark day for us." Shadow said.
"For someone as moody as you, I couldn't agree more." Knuckles agreed.
"He truly was a hero." Doctor Strange said. Mason eyed the Dragon Dagger in his hand. He approached the casket and placed the dagger in Tommy's hands.
"Yeah. A true hero, all the way to the end." Mason agreed.
Meanwhile, past the Pearly Gates of Heaven…
"Huh?" Tommy said upon waking up atop a sea of clouds. "Where am I?" He hears a familiar voice.
"Greetings, Tommy." He turned around and found Zordon, along with Trini, David, Ernie, Shane, Udonna, Master Phant, and Zenowing.
"Zordon?" Tommy remembered his mentor from years past. "How did I end up here?"
"When your life is lost, for one reason or another, your spirit is guided to this celestial land." Zordon explained to him.
"I'm not following." Tommy said in confusion.
"What he means, Tommy, is this is where you go when you die." Trini simplified.
"So then… I'm… dead?!" Tommy asked in shock.
"Yes, but your death was not in vain." Shane said.
"You valiantly gave up your life to eliminate the Emperor of Evil." Udonna told her.
"I did?" Tommy asked.
"It's true. The Morphin Masters told us of your heroic deed." Zenowing answered.
"I must say, it was truly a miracle that you were able to defeat Lord Zedd after being battered and bruised." Master Phant said.
"Thanks, but how will the others keep Earth safe without me?" Tommy asked.
"You just told them in your final moments, Tommy." Zordon said. "Look into the viewing globe behind you." He showed Tommy what the Legendary Ranger told them in his last moments.
"You're right, Zordon. As long as they're fighting down there, the Ranger Legacy will indeed live on." Tommy said proud.
"Great. Then, while we're up here, who wants a fresh smoothie?" Ernie asked. This made the departed Rangers enlightened as they brainstormed flavor ideas. Their voices faded as they walked further away.

1973 – 2022
(I wake up with a yawn after having very little sleep. I get up and notice the Guppies painting a mural of the Green Ranger)
Me: I'm guessing you heard the news too, didn't you?
Zooli: Yeah. Goby and I overheard your conversation and it really hurt us inside, especially Gil. The Green Ranger was his favorite.
Molly: It hurt a lot of us, Zooli. Luckily, while Cream and Cheese were drawing some flowers, Gil had the idea to paint this mural in the Green Ranger's honor.
Me: Well, by the look of it, I'd say I woke up just in time. That looks amazing. Tommy would be proud.
Oona: Of course he would.
