"We had been married for over 20,000 years and suddenly she decides she doesn't love me anymore!? Who does she think she is? Thinking she can toss me aside for some random gold-digging whore. Can't wait for the day she comes crawling back to me telling me what a big mistake she made!"

Cosmo toke another swig out of his wine bottle. The last few gulps making his brain buzz with delight. That pleasure quickly faded however when he looked down to see that the bottle was completely empty. Shit that was his last one.

"Dad, are you… okay?" Cassia hesitantly asked, having just heard his angry rant she knew he wouldn't be a good mood.

"I'm fine! Quit pestering me!" he put the bottle down and got up from his chair, swaying a bit as he was getting up. "I'm going out! Look after your brother!" he then started to lift his wand, getting ready to poof himself to the store. That is, before Cassia quickly spoke up.

"W-wait dad, don't you remember?"

Cosmo lowered his wand. "Remember, what?" his grip tightening around the handle, why couldn't she just leave him alone already? Can't she tell he's having a bad enough day as it is?

"You promised to take Poof and I shopping for new clothes. For the school photos?"

Cosmo sighed. Of course, he did. "Fine, go get your brother quick, so we can get this over with. And I can get my wine…"

She flew out of the lounge and headed straight for her brother's room. She was lucky she had asked when she did, otherwise he probably would have started verbally assaulting her. He hasn't been the same since mum left 1,000 years ago. He spends most of his time now sitting around the house, drinking. He's not the same vibrant man she knew when she was 5,000 years old and she's starting to think that maybe he never will be. She knocked on Poof's door, the door swinging open almost instantly.

"Are we going to get the clothes now!?" Poof asked as he excitedly bobbed in the air. If only she could be half as joyful as he was.

"Yeah, we are, better be quick though. Dad's not in the best of moods"

He didn't need to hear that twice as he flew out of his room, and into the lounge at record speed. She followed shortly behind him. Making sure he didn't accidently break anything on the way. Who knows what their father would say if they broke anything.

"I am so excited! I want to look super cool for the school picture!"

"Ugh! Poof! will you stop shouting!? You're giving me a headache…" Cosmo stated rubbing his temple. Hoping that the pressure will somehow help.

Poof gave a sheepish grin "Whoops, sorry dad. I promise to be super quite from now on, like a mouse"

"Yeah, sure whatever, let's just go" He lifted his wand and the three of them soon found themselves in front of their local Magic & Less. It was a rather large retail store that housed anything from Women's underwear to Baby wear. Cosmo turned to his kids. "Were going straight in and straight out, got it?"

"Understood" they said in unison, as their father lead them into the store.

An hour had passed, and they were still wandering the store's aisles. Cassia had no problem finding an outfit for herself. Having had found a pair of blackish grey skinny jeans and a dark green button up shirt within the first 10 minutes of the trip. Poof on the other hand was finding it much more difficult to deicide. What could he say? There were just so many cool things to choose from.

"Ooo what if I wear a dress for the photos?" Poof remarked, feeling the fabric of a mid-length stripy purple dress. The current aisle they found themselves in was the "Kid's Dresses" aisle which was situated right across from the "Babies Dresses" aisle. God just looking at all the tiny little baby dresses made Cosmo's stomach drop, man he could go for a glass right about now.

"OH, FOR GOD SAKES KID! JUST PICK SOMETHING READY!"

The other parents and their kids turned to look at the shouting man. Some of the kids even hiding behind their parents' legs in fear.

"Dad can you please calm down. You are causing a scene" Cassia pleaded. She knew it wasn't any use. Once he got like this, there wasn't any way to get him out. Not until he got his hands on some wine anyway.

Cosmo sneered, glaring at the other parents. "WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK YOUR LOOKING AT HUH!? YOU THINK YOUR ALL BETTER THAN ME!?"

The other parents left as quickly as possible. Not wanting to engage with the clearly drunk and angry man. It was when Cosmo was surveying the area after everyone had left that he saw her. Or at least part of her. He could recognise that pink swirl anywhere. She was just standing there in the "Babies Dresses" aisle. Why is she in that aisle? Was she stalking him? Has she been stalking him this whole time? Does she regret leaving? The thought left a hopeful spark in his chest.

"Dad? What are you looking-" She couldn't believe her eyes. It's been 1,000 years since she had last saw her mother. Oh, how she yearned to be in her arms again. For it all to go back to what it used be before the divorce, before the lies and the fights. Before. Her mother decided that her family wasn't good enough for her. She wasn't good enough for her.

It didn't take long for Poof to also spot her. But unlike his sister and father who just stared at her in shock. Poof started to run up to her, tears forming in his eyes. Mum finally came back. Now we can be a family again.

"MUM!" he shouted giving her the biggest hug. His mother pushing him off, as a man he didn't notice before was looking at him. Cosmo and Cassia followed Poof into the aisle as soon as they noticed him running off. Cosmo softly cursing to himself. He should have put that kid on a fucking leash.

"FOR FUCK SAKES POOF DON'T RUN OFF LIKE THAT-" he stopped. Staring at the woman who left him. Standing besides the man she had left him for. Juandissimo Magnifico. That smug bastard. Looking down he saw that he was holding a pair of pinkish purple dresses. Why. Then he looked at his stomach. And in that moment, all hope he had of her ever coming back left.

Cassia pulled Poof away from their mother. Comforting him as he kept sobbing, asking why mum doesn't want to hug him anymore. As she held him, stroking his hair, she looked up towards her mother. Her anger starting to boil inside her. How could she push away her own son like that?

"I'm sorry but could you fairies leave? You are making me and husband uncomfortable" Wanda said, acting as if she didn't know the fairies standing in front of her.

"Husband? WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN HUSBAND!?" Cosmo shouted not caring how loud he was being at that moment.

"Estamos casadas y somos felices, there is no explanation needed" Juan said, having hung the dresses back up. Standing there with his baby bump, acting like he's so much better than him. God if he could only punch him.

"Oh I'm sorry Juan but I don't speak Spanish. So, an explanation is needed actually" Glaring daggers into the man.

"It means that he's my husband and we don't have to explain anything to the likes of you" Wanda said defensively. Holding onto her side bitch, now husband apparently!

"Wow, that's fucking rich. Coming from the women who I married like what? Over 20,000 years ago?" a smirk coming to his face as he stated this.

"We don't have time for your petty argument, we actually have things to do today" Wanda said as she and Juandissimo started to leave. Cosmo poofed himself in front of them.

"Oh No, you are NOT leaving that easily! You can't just walk in here after 1,000 years of zero contact with your new pregnant husband and expect me not to have some FUCKING QUESTIONS!"

Wanda and Juandissimo stopped. Juan placing a protective hand on his stomach as Wanda moved herself in front of her husband.

"So, what you just decided you wanted to replace us? Replace me? How far long is he now huh? 2 and a half months?"

"I only just entered the second month, el ayer. The twins are growing very fast"

Cosmo's heart dropped. Twins. He had to lose his baby and this man is having fucking twins!? FUCK WHY DID HE GO HERE. HE COULD HAVE BEEN IN THE LOUNGE BY NOW WATCHING TELEVISION AND DRINKING HIS WINE. DAMN THESE NEEDY KIDS, DAMN THIS ARROGRANT ASSHOLE AND DAMN THAT STUPID PIG HE USED TO CALL A WIFE.

"So, you're having babies with him! but won't take care of your FUCKING KIDS!? I see how it is. It's like no one cares about me anymore! Absolutely no one."

She can't take anymore. How can her parents just stand there, completely ignoring their own children. Leaving their oldest child to comfort her crying brother, when it should their job!?

"WILL YOU GUYS STOP ARGUING!?" All the adult's gazes turned to her. Shocked by the sudden outburst.

"I wanna go home…" was all Poof could muster up as he wiped the tears from his eyes. This was supposed to be simple trip for some nice new clothes. Why does her family have to ruin even the simplest of tasks?

Cosmo silently left the aisle. The kids following closely behind him. He quickly snatched up the purple dress Poof had been eyeing before and placed it on the counter with the grey-black jeans and green button up. He paid the cashier and left.

"Take your brother home Cassia. I'm going to the bar tonight"

Then he poofed off. Leaving Cassia and Poof alone at the Magic & Less parking lot.
