One moment Sakura was simply walking on a street sidewalk then the next she found herself being pinned against a wall in a narrow alleyway.

A gasp escaped from her mouth when she looked up. Two black orbs just inches away from her, the person's nose was almost touching hers.

"I'm sorry," came in his raspy voice. "I didn't mean to drag you when I found an escape."

She was so mesmerized by his eyes, she didn't even hear the extremely annoying screams and shrieks from the hoard of fangirls running in the main street.

Realizing that she was in a compromising position with a man, her cheeks reddened.

To her relief, the guy inched away. Scratching the back of his neck, he apologized again.

"Wait, what escape? Are you a criminal?"

Before she could scream, the man covered her mouth. Sakura's fight or flight instinct kicked in. And boy did she choose the former and did the unthinkable. She kicked the man in the area where it'll hurt a lot for their kind.

The man almost curled up on the street floor wincing in pain, one hand on his crotch, the other held up in defeat. "I-I'm not a c-criminal," he choked.

Oh my goodness! Sakura thought. She immediately lowered down to his level and helped him straighten up.

"I'm sorry I thought you were a bad person."

"Are you a kickboxer?" he asked as he dusted off his trousers-covered knees.

That's when Sakura noticed how nicely dressed and handsome the man is. He was simply wearing a dark gray hoodie and white sneakers, his face looked so unblemished. She thanked herself internally for looking at least decent with her long-sleeved top and jeans, and not her usual disheveled appearance.

"I used to do taekwondo in middle school."

He just looked at her. A look so blank, she had no idea what it meant. Being under the gaze of someone this good-looking made her really uncomfortable and conscious about her whole being.

"Do you not recognize me?"

"Huh?!"

"Never mind," he said as he glanced at the main street. "Look, I-" he winced again.

Sakura's hand flew to her mouth. "Oh god, does it still hurt?"

"No, it's nothing."

"What nothing, you're obviously hurt."

"Have you eaten lunch?"

"What?" the question came out of nowhere, "Yes, I mean no, I haven't."

"I won't hold this," pointing at that thing between his legs, "against you, if you eat with me cause I too haven't eaten yet."

She was taken aback but "Well that's smooth."

All she received was a smirk before he turned around to get going, perfectly sure that she'll agree. Sakura couldn't help but gape in disbelief. But he wasn't wrong. Now in normal circumstances she wouldn't agree but there's something about him that piques her curiosity. Besides, she needs to make up for the pain she inflicted.

Throughout the whole walk to the restaurant, the guy's hoodie was completely covering his whole head. He even took a face mask from his pocket to wear. Sakura thought it was odd, for someone who's not a criminal hiding from the authorities, he is being extremely discreet.

They were already seated when Sakura asked for his name. And who exactly was he hiding from.

"I was being chased by my fangirls," he explained as he rummage through his phone. "Here, it'll answer your question."

Sakura took the phone.

"You're a celebrity?"

On the screen was the result of a google search of the name Sasuke Uchiha. The first ones are the most common information including his most famous movies.

The surprised girl continued scrolling, "Yes, a famous one. But I learned today I actually am not."

"I'm sorry," she looked at him. "I has no idea. And you shouldn't use me as your fame meter cause I haven't been tuned in to the latest celebrity thing since I started med school."

The guy, who apparently is a celebrity heartthrob dodging his horde of fangirls, leaned on the back rest of his chair. He stared at her as she reads his wikipedia page.

With wide eyes, Sakura exclaimed for the third time in just the last two minutes. "You're from the uchiha family. The famous clan in show business industry. I know your older brother. I used to have a crush on him when I was in grade school."

"Do you wish to meet him?"

"Oh no," she shook a hand, "that was just a childhood crush. I'm not interested anymore."

Sasuke put his phone inside his pocket when she returned it. "You're studying to be a doctor."

When their food came, they talked some more and Sasuke couldn't help but be amazed by her nonchalance. Not only is she very pretty and articulate, she also possesses that one thing he's been looking for in a girl. A girl who doesn't define him by his looks and fame.

"I still don't know your name."

"Oh, of course," she gave him a sheepish smile before holding her hand between them for a handshake. "I'm Sakura. Haruno Sakura."
