Sydney suddenly found herself appearing in the hallway of her high school. The hallway was empty as a confused Sydney, "So... I'm back at school?" Suddenly the bell rang and Sydney saw many students leaving their classrooms. Sydney then saw Olive and Emmy walking out of a class together, and then she quickly approached them as she said, "Olive! Emmy! How are you two doing?" Olive and Emmy then looked at Sydney with confused faces as Olive said, "Umm... do we know you?" Then Emmy said, "Oh, are you one of the new students we're supposed to show around the school?" Sydney felt a bit confused as she said, "Oh... um... no. I mean I'm new here, but... I just heard some good stuff about you two, and... just wanted to say hi. Now I'm just gonna say bye." Then Sydney turned around walked away as she softly said to herself, "Okay. So I'm in a world where Olive and Emmy don't know me. Well that's really weird. But at least this feels like my school and looks a lot like my world. Nothing super strange so far." Then Sydney suddenly stopped dead in tracks and her eyes widened at what she was seeing. Walking around the corner of the hallway was her father Max, and her mother Alisha... and they were both teenagers. Sydney stood shocked as she said, "It's my parents... and they're the same age as me!?"
Sydney then simply remained still as Max and Alisha walked by Sydney without giving her a single glance. Sydney then followed them from afar as she had tears in her eyes as she said, "It's dad, and... mom. She's alive. Oh my God. She looks more beautiful than she did in all the pictures dad showed me." Suddenly Alisha dropped a pencil she was carrying. Sydney quickly grabbed the pencil and ran over to Alisha as she said, "Mo... Alisha!" Alisha and Max stopped, as Alisha turned to look at Sydney as she said, "Huh?" Sydney held out the pencil as she dropped it. Alisha took the pencil as she said, "Oh, thanks. Wait. How do you know my name?" Sydney looked a bit nervous as she said, "Umm..." Then Alisha with a smile said, "Oh wait. Are you one of the new students here to join the school track team?" Then Sydney said, "Um... I mean I don't think I go to this school..." Then a smiling Alisha said, "Right. You're one of the home school kids. But don't worry. You're considered part of our community, as long as you're on the team. So what's your name?" With a little smile, Sydney said, "Sydney. I'm... Sydney." Alisha smiled as she said, "Sydney. That's a sweet name. Anyway, right here is my best friend Max." Max waved as he said, "Hey there. Anyway Alisha, I have to go home to study. See ya." Max then headed out of the school as Alisha said, "See ya Max. Anyway Sydney, I'll see you in a few minutes in the locker room then. We'll have a spare outfit for you to wear if you don't have one."
Alisha then walked off as a very confused Sydney walked into the nearby girls bathroom which was vacant. Suddenly the jade stone on Sydney's necklace began to glow, and then a holographic image of Cyber Olive appeared from it. Cyber Olive waved and said, "Hey Sydney Prime. How is your mission in this new universe going so far?" A freaked out looking Sydney then said, "New universe!? Cyber Olive, somehow I've gone back time! But for some reason Olive and Emmy are here... and things look mostly like the present. What's going on? Did my parents jump forward in time?" Cyber Olive then trying to speak clearly said, "No Sydney Prime. You are indeed in the present of a different universe. However it's a universe where your parents are teenagers." A very confused Sydney then said, "How can that be!? My parents were teenagers in the 90's! Not now!"
Then Olive said, "It's the multiverse Sydney Prime. Anything is possible. Your great-great-grandparents might've had their children ten years later in life in this universe, and then your great-grandparents another ten years later, and then your grandparents a little later too. That's just a guess though. Obviously you don't have a doppelganger in this reality, but the genetics you share with your real parents have brought you to their doppelgangers. I know this all sounds confusing, but the point is your parents are here in this universe as teenagers, and from what I can tell: you're here to help them." Then Sydney still looking confused said, "With what? Making sure they get married? Or am I supposed to set a chain off a events that keep my mom from dying in this reality?" Cyber Olive looking a little confused herself said, "I'm not sure. But this is a new universe with it's own rules. The Max Reynolds and Alisha Webb you encountered are already different people due to growing up in a different decade; so there will be differences you encounter with them, and they are already destined to live different lives than your parents did. You just have to make sure that they find the best life for themselves in this universe. Understood?" Sydney sighed and said, "Okay. I'll start trying to figure out what to do."
Later that afternoon, Sydney and Alisha were both wearing track uniforms as they were jogging around the school track together. As the two jogged, Alisha glanced at Sydney as she said, "You look pretty cute in that track outfit." Sydney smiled as she said, "Thanks. So... your best friend Max that you introduced me to earlier... are you and him like... together?" A surprised looking Alisha then said, "Me and Max? Nah. He's just my bro. We've been besties for years. We hang out a lot, and we've been through a lot of tough times together. We tell each other like, everything." Then Sydney turned her head and saw from afar: Max walking back into the school building. Sydney with a skeptical look, softly said to herself, "Didn't he say he was going home to study?" Then Sydney looked at Alisha and said, "Um, gotta use the bathroom. Be right back." Then Sydney rushed over to the school building.
Sydney wandered around the school hallway looking for Max. Suddenly she heard some voices, and headed towards a door. Sydney saw the sign outside the door said: School Counselor. Sydney then heard Max talking with the female school counselor behind the door as he said, "Doc, what's wrong with me?" Sydney then heard the school counselor say, "Listen Max. There's no judgment in this room. Just tell me what's the biggest thing on your mind right now, and how you're feeling." Max sighed and said, "Okay. So... the thing is... I like girls. I mean growing up, there were several girls I had a crush on. In fact I've had a crush on my best friend Alisha for awhile now, and haven't told her. But now... there's someone else I have a big crush on, and... I feel bad about it. I've been having this dream once or twice a week about this new person I have a crush on, and in this dream... no, nightmare; me and this person... we... urgh… I feel like throwing up. It's awful." The school counselor then said, "It's okay to tell me. What are you two doing in the dream Max?" As Sydney stood looking shocked outside the door, she said, "Dad has a crush on someone who isn't mom?" Then inside the room, Max said, "Wait. Did you hear someone outside?" The school counselor then said, "It's just you and me here Max." A panicked sounding Max then said, "Could you just check?" The school counselor sighed and said, "Okay." Then a panicked looking Sydney said, "Uh oh. I better split." Then Sydney ran away down the hallway. Then as Sydney turned a corner quickly: she hit her head on an open door hard, fell to the ground, and then laid on the floor passed out.
Sydney slowly opened her eyes in the school nurses office, as she heard Alisha's voice say, "Sydney, are you okay?" As Sydney slowly opened her eyes on the bed she was laying on, she said, "Mom?" Alisha smiled as she said, "No. It's Alisha." As Sydney sat up she saw Alisha and the school nurse sitting next to her. The school nurse handed Sydney a glass of water as she said, "You hit your head pretty bad, but you'll be okay. You should be grateful Alisha here found you. I tried calling your parents, but the coach didn't seem to have your contact information, and I can't let you leave without someone picking you up. Can't have you walk home with a potential concussion." Sydney looked a little nervous as she said, "Umm..." Then Alisha quickly said, "It's okay. Sydney is staying with me and my family tonight while her parents are out of town. I'll help walk her home." The school nurse then said, "Well, okay. But make sure when you come back to school on Monday you bring your contact and health forms, okay?" As Sydney and Alisha both stood up, Sydney said, "Yes m'am."
Sydney and Alisha were both walking down the sidewalk together as Sydney said, "Thanks for helping me get out of there. I guess it was stupid to come to track without the right forms." Then a curious Alisha said, "So are your parents not around or at home right now?" Then Sydney said, "Well... my dad is... elsewhere right now. And my mom... she died when I was little." A sympathetic Alisha then said, "Oh. I'm sorry. My dad died when I was little. Now it's just me and my mother. Still think about my dad often though. Do you still miss your mom?" Sydney sighed and said, "Every day." Then Alisha held Sydney's hand, squeezed it, and then said, "Well hey. If your dad isn't home, you can definitely hang out at my place. My mom works at a law firm and always comes home late. You can take a shower in my bathroom if you want to." Sydney briefly smelled her arm pits and said, "Yeah. I probably should."
Sydney and Alisha walked into a large bathroom as Sydney said, "Whoa! Your bathroom and shower are huge." Alisha smiled as she said, "Yeah. Perks of my mom being a big shot lawyer. Still, it gets lonely having to shower alone in such a big shower area. But today I don't have to. Come on." Alisha then began to take off her clothes, as Sydney followed. Then as Sydney began to take her underwear off and began to show her full nude body, Alisha smirked and said, "Dang Sydney. You have the body of one really beautiful woman." Sydney smiled as she said, "Thanks mo... I mean, Alisha. That means a lot." A naked Sydney and Alisha then stepped in the shower. As the two girls began to get wet, Alisha grabbed some shampoo and began to get it into Sydney's hair as she said, "Here you go girl. I got you." Sydney smiled as she said, "Thanks Alisha. The last time I had someone help wash my hair was... my mom when I was little." As Alisha began to help Sydney wash her hair, she said, "So Sydney, tell me... is there anyone special in your life right now? You know... someone... special?" Sydney sighed and said, "Well... me and my long time best friend Harry tried becoming a thing at one point, but... we decided we needed to take a break. Things just... weren't feeling right." Then as Alisha helped finish Sydney's hair get washed, she said, "So... do you think you wanna get back together again... or try being with someone new?" Sydney looked down as she said, "I don't know. I mean... I guess I'd be willing to give being with someone new a shot."
Then Alisha turned Sydney around and with a smirk, she said, "Well... how about me?" A suddenly confused looking Sydney said, "What?" With desperation in her face, Alisha said, "Look Sydney, I know we just met but... I think you're just so freaking hot!" Then Alisha suddenly sprung forward and kissed Sydney on the lips. Sydney remained still in shock as her arms spread out. Meanwhile Alisha pushed Sydney against the shower wall while putting her hands on Sydney's butt, while continuing to kiss her. Sydney remained completely still, but then as Alisha began to move one hand between the top of Sydney's legs, that's when Sydney suddenly began to move. A very freaked out looking Sydney then pushed Alisha away and said, "NO!" Alisha backed away looking freaked out as she said, "Oh my God. Sydney, I'm so sorry. It's just... I thought..." Sydney then immediately stepped out of the shower and began to dry herself with a towel as she said, "I'm sorry Alisha, but... this can't happen. It should never happen." Then as Sydney began to put her underwear and clothes on, a naked Alisha stepped out of the shower as she said, "Sydney, please. Listen..." Then as Sydney got the last of her clothes on she said, "Nope. It's better if I... if I just go." Then Sydney quickly ran out of the bathroom, as a very sad looking Alisha covered her face with her hands.
Sydney was walking down a sidewalk through the park briskly as she said, "Oh God. That was wrong. So wrong. I don't care if that was a young doppelganger of my mother in a different universe. That was just so wrong. I mean... eww. Just... eww!" Then Sydney noticed two figures on a bench far away. A curious Sydney then slowly approached them as she said, "Wait. Is that... is that who I think it is?" Then as Sydney moved in closer, she saw nearby on the bench was Max sitting next to another boy his age... and he was kissing him." A freaked out looking Sydney then said, "Max!?" Max stopped kissing the boy he was with, turned his head to see Sydney, and then said, "Oh no." Sydney then turned around and ran away, while a sad looking Max covered his face with his hands.
Sydney sat on another bench in the park looking very freaked out as she said to herself, "Now just calm down Sydney. You're only in a universe where you mom has a thing for you along with maybe girls in general, and your dad has a thing for other boys. It's okay. It's okay. No, it's not okay. It's messed up and weird, and why did I have to see what I saw and felt what I felt, and... Uggh!" Then Sydney heard Max say, "Hey Sydney." Sydney turned her head and saw Max running up to her. Max then sat down next to Sydney and said, "Listen Sydney... about what you saw... can you please not tell anyone... especially Alisha?" Sydney looked slightly surprised as she said, "Look Max, you're allowed to like who you like, but... why do you want to keep this a secret from your best friend?" Max looking ashamed said, "I... I just... look, don't tell her okay?" Max then got up and ran away like he was about to cry.
Then Sydney heard Alisha's voice say, "Sydney!" Sydney then saw Alisha running towards her, as Sydney whispered to herself, "God, my parents are too good at finding me in the park in any universe." Then Alisha sat down next to Sydney looking very nervous and upset as she said, "Listen Sydney, I need to explain myself." Sydney looking nervous and awkward now said, "I don't know if I want to hear that." Then Alisha grabbed Sydney's hand and said, "No... please. Listen Sydney. I... I had never done what I did with you before with any girl. It's just... I've been having fantasies and dreams lately of kissing girls, and doing... you know, other special stuff with them, and... when I saw you there naked with me in the shower, and it felt like we were really connecting: I just... I just gave into basic instincts and went for it." Then a curious Sydney said, "Alisha... how long have you felt this way?"
Alisha sighed and said, "For years now. I mean I've liked guys before, but... I also have been attracted to girls too. It's so confusing. I've never said this out loud to anyone before." Then a surprised looking Sydney said, "You haven't told Max this before either?" Alisha looking ashamed turned her head, and then said, "I can't. I just can't because... I think I like Max... but I'm also attracted to girls too. It feels so confusing. And I feel like if I share these confusing thoughts with Max, he'll... he'll..." With a look of clarity on her face, Sydney said, "You think he'd be weirded out and you'd lose ANY chance of potentially exploring your feelings with him." With a look of shame, Alisha nodded her head. Sydney then squeezed Alisha's hand and said, "Alisha... if Max is really your best friend... he'll continue being your friend no matter what you tell him... as long as you tell him the truth."
At an outdoor cafe Alisha was sitting at a table, as Max approached her. Max sat down as he said, "So... you said you wanted to talk?" Alisha nodded her head and said, "Yes Max. Listen. I need to get some things out of my head. You see I was talking to Sydney, and..." A nervous looking Max then said, "No, let me explain everything I have to say first Alisha. Please. Listen... I... for awhile now, I... I've been having dreams at night where I... I'm... kissing and being very intimate with... other guys." Alisha's eyes widened as she said, "Oh." Max still looking nervous said, "And I kept feeling guilty about it, but I also sort of liked it. So I was hanging out at the park with Trevor who we all know is proud about being gay. So when he said I looked cute, and I admitted I had a little crush on him, he moved in, and I... I kissed him. But... I felt really confused, because... he's not my best friend, and the thing is... I also have been having feelings... for you." Alisha looked down for a moment, and then looked at Max as she said, "Max... I've felt attracted to other girls most of my life." Max looked surprised as he said, "You have?" Alisha nodded her head and said, "Yeah. I didn't say anything because I thought you'd find that really weird." Then Max looking slightly relieved said, "I didn't wanna tell you I like guys, because I thought you'd find that really weird."
Alisha made a little smirk as she said, "Well... at least we can be weird together now. So... how long have you liked... guys?" Max looked down as he said, "It really was just dreams. But then... you know... I went on the internet and looked up stuff about guys on guys and... you can guess what happened." Alisha looked down too as she said, "Yeah. I've... watched maybe one too many videos of girls making out with girls in bed." Max then looked at Alisha as he said, "The thing is... when Trevor let me kiss him recently, I thought I'd feel some excitement, like the guys in the videos I watched did." Alisha nodded her head and said, "Yeah. I did something like that with another girl recently too." Then Max looked down again as he said, "But... I felt nothing." Alisha looked away as she said, "Yeah... it didn't feel right. But... I still like girls. I mean... I still find myself having fantasies of other girls while checking out pictures of them online." Max smirked briefly and said, "Same. I've had fantasies about other guys, but... I've also had little fantasies about you too." Then Alisha smirked too and said, "Well... I may have had a fantasy or two of you after we went swimming together last summer."
Then Max looking more relieved now said, "Same. But... I just feel so confused at times Alisha. I don't know if I'm supposed to try out dating some guy out there, or if I wanna date you. I mean... I have these feelings and these... urges for other boys I've seen." Alisha nodded her head and said, "I know. I feel like since I've felt a lot of attractions and desires for girls, that should mean something. But... I don't wanna lose you Max." Max then held Alisha's hand and said, "Look... how about we take everything slow. Lets first just be best friends that are completely honest about how we feel now. Then if you wanna date a girl, and I wanna date a guy, we do that. But if we feel like we wanna date each other... we'll do that. But if dating each other doesn't work out, or doesn't feel right... we promise to still be best friends. Because no matter how confused or messed up I feel, I never want to lose you from my life." Alisha squeezed Max's hand and said, "I feel the same way Max." Then Alisha scooted her chair towards Max and gave him a big hug.
Then from nearby at a faraway table, Sydney sat and smiled as she watched the conversation between Max and Alisha. Sydney then got up, and prepared to walk away. Then Alisha noticed Sydney out of the corner of her eye and ran over to her while saying, "Sydney, wait!" Sydney turned to look at Alisha as she said, "Yeah?" Alisha looking more happy now said, 'Thanks... for pushing me to open up to Max. I don't know what's going to happen to us, but... I think today is going to be the start of something special." Sydney smiled back as she said, "Well... I've got a good feeling about you two." Alisha then with a bigger smile said, "Well, I've got a good feeling about how your life is gonna turn out Sydney. You are way wise for someone your age. If your mom was still alive, I'm sure she'd tell you how proud she is of the amazing young woman you've become." Sydney then began to cry happy tears, as she hugged Alisha and said, "Thank you." Alisha hugged Sydney back as she said, "You're welcome. Again, thank you for everything. If I have a daughter one day, I am so naming her after you." Then as the hug ended, Sydney said, "Thanks. Well... I have to go." A curious Alisha then said, "Will I ever see you again?" Sydney made a little grin as she said, "We'll see..." Alisha then waved as she walked back over to Max. Meanwhile as Sydney walked away, she suddenly found herself disappearing into a bright blue light.
In a bright blue flash, Sydney found herself appearing in a new place. Her first realization was that she was in what seemed to be a school bathroom. As she glared at her reflection on the mirror: shock invaded her face at the sight of the black and blue school uniform she was wearing, and she said, "OH, COME ON! UNIFORMS!? REALLY? Great, where did I get sent this time…" Sydney then tried to leave the bathroom, but as she did she suddenly felt the door accidentally hit something, heard a scream, and the distinct sound of a body hitting the floor. As Sydney went out of the hall, she saw a girl with very dark black hair in two long braids and a black uniform to match hers slowly getting up. Sydney then quickly tried to help the girl up as she said, "I'm sorry… I really am..." The girl with the black hair then looked at Sydney with a cold glare and deadpan face as she said, "It was my fault. I should have been here a minute ago, but my roommate delayed me." A confused looking Sydney then said, "Oh. Okay. Well anyway, I'm..." The girl with black hair and braids said, "I know who you are. I was made aware of your arrival before it occurred. Follow me, I know whom you are here to meet." A more confused looking Sydney then said, "Wait… how..." The girl with the black hair in two braids then looked at Sydney right in the eyes and with more conviction, she said, "My name is Wednesday Addams, and you have arrived at Nevermore Academy. Now if you wish to save your friend Olive, you will come with me now Sydney Reynolds."
