This is a revamped version of another crossover I had worked on and I felt I needed to rewrite this. This will follow in a universe that doesn't have a zombie apocalypse, but Takashi was a member of the generation of miracles. I have a pairing for the characters of the KNB and HOTD planned. It will start at the beginning of the second year.

Years before…
It was night time. A young blacked haired boy was dribbling a basketball in his backyard. A screen door opens to reveal a man in his mid thirties with black hair and glasses, "Takashi, why are you out here late?".
Takashi looked up at the man, it was his father, "Sorry I was shooting a few hoops.".
His father couldn't help but laugh, "Think you could shoot a point right now?".
Takashi set up in a shooting position and threw the basket in the basketball hoop that was attached to the house and scored, "Nice, Takashi! A little bit more practice you might even be a pro someday."
Takashi couldn't help but smile at his fathers words, ''You think I'll be as good as a pro?".
"Ha, maybe Takashi. That school Teiko will probably help you gain that level of professionalism." Takashi's father commented as they went back inside their home, their family was packing to go to Tokyo, due to getting a scholarship at that school and leaving his friends. It would be a great opportunity for him to improve his basketball skills and it would be his best.

Takashi was on the ground clutching his left knee, his teammates were around him, his ACL was torn. A boy with blue hair and tan skin was being hold off to punch a player, with long black hair and a nasty look.

Fujimi academy…
Takashi was looking toward the city off the railing of the stairs, he was trying to forget about the incident and other memoirs of his past. This was the place he would come to mop around, his life had gotten a complete upside down, he got his ACL torn in his third year of middle school making it that his scholarship be taken away and now Rei wasn't talking to him and dating his friend Hisashi.
"I can't believe you're here at this stupid spot.", Takashi look up to see a childhood friend of his Saya, "You always come to spot when your sad, it stupid. It is already the first semester."
Saya walked up to Takashi and got up to his face knowing he was providing her a view of her cleavage. "How are you ever going to make it through the year.".
Takashi turned around from the view, "I could say the same thing about you Takagi, it's nearly the fifth period.".
"Wel unlike you I'm genius, you just got in because of dumb luck." Saya retorted to the black haired teenager.
"It's probably because I was in Teiko for two and half years on a scholarship and wontwo National titles." Takashi gave the pink-haired girl a small smile, "And you had to take the entrance exam to get into Fujimi?".
Saya couldn't help but be peeved by Takashi's words, "Oh, shut up! You better get back to class or else get ready to be kicked out. And also tomorrow will be a half day because the school basketball team will play a practice game tomorrow."
This caught Takashi's attention, "Huh, a practice game? What team is playing against me?".
Saya saw Takashi's eyes light up from the information hearing about the basketball game and smiled a bit, "Well apparently they're going up against last year's champion from Winter Cup, Seirin.".
"Really I wonder how they manage to get that set up?" Takashi knew that the Winter Cup was one of the most intense basketball tournaments in High School Basketball in Japan, "And Seirin is a new school right? It's been open for 3 years right?".
"Yeah, you got to be impressed, so anyways I'll be headed back to class you should too", Saya then left Takashi to his own affairs, he couldn't help but to think about his days at Teiko.

Seirin
The Seirin basketball team was in the gym practicing with their two new players, Asahina Daigo and Yagi Yuta. The captain of the team Junpei Hyuga was with their coach Riko Aida, "So Riko, Fujimi Academy. Mind telling me why we're having a practice match with them and having a training camp?".
"Well you see an old student of my dad's asked us to be willing to have a practice match with them." Riko responded to the Captain, "But, I believe this will be a good thing for us. Fujimi was once a contender for the Inter-High. We could see how we might manage without Kiyoshi.".
Their center Kiyoshi Teppai was overseas in the United States to get a stem cell surgery for his knee and would be out for a while. So the team now needed to fight once more without Kiyoshi.
"That sounds like a good idea, plus it will help those two to improve as well." Hyuga looks at the court to see their best players, Kuroko and Kagami practicing. The light-haired boy threw an alleyoop pass to Kagami, who then slammed it down.
"Oh yeah Kuroko. I'm just pumped up for tomorrow's game!" The red haired teen was excited to learn to have a practice game tomorrow.
Kuroko didn't pay attention to Kagami's question, he was thinking of someone he knew, an old teammate of his, Takashi Komuro. He was a first year student who also made the first string of the Teiko middle school basketball team. Takashi could have been considered to be a Generation of Miracles as well, but due to an incident causing him to get his ACL torn and his scholarship taken away.
"Hey Kuroko you okay?" Kagami spoke up to Kuroko who was in his own little world/
"Huh, sorry I was thinking about someone, that's all. Let's get ready to leave tomorrow, Kagami." Kuroko wasn't fully there and decided to go to hit showers to get ready for the trip.

Takashi was in his room with a basketball in his hand rolling it in his figure, he couldn't help but feel a bit of nostalgia for hearing Saya about the basketball game. It has been a long time his set up on the court, his ACL injury was able to recover greatly with surgery and physical therapy. But, he never decided to play again and caused him to be less expressive through the years. "That's probably why Rei dumped me, I should have paid more attention to her more.".
He saw her with Hisashi a couple of minutes before he came back home, she saw him walking down at the railroad near their home. Takashi felt hurt, but he couldn't help but feel he needed to make it up to her somehow by ignoring her. Maybe, try to get his act together or talk to her.
Right he was thinking about the game tomorrow and remembering his teammate from Teiko Academy, wondering what they are doing. One he specially remembers was Kuroko, he was the sixth phantom man of their team, who was able to use his stealth and passing skills in helping the team win games.
The two were closed due to be on the bench when they would be sub out for the starters. Takashi would always tell Kuroko about his hometown, friends and his favorite basketball players. Kuroko was most crushed to see him needing to go back to Tokonosu city due to his injury. He wondered if he was still playing basketball, so he then looked around to his wall to see a pair of Jordan 5s. "Should I bring them for tomorrow?".

Takashi decided to head outside to get a snack somewhere, he needed to get his mind together. He saw his favorite restaurant, Joestar Diner. Takashi was about to reach for the handle until, "Takashi is that you?'''.
The black haired teen could help but feel he recognized the voice and turn trying to find out who was talking to him, Tetsu Kuroko.
It was mind boggling to see him for almost 3 years but there he was the Sixth Phantom player, "Kuroko oh my god I can't believe it's you!"
"Takashi, it's been a long time since we last saw each other. Why are you here?" Kuroko was curious about meeting the blacked haired teenager.
"Well this happens to be my hometown Kuroko." Takashi answered the light blue teenager haired, "What are you doing here Kuroko?".
Before Kuroko could answer, "Hey, Kuroko, did you find a place to eat?".
Kagami came before the two teens, "Huh, who the hell is this guy.".

All three of them were chowing down on a meal each one had ordered, "So you used to be a part of the Generation of Miracles."
Both Takashi and Kuroko went to explain to Kagami who the black haired teenager was. Kagami could smell that Takashi had strength, but not as potent as the other five members had. It must have been all that time from being away from the game to long.
"How's your knee been, Takashi?" Kuroko asked his former teammate about his ACL injury before.
Takashi could help but smiled at his blue haired friend "I was able to recover my injury with a bit of surgery and physical therapy."
"So why haven't you played man?" Kagami was out right blut to asked the black haired teen.
"Kagami!"
"No, don't worry about Kuroko. Well it's just I haven't got a reason to play anymore." Takashi began to eat his meal as he explained his answer, "I mean there is the inter-high and the Winter cup but I was never interested in chasing them. I just want something that will get my hopes up in playing against strong opponents.".
"In other words you just need a push to decide to play again?" Kagami smirked to him, "Why not play against one on one then? Let's see if you have those skills still set in your bones.".
Takashi was honestly caught off guard by the offer before he could answer Kuroko's phone began to ring, " Kagami it's the captain he probably wants to know why we took so long we better get going or else we might get double the practice.".
"Ah Carp" Kagami finished his meal along with kuroko to make his way back to the inn that they were staying in or else face the coach's wrath.
Takashi pay for his meal and made his way back home and to think on Kagami offer.

Akashi was at his gym school practicing with his team in getting ready for the next inter-high until his phone began to ring. He opened to reveal an unknown number and answered, "Hello who might this be?".
"Hello this is the Japanese Director of Basketball, Takuzo Hayao. I wish to inform you that we wished for you and your members of the generation of miracles to join in a new youth basketball tournament that has been created.", the director began to tell the red haired captain of Rakuzan, "It has been called the International Youth Street Basketball Tournaments or the IYSBT for short. Boys under the age of 21 participate in a street basketball tournament in order to help influence basketball more to the world. I wish for you to select and create a team of the best 15 youth basketball players.".
Akashi was quite interested by the director's words that this would be an excellent chance for him and the members of the generation of miracles to display their skills, "Alright I Will take on this change in creating a team to participate. In the IYSBT, I will show the world the power of Japanese basketball.".
"Thank you and I hope for the best."

The next day…
The entire academy of Fujimi were at the gym waiting for the Seirin to arrive. Everyone was quite excited, students such as Yuuki Miku and Tsunado Niki were glad to leave school. While students such as Toshiba Niki, Misuzu Ichijou, Momo Kawamoto and Fumiko Taniuchi, were excited to see the game between the two teams.
Saya Takagi was here to see how Seirin won the winter cup, since most team that won the cup had years of experience and Seirin was barely new.
Rei and Hasagi were there to enjoy the basketball game, she hadn't seen a game in a while. She remembers when she, Saya and Takashi were kids, they would go to the park to see basketball games between the adults.
Saeko Busujima came to see how this game would play out hearing that the team they would be up against would be a national champion.
Kohta was sitting near the front in order to get a good view of the game. Surprisingly Takashi and his two friends as well Moria and Imamra, "Man I'm excited for this match. I heard this team was able to win the winter cup.".
Takashi couldn't help but smile at his friend Moria enthusiasm, from what he saw from last night Kagami Taiga could be a difficult opponent. He looked around the crowd to see that nearly the entire school was there. He got a seat near the Seirin team.

The Seirin team was arriving at the gate, Kagami's eyes were all red due to not sleeping a wink all night, "Dang it Kagami couldn't you sleep for once while getting excited!'.
While Junpei was ripping on Kagami, Riko was waiting for the person to arrive to greet their team. "RIKO!".
The entire team turned to the voice calling out to them and all of them were shocked to see a busty blonde woman wearing a lab coat running towards them,nearly the entire team could help but stare a. The brown haired girl smiled at the woman, "Shizuka, It's great to see you!".
Shizuka Marikawa was a student of her father in learning how human body condition, she was slowly able to bond with Riko as a sister, "Riko look at you! Your all grown up, well in most things.".
Riko couldn't help but feel a bit agitated but decided to ignore it, "well anyways we're here to play your school's team.".
"Thank you very much!" Shizuka jumps in the air causing her breast jiggle to make the boys stare at her, making Riko jealous of boys.
Kagami leaned over to the light blue haired boy, "Hey by the way Kurok I have to ask if Takashi ever went one on one, who would win?".
Kuroko Tully didn't know, "Well it's been a long time since he played and the injury, I really don't know if I couldn't tell you how he does on the court. But, Kakashi could have been a starter.".
"What for real man?"
"Yeah, he played as shooting guard and small forward, but with Midorima and Kise in those positions he would be a backup with those two. But he was considered to be an excellent slasher player with an outside shooting skill. Combine that with a high level of atheism and stamina, he was an offensive threat." Kuroko went on to explain the kind of player Takashi was, "He been playing basketball ever since he was a kid so his skill would be be sharp.".
"Yeah, playing young can help you be better in the future. Damn, I really want to go up against that guy!" Kagami could help but wanting to go up against the black haired teenager.

The Fujimi academy was out practicing on the court. They wore a white jersey with green highlights, most were second and third years. There was only one first year student on the team, due to not having interest in the team. Coach Teshima didn't know much about basketball but tried his best.
The Seirin team came to the court and began to practice as well on the court. Kuroko and Kagami were practicing their classic alley oop passes. Junpei was with Izuki in looking at the Fujimi team, "Huh they got senior players on their team.".
"I heard their point guard has played since middle school. You might even call him a senior point!." Izuki jokes on the point guard seniority, causing Junpei to be pissed off.
On the other side of the court the starting point guard and Captain, Fukumoto Shigeo was looking down at the court to see the opposite team. Seirin was able to win the winter against Rakuzan, one of the best teams in the nation and saw the power of the team with eyes. Even with his years of experience he knew that Kagami would be difficult to stop.
The teams were beginning to start, Riko set up the team she position;
Point Guard: Shun Izuki 3 year
Shooting Guard: Junpei Hyuga 3 year
Small Forward: Kuroko Tetsu 2 year
Power Forward: Kagami Taiga. 2 year
Center: Asahina Daigo Asahina 1 year
Teshima began to set up his team as well for Fujimi Academy:
Point Guard: Fukumoto Shigeo 3 year
Shooting Guard: Ouchi Takumi 3 year
Small Forward: Kishi Hitoshi 3 year
Power Forward: Murasoka Saburo 2 year
Center: Tokuda Masayuki 3 year
The two center stood on to before the ref, he then released the ball up onto the air and the two jumped but it was Asahina who was able to reach it and swat it to Izuki. He ran down the court and saw Ouchi blocking the path. Izuki passed the ball to the empty space, but it was Kuroko who passed it to Kagami. The red haired dribble to the paint, two players from Fujimi, he couldn't help but smile as jump in the air. The other two jumped in the air but couldn't stay in the air for long as the two of them started to fall.
Kagami then jammed the ball into the basket scoring two points for Seirin, "Yeah! Eat it!".
Takashi saw Kuroko pass and couldn't help but remember about his time at Teiko receiving those passes, "You still got your skills".
The entire school couldn't help but be mesmerized by Kagami jumping power, Takashi saw that his jumping power to be similar to Aoimine power. Fujimi got the ball Fukumoto was able to demonstrate his years of experience on the court, he passed the ball to his shooting guard and was able to shoot a 3 pointer.
Fujimi might not have basketball players who were like Kagami, but had plenty of experience on the court with the team.
The Seirin team began to show there offensive power on the court, Junpei with his clutch 3 points, Izuki with his eagle eye, Asahina was able to rebound and dunk Kagami's jumping power and Kuroko passing was able around the court.
The buzzer rang at the end of the quarter, Kagami slammed the ball once more, the score was 23-9. "Huh, it's already over huh? Man these guys are pretty weak.".
Nearly the entire school felt absolutely livid by the words of the Ace Seirin. Even if their team wasn't doing well, it didn't give him the right.
Junpei couldn't help but be agitated by Kagami words, he then threw the ball at red head, "Idiot, you should say things like that to them! Just stay focused and get ready for the next quarter.".
"He's right Kagami, you shouldn't say things" Kuroko also thought Kagami's words were quite rude, but then noticed somebody in the crowd it was Takashi near their seats.
Kagami notices this and asks his shadow, "Yo Kuroko what's up? Is there someone you know?".
"Oh sorry. It's just that I see Takashi sitting near our side." Kuroko answered his light, causing Kagami to hatch an idea on his head. It made the red-haired teenager decide to walk over where Takashi was sitting, causing a lot of the Seirin team to be curious while Kuroko was anxious by the red head.
"Yo, Takashi, I'm glad you could make it to watch the game." His speech was getting everyone in the gymnasium curious on why he was speaking to Takashi. The blacked haired teen couldn't help but feel a bit of embarrassment, "Come on man you said that you wanted to go up against a strong opponent. Well I was able to defeat all of your old teammates, so why don't come down here on this court and see your skills.".
Kagami threw a basketball at the blacked hair teen who was able to catch the ball, causing the entire gym to be silent. Junpei and Riko began to scold Kagami, leaving Takashi with the ball. It felt like a millennial to have a ball be thrown to him. He then threw the ball back to the red haired teenager, Kagami could help but feel the strength of the pass. Takashi began to walk up to the power forward, ignoring everyone's look. Rei and Saya eyes widen to see Takashi walking up to Kagami.
The two individuals stared into each other's eyes, "You want to go? Let's do this asshole.".
Kagami could help but smiled, "Bring it on!".
