Prologue: Hello

Adrien looked up at the sky, leaning back on his hands to relax and enjoy the sun. The steady, calming movements of the boat rocked Adrien slightly from side to side, adding to Adrien's relaxed state.

Someone came up behind him and ruffled his hair.

"You look a little sleepy there, Adrien."

"Yeah, just enjoying the peace and sunshine."

Luka smiled and handed Adrien a glass of lemonade, sitting down beside him. The rest of their friends weren't far behind, carrying their own drinks as they all came up to the deck and sat around in a circle.

They were all returning to school the next day, and so they'd all decided to spend one last day in peace together before they entered their last year of high school.

Marinette sighed from beside Adrien, bringing her glass up to her lips and taking a small sip. "I still can't believe you'll be joining us at school this year." She said, leaning forward to look at Luka.

"Neither can I." Juleka, Luka's twin, muttered. The group chuckled.

"Yeah, the music department at your school is better than at my old one. So, I decided to transfer."

"And that's the only reason? I'm hurt." Alya joked, raising a dramatic hand to her chest and gasping that she'd been badly wounded. "Nino, my heart has been broken. Hold me!" She fell into her boyfriends arms and started exaggeratedly sobbing for a few seconds before coming out of it and laughing.

"Yeah, I suppose there's that too." Luka deadpanned before breaking out into a smile.

Adrien had a soft, easy smile on his face, listening to the banter between their friendship group. He was glad he'd made such good friends after not having any for most of his life, and that his father had relaxed over the years as Adrien had gotten older, finally allowing Adrien to go out with his friends more.

"Oh! We should all take a photo!" Marinette exclaimed, pulling her phone from her pocket and opening up her camera. Everyone agreed and crowded around, smiling and pulling silly faces. "Perfect!"

After Marinette had taken a few photos, everyone moved back into the circle.

"I'll send the picture to everyone later." Marinette said.

Adrien glanced at the lowering sun, and stood up. "I'm going to go to the bathroom."

He walked below deck and into the bathroom, pulling out his phone to check his notifications.

He opened one of the forums he was involved in and noticed he'd gotten a message from someone an hour earlier.

Viperion: Hi! I was scrolling through your profile and thought you seemed cool. Hope you don't mind me messaging you like this out of the blue! I'm Viperion, 18 and I'm also from Paris.

Chat Noir: Hey! I don't mind at all. It's nice to meet you. Sorry I didn't see this earlier, I've been out with friends all day

Viperion responded almost immediately.

Viperion: Wow! Thank you for responding, I honestly wasn't expecting you too. And don't worry about it! I've been hanging with friends all day too (:

Chat Noir: Are you back to school tomorrow?

Viperion: Yeah, I am

Chat Noir: Oh cool! My friends and are back to school tomorrow as well, which is why we're having a chill day together before entering our final year.

Viperion: Great minds must think alike, because that's what my friends and I are doing too!

Viperion: Speaking of, I should get back to them and let you get back to your friends for now. Talk later?

Chat Noir: Yeah! Definitely

Adrien finished up, and was about to close the forum when a notification popped up.

Friend request from Viperion

He accepted, right as his friend Ladybug messaged him as well.

Ladybug: How's your last day before school treating you?

Chat Noir: Pretty good! My friends and I have been hanging out all day. Yours?

Ladybug: Same. It's been a good day out with friends so far.did I

Chat Noir: Glad to hear it, bug.

Ladybug: (:

Ladybug: I'm gonna get back to my friends, just wanted to see how you're doing. Bye bye!!

Adrien closed the forum with a smile on his face as he made his way back up to his friends.

AN: I know, I know. Why the hell am I posting *another* fic when I'm already working on 3 others.

I don't know. Inspiration struck, what can I do?

And I think I've developed a huge thing for Lukadrien. I read one one shot where they're a pairing, and look at me now.

Oh well. Hope you enjoy. This one will be very different from my other stories (although to be fair all my stories are very different from each other.)
