Chapter 1: Calls
The story of a rose over a shallow grave belongs to Wombag1786, this is the sequel to this one. I do not own RWBY and Fallout.
If one word could describe New Vegas, it would be: Heat…and gambling, sluts and whatever you can think of, but there's always something new. Sunday woke up with a sandstorm, nothing serious, except that it had to be cleaned up a bit. In the south near a crashed Vertbird was the Mathews Animal Breeding Farm, which was now a base for a group of raiders dubbed "The Golden Geckos" due to the back tattoo of the animal worn by members. As the storm continued a figure walked towards beech. As he progressed he would see a quest sheet issued by the NCR.
Wanted. Saul Smith.
"The alpha gecko".
Their last location is the remains of a farm south of Novac. Black skin, a gecko tattoo on his back, and wears armor made from the skin of hunted geckos. The group that accompanies him approaches a number of six people in leather armor, with experience in guerrilla battles. Find him and bring him back alive. Atte. Ranger Johnson.
The person would stop on a rock to pull out a red antimatter rifle to put a silencer on it. By accommodating it I would expect them to come out.
A woman would come out to smoke a cigarette, when she lit it she would be shot in the head and would fall to the ground, luckily the sand cushioned her fall. Two were at the door covering their eyes with their hands, one was eliminated, the other would see how his partner fell and was going to give the alert, but had the same end. One was at the top covered in a cloth that protected him, same result. And he saw how two were approaching together with the goal. Seeing the fallen they would run to their base to investigate, leaving the two henchmen behind, the person quickly killed them and reloaded his weapon, only to turn into a bouquet of dirty red roses and head towards the farm. The leader would pull out an SMG pointing at whatever.
"Come out at once and fight like a man!" He said, but he only received a blow to the head, knocking him out.
"And a girl kicked your ass" Said the person, when the storm subsided it was seen that he was wearing the remains of a dirty and cooked red hood, he was wearing a sleeveless trench coat with a white shirt cut off from the sleeves, revealing one of the arms a tattoo of a shovel with a bear skull forming the body and two human skulls forming the side. In the eye slits they were shaped like a heart. , he carried a Pip-Boy, on his chest he wore a bulletproof vest for ammunition and protection, boots, light blue jeans with knee pads, on his head he wore a white hat, His face was that of a 22-year-old Ruby Rose adult years. His hair had grown to reach his shoulders, leaving the red tips touching them. His face had acquired a noticeable tan, but he kept his white skin.
Ruby would put the handcuffs on him that she brought with her and take him by the clothes to take him to where he woke up. There weren't many complications on the road since the Republic of New California annexed Nevada to them and they had gotten some security and reconstructed some things; the redevelopment of the Black Mountain satellites that could now connect to California and receive transmissions from faraway areas, but there was always a gang causing trouble.
Upon arriving at the correctional facility, he handed it over to the man who assigned him the mission and he would leave to go to his temporary home until he could return home. Novac, known as a settlement with the giant dinosaur was Ruby's home, she lived in one of the rooms she had accommodated; a small kitchen along with a work area for your bullets and guns. Leaving her weapons in place, she would take off her equipment to lie on her bed, she was exhausted from that mission, after having helped in the second battle of Hoover Dam they asked her to do some missions to avoid future problems. She didn't regret it, it was like being a hunter, but she had to follow the NCR laws and always bring the boss back alive, that was better.
She reviewed the year 2287, so much time had passed, that she felt that this place was a second home for her. His friends had made their own lives.
His sister Yang became a trainer for the troops, not to mention taking on a personal task to fix a Lone Wanderer motorcycle, to TEMPORARILY replace Bumblebee.
Blake joined the followers to help the people with his tribal knowledge.
Weiss was in the Lucky 38 having all the information he could on Mr. House, but something was missing. Sometimes he would visit her for a date.
Nora and Ren established themselves at the Neillis air base.
Jaune and Phyrra cared for their young children in Jacobstown, where they worked as hunters; Jaune was still practicing with that.
Xanthos and Vermilion had their basic education thanks to Dr. Henry, who was a patient with them.
And Six tended the Great Void from time to time, but he continued his job as a courier, but he made sure another Divide didn't happen.
For now life seemed fine, steady job and a place to sleep. He would decide to get some sleep, he had earned it.
In the middle of the night she would wake up groggy because her Pip-Boy had received a transmission.
"Please don't let it be another job, it's the fifth this week and it's only Wednesday" Ruby said tiredly.
Ruby would take it to see it, but it wasn't from the NCR, in fact, it was an emergency transmission from a shelter, technically from shelter 111. When selecting it, a message would be heard.
"To anyone from Vault-Tec or the government hearing this we need help. I'm Supervisor Jeremias from Vault 111 in the Northern Commonwealth. Our supplies are running low and I'm afraid there's a riot, please send help or any news, Should we conclude the experiment or continue... Please".
The message would be repeated again. Ruby would be puzzled by this and after that she would have a new location that said "Commonwealth". She knew those things were testing grounds, like Vault 11. But the intrigue was beyond her. I would go there to investigate, but I had to report it. Using her Pip-Boy she would give a message to her friends to notify them and see who wanted to join her. He put the coordinates of the meeting and the time.
"That will suffice…For now…I have to count some sheep" Ruby said tiredly, going back to bed, the last thing she would think about would be Vault 111 and the location of the "Commonwealth" that didn't appear on the Mojave map.
Well, what did you think of the Rewriting of a Rose in Boston? I hope it's better than the previous one. Tell me what I should improve.
