AJ keeps the suspect's portrait, his intention is to hunt him down...after all, he is already a skilled and quite tough wrestler, now with his newly acquired skills...he plans to make him pay for what he did to his uncle. He begins by going into dark alleys, finds a man abusing a woman, so it could be him.
AJ Styles: "Hey!... do you like to hit women and old people?"
Perpetrator: "Better get out of here, pretty boy, or you'll regret it."
AJ Styles: "What was your last crime?...hey!".
AJ starts attacking him.
AJ Styles: "I asked you something, deaf!".
AJ's attack draws the attention of AJ's teammates, although at first AJ can with them, he soon finds himself outnumbered and therefore forces him to flee, but the perpetrator will not leave it so easy so they chase him, for his surprise AJ scales the walls with great ease, making AJ incredible parkour. At one point, AJ reaches the roof of a building, where he meets the perpetrator face to face... he confronts him, AJ almost causes him to fall with a blow, AJ holds him and checks his wrist confirming that he does not have the tattoo as a star, so therefore he is not his uncle's murderer, AJ lets him go to safety. Suddenly, AJ falls through a hole, becoming unconscious.
AJ Styles: "Ugh."
When he wakes up, he sees that he has fallen into a Japanese training dojo, AJ likes this aesthetic, but he is interested out when he sees the portrait of a samurai, tonight his identity was exposed, but...what if no one recognized him to catch the killer?...AJ has an idea. AJ begins to draw sketches of a mask, even in his fighting days, at night he goes out looking for criminals and robbers hoping to find the murderer, likewise he orders some biocables from JarrCorp, special cables strong enough to support the weight of a person and at the same time elastic to move in any way, AJ creates a launcher that is activated by pressing a button, he tests it after doing parkour on top of a building and then dropping from the top, shooting the launcher, the result is efficient. AJ continues to catch criminals, exercising 'justice' into his own hands, this catches the attention of Stuart James, the police chief.
Officer: "He's caught 5 this week, all with criminal records, people call him a vigilante."
Stuart James: "He's not a vigilante, he's a nutcase who wants attention."
AJ leaves a criminal hanging near the police station, people record it, in a TNA show colleagues talk about him.
Gunner: "Look at that, how much agility and speed...do you really think he's human?"
Mike Bennett: "Come on, there are no inhumans and you know that perfectly well."
Gunner: "Well this guy must be super gifted, maybe a great athlete."
AJ makes a face while listening to them, AJ creates a red and black spandex suit, which simulates the armor of a samurai, and wears a helmet to hide his identity, the design on the face is three crossed katanas, he tries to keep an eye on the city from now on... then he calls her his aunt.
AJ Styles: "Hello, eggs? ... if I bring them tonight."
