A Thunderous Lightning Storm 2 Chapter 011. Johto Broadcast

(The Next Day on a television pre-roll of a Johto News Channel about the Big Race taking Place that night one of the announcers says beginning the News Segment).

Announcer: Ecruteak City. Land of the rising sun. Where ancient tradition meets modern technology. Welcome to the inaugural running of the World Grand Prix. (From their Position in the News Booth, are the three Announcers for the Race. Then the First Announcer says introducing himself), I am Amoonguss, here with racing legends Lunatone and Solrock. There has never been a competition like this before.

(Meanwhile in the Racers Pits, the Racers are having their Berrinol Drinks to get ready for the Upcoming Race).

Amoonguss: First, Berrinol, making its debut tonight as the required fuel for all these great champions.

(Then back in the News Booth Amoonguss Says).

Amoonguss: Second, the course itself, and it is like nothing we have ever seen. Lunatone, how exactly does this competition work?

Lunatone: Well, Amoonguss, all three of these street courses are classic round-the-house racetracks. (Outlines Of Three Racecourses Are on View. They Have Their Respective Locations of Johto, Alola, And Galar, And Are Different in Shape And size). This means that the Speed Boost Ability and Agility Pokémon should break out of the gate in spectacular fashion. (Then the Racers begin weaving up the track, practicing). Look for Silvally in Specific to lead early. (Silvally is all-ready at his position in the grid). And with a series of technical turns throughout (We see the Map of the course again, but now highlighting the tech turns). Beaver Pokémon like Sinnoh's Bibarel should make up a bit of ground, but I doubt it will be enough to stop Silvally from absolutely running away with it.

Solrock: Woah, now just hold your horsepower attack. You are forgetting the most crucial factor here. That early dirt track section of the course!

The dirt is supposed to be the great equalizer in this race. (Graphics Of the Courses Now Isolate a Stretch After the First Couple Turns, Label It "Dirt Sections").

Amoonguss: Hoenn Rally Pokémon Lairon is counting on a big boost headed through there.

Solrock: And Do Not forget Jolteon! His mentor, the Mamoswine, was one of the greatest dirt track racers of all time. In my mind, Jolteon is the best all-around racer in this competition.

(Now back in the Studio).

Lunatone: Really, Lunatone, I bet you need to wash your face. You clearly do not see this for what it is: Silvally's race to lose.

(At the Starting Line, that Same Day).

Amoonguss: It is time to find out. The racers are locking into the grid.

(Everyone Jogs in place a little as everyone gets ready to go. Everyone is bright eyed and alert except for Jolteon who is in the back of the grid. Jolteon Closes his eyes).

Jolteon: Speed, I am speed. (Then Jolteon hears a Mocking Laugh making Jolteon open his eyes. And See Silvally is next to him on the grid).

Silvally: Really? You are "speed"? Then Silvally is triple speed. (Silvally Closes his eyes and says). Silvally. Is. Triple speed. Silvally likes this, Jolteon. It is really getting him into the zone!

Jolteon: He is getting so beat today. (The starting lights click down from Red to Yellow to Green. And Just like that the race begins with Silvally quickly grabbing the lead. And Silvally is pulling away within seconds. On the Row of Pits there are various Crew Chiefs on their crash carts barking orders to their racers. At the very end of the Row of Pits is Team Jolteon. The Team does not have a Crew Chief but is just a solid looking team).

Decidueye: His Speed Stat look good.

Nuzleaf: Quill sharpness is excellent.

Rillaboom: He has a ton of Energy.

Lycanroc: And He is formidable! (Jolteon's Team continue to cheer for Jolteon, excited to see him compete. But Little did the Group know, trouble was not far behind them and was catching up to them, not only on the Racetrack but also from the Shadows).
