(From a Control Booth with a Grand View of Malie City and the Racecourse, Amoonguss says).
Amoonguss: You are looking live at beautiful Malie City, Alola, on the Alolan Malie Garden. What a magnificent setting for the second race of the World Grand Prix! (Then Solrock Says).
Solrock: Well, Amoonguss, they call this place "The Gem of the Malie Garden", and it is easy to see why. (A local Dewgong Swims through an idyllic waterway, beneath bridges that connect hillside villas). With its Beautiful Garden Parks and opulent casinos, Malie City truly is a playground for the wealthy. (There is A lengthy line of Powerful Looking Water Types in the harbor). And everyone who is anyone is here today. (A Bunch of Rich Sports Pokémon walk past pricey shops).
Lunatone: From the Ultra-Sun rich and Ultra-Moon Popular famous, to world leaders and important dignitaries. You are not kidding, Lunatone. You cannot do a three-point turn around here without bumping into a celebrity!
Amoonguss: Welcome everyone to the second race of the World Grand Prix! (Now Amoonguss, Lunatone, and Solrock appear in the control booth as Amoonguss Says). The big news continues to be Berrinol. Our Race Host spoke to the press earlier today to answer questions about its safety.
(Footage Of the Press Conference has the Racing Sponsor's Projection Device, at a podium Addressing the press as the house talks through the devices Microphone. The Host is sounding a bit exasperated).
Caller: An independent panel of scientists has figured out that Berrinol is completely safe. Okay? Safe! There it is.
(Now back in the Control booth with Amoonguss, Solrock, and Lunatone).
Amoonguss: So, the race will go on, folks. (Race Graphics show Silvally with ten points at the top of the race standings).
Solrock: But the question everyone is asking: Will the real Jolteon show up today?
(On The Racetrack - As the racers begin to get into position on the grid).
Amoonguss: Well, he better. Talk about a home- track advantage. Silvally grew up racing on this course. (Then the Alolan Racing Announcer says beginning his Part of the Procedure for the Race).
Alolan Racetrack Announcer: Signore e signori, in the pole position, Numero uno. (Translation: "Ladies and gentlemen, in the pole position, Number one"). (The crowd is cheering already, knowing who this is). Silvally! (The Alolan crowd roars and chants for their hometown hero as he says to the crowd).
Silvally: Bellissima! Thank you for your support. (Then Silvally turns and Says to Jolteon). And your big mistake, Jolteon! (Jolteon missed this comment, as He approaches his grid position, still lost in thought due to his worries for Lycanroc and what Uncle Emboar and Aunt Meganium said to him the night before).
Alolan Racetrack Announcer: In the secondo position. Numero Novantacinque. (Translation: "In the secondo position. Number ninety-five"). Jolteon! (But the Cheers are not so thunderous, obviously. But Jolteon does not seem to notice the crowd's lack of Cheer).
(Meanwhile In Jolteon's Pit - His team exchanges worried looks with each other as Nuzleaf asks Jolteon. Sneasel, Nuzleaf, Rillaboom, and Decidueye are each wearing Headphones to communicate with Jolteon).
Nuzleaf: Jolteon? Is everything okay?
Rillaboom: If you are worried about your fuel, man, Do Not. It is perfectly safe.
(Meanwhile Back on the Starting Grid).
Jolteon: No, guys, I just really wish Lycanroc were here.
Silvally: Silvally understands, Jolteon. (Silvally stands next to him, grinning widely. Jolteon sighs ready for whatever insults Silvally has for him).
Jolteon: Oh, great. Here it comes. What've you got, Silvally?
Silvally: For famous race Pokémon like Silvally and well. you, to be far away from home is not easy. (Jolteon is expecting this to be a set up for an insult and says sarcastically ignoring him).
Jolteon: I bet you forgot the insulting part of that insult. (But then Silvally says in sympathetic tone to Jolteon).
Silvally: Is no insult. When Silvally is away from home, he misses his mama just like you miss your Koragg Amico. (This Surprises Jolteon, seeing how understanding Silvally is for his Friend...).
Jolteon: Gee, I may have misjudged you, because that is exactly how I... (...Then Silvally interrupts Jolteon, before he can finish, to glorify himself).
Silvally: Of course, I am at home. And my mama is right here. (Silvally refers to his Mama, Ampharos who sits in a special box in the crowd with a Red Scarf, and is cheering him on, blowing him kisses. Then Silvally says Yelling to his Mama Ampharos).
Silvally: Mama! Do Not worry, Mama! Jolteon is incredibly sad! And I will beat his cry-baby bottom today! (Jolteon sighs to himself, finally hearing the Insult he knew was coming).
Jolteon: And there is the insult we were missing. Grazie!
(The Lights - Click from Red to Green. And then The Racers Take Off! The Racers Zoom through the first few turns through the city streets as the 2nd Race of the World Grand Prix begins. Unaware of the Disaster that is soon to befall them all!).
