A Thunderous Lightning Storm 2 Chapter 014. Victory Lane

(Later after Race, at the Post-race press conference. Silvally is center stage. The Press is there as Solrock asks Silvally).
Solrock: Silvally, over here! Hey, what was your strategy today?
Silvally: Strategia? Silvally needs no strategy, it is remarkably simple. You start the race, wait for Jolteon to choke, pass him, then win. Silvally always wins. It is boring. (Jolteon, who is waiting in the wings, rolls his eyes. Jolteon suddenly notices something, it is Lycanroc, appearing from a side street, moving back toward the pits, oblivious of the press conference. Then Solrock says to Silvally).
Solrock: I gotta tell you, man. You were in trouble for a while. That dirt tracks section had you crawling! (Silvally says as Jolteon Sneaks away).
Silvally: To truly crush one's dream, you must first raise their hopes exceedingly high
(Now In Jolteon's Pit Garage - Lycanroc looks around for everyone as Jolteon approaches him).
Jolteon: Lycanroc!
Lycanroc: Hey Jolteon! What happened? Is the race over? You won, right? (Jolteon, still incredibly angry with Lycanroc cuts right to the chase of his Problem with Lycanroc).
Jolteon: Lycanroc, why were you yelling things at me while I was racing? (Lycanroc is confused about this).
Lycanroc: Yelling? Oh, you thought. That is funny right there. (Lycanroc Laughs a bit at this before explaining). No, see that's `cause I seen these two fellers doing a sort of karate street performance. It was nutso. One of them even had a Thunder Fang. (Jolteon is in shock from this and shouts).
Jolteon: A Thunder Fang? What are you talking about? I Do Not understand. Where were you? (Lycanroc answers simply and plainly).
Lycanroc: Going to meet my date. (Jolteon says in more shock and disbelief).
Jolteon: Your date? (Then Lycanroc says to continue his explanation).
Lycanroc: She started talking to me as a voice in my head, telling me where to go (Jolteon is unable to understand what Lycanroc is saying due to the sheer ridiculousness of it all).
Jolteon: What?! (Lycanroc realizes how difficult it sounds to Jolteon and asks worriedly).
Lycanroc: Wait a minute I did not screw you up, did I? (Then Jolteon finally lets his concealed anger out at Lycanroc shouting at him).
Jolteon: I LOST The Race BECAUSE Of YOU! (Lycanroc feels terrible and regretful at this before apologizing).
Lycanroc: Oh, I am sorry. I did not mean to. (Jolteon ignores his apology saying).
Jolteon: An imaginary girlfriend?! Thunder Fangs?! You know, this is exactly why I Do Not bring you along to these things! (Lycanroc says hoping to convey his regret for his Mistakes to Jolteon).
Lycanroc: Maybe if I, I Do Not know, talked to somebody, and explained what happened I could help. (This only Makes Jolteon angrier as he yells at Lycanroc Shouting).
Jolteon: I Do Not need your help! I Do Not want your help! (With that Jolteon runs out of the Team's Pit Leaving Lycanroc to sadly reflect on the mistakes he made tonight. Then Lycanroc hears the Press outside and looks on the Monitor to see the Press confront Jolteon as they say).
Press: Hey, there he is!
(The press finds Jolteon and swarms him. Lycanroc is moving backwards as the questions fly again. While watching the New from the Monitors).
Press #1: Jolteon, you had it in the bag!
Press #2: Yes, what happened?
Jolteon: I made a mistake. But I can assure you, it will not happen again.
(From back in the Team's Pits, Lycanroc takes this badly, feeling as if he is the "Mistake" Jolteon mentioned as he walks away slowly).
Jolteon: Look, guys. We know what the problem is, and we have taken care of it.
(Then the Footage of the Race, specifically Silvally passing Jolteon to win the Race replays as Amoonguss says).
Amoonguss: Jolteon loses in the last lap to Silvally in the first race of the World Grand Prix and three, count em, three Pokémon Collapsed in pain leading a ton of to suggest that their fuel, Berrinol, might be to blame.
(Then the Races Sponsor appears on the News Screen speaking to an aggressive amount press through his Projection Screen Device. He is Shout over the press multiple questions and comments).
Caller: Berrinol is safe! Alternative fuel is safe! There is no way my fuel caused these Pokémon to Collapse in Pain like this!
(Now In the Tv Studio with Lunatone, Amoonguss, and Lunatone talking to the camera).
Lunatone: Well, the jury may still be out on whether Berrinol caused these accidents, but one thing is for sure: Jolteon blew this race.
(Then the Footage of Jolteon angrily crossing the finish line, with a look of severe consternation across his face as Amoonguss says).
Amoonguss: Team Jolteon cannot be happy right now. (And with that the First Race of the World Grand Prix is Over with 3 Questions left unanswered. Such as: Was Berrinol the cause of the Pokémon's Collapse during the Race? What will happen to Team Jolteon? And most importantly, Will Jolteon turn this around and win the Next Race of the World Grand Prix?).
