In a blue flash: Sydney appeared in a cemetery. As Sydney looked at herself and her surroundings, she said, "Well at least I'm my normal age again, and... apparently I'm in a cemetery. Okay, that's not creepy at all." Then as Sydney looked around the cemetery, she said, "Whoa. This place is exactly like the cemetery on my world." Then Sydney saw a grave stone with a large branch in front of it. Sydney upon looking at the grave stone said, "That's mom's grave. Uggh. Don't the grounds keepers keep this place neat. Let me get rid of that branch." Sydney then moved the branch out of the way, but upon looking at the grave stone: Sydney's eyes widened. On the grave stone: Sydney didn't see the name of her mother. Instead, Sydney saw the words: RIP - Sydney Reynolds: August 21st, 2007 - July 8th, 2020. Sydney backed up looking freaked out as she said, "What... what is going on here?"

As Sydney began to walk away she said, "This can't be real. I mean... I knew there were worlds out there where I didn't exist, but... a world where I died?" Then suddenly Sydney heard a loud shriek. Sydney turned her head and saw Emmy standing several meters from her at the entrance to the cemetery looking scared out of her mind. Sydney then stepped towards Emmy as she said, "Emmy, listen. I..." Then Emmy backed away looked panicked as she said, "No! You died! Either I'm seeing ghosts or I'm going crazy!" Then suddenly Sydney's jade stone on her necklace glowed, and then suddenly a holographic image of Cyber Olive appeared from it. Cyber Olive instantly looked at Sydney as she said, "Sydney Prime! Listen, there's something you gotta know about this world! This is the first world in the multiverse you've been to where your doppelganger was once alive but is now deceased." Then Emmy upon seeing Cyber Olive's appearance looked even more freaked out as she said, "Ah! Olive! Where did you come from!?" Cyber Olive then turned to look at Emmy, and then looked upset with herself as she said, "Oh sugar. I can't believe I forgot to check the surrounding area before projecting myself."

Emmy then began to look slightly less afraid as she cautiously approached Sydney and Cyber Olive. Emmy then tried to touch the projection of Cyber Olive; only for her hand to go through it. Emmy then backed away as she took a moment to look at Cyber Olive carefully, and then Sydney. Emmy then took a deep breath as she looked directly at Sydney and said, "You... you're from another universe aren't you. This is a whole multiverse sort of thing going on isn't it?" A surprised looking Sydney then said, "Well... yeah. How did you figure that out so fast?" Emmy with a practical tone to her voice said, "I saw Spider-man: No Way Home, and that Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness movie. The concept is pretty commonly understood now." A confused Sydney then said, "Huh? I never heard of those Marvel movies." Cyber Olive then said, "Well, you are on a world that's slightly ahead in time than yours." Emmy nodded her head and said, "That's obvious. I mean... you look just like Sydney did... the Sydney I knew... before she died." Sydney looking a bit nervous, then took a step forward as she said, "What happened to the Sydney of this world?"

Sydney and Emmy sat together on a park bench as Cyber Olive stood behind them. Emmy then brought up a news article on her phone and handed it to Sydney. Sydney's eyes widened as she looked at the news article, while Emmy said, "It was during the summer. You and your dad... you got into a bad car accident... and both died before you could've gotten to the hospital." Sydney looked shocked as she said, "No. Dad... Wait! What about grandma? Did she..." Emmy then said, "Oh, don't worry. She's still alive. She actually moved forward from the event pretty well. She used all of the money from your college fund and your dad's savings to start a scholarship for people majoring in music. She even started a non-profit to give musical instruments to kids that couldn't afford it, and named the non-profit after you. It got tons of positive news coverage. Here. Let me pull up that article." Emmy then changed her phone's screen to a different news article. Sydney looked a bit impressed as she said, "Wow. I... never thought I'd have something so cool named after me. It's just weird that I had to die to make it happen."

The Emmy changed her phone's screen to another article as she said, "Oh. And your grandmother pushed for a record label to release your handful of songs you recorded before you died. They became so popular. Ricky Angelo even sang a cover of one of them." Then Sydney put the phone down and said, "Emmy... this is just insane. I get your Sydney is dead, but... I'm not. All of this feels so..." Then Cyber Olive spoke up and said, "It must feel weird to have your own mortality being hung up in front of you." Sydney then immediately said, "Yes! I mean... I know life is precious, but... to know it really could end at any time... it's a lot to deal with. Uggh. Just... Cyber Olive, what am I here to do?" Cyber Olive then said, "I... I'm not sure. But I know you being sent to a world where your doppelganger was taken from her friends has to mean something. I'm gonna try to do some more digging, and see if I can give you a better answer though." Then in a flash: Cyber Olive disappeared.

Then Emmy got some sunglasses out of her pocket and handed them to Sydney as she said, "Here. Wear these. We'll find you a hotel to stay at and keep you out of sight. I might be able to handle seeing you again, but I don't know if anyone else can." A confused Sydney then said, "Wait. Since when can you afford a hotel room Emmy?" Emmy then said, "Oh. I guess you can't tell. I did stop growing at fourteen. I'm nineteen now and have a paid internship I'm at. I can afford my own place and everything." Then a confused Sydney said, "Well then why can't we stay at your place?" Then a concerned looking Emmy said, "Well... um... uggh. She won't be home for another couple of hours. I might as well show you."

Sydney stepped into an apartment bedroom, and saw at a desk: were several framed pictures of herself and Olive together. As Emmy followed her into the room, Sydney looked carefully at the pictures. Emmy sighed and said, "You see, Olive is my room-mate, and... I think it would drive her insane if she saw you. Especially since... she took your death the hardest." A saddened looking Sydney then said, "What do you mean" Emmy looked down with a slightly upset look as she said, "After you died... Olive became distant with everyone. I mean... you were her best friend. She spent more time with you than her own family. And then when her parents divorced shortly after your death, I think she just cracked. She was in a dark place and turned to all sorts of bad sources for escape and pleasure. But... she finally got to a better place eventually." Then as Sydney held up one of the photos of herself and Olive, she said, "But she still keeps tons of photos of us around her bedroom?"

Emmy looked a bit sad as she said, "Olive... she... she still never stops missing you. It feels like every week, at least once: she mentions a memory of you, or says how she believes you'd react to a situation. It's like... you dying left a hole in her hear that can never be filled... and she won't let anything or anyone fill it." Sydney then sat down at the desk as she said, "I... I always thought Olive was the stronger one of us. I... I had no idea that if I just disappeared one day; that Olive would just fall apart." Emmy then put a hand on Sydney's shoulder as she said, "Hey. I, um... I'm gonna take a shower and give you some space for a bit. Olive shouldn't be home for a few more hours, so we should be fine till then." Emmy then walked over to the nearby bathroom, while Sydney just looked at the photos before her and sighed.

Then from the front door to the apartment, suddenly Olive walked in and said, "Hey Emmy. My afternoon class was cancelled today." Then as Olive heard the sound of the shower on in the bathroom, she said, "Hmm. I think I'll surprise her." Then Olive took off her clothes, and put on a bath robe she had nearby. Olive kept her bath robe open though, so her lacy black see through underwear could be seen. Then an excited Olive began to step around the corner into the bedroom as she said, "Hey babe. You in the shower yet?" Then Sydney upon seeing Olive in her revealing underwear, looked freaked out as she yelled, "Ahhh!" Then Olive upon seeing Sydney, looked very freaked out as she yelled, "Aaaahhhh!" Then Olive immediately fainted and hit the ground.

Some time later Olive began to slowly awaken as she wore her bath robe (now tied up) in bed. As Olive slowly opened her eyes, she saw Sydney and Emmy sitting in chairs nearby as they talked to one another. An upset Sydney looked at Emmy as she said, "I thought you said she wouldn't be home for a couple of more hours! And why was she stepping around the door expecting to make sexy eyes with someone in here!?" Emmy looking a bit ashamed said, "Well... the truth is... on this world... me and Olive are a couple. I didn't tell you because we haven't come out to everyone yet. We don't know what they'd think; let alone what you would think." Then Sydney said, "Hey. I've traveled to tons of worlds in the multiverse already. I've seen you and Olive as lesbians multiple times now. Heck; on one world - you two were married and had a child." A very intrigued looking Emmy then said, "Oh my gosh! Seriously? Married! With a kid!? What were they like?"

Then Olive began to slowly sit up, and with a groggy voice she said, "Sydney?" Emmy then quickly sat next to Olive as she said, "Olive. I know it looks like her, but this isn't Sydney. Rather, it's the Sydney of another universe. You know; the multiverse. That concept we've seen in all those movies and TV shows. Well, it's real. This is the Sydney from another world!" Olive sighed and said, "Yeah, I know. The multiverse can be real, but people can't come back from the dead though. I get the laws of quantum mechanics." Then Sydney looking a bit nervous said, "Well, Olive... you look great though. I... I'm sorry you had to go through everything you went through. But it looks like you survived it all, because you're strong. Like I always knew." Olive then looking very curious now, said, "Sydney... I always told myself if I could have just one more conversation with you, there's one question I'd ask. But it's personal though. Can I..." Sydney then casually said, "Of course. Whatever you want." Olive took a deep breath and said, "Sydney... the truth is... before you died... I was developing a crush on you. Now the first person I ever told this to was your grandmother after you died. And when I did tell her, your grandmother then told me that just a short time before you died: that you told her that you had a crush on me. But I don't if she was just saying that to make me feel better, or if she really meant it. So... did you ever have a crush on me?" Sydney looked shocked for a second, but then nervously and cautiously said, "Olive, I... I've never had romantic feelings towards you." Olive looked down with disappointment as she said, "Oh."

Then Sydney kept looking at Olive as she said, "But... I've been to many worlds in the multiverse. And on several of them: the Sydney and Olive of those worlds were a couple. In fact on one they got married." Emmy looked down with a bit of sadness in her eyes, while a wide eyed Olive said, "Really?" Sydney nodded her head as she said, "Yeah. So... there's a chance that your Sydney did have a crush on you too." Then Olive made a little smile as she said, "It... it could've actually happened. Me and her..." Then Sydney cut Olive off and said, "But that was the story of those other worlds. Your world Olive... is a different story. You still have so many possibilities ahead of you. So many outcomes can still happen here. You... you can't dwell forever on the past, and what might have been if things went differently. Seriously... as a traveler of the multiverse, you do not want to wrap your head around what if's every day. I know your Sydney meant a lot to you, but... it's time to focus on what could very well happen next on this world." Tears then began to come from Olive's eyes as she said, "It's just... I miss you every day Syd. You were my best friend. My everything. You made me better. And I was torn up inside when I lost you. I love you so much Sydney!" Then Olive immediately hugged Sydney as she cried. Sydney then hugged Olive back, as she said, "I... I love you too Olive. I know it was hard when you lost me. But I can't help you be better anymore. It's time to find someone else that can help you. Let the memory of me remind you what love looks like... and then share that love with those that can love you back now, and then grow in that love with them."

Olive then let go of Sydney, and then looked at Emmy. Olive then took a moment to just look at the loving kindness that was in Emmy's eyes. Then Olive immediately hugged Emmy as she said, "Emmy... I'm sorry I haven't given you the full attention in our relationship that you deserve. You... you have been so kind, so loving, and so patient with me." Emmy made a little smile as she said, "It's okay Olive. You've had a lot to go through. But I'm here and ready to help you start the next step of our journey together." Olive then turned her head as she said, "Thank you Sydney..." But then suddenly in a blue flash: Sydney disappeared. With surprise in her face: Olive said, "She... she's gone." Emmy smirked as she said, "She was wondering what her mission on this world was... but I guess she just fulfilled it." Olive then smiled as she grabbed Emmy's hand and said, "Well... it's probably best she's gone now... because there's something long over-due I've wanted us to do in private for so long." A confused Emmy then said, "What's that?" Then Olive took out of a drawer: a small box. Olive then got down on one knee, opened the small box - and showed a diamond ring. Emmy put her hands on her mouth as she looked incredibly surprised. With a smile, Olive said, "Emmy... I want to create a lifetime of memories with you filled with so many memorable photos that they'll take over all our walls. So will you make that happen... and marry me?" Emmy then began to cry tears of happiness as she said, "Yes Olive. Yes I will." Then Emmy immediately leaped forward and kissed Olive on the lips.

In a blue flash: Sydney suddenly saw herself walking down the streets of New York City. Sydney saw her father Max walking beside her, as a happy looking Max said, "Wow Syd! I can't believe you winning that song competition got us a trip to New York City!" Sydney feeling a bit out of place said, "Umm... yeah. It's pretty cool." Then Max said, "And to think. You get to make a music video with some of the other best contest winners from across the country. This'll be like your trip to summer camp... only I didn't have to pay for it... and I get to come this time." Then Sydney and Max walked into a nearby building, and then walked into a studio. An older woman approached the two and said, "Sydney Reynolds! So glad to meet you. I'm Miss Sharp. Now are you ready to do some fun collaboration with other teens from across the country?" An excited Sydney then said, "Well... that does sound pretty cool." Miss Sharp then led Sydney into another room where other teenagers were sitting, while she said, "I've paired you with a girl that actually lives here in New York. She's a gifted dancer, and I thought you could sing a song that she dances to. Here she is." Then Miss Sharp motioned over to a girl that looked just like Olive. As the girl approached Sydney, a confused Sydney then said, "Olive!?" Then the girl with a confused face said, "Huh? My name isn't Olive. Because I know..." Then the girl began to dance with her arms and a big smile on her face as she said, "I'm A-va Mor-gan-sterrrn!"
