Based on the TV Series: Wednesday, Created by: Alfred Gough and Miles Millar

In a bright blue flash, Sydney found herself appearing in a new place. Her first realization was that she was in what seemed to be a school bathroom. As she glared at her reflection in the mirror: shock invaded her face at the fight of the black and blue school uniform she was wearing.

-OH, COME ON! UNIFORMS!? REALLY? Great, where did I get sent this time…

Sydney then tried to leave the bathroom, but as she did she suddenly felt the door accidentally hit something, heard a scream, and the distinct sound of a body hitting the floor. As she went out the hall she saw a girl with very dark black hair in two long braids and a black uniform to match her slowly getting up. Sydney then quickly tried to help the girl up.

-I'm sorry… I really am...

The girl with the black hair then looked at Sydney with a cold glare and deadpan face as she spoke.

-It was my fault. I should have been here a minute ago, but my roommate delayed me.

-Oh. Okay. Well anyway, I'm...

-I know who you are. I was made aware of your arrival before it occurred. Follow me, I know whom you are here to meet.

-Wait… how...

The girl with the black hair in two braids then looked at Sydney right in the eyes and spoke with more conviction now.

-My name is Wednesday Addams, and you have arrived at Nevermore Academy. Now if you wish to save your friend Olive, you will come with me now Sydney Reynolds.

The teenage girl: Wednesday began to walk away as a confused Sydney followed her while speaking.

-What!? What are you talking about!?

-I had a vision. You're a traveler. Not THE traveler, but a traveler nonetheless.

-So you know how I can get back home?

Wednesday, who until then was walking before her, turned and again Sydney was met with her cold glare.

-As much as I know of the mystic arts, I do not know how to get you back to your point of origin. If I were to know, I'm certain I would be forbidden to tell you under penalty of unmentionable torments… which I would personally find immensely pleasurable.

-O… okay…

-We must hurry. Your friend awaits…

Sydney glared at the girl who was walking fast before her. She tried to understand why she had a black uniform while everyone else had a black and blue one. Also, why was she so cold when talking. It was scary.

-Again, how did you know I was coming?

Wednesday stopped and Sydney had to keep her balance in an attempt not to crash against the gothic teenager who also turned and posed her cold glare on her.

-Here is not the place to discuss that. We need to hurry, I don't know how this power of yours works... yet. Your time here might be limited.

-No, as far as I know, I won't leave until whatever it is that I need to fix is fixed.

The gothic girl turned and resumed her walk until they reached a statue in a silent hallway. Wednesday snapped her fingers twice and the huge figure moved, revealing a staircase, the goth girl made her way inside with Sydney following her closely.

-This place is scary - Sydney said

-I know. It's quite serene isn't it?

Moments later, Sydney and Wednesday arrived in a huge room surrounded by bookcases.

-So… why are we here? - Sydney asked

Wednesday turned, and the brunette screamed and fell back as a body-less hand jumped on the goth girl's shoulder. But if that was scary, the smile on the goth girl's face was even more.

-W… what… what is that…

-This is Thing. A member of my family visiting me while he's in town this week. - Wednesday coldly replied

-B… bu… but it's just a… a… hand…

-I don't have time to explain. Let us in.

The hand jumped from the goth girl's shoulder and began to crawl towards the brunette.

-NOW!

In what seemed to be fear, the hand crawled and then jumped to a nearby bookcase, after moving through several books, two of the fingers pulled a purple one and with an eerie sound the bookcase moved, and a door was revealed.

-Come. She's in here.

Still trembling, Sydney got up and followed the goth girl. Soon there was a room illuminated by lamps and candles. In a corner there was a bed. A barely visible figure laid in the bed, while sitting next to her was a blond girl with blue and pink shades in her hair. The girl then turned around and looked at Wednesday and Sydney with excitement.

-YOU FOUND HER!

She ran to them as she spoke directly to Sydney.

-Hi there. I'm Enid! You must be Sydney! And I'm Wednesday's...

Wednesday with a look of worry in her face quickly interrupted Enid.

-Pleasantries and back-stories can wait. We have more important matters.

The goth girl continued her way to the bed. As she approached: Sydney's eyes opened wide as she saw, laying in the bed, with her head bandaged was none other than... Olive Rozalski. Sydney then immediately ran to her side.

-OLIVE! Oh my God… what happened to you?

Wednesday that sat near Olive as she spoke to Sydney.

-As me and Enid were in the forest... exploring important matters in our life... a portal in the sky opened and your friend crashed came crashing down and hurt herself. When I touched her, I had a vision that showed me your arrival. We also found this.

Wednesday handed her what seemed to be a tablet and a headset that Sydney recognized perfectly. Shocked, she began to tremble.

-C… Cyber Olive? Wh… why?

Suddenly the injured Olive began to move. Enid ran to her and placed a wet cloth on her forehead.

-It's OK… we're here… we're friends

Olive opened her eyes slowly.

-W… where… am I?

Sydney pushed the other girl aside.

-Olive, it's me. Sydney Prime. Are you okay?

-You're at Nevermore academy, and you arrived in some form of portal. - said Wednesday

Slowly, Olive sat up and looked at her surroundings

-N… nevermore? And why are you calling me Olive…

Sydney gasped

-She has amnesia. Probably from her wounds. - Wednesday said looking at her

-We're… we're trapped here… she… she's the one… oh God…

Wednesday turned and glared at the brunette.

-You're suffering a panic attack. You need to control yourself.

Sydney however began to shake as she felt a pain in her chest.

-Trapped… I'll never go back home… I'll…

The goth girl glared as the brunette suddenly passed out fell back on Enid's arms, as Enid smiled.

-That was me that made her pass out. See? I've been learning from you Wednesday.

-Pressure points are dangerous Enid. You can kill someone if not careful.

A confused Olive then spoke up.

-Uh… excuse me… I still can't remember who I am and why I am in this academy of yours.

-Do you recognize this? - the goth girl said, showing her the tablet and the headset

Olive took the devices in her hands and glared at them. Suddenly she felt a strong headache. Enid ran to her.

-Relax, it's OK…

Still with her eyes closed, Olive began to talk

-Olan… anomaly… get… Sydney…

Suddenly to the surprise of Enid, Wednesday approached and made Olive drink a blue liquid from a vial.

-T… thank you… I'm feeling better…

-It's an analgesic. A fast acting one. My own recipe.

Enid giggled

-She made it after that night the two of us decided to...

-Enid. No more information than necessary please.

-Sorry.

Later that day, Enid was sitting in the room next to Olive who was glaring intently at Sydney who was still unconscious in a nearby couch. Enid then sat besides Olive on the bed.

-Remembered something more?

-No… Well… yes… it's just… there's something about that girl Sydney there that… makes my heart feel warm… but at the same time… it's… it's as if it's not her… it's so confusing…

Enid smiled as she scooted closer to Olive.

-You'll remember…

Wednesday meanwhile was sitting in the school library, with several books before her. One of them that talked about reality and multiverses caught her eye. She began to read it aloud.

-"If two or more individuals travel to a dimension where there's not a counterpart for them, it will cause individuals from other dimensions to follow, and eventually a catastrophe of apocalyptic proportions will occur."

Wednesday began to understand the peril of the situation as she had never seen a girl like Sydney around Nevermore at all, nor one like Olive. Then Wednesday began to do further reading, as she read more pages about the mystical properties of the multiverse. Her thoughts were cut short when Enid arrived.

-You are to be tending to Olive and Sydney. Why are you here?

-Well I think Olive is starting to get her memories back, and I wanted to give her and Sydney some time to talk with another once Sydney woke up.

-Well then if Olive's memories are coming back, we have to speak to her now.

Olive was resting on the floor of the room she was in. She had her eyes closed briefly, but then decided to reach out and grab the electronic tablet she had been found with. Olive began playing with the tablet, and as she placed her finger on the side; the screen came up and a voice was heard.

"User identified correctly. Anomaly analysis complete: Time for dimension fusion: Minus 47 hours, 32 minutes, 15 seconds"

-What…. How…

At that moment, Sydney began to wake up

-What… happened…

-Sydney, you're awake.

The brunette checked her surroundings and she remembered everything, she ran to Olive.

-Cyber Olive, have you remembered?

-Well... most of my memories have returned now. Although I feel like there's one important thing I'm not remembering. Although when I touched this device of mine, it activated…

Sydney took the tablet in her hands and saw the message, as she tried to use it the device locked itself again.

"Unknown user, access denied"

-OH COME ON! Wait, where are Enid and Wednesday? - she asked

-Enid went to look for Wednesday; said we should stay here and...

-I need to go look for them, we need to solve this mess…

-But they wanted us to stay here…

Then a rumble and stuff falling around scared them both.

-What… happened? - Olive asked

-Something is definitely not right, I have to find Wednesday…

Then Sydney got up and left the room.

In the library, the black haired teenager also felt the shaking.

-It's starting. From what I learned in my studies: Sydney and Olive are from a world too different than our own, especially since they have no proper counterparts here. If we don't return them to their world, devastation shall befall our reality. We need to get Sydney's jade stone at once.

-Wait, why? - Enid asked following her best friend

Meanwhile, as Sydney walked to the main hallway, she became shocked as part of it looked like her high school. More so, walking out of a classroom, she saw Emmy, who seemed scared by something.

-What… EMMY!?

Then another violent shake and things reverted to normal

-What's going on here…

Across Nevermore: Wednesday fell to the floor when Emmy suddenly appeared wearing jeans and a pink blouse, and crashed against her. Enid, who was trying to keep up with Wednesday, ended on top of the other two.

-Enid as much as would love a death by suffocation, this is not the time. GET OFF!

Meanwhile, Emmy was also upset.

-CAN YOU TWO GET OFF ME!?

As they all stood up, Emmy glared at the other two. It was then when Wednesday realized they were not at Nevermore, as Emmy spoke to them.

-OK, who are you two, and why are you dressed like that?

-My named is Enid and...

-DON'T SAY ANOTHER WORD ENID! You, no matter what your name is, run away. You never saw us.

-I'm Emmy, and what's going...

But another violent shake made them fall back to the floor, Wednesday heard a scream as she felt her body fell on someone's leg. Wednesday closed her eyes as several pieces of rock fell on her, upon opening them she realized they were back at Nevermore.

-This is getting worse. The two dimensions have started to merge and...

She could not finish. When she turned, she saw the other girl, Emmy, wearing Enid's clothes.

-What? - Emmy said

-Don't move from here. I'll be right back. Don't talk to anybody, either.

Back in the room, Olive was growing scared as pieces of the ceiling began to fall along with other stuff in the room every time the floor shook.

-Sydney, please come back… I need you…

She couldn't say another word nor walk another step. As the floor shook again: the blond girl couldn't keep her balance; and as she fell: her head hit the steel post of the bed rendering her unconscious. Meanwhile, Wednesday walked as fast as she could. As she reached the room she saw Olive on the floor, she knelt beside her.

-Wake up. Are you dead now?

Olive slowly opened her eyes as she looked at Wednesday.

-No. Just asleep again. I'm still at Nevermore Academy right? Wait. Where's Sydney?

-So you have recovered your memory. It would seem Sydney is already outside. I've done studies in the dark arts at my school library, and I believe I have found a way to get you home. Are you ready?

-Yes! Yes, I wanna get back home. But how?

-I have learned from my studies that my pendant and Sydney's jade stone are connected somehow.

-The pendant… OH MY GOD! THE PENDANTS! I remember everything now! Where's Sydney? Have you found her?

-I assumed you knew. Although I told her to stay here. I see she has a problem following instructions.

As Olive gathered her stuff she realized something.

-Wait, where's my belt bag?

-What?

-My belt bag! I had things there, and another jade stone that we need to get me and Sydney back to our universe!

-Come. We'll find Sydney and we'll go back to the forest.

-Forest?

-Where Enid and I found you. It's the only place where you can properly be sent to where you came.

At that same time: Sydney was lost in the halls of Nevermore, when suddenly she heard a very familiar voice

-SYDNEY?

-EMMY?

-Sydney what's going on? I was in school and a second later I was here wearing this weird uniform!

-Oh no…

At that same moment, Wednesday and Olive arrived.

-OLIVE! YOU'RE HERE TOO!

The blonde girl was shocked

-Oh no… this is getting worse… ok, ahm, Emmy, right? You please stay here and try not to talk to anybody… Sydney, we need to get to the forest where I first appeared here. Um... Wednesday, where is that?

-Not too far, let's go.

Leaving Emmy, both the brunette and the blonde girl ran out to the forest. As they ran, they fell to the ground as the ground below them shook violently.

-WE HAVE TO HURRY! - Olive yelled

It took them a couple of more minutes to get to the area of the forest where Olive arrived. The three teenagers began a frantic search as Olive spoke.

-Okay. I know the bag was with me when I fell through that portal. We just have to find it.

Suddenly Sydney saw some marks on a tree and looked up.

-Oh no…

-What? Did you find it? - Olive asked

As she looked up, she realized the problem... her belt bag was high on a branch

-I'll go get it… - Sydney said

-NO! It's too dangerous! - Olive said

-You need it so we can get out of this mess and keep our worlds apart, right?

-Yeah…

Without another word, Sydney began to climb. It took her several minutes to reach the branch where the bag was. Slowly she began to crawl to get it. Below, Olive and Wednesday looked up.

-We must make this work, and get Enid back.

-What?

-Another peer from your reality is here now, and Enid is missing. We must bring her back.

-Look, as soon as Sydney and I go back, she'll be back.

Wednesday looked at Olive with a menacing glare.

-Fail, and I'll never stop searching for you, and my vengeance will be slow and painful.

-GOT IT! - Sydney screamed as she reached the bag but at that precise moment the ground shook, and the brunette ended up hanging from the branch. The bag hit the ground, but now Sydney was hanging by the tree.

-HELP ME!

-Sydney, hang on!

Olive desperately searched in her bag. It took her several seconds to produce a greenish jade stone, and her attention turned to her tablet.

-Ok ok ok… Wednesday I need you to concentrate and activate the power in your pendant…

Without a word, Wednesday closed her eyes and grabbed her pendant. At the same time, Olive place her jade stone in a socket behind her tablet.

-OLIVE HELP ME! I CAN'T HOLD ON!

-Hang on Sydney… just a minute more…

Then, as the brunette found herself falling down, a huge burst of blue light covered everything and everyone... and then Sydney disappeared.

In the void, Sydney woke up coughing with leaves and pieces of branch all over her.

-Oww…

-Thank goddess Sydney Prime. That was scary.

Sydney turned and saw the image of Cyber Olive on a screen near her. Very upset, Sydney got up.

-YOU THINK? I FELL TO MY DEATH FROM THAT TREE!

-Look, I'm really sorry, but these are the risks of going and jumping around between universes, there's a lot we don't know yet.

-ARE YOU SAYING I'M ALSO YOUR GUINEA PIG!?

-No, no, no, no, just that this happens, and I'm really sorry…

-Can you please send me home already?

-I... I'm sorry. I still can't. I tried to help you more directly this time by sending my own body to a world I detected you were going to visit. But when I attempted to... everything went crazy with the multiverse, and... well... you're just gonna have to keep traveling to more new worlds like you have been until the jade stone sends you home.

Sydney began to look upset as she glared at Cyber Olive.

-Oh come on! When will I go home!?

Cyber Olive took a deep breath, and then looked at Sydney with kind eyes.

-I know this is all hard for you Sydney Prime. I really do. But just know... I'm gonna be here to help you through the journey. You're not alone. I'm gonna support you just as much as my Sydney was supportive to me. On that, I swear.

Sydney looked down, sighed, and then looked up at Cyber Olive.

-I know you're trying Cyber Olive. And... thank you for being there for me.

-You're welcome Sydney... Prime...

Then suddenly a bright blue light surrounded Sydney and she immediately disappeared.

Meanwhile at the gates to Nevermore Academy, Wednesday Addams was running as fast as she could into the school. Then upon entering the building, there she saw Enid smiling at her. Without a thought, Wednesday ran and hugged her. Enid smiled as she hugged Wednesday back. After a long hug, Enid looked at Wednesday as she spoke.

-So... are Sydney and Olive...

-Gone. Back to the world from which they came. Back to living their lives.

Then Enid looked into Wednesday's eyes as she smiled.

-And now back to living ours...

In a blue flash, Sydney appeared inside of a shower with warm water running. As Sydney felt the warm water hit her naked body, she made a little smile.

-Well... at least I get a comfortable landing in a new world for once.

Sydney then spent a minute washing her hair and enjoying the warm shower. Soon Sydney stepped out of the shower into a bathroom. Sydney began to dry her wet body off, while suddenly she heard the sounds of two teenage girls complaining outside the door.

-That's my outfit. You just can't grab dresses that aren't yours.

-You weren't gonna wear it to begin with Valicity, so it doesn't matter.

As Sydney put on a nearby bath robe, she felt confused as she spoke to herself.

-What's going on? Do I have a bunch of sisters on this world?

Then suddenly Sydney heard a knock on the bathroom door, as a familiar male voice spoke to her.

-Syd. It's Harry. Our girls need you to solve another outfit dispute.

Sydney suddenly had a freaked out look on her face.

-Our girls?

Then Sydney approached the fogged up bathroom mirror, as she heard Harry on the other side of the door talking to the other voices she heard.

-Girls, this complaining has to stop. The last thing your mother needs to hear is you two bickering on her 40th birthday.

Then Sydney wiped away the condensation on the bathroom mirror, and saw her reflection in the mirror... only she was much older. Sydney then backed up with a freaked out look on her face.

-I'm forty!?
