Hey Guys! A new Chapter Already?! Well... yes and no. I realized, when I was talking with a buddy of mine after I posted the last chapter, that I may have unloaded onto you all quite a bit and I want to avoid doing so much at once again. To that end what you see here is simply the introduction to the next hero whose story I'm going to cover.
It is VERY short and that was intentional since I wanted to treat this characters' story like one of the multi volume lore books you pick up in Skyrim. And I'm quite happy with that method so that's what I will be doing with this character until I finish and go on to do something new for the next one.
So read and Review, I'm serious Review! I have no idea what you guys think of me, and this story might get more updates soon as I constantly break it down into better bite size portions for you all.
Enjoy!
15th of Midyear, 82nd year of the 7th Era
For the Divines, the Natural Order of the cosmos is, and always will be, their first priority. When Lorkan had them give up some of their power and being to create the Mundus he was branded a Heretic and condemned to death. Despite that, the realm he was inspired to create continued on and the mortals who called it home have sought either its ruin or preservation as they eked out a living in this new environment for several thousand years. The duty to oversee the world Lorkhan created was taken up by the Divines who sought to use what little power they had left to reshape the hearts and minds of the mortals with their influence.
Those who saw what became of this world they helped create and wanted nothing to do with, fled through the barrier separating the mortal plane from Aetherius creating the stars and forever became known as the Magna Ge. For those who refused to give their power to Lorkhan's plan due to the depth of their ego preventing them from submitting to the Missing God's plan forever became known as the Daedra. Yet, there were still many places and positions filled, and yet to be filled, by spirits of great influence.
One mortal of many, decided that the responsibility to ensure the continuation of the current Kalpa must be undertaken, regardless of what that meant for him. Some called it hubris in its most inelegant form. Some called it his ego reaching for heights that wasn't meant for one of such low standing. A mortal reaching for Godhood could only breed a monster responsible for his own downfall. Yet, it is in the Konexath, the Realm of Cosmic Order in Aetherius, that the Platinum Tower stands to ensure that the Great Wheel is held when the other Towers should fall. And the throne where Diais sits to keep watch over Lorkhan's creation. A man who chose to hold up the sky when he saw it falling. - Magnun of Transparency. Volume XI
So... yeah. As I said pretty short, and I already have 6 pages of this guys' story done as I do my best to line up the timeline with Tovit's adventure in the last chapter. Not much to say here as the only two names introduced; Konexath and Diais were random names I picked out from that stood out to me more than the others. Other than that, I was simplified version of how I understand the "birth" of the Elder Scrolls universe and how it is maintained.
Read, Review and have a nice life!
