In an ordinary house, a little boy named Allen Neal Jones-whose nickname is AJ-played hide-and-seek with his father, he searches the whole house, but can't find him... then he sees a photo of his parents , after entering his father's office, he sees a mess and the windows are half closed, as if someone had been there.
AJ: "Dad?...Dad!"
His father Jonathan Neal Jones, enters, sees what has happened, immediately begins to put away things that are useful, his wife; Martha Neal Jones does too, Jonathan tries to erase all important evidence, so they both take AJ to their uncles: Ray Neal Jones and Karen Neal Jones, Jonathan explains the situation to them, AJ has no idea about anything.

AJ watches as his parents leave, while his aunt tries to cheer him up.

As a young adult, AJ dedicated himself to wrestling, joining the company TNA Impact!... under the name AJ Styles, in training he receives harassment from a more experienced partner named Eli Drake, one day he throws a punch at him, one day, he hits him over the head with a basketball.
Drake scoffs.

However, he watches as Drake abuses a partner named Nick Aldis, making him eat food headfirst.
Eli Drake: "That Nick, enjoy it, enjoy it...hey AJ, while you're there take a picture of this."
AJ Styles: "I'm not going to do it, put it down now, Eli."
Eli Drake: "Take the damn picture, Styles."
AJ Styles: "Take it down now!"
Eli puts Nick down, AJ tries to help him, but Eli hits AJ in the face, then gives him a free beating, Daffney (from the knockouts) can't stand to see this, Eli behaves like an animal challenging anyone, until it's stopped by Mickie.
Mickie James: "Eli!...will we meet after training?...we have to talk about your performance in the ring, because you are...very disappointing."
Eli Drake: "Mickie, I..."
Mickie James: "No, just focus on tonight's show."
Mickie looks at AJ one more time, AJ checking that none of his equipment is broken.

That night TNA Impact! they present an eye-catching card: Austin Aries Vs. Robbie E. Ropert I Winner: Austin Aries, Mr. Anderson Vs. Eli Drake I Winner: Mr. Anderson, Mickie James Vs. Miss Tessmacher I Winner: Mickie James and AJ Styles Vs. Samoa Joe I Winner: AJ Styles.

Backstage, Mickie talks to AJ.
Mickie James: "It was nice what you did in the morning, stupid...but nice, why don't you go to the nurse?...Joe's punches aren't as lethal as Eli's angry ones."
AJ Styles: "What a good joke."
Micky smiles.
Mickie James: "You're AJ Styles, right?"
AJ Styles: "Didn't you know my name?"
Mickie James: "Of course I know, I just wanted to be there so you know."
AJ Styles: "Allen Neal Jones."
Mickie James: "Yeah, that's it...still go see the nurse."
AJ smiles that finally, she spoke to him.
