Based on the Story "Four Amigas, Four Unplanned Pregnancies" by Fun But Shy Girl

Sydney appeared in the second floor hallway of her home as she said, "Whoa. That was weird. Okay. So... I must be in another new universe... which looks pretty similar to mine. Nothing out of the ordinary..." Then suddenly Sydney heard the sound of a little baby girl yell, "Mama!" Sydney's eyes then widened as she said, "Huh? Do I have a little sister in this universe?" Then Sydney went into her bedroom to see a crib with a little baby girl sitting in the crib holding her hands out. The little girl then said, "Mama!" A confused Sydney then pointed to herself as she said, "You talking to me kid?" Then Max from nearby walked into the bedroom and said, "Hey Syd, your babysitter cancelled, and I gotta head to the bike shop. Sorry, but you're gonna have to cancel plans to go to your school's homecoming dance and stay home tonight." A confused Sydney then said, "Wait. The babysitter cancelled? Then why am I..." Then Max said, "Hey. As much as I wanna be a cool stay at home grandpa, little Alisha is your daughter, and you have to take to care of her too." Max then walked out of the room, as a very freaked out Sydney then said, "My daughter!?"

Sydney then stood still for a moment as she starred at the baby girl named Alisha before her. As Sydney looked freaked out she said, "You... are... my daughter. You... came out of me... and now I'm... a mom... which is... crazy." Then suddenly Sydney had a freaked out look on her face as she said, "Oh my God? Was I violated? Are you supposed to be a secret? Do all my friends know about..." Then suddenly from the nearby door, Harry walked in as he said, "Hey Syd." Sydney now looked very scared as she yelled, "Harry! It's not what it looks like!" Harry smirked as he said, "Well it sure looks like it to me. Little Alisha should be asleep by now." Then Harry walked over to Alisha and picked her up while saying, "Were you waiting to get a good night kiss from daddy?" Harry then kissed Alisha on the cheek, as a somewhat relieved but still confused Sydney said, "Oh. This is... our daughter." Then as Harry put Alisha in her crib, he said, "Hey. I gotta work evening shift tonight. I was gonna apologize for not being able to make it to the dance, but your dad said you couldn't make it either. Don't worry. I'll try to have us do something special next weekend." Harry then kissed Sydney on the cheek, and then quickly walked out of the room. A still confused Sydney then said, "What's going on here?"

Later that evening, Sydney was pacing in the hallway as she pressed the jade stone on her necklace while saying, "Cyber Olive? Cyber Olive, come in. This is Sydney Prime. I'm a freaking teen mother in this universe and I don't know what to do. Uggh. Why has she not contacted me yet!?" Then Sydney heard the sound of baby Alisha crying in the nearby bedroom. Sydney walked into the bedroom and approached Alisha as she said, "Oh God. What am I supposed to do? Um... you don't smell like you need a diaper change. Um... are you hungry. Do you need milk? Okay. Um... sorry, little one, but since I'm your mother's doppelganger and actually not her, I don't think I can breast freed you." Then suddenly Sydney saw a mini-fridge nearby. Sydney opened it, and saw a bottle of milk inside. A relieved Sydney then said, "Oh God, thank you. Already prepared milk." Sydney then held Alisha in one arm, while using her free hand to give her milk. Alisha quickly began to drink her milk, as a still freaked out looking Sydney said, "Okay. So... I'm feeding my child... of another universe... where I'm a teen mom. But no pressure. Right. No pressure."

The next day Sydney was walking down the sidewalk while pushing baby Alisha in a stroller. As Sydney walked down the sidewalk pushing the stroller with one hand, she used her other hand to again press the jade stone on her necklace as she said, "Cyber Olive, where are you? I am freaking out here. What is my mission? If it was to prevent my doppelganger from getting pregnant, I arrived a little too late." Then suddenly Sydney heard the sound of Olive's voice say, "Hey Sydney!" A relieved Sydney then said, "Cyber Olive?" Then Sydney turned her head and saw Olive walking towards her while pushing a stroller with another baby girl riding in it. A very surprised Sydney then said, "Olive! You... have a baby of your own?" A smiling Olive then said, "Hey Syd. How you doing?" Then the baby girl in Olive's stroller reached forward towards baby Alisha, causing baby Alisha to reach forward too. A happy looking Olive then said, "Aww. Look at Serenity and Alisha there. Our two babies already wanna give their sister a hug." A confused looking Sydney then said, "Sister?" Then Olive said, "Oh good. You made sure to have Alisha wear her yellow dress. I checked with Emmy this morning, and Sophia over the phone. They got their girls in yellow too, so all four sisters will be matching for their picture together." A confused looking Sydney then said, "Their girls? Sophia and Emmy have kids too!? But why did you call them all sisters? You mean that metaphorically right?"

Olive sighed and said, "Sydney, we talked about this. We agreed it was wrong to hide the truth in public anymore, and we were only going to grow from our mistakes if we admitted our mistakes. You, me, Sophia, and Emmy had an orgy with Harry, and we all got pregnant from him. Yes, we're ashamed of that; but what you shouldn't be ashamed about is how since then: you have become a completely responsible and hard working mother, and you are constantly growing to be a better person with each passing day." A very freaked out looking Sydney then said, "We... had an orgy... with Harry... and all of us..." Sydney then leaned over into the grass and threw up for a few seconds. A concerned looking Olive then said, "Whoa. Are you feeling sick Syd?" Sydney then stood up and said, "Um... just a little tired. Being a teen mother is... difficult." Olive sighed and said, "Yeah, I hear you. But my mom said despite how adding stuff to our plate may sound crazy, it's good to mix one little hobby into your life. You know, let yourself have a little fun in between mothering duties. Like, when's the last time you did any singing?"

Then Sydney saw the church she regularly attended nearby, and said, "Hey. Look over there. What's that sign near the church say?" As Sydney and Olive both pushed their strollers closer to the church, Olive said, "Hmm. Looks like they're holding auditions for the new youth choir. Sydney, you should so join! You could fit that into your schedule." With a little smile, Sydney said, "Yeah. That... does sound kind of fun." Then the two teenage girls saw the female pastor of the church: Pastor Moore stepping out of the building. Sydney approached Pastor Moore and said, "Oh, hey Pastor Moore. How you doing?" Pastor Moore looked a little bit caught off guard and said, "Oh. Um... hello Sydney." An excited Sydney then said, "Anyway, I just the sign that you're holding auditions for the youth choir. So where do I sign up?" Pastor Moore looking slightly nervous said, "Oh. Well... we're already fine. No need for any more sign ups right now." A confused Sydney then said, "Then... why is the sign still up?" Pastor Moore then sighed and said, "Look Sydney. The church doesn't need any negative attention right now, and it's important that all leaders, even those that lead the congregation in music, don't have a... very negative reputation. I'm sorry." Pastor Moore then quickly walked away as a confused looking Sydney then said, "What?"

Later that day: Sydney, Olive, Sophia, and Emmy were sitting around a large blanket in the park, as their four baby girls were playing with little toys together. As the four teen mothers kept one eye on their children, an upset looking Sydney then said, "I couldn't believe it. Pastor Moore has always been so kind and inviting to me. But somehow being a teen mother excludes me from being in the church choir? What's up with that!?" Emmy sighed and said, "I hear ya. The leaders in my church always spread the importance of being pro-life and how we should bring any child we have into the world no matter what circumstances conceived them. So I do what they say, and choose to have little Esperanza and raise her. But as soon as I turn to my church leaders for help, they barely acknowledge I exist; as if the one act of sin I committed is contagious." Olive sighed and said, "I know. Some of the leaders at my synagogue have been like that too. It's like there's a whole big section of society that tells us it's important to not give up your kids before they're born. But then when we do have our kids, we're shunned for doing exactly what we were encouraged to do." A surprised looking Sydney then said, "I... I had no idea that being a teen mother was so difficult for you all... I mean all of us... before I had Alisha, I mean." Sophia sighed and said, "It's scary. You're treated like a criminal if you give up your child, and treated like one if you keep them. There's no easy path for girls like us." Then Olive's daughter Serenity crawled up to her mother. Olive then held Serenity in her arms and said, "Well... let the world hate us. At least I have all of you, and this little ball of unconditional love in my arms." Sydney made a little smile as she watched Olive hug her daughter, but then looked down with a sad look.

A tired looking Sydney sat on the couch in her living room as she held baby Alisha in her arms. As Sydney looked at Alisha, she said, "I don't understand the world at times. How could they see just an adorable little innocent like you and not want to help you, or help me help you at growing up." Sydney then kissed Alisha on the head and said, "I'm sorry little one... that you have to grow up in such a cruel world." Then Max walked into the house through the front door and said, "Hey. How was your day today? How are the other Amigas and their kids?" Sydney sighed and said, "They're all okay. But... it's been rough... for all of us. I mean I tried auditioning for the church choir, but Pastor Moore wouldn't even let me. It's like being a teen mom has turned me into some terrible criminal." Max then sat next to Sydney and said, "I know. I mean after you got pregnant, I had a few friends of my own not return my calls anymore. However... we have gotten support from a few people we know. If anything, your pregnancy finally helped us realize who all of the real friends of our family are." Then Sydney reached out and held Max's hand for a moment and said, "Dad... thanks for still loving me... in spite of everything I did." Max smiled and said, "Anytime kiddo. I just wish the rest of the world still saw you for the talented and hard working person you are." Then Max got up and was about to walk out of the room, when Sydney stopped him and said, "Wait... maybe there is a way you can help me do that."

At the bike shop, a performance stage was set up. Sydney sat on the stage with her guitar as a small crowd began to gather. As Sydney looked the crowd she said, "Hey everyone. I was... reminded just now that I haven't performed here in a long time, or anywhere for that matter. And that's mostly because I've been busy... being a teen mom. Now becoming a pregnant at a young age is not something I recommend any teen girl out there should do, and I'm not glamorize it for you all. However... it's a responsibility no one should run away from once it comes before them. Some people may see a teen mother's child as a mark of shame upon them. However when I look into the eyes of Alisha... my... daughter... all I can see now... is something that inspires me, empowers me, and strengthens me to be the best person I can be. So I've decided to sing a song to my daughter tonight who's sitting in the back with my dad. It's the song: Where You Lead by Carole King, also better known as the theme song to Gilmore Girls. I don't know if that show is gonna be a proper or realistic depiction of what my own life will be like for me and my daughter when she's a teenager, but I'd like to think the song at least will be."

Sydney then looked at her daughter Alisha sitting on Max's lap on the other side of the bike shop, and then began to play her guitar as she sang, "Wanting you the way I do. I only wanna be with you. And I would go to the ends of the earth 'cause, darling to me that's what you're worth. Where you lead, I will follow. Anywhere that you tell me to. If you need, you need me to be with you. I will follow where you lead. If you're out on the road feeling lonely, and so cold, all you have to do is call my name and I'll be there on the next train. Where you lead, I will follow. Anywhere that you tell me to. If you need, you need me to be with you. I will follow where you lead." Eventually Sydney finished the song, as the crowd in the bike shop clapped for her. Then as Sydney stepped off the stage, she saw Pastor Moore emerge from the audience.

A surprised Sydney then said, "Pastor Moore?" Pastor Moore waved and said, "Hello Sydney. I just wanted to say that I enjoyed hearing your voice tonight... and I also wanted to apologize for my behavior today. As a pastor I'm worried sometimes about doing something that will cause me to lose church members, instead of focusing on how I need to love my church family and show them forgiveness... just as I need forgiveness as well." Sydney made a little smile as she said, "We're all human Pastor Moore. We make mistakes. It's how we grow from our mistakes that really defines us." Pastor Moore nodded her head and said, "So true. So if you want... you can join the Youth Choir if you wish. And if making it to rehearsals on Wednesday nights is rough for you, I have the numbers to a few church members that I could talk into babysitting little Alisha for free." Sydney smiled as she said, "I'll keep that in mind. Thank you."

Sydney then walked over to Max who was holding baby Alisha. Sydney then took Alisha into her arms as she said, "Hey baby. Did you like that song?" Max smirked as he said, "She was bouncing to it... or maybe that was my leg. But anyway, you were great Syd. I think you made a real difference tonight." Max then walked away, as Sydney took a moment to just look into baby Alisha's eyes. Sydney then saw the jade stone on her necklace begin to glow as she said, "I... I think I'm about to leave this universe. I don't know what's going to happen next for you little one. I'm told when my doppelganger returns she'll still have all the important memories of what I did here, so I think you're gonna be okay. But as for me... I promise you that when I finally have a kid of my own, I will love them as much as I love you now." Then Sydney kissed Alisha on the forehead, just as a bright blue light caused everything around Sydney to disappear.

Sydney suddenly appeared in a bright blue void with nothing around her. As Sydney looked around, she looked at her phone for a moment as she said, "I'm back in this weird void. Ugh. Not even my phone works here… Cyber Olive! WHERE ARE YOU!?" Suddenly a large screen appeared near Sydney, and Cyber Olive appeared on it as she said, "Oh, hey there. Sorry I couldn't help you on your last mission. I got tied up fixing something in a weird universe. But great work on your last assignment. You helped make the lives of everyone on the world you went to much better. You've been doing a great job Sydney Prime, just as I expected!" Sydney then said, "Thanks for the feedback. So... can I finally get back home?" Cyber Olive then said, "How many times do I have to tell you? It's not up to me, it's the jade stone…" A frustrated Sydney then said, "Come on! I have been to so many places already now! When is this gonna end!?" Suddenly a bright blue glow began to surround Sydney as she said, "Oh God. Here we go again." Then Sydney disappeared into a bright blue light.

Sydney suddenly opened her eyes as she found herself in bed at night with her phone vibrating on the nearby night table. As a confused Sydney reached into the dark room for her phone, she said, "W… what?" Sydney then answered her phone and heard Olive's voice say, "Sydney? It's me. Olive… Look... I know you don't like me calling at this hour because… you know… but please please, don't forget tomorrow's presentation… It's important." A confused Sydney then said, "Uh, I won't… don't worry…" Sydney then ended the call, and put her phone down. But just as Sydney put her phone down, she felt cold. As she moved under the covers she came to another horrific realization: she was completely bare naked. A confused Sydney then said, "W… what… why?" But if that shocked her, that shock turned to terror when, as Sydney turned the nearby night lamp on, she realized she was not only in her dad's bed, but also that her father was sound asleep beside her… also bare naked. A freaked out Sydney then said, "WHAT THE!?"
