While we suspect Medusa being the Divine Shadow, we also deduced Loki is after the Stones. We can't allow either god to succeed in their plans! It's time to finish them once and for all!

An eerily calm Loki stands atop of a tower overlooking his Underworld allies that are preparing their defenses for when the Goddess Avengers Alliance inevitably invades their territory for a final showdown. It won't be long now, he sensed. Just as he sensed a divine force that silently appeared behind his caped back. "You came." said Loki without much of a glance to the visitor he seems very familiar with.

"Of course." The Mysterious Deity walks out of his shadow to converse with him under another darkness that hides his true identity, appearing as a silhouetted humanoid demon that loves to talk with a dull tone that is playful yet brimming with sarcasm and cruelty, "I do live here after all. How have you been enjoying my hospitality?"

"All is going according to plan. It won't be long until Medusa and Palutena engage in their final battle. Whatever the outcome, we will be one step closer in obtaining ultimate power." Loki replied, sounding like he's plotting something behind Medusa's back, "Can I assume that you are prepared for what comes next?"

"All is in order, Lokes. Got the popcorn and drinks and a nice view ready for the mayhem that's about to happen." The Mystery God quipped with a playful salute.

"Excellent. Try to put on a good show, Avengers." smiled Loki, sinisterly looking forward to the climactic showdown between light and darkness.

At Palutena's Temple…

BGM-Bleach OST-Number One

From one side, Pit rushes to the Sacred Casket that he kicks open to equip himself with the legendary Three Sacred Treasures. "Equipped!" He exclaimed with an eager flex, outfitted with an all-powerful golden armor that is complete with a Grecian helmet.

From the opposite side, Spider-Man presses a button on his Webware that releases nanomachines across his body to form the amazing Iron Spider Armor. "Armor Up!" He shouted with a spectacular flex, equipped with his superpowered red armor that was recently upgraded with all sorts of Underworld countermeasures.

"You two are lookin' snazzy." Sonic teased, casually tossing up his green Norn Stone of Brilliance.

"Think you can beat our style?" Pit quipped cockily.

"Let's see." The stylish Sonic catches his Norn Stone after tossing it into the air one last time, standing between Weiss and Lucina who are holding the blue Norn Stone of Energy and red Norn Stone of Strength respectively. "Ready, girls?" He asked them.

"Ready!" The heroines responded readily.

The triple wielders of the Super Norn Stones brandish their relic as they begin to trespass into the realm of gods. Norn Stones are said to react to the user's deepest desires, and there is no deeper desire than to protect the ones they love. Their respective stones start glowing as their power is being harnessed. Those divine energies manifest, either as a blue light for Weiss, a green light for Sonic, or a red light for Lucina, and engulf them. The trio rise into the air as a bright light erupts from them, nearly blinding Spidey and Pit and amazing Palutena before those energies burst into an intense aura that quickly dissipates, and the trio descends back to the ground, sporting new Asgardian attire. Weiss has ascended into a Goddess of Ice, outfitted with white and blue skirted armor that is complete with gaiters, a plumed cape, and an ice crown. Lucina has risen into a Goddess of War, wearing armor similarly designed to Weiss's but with her classic blue color now possessing brighter golden accents, has a chain mail, and her eyes became relaxed red. And for Sonic, he has transcended into a God of Speed, sporting a thunderous blue armor with golden accents akin to Thor's and is complete with battle shoes, a red cape, and a winged helmet that looks awesome on him. At long last, the God Avengers are born and ready to kick divine butt.

"Oh wow wow wow!" Pit commented on their impressively awesome new look.

"Viewtiful!" Spider-Man reacted with just as much amazement.

"Congratulations. It seems the Norn Stones have found you worthy." Palutena smiled for the trio.

"So this is what it's like to be a god…" God Weiss said with a calmer tone than normal thanks to her ascension, glancing in awe at her new godly attire, "I have never felt so coolheaded."

"You did evolve into an Ice Goddess." Palutena joked.

"A more tolerable title than Ice Queen." Weiss snarked.

Just before they fly off to their final battle, Spider-Man has a little speech ready for his team to listen and rally around, "Remember the plan. Time to end this game of Light vs. Dark by taking the fight to the Underworld itself! Waste no time on the flunkies! We're going all-out against the god bosses! We MUST stop Medusa and Loki before they find the Exo Stone!"

"Not to mention prevent the prophecy that'll end the realms!" Pit added.

Spidey nods to him in acknowledgement, "Yeah. But we drove down this road many times. We WILL save our two universes…and a friend lost in the darkness!"

"Harry Osborn will be freed from their clutches! That is our promise to you!" God Lucina promised her leader, who also acknowledges it with a grateful nod.

"It'll still be a long shot. Do not allow your friendship risk dooming our worlds." Palutena warned the webslinger, still believing that saving Harry will be nigh-impossible.

"This ain't my first rodeo, Palutena. I understand what's at stake. If Harry won't listen to reason, then he'll leave me no choice but to take him down." Spidey retorted with a resolute tone that is visibly complimented by the goddess.

"That's good to hear. Now…" With a solemn expression, Palutena points her staff at the teleporter door that is opening to their destiny, "Go forth, in the name of the Light!"

"AVENGERS! ASSEMBLE!" Spider-Man yelled out with fierce declaration.

The jet boots of the Iron Spider activate. The power of flight helps the Skyworld Captain ascend. The magic of the Norn Stones allows the God Avengers to achieve flight. And from the Goddess of Light's commanding gesture, the five dimensional heroes race through the door as they head for their last battle with the dark gods in order to restore peace to their worlds.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Medusa's Final Battle

"Are you ready for the final battle, Pit?" Spidey asked, as the team flies through stormy skies.

"It's now or never!" Pit retorted eagerly.

"Good, 'cause we got incoming!" Spidey detects an extremely large horde of Underworld monsters rushing to kill the heroes, "Show us what those Three Sacred Treasures can do!"

"Roger that!" Stoked to unleash the awesomeness that are the Three Sacred Treasures, Pit fires off an enchanted medley of bow attacks that easily pierces through countless demons in a blink of an eye, finishing his final smash by firing arrows into the heavens so they may shower and massacre the mighty horde with large pillars of burning blue light that leaves his friends impressively amazed.

"That was WAY PAST COOL, Pit!" grinned God Sonic, complimenting the angel with a thumbs up for an astonishing display of sacred power.

"Guess we underestimated you. You're no slouch with those Three Sacred Treasures." Weiss remarked, giving out compliments as well.

"Using the Pegasus Wings and power of flight at the same time seems like overkill." Pit noted.

'Who knows how reliable the Pegasus Wings are after all this time? I've turned them off.' Palutena said telepathically.

"Understood!" Pit acknowledged.

More Underworld goons appear in hordes as massive as the last. But against the God Avengers, they won't last long. The blood of the Divine Dragon, and now the magic of Asgard, flows through Lucina's veins that allows her will alone to upgrade her Parallel Falchion into the brilliant red Genesis Falchion. With this newfound power, the warrior princess cuts through uncountable monsters at unparalleled speeds like a hot knife through butter, even decimating a large horde by unleashing a powerful wave of divine energy from that same sword. And yet more keep coming. "There sure are a lot of Underworld enemies around here." Lucina scowled while calmly massacring the new wave.

"Well, we are getting close to their turf." quipped Spidey, assisting his god friends with repulsor blasts.

'Yes, so even though your God Forms and the Arrows of Light do a lot of damage, don't get cocky.' Palutena warned them.

"You hear that, Sonic?" Weiss sternly asked the ever-cocky hedgehog.

"I'm not deaf." Sonic snarked, "That won't stop me from being experimental. Gotta warm up to these new powers quick before you chill all the fun." He teased, turning himself into a bolt of lightning for an Electro Boost that instantly smashes through massive monsters like Fort Oinks and Belunkas.

Once a ravine comes into view, Palutena says, 'This ravine leads to the Underworld. I'm taking you in.', before sending the heroes inside, where they encounter a hoard of the spider-like Trailtails, 'Look at those Trailtails drawing lines.'

"Or…trails, right?" Pit remarked.

'Maybe.'

"Probably."

Not long after, Spider-Man comes across dormant Shootflies that he was going to shoot awake until Palutena exclaims to him, 'I don't advise shooting for a little bit. The Shootflies here will react to your fire.'

"It'd be impolite to interrupt their beauty sleep." Spidey quipped as he refrains from shooting, carefully descending past the Shootflies and whispering, "There's a whole bunch of 'em! Just gotta keep quiet…Fingers crossed…"

After traversing through that little stealth moment with the Shootflies, Palutena confirms, 'I think we're out of Shootfly territory.'

"Good. 'Cause I'm ready to start shootin' stuff!" Pit retorted, before the party flies into a narrow, crystallized cave.

'The entrance to the Underworld should be up ahead.' Palutena proclaimed.

"I hope the gem from Thanatos works." Weiss frowned.

"If not, I'm pawning it." Spidey quipped.

'Watch out for Ornes ahead.' Palutena warned.

Several Ornes appear to fight, and Spidey's repulsors are completely worthless against their invincibility. Embarrassedly for him, his empowered friends are more than a match for them with ice blasts, sword slashes, Spin Dashes, and light arrows that bypass their invincibility and destroy them in an instant.

"Did you see that?" Pit boasted after the killer arrow for an unfortunate Orne.

'They were no match for your arrows.' Palutena complimented.

"The Three Sacred Treasures have still got it!" Pit grinned.

"The Norn Stones are just as remarkable. I never knew a world like this existed." Lucina growing to really enjoy her god power.

"Why am I the only one without god power?" Spidey retorted jealously.

"You already forgot 'bout the god monster living inside ya?" Sonic quipped about The Other.

"Almost." Spidey snarked.

Upon nearing the end of the cave, Pit takes notice of the Underworld Key that begins glowing just as a bright eye-shaped portal appears before everyone, "Thanatos's gem is shining!"

'That means we're good to go. Get ready!' Palutena warned the team.

"WHOOOOOOOA!" screamed Pit and the Dimensional Avengers, as the brilliant light blinds them for realm transportation.

From the light of Skyworld, the young defenders arrive in the hellish dark wasteland that is, 'The Underworld.', as Palutena stated.

"We finally made it!" Pit said grimly.

"I can now scratch Hell off the list of places I never wanted to visit." Spider-Man joked.

Expectedly, the Underworld is infested with an overwhelming amount of Underworld troops, in addition with a fleet of Dark Elf Harrow ships that immediately fire all weaponry at the intruders. "That's a whole lot of enemies." Sonic noted while dodging enemy fire from countless angles.

'Well, we ARE on their home field.' Palutena quipped.

"Home or away—We fight to win!" Pit declared.

"Got that right!" Weiss demonstrates her mighty god power, using her rapier to help conjure a massive hailstorm that rains and devastates dozens of Underworld Troops and Dark Elves alike.

'In your past adventures, the Underworld was where you died the most, right?' Palutena asked her angel during the intense air battle.

"Oh, absolutely. The difficulty level was just brutal. We'll brace for the worst!" Pit responded.

"I'm gonna draw fire from those ships! Lucina and Pit, take care of 'em while I do! Sonic and Weiss, gather up the small fry for one big attack! Go!" Spidey ordered everyone to uphold their positions until the battle is won.

Upon unveiling his mechanical spider-arms, Spider-Man unleashes an onslaught of repulsors that provoke several Dark Elf Ships into focusing their deadly lasers on him. "Gonna have to try harder to match these Spider Reflexes." He quipped, using the Spider Reflexes technique he learned from Palutena to seamlessly dodge the fleet's assault. Pit uses this grand opportunity to fire single light arrows that pierces several ships each, blowing them up spectacularly, as Lucina does the same to a singular large ship that she slices down the middle with no trouble whatsoever. Weiss summons the magic within to blow back numerous monsters with a cold blast of wind, getting the entire army into position for the spinballing Sonic to entrap with a savagely thunderous hurricane that causes both body and spirit to tremble before being torn asunder.

Their teamwork was divine, demonstrating to all in the Underworld that the Avengers should not be underestimated. The Underworld Army fight back twice as hard, and with greater persistence that begin annoying the heroes. Fortunate for them, backup arrives in the form of the unexpected Dark Pit blitzing into the scene and demolishing monsters. "Waah! Pittoo!" Pit reacted in surprise at this sudden reunion with his dark clone.

"What did you just call me?" Dark Pit retorted, already despising his new nickname.

"What are you doing here?! Where are the Dark Avengers?" Spidey asked him.

"Don't know, don't care. I'm here for the same reason as you. Pummeling Underworld fools. I'm just way better at it." Pittoo snarked, demolishing demons with a vicious arrow storm.

"Still with the ego. You'd be great buddies with Shadow." Sonic quipped.

'Maybe you also sensed that Pit could use your help.' Palutena believed.

"Don't make me laugh. Now, enough talky talk. There's fighting to be done! I'm out of here!" Pittoo retorted, flying away to fight his own Underworld battles.

"It was nice of you to show up, Pittoo. But I can handle this on my own!" Pit proclaimed arrogantly.

'You're not on your own, Pit. You have me. And the Dimensional Avengers.' Palutena reminded him.

"She's right. Man or god, doesn't matter. You can ALWAYS rely on friends to have your back!" Spidey advised his angel protégé.

"Of course! What would I do without you guys?!" Pit smiled, eternally grateful to have made amazing friends in both the mortal and divine realm.

Shortly after, the heroes fly over a tall wall that leads to an area of foreboding darkness. They all ready themselves, sensing this darkness belonging to their mutual enemy that is feared throughout the world as the Goddess of Darkness. "SO, YOU'VE MADE IT THIS FAR." said Medusa, with the heroes seamlessly confronting her massive projection.

"We're just that committed to trim your snakes. Lookin' like a jungle up there." Spidey mocked fearlessly.

"You'd better watch your back!" Pit threatened the dark goddess.

"ISN'T THAT JUST…PRECIOUS. GUESS IT'S ALL THAT HOT AIR THAT KEEPS YOU FLYING. YOU ARE DARLING. BUT YOU'LL NEED MORE THAN BLUSTER TO DEFEAT ME!" Medusa claimed arrogantly.

"This isn't bluster! In the name of the goddess of light, we will defeat you!" Pit declared vigorously.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Underworld Gatekeeper

As soon as Medusa and her darkness disappears, a giant magical construct appears before the shocked heroes, with Weiss asking, "What is THAT?!"

'That's the last line of defense keeping us out of the Underworld Castle.' answered Palutena, as a barrier is summoned to surround the aforementioned castle.

"It won't be keeping US out!" Sonic retorted fiercely, just as the Underworld Gatekeeper reveal its inner guns and mechanical wings.

"Target its guns!" Spidey ordered before leading the assault.

Though it mostly stays in one place, the Underworld Gatekeeper possesses a wide array of projectiles that makes it a formidable foe even for god-empowered superheroes. Its lasers, fireballs, and explosives keeps Pit and Weiss busy deflecting them while their other friends let out a war cry upon unleashing a relentless energy barrage on the construct's guns. It quickly frees itself with a massive purple beam that disrupts their cooperation so it may fold in and zip across like a pink streak, blitzing the heroes several times until Sonic catches it with godlike strength before it could land another annoying blow. Weiss and Lucina work together to destroy the remaining guns right before the mighty Sonic hurls the creature at the castle barrier, weakening it and forcing the Gatekeeper to protect its face with a shield that makes it impossible for Spidey and Pit to inflict any more damage with their own energy barrage that is only successful in keeping it at bay.

"Why aren't our attacks doing more damage?" Pit exasperated.

'Well, it IS a boss.' Palutena quipped.

"It's SO annoying!" Pit retorted.

"Just keep shooting! I'm detecting a concentration of artificial nerve endings on its side!" Spidey scanned with his armor, "Attack that spot at full force and-!"

"HI-YAH!" Suddenly yelled by Dark Pit dropkicking the Underworld Gatekeeper at that aforementioned weakspot which destroys it for good.

"And let Pittoo steal the glory kill. Nice." Spidey finished sarcastically.

"And THAT'S how you take out a boss!" Dark Pit boasted smugingly as the Gatekeeper's defeat also disabled the castle barrier.

'For future reference, face kicking isn't usually this effective.' Palutena quipped.

"Noted." Lucina remarked.

"Get a move on before more defenses show up!" Dark Pit ordered the heroes.

'Pittoo's right. We should go, even if it means taking orders from HIM.' Palutena agreed.

"Thanks, Pittoo!" Pit smiled, starting to think his clone isn't that bad.

"PLEASE stop calling me that." Dark Pit retorted angrily.

"Avengers, get ready to go in." said Spidey, and with his team looking ready and determined to end this war, they fly through the entrance of the Underworld Castle.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Underworld Castle Entrance

The Goddess Avengers Alliance have finally landed inside this looming castle that appeared at the time of Medusa's arrival, eclipsing all in its shadow. The goddess of the Underworld calls this foul fortress her home, making the heroes anxious to evict with a divine trashing as they enter a room with a large hot spring surrounded by statues of Twinbellows, Hewdraw, and Pandora.

'We're finally here.' Palutena announced.

"Look at these boss statues." Pit noticed.

"It seems that each statue has a corresponding door." God Weiss inspected upon a closer look at the Hewdraw statue.

"We're gonna have to check them all out if we want to proceed." God Sonic suggested.

"Alright. We'll split up. Sonic and Lucina, investigate Pandora's door. Weiss and I will check Hewdraw's. Pit, you go through Twinbellows's. Palutena will guide you." Spider-Man ordered his teammates, keeping on the Iron Spider Armor for a change for the duration of this mission.

"Understood." Lucina acknowledged.

"Watch yourselves. We're in their house now." warned Spidey, before the assigned pairs venture into their respective doors.

With Pit…

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-That First Town

The angelic hero found himself teleported back to That First Town, which looks more distorted than he remembered. "This looks like where I had my first battle." Pit realized.

'You've really come a long way since then, haven't you?' Palutena noted happily.

"Not just me, but the Avengers. This is where I first met them. Sonic is as fast as ever…" Pit reminisced while shooting down a Skuttler. "Lucina reminds me a lot of Marth in the way she fights and her kindness…" He then countered a Clubberskull's stomp with powerful melee strikes. "Weiss is pretty cool, if a little nagging sometimes…" Then ambushes a Reaper. "And Spider-Man is just an amazing guy to hang out with. He taught me a lot. What it means to be a hero. The sacrifices I must endure. I have the power to help so many people. No matter how bad things get, it's my responsibility to have faith and keep fighting for everyone everywhere!" He proclaimed before taking down a horde of Dark Elves.

'You and I have learned great lessons from our new friends. Let us show our gratitude by saving their worlds!' Palutena admitted sincerely.

"ALL RIGHT!" Pit agreed wholeheartedly while rushing into a coliseum to reunite with an old friend.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Boss Fight 1

That old friend just happens to be the revived Underworld Watchdog, Twinbellows, growling for vengeance at his angelic killer. "Twinbellows!" Pit recognized, immediately taking action to clash fiercely with the demon dog, "Here, boy! Old Pit's gonna teach you even MORE new tricks! And if you're good, I'll take you for a walk and give you a bath and a treat. We're going to rack up some serious Nintendogs trainer points together!"

'Focus, Pit.' Palutena snarked.

From a flaming roar, Twinbellows charges headfirst at the angel that dodges at the nick of time to retaliate with a powerful arrow barrage that harms the hellhound. Pit is stronger and faster than before thanks to the Three Sacred Treasures, easily reflecting the beast's fireballs to inflict greater damage with his Mirror Shield. The infuriated Twinbellows wants to end this now and unleashes a massive flamebreath that smashes the hero into a wall. Just as he recovered, Pit is trapped between the dog's biting heads but manages to launch himself high into the air, charging up his power to deliver a fast and powerful two-handed downward strike on both heads, slamming him to another humiliating defeat.

"Good dog!" Pit grinned at his flaming victory.

With Spider-Man and Weiss…

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-That Burning Town

At the same time Pit is re-exploring that First Town, the Spider and Heiress found themselves in a distorted version of That Burning Town. "Oh, this place again." Iron Spider recalled.

"This looks like where we fought the Hewdraw and Harry." God Weiss commented.

"So this whole town is some kind of illusion?" Spidey wondered.

'It's as real as I am.' Medusa suddenly spoke to the mortals via telepathy, 'I built it myself using your and the Hewdraw's memories. Not so different from how Loki created his Realms of Despair.'

"That's because you don't know what the original town looked like." Weiss mocked.

'No matter. You're in my domain now, and you'll play by MY rules!' Medusa proclaimed.

"Yeah? Well, some rules are meant to be broken!" snarked Spidey, spinning out a webline to swing on alongside Weiss taking flight.

The duo Avengers quickly arrive in an area with enemies that include two powerful Frost Giants. Upon landing, Weiss uses her Divine Glyphs to seamlessly summon two Arma Gigas Grimm that are equal in size and power to the Jotuns. Grimm and Giants engage in a brutal battle, with blades deflecting clubs and clubs smacking knights. But with some outmaneuvering, an Arma Gigas manages to impale a Frost Giant through the heart, while the other decapitates the second Giant, just before Spidey eradicates the smaller army with a slammingly massive repulsor web sphere.

"I'm sensing Hewdraw behind that door." Spidey pointed out for him and his partner to run toward.

BGM-Spider-Man Unlimited (Game) OST-Boss!

Upon passing through the gate, the duo is confronted by a copy of blue Hewdraw Reborn that fights exactly as the original did. "Hewdraw! Your chances of winning are lower than your belly button! Which is really low!" Spidey mocked while evading his fast-moving missiles from the ground to flying in the air.

"You're pretty pumped up, huh?" noted Weiss, firing ice blasts that slow the serpent's movements.

"Of course I am! If we defeat Medusa and Loki, we save Harry and two worlds!" Spidey retorted, pummeling the monster's face with repulsor-powered punches and kicks.

"Yeah. Harry is me if I ever go down a dark path. I don't want to go through that pain…For both our sakes, we WILL save him!" Weiss frowned, more determined to free her dimensional counterpart from his inner darkness.

Outraged from being overwhelmed by the heroes, the roaring Hewdraw dives underwater and unloads a swarm of homing missiles that forces the high-flying Spidey away to save himself, leaving Weiss alone to be hit with a ruthless tail swipe that takes her a moment to retaliate by a vengeful slash that cut the tail. Ice Goddess wasn't done as she summons then drops explosive energy orbs in the lake to knock Hewdraw out of the water, just in time for Spidey to trick the homing missiles into severely harming the serpent. Hewdraw was powerless to defend himself from being uppercutted into the air and web-throwed over the lake by Spidey, who allows Weiss to destroy him with an all-powerful divine lightning storm.

"Redefeated! As Pit would say!" Spidey joked, sharing this thunderous win with Weiss by giving each other a high-five.

With Sonic and Lucina…

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Into the Labyrinth

"Now this is one place I wish I could forget." God Sonic said deadpannedly, upon winding up in the already distorted Labyrinth of Deceit.

"The Labyrinth of Deceit." God Lucina recalled with disdain for this wacky world.

"Which means a second helping of crazy. Ugh." The impatient Sonic grunted at the walls of spikes that entrap them in the one room, "How do we get outta here?"

"Let me see through the Norn Stone." With a calm mind, Lucina focuses her divine magic through her exalted eye that begins glowing with heightened extrasensory perception. She scans the spiked walls and quickly comes to the conclusion that all but one is real. "That way!" She directed Sonic to head through a fake spiked wall.

"It'll take more than some fake spikes to stop us!" Sonic boasted. But as he runs through the crazy chambers, the Freedom Fighter accidently steps over a circle that summons him to the ceiling of a room, much to his surprise, "Whoa-oa! Uh…what just happened?"

"I think you just used a warp of some sort." Lucina responded, looking at him from the floor.

Together, they head through several more warps that are starting to give them headaches. "I'm all kinds of turned around." Sonic joked while taking a quick breather.

"We seem to be passing between the floor and ceiling. How very strange." Lucina commented.

"You're telling me! Let's hope the Norn Stones can guide us outta here before we're thrown for a never-ending loop." Sonic replied.

Using the Norn Stones to instinctively find the best exit route, the two Avengers head through some fake spikes that lead to a warp point that transports them to a new area. "Hey, a secret area!" Sonic noticed.

"We're one step closer to getting out of this place." Lucina proclaimed.

BGM-Sonic Unleashed OST-Vs. Titan & Big Mother

After heading through a door, the god heroes encounter a Pandora clone that Sonic is quick to taunt, "Pandora! Ready for round two?!" But the Calamity Goddess says nothing. Only responding with a barrage of purple fireballs that the heroes are swift to dodge, "Weird! You're usually the sarcastic wordy type!"

"Seems Medusa couldn't make her talk." Lucina noticed something is amiss about this Pandora.

"What do you mean?" Sonic asked, jumping away from deployed bombs.

"I mean that's not Pandora." Lucina proclaimed, reflecting a bomb to stun the goddess.

"But it looks just like her!" Sonic replied, attacking the stunned copy with a painful Spin Attack.

"Can't you sense it through the Norn Stone? That's just a soul dressed up to resemble Pandora." Lucina told him.

'How clever of you, human.' Medusa telepathically chimed into the conversation.

"I can't believe you'd stoop to recycling souls…Is nothing sacred to you?" Lucina scowled.

"Well, you're in for quite a treat, Snake Hair. Now watch in amazement as we slay Pandora for the SECOND TIME!" Sonic declared cockily.

Desperate to end this quickly, the silent Pandora fires disc-shaped projectiles that Lucina easily deflects with a swing of Genesis Falchion, the same sword she quickly stabs the ground with in order to save herself from being vacuumed into the goddess's belly. Sonic comes to intervene by attacking the copy, resulting in him being consumed and spit out like a cannonball that smashes both him and Lucina into a wall. At light speeds, the God Hedgehog recovers and spins away from Pandora's fireballs just to kick her into the air, and just as Lucina coats her blade with divine fire and lunges up yelling, "EXALTED AETHER!", before delivering to the weakened goddess a relentless barrage of nasty sword strikes, ending with a mighty overhead blow that sends her plummeting down to a large explosive defeat.

"Slaying complete!" Sonic smiled, celebrating this crazy victory by exchanging a fist bump with Lucina, surprisingly before they are teleported out of the place.

Back at Underworld Castle…

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Underworld Castle

All teleported heroes reunite at the lobby, where all three boss statues crumble into pieces just as a new pathway is revealed to them. "Look! We're all back!" God Sonic noticed.

'Nicely done, team! You've destroyed all three statues.' Palutena praised them.

"Then it's time to destroy Medusa!" Pit proclaimed.

'The path to Medusa is back the way you first came in.' Palutena said.

"How is that even possible?!" Iron Spider remarked with confusion, "You know what, I'll just chalk it up to god magic."

Explosively, the assembled Avengers rampage through the Underworld Castle and will not slow down until they reach Medusa. Spidey and Pit lead the charge, dispatching numerous hordes with combined energy assaults so Weiss and Lucina could launch a spinballing Sonic at godly speeds, cleanly clearing a path of mighty goons until a Clubberskull ambushes them. God Lucina conjures a new weapon to wield for this moment, the Geirskögul lance, and alongside Spidey's spider-stingers, they combat the demon until it is weakened for Pit to destroy with one charged shot.

'I find it very ironic that you would call yourself the goddess of light. After all, it was you who turned me into a monster. It was you who hunted me down.' Medusa telepathically confronted her nemesis during the heroes' rampage.

'You shouldn't blame me for that. I only reflected in your appearance what I saw in your heart.' Palutena deflected her accusations.

'And what about YOUR heart? I can only imagine what resides there.' Medusa retorted.

'Why just imagine it? Don't you have the power to make it a reality?' Palutena replied.

'There's no point. We all know it would be some sort of hideous creature.' Medusa claimed.

"You shut your mouth, Medusa!" Pit finally snapped with fury, which mildly surprised his mortal friends, "Lady Palutena is nothing like you! Who turns people to stone and poisons the rivers? Who reduces cities to rubble? And who is leading the Underworld destruction of the land, heavens, and dimensions? Not Lady Palutena. YOU'RE the one responsible for all this, Medusa. But what I don't get is how you managed to resurrect yourself in the first place."

BGM-Tekken 5 OST-Destined Interlude ~ Sinister

'…I suppose I don't really understand how that happened either.' Medusa claimed.

"Don't play dumb with me!" Pit retorted.

Reluctantly, Medusa admits to her enemies that, 'I…I don't remember what happened. My memories aren't what they were. All I remember is Loki visiting me shortly after my revival. He proposed our alliance so we may conquer the two universes, saying that I am the "rising darkness" spoken in the prophecy.'

"Sure Loki didn't bring you back to life just so he can USE you as his pawn?" Spidey mockingly questioned the dark goddess.

'You are getting on my nerves, Bug of New York!' Medusa retorted with a cold threat, getting furiously sick of his disrespect.

"I'll shut up once you tell me where he is. Don't you find it suspicious he's not even around when his old friend is about to get the beating of her life? Real friends would stick together!" Spidey questioned, noting Loki's suspicious absence in this final battle.

'M-Maybe…I…I don't know…He's here…where…' said Medusa, feeling both conflicted and highly confused with herself.

'You're slipping, Medusa. Your mind isn't all there anymore. And I can sense that your life force is weaker than it used to be. Loki has abandoned you. The Dark Avengers will come too late to your aid. Twinbellows, Hewdraw, Pandora, and Thanatos have all been defeated. But if you withdraw your army and promise to stay in this castle, I will spare you.' Palutena offered her former friend.

Rejecting her silly offer with a maniacal laugh, Medusa retorts, 'Don't be ridiculous. Besides…It hardly matters HOW I returned. What matters is WHY. To exact revenge on you! Turning your little angel and mortal pets into stone is a nice first step.'

"Threaten all you want. You don't scare us! Even if the enemy is a god, we have a duty to fulfill!" Spidey proclaimed with unyielding confidence.

"We will put an end to you. We'll return to Skyworld VICTORIOUS!" Pit declared with resolute determination, with the remaining heroes sharing the firm sentiment.

BGM-Sonic Riders OST-Theme of Digital Dimension

With strengthened resolves on both the side of light and the side of darkness, the Avengers continue their brave venture through the Underworld Castle. They come across a creative Grind Rail conjured by Palutena for Sonic and Pit to ride while the rest of their friends take to the skies for a glorious battle against a horde of enemies. Hedgehog and Angel kept on grinding until their rail was blown apart by Goblin Robo Warriors, forcing the duo to jump at the last second, with Pit kicking a Goblin off its glider so he may ride and shoot down other goblins with it while assisted by Sonic's relentless Homing Attacks.

'I can sense you getting closer, Avengers.' Medusa said menacingly.

"Gettin' scared yet?" Sonic quipped.

'Of mortals? Hah! I have watched you worms all this time, all of you scared and alone. You may claim at being heroes in your worlds. But here? You are less than nothing.' Medusa maliciously mocked the mortal outworlders.

"Tell that to the other gods we have slain on our path to your end!" Lucina retorted with an excellent taunt.

"That arrogance of yours will be your undoing! We'll make certain of that!" Weiss threatened.

"There's nowhere left for you to run!" Pit proclaimed.

'Y'know, I'm very much looking forward to your arrival. I feel like Rapunzel waiting for her prince.' Medusa mocked.

"Sorry to break it to you, but those aren't exactly golden locks on your head." Pit snarked.

'And you're not exactly a brave hero.' Medusa sassed back, 'Yet somehow the thought of your confrontation fills me with anticipation. So hurry to me, Pit. Bring your Avengers. I'll crush you all and sever you from the heavens and dimensions forever.'

"I don't think so!" retorted Pit, jumping off his glider and having it crash into grounded forces blocking entry to a room with a stich and no obvious paths. "Where are we supposed to go?" He wondered.

'There's a path somewhere. Step on the switch and use the lights to guide your way.' Palutena directed him.

"Boring." Spidey grabs ahold of the startled angel before taking flight alongside the others, making the puzzle room look completely pointless.

'We're getting close to Medusa.' Palutena announced.

"Yeah, we can smell her. Her scent is FOUL in all caps." Spidey joked.

"No wonder she's so ugly. Must've forgot to take a bath in the last century." Sonic joined in with the jokes that are no doubt infuriating the dark goddess.

Shortly after, the party lands on a platform with a final horde of powerful monsters that are ready to die for their queen's safety. "This appears to be the final guard." Lucina sternly noticed them guarding the massive door leading to Medusa.

"The last step before Medusa's defeat!" Pit stated.

"Let's make this quick! Finish her, then Loki!" Weiss decided.

Mortals and Monsters engage in one last brawl that lasts but a few epic moments. A Tempura Wizard tries blasting Weiss into shrimp tempura, only for the evasive heiress have a Dark Elf be cursed instead and leave her free to freeze the Wizard alongside several other monsters. A Divine Sword Beam from Lucina destroys many but an Erinus, who splits into two halves and clashes with the princess for a bit until she tricked both halves into knocking each other out. Several Ornes are forced to eat powerful thunderbolts hurled by Sonic. And after Pit dodges a Frost Giant club slam, countering with a bow shot to a knee that forces them to kneel, Spider-Man runs up the Jotun's arm with the power of The Other enlarging and spiking his fist so he may deliver a devastatingly ice-cracking punch across the face that knocks the giant out cold.

"Showtime, Medusa! You guys ready?" Spidey asked, posing like an imposing spider before the boss door that's been cleared of enemies all around.

"Yeah!" The girls of the team responded vigorously.

"Let's do it!" The other boys of the party retorted energetically. And with all that settled, the Goddess Avengers Alliance head through the boss door for their decisive battle with darkness.

Medusa's Chamber.

"HA HA HA HA HA HA." The dark laughter of Medusa was heard just as Pit and the Dimensional Avengers made it to a large room, where they stood in confrontational shock by the enormous size of the Goddess of Darkness that continues to be intimidating with her laugh, "HA HA HA HA HA HA! SO WE FINALLY MEET AGAIN, PIT. AND DIMENSIONAL AVENGERS. WELCOME TO OBLIVION."

"Sh-she's huge!" Pit felt scared and intimidated by her godly size.

'Be careful!' Palutena assured him.

"Call it, Captain." Spidey calmly encouraged him to fight his fears with a righteous attitude.

Fueled by the righteous determination to save all he loves, Pit glares at the dark goddess and begins to strike several imposing poses while announcing his plans, "Listen well, all you demons of the Underworld! In the name of the goddess Palutena, the defender of all that is good…Those who hide in the darkness will be made to face the light!"

'Fly, Avengers!' Palutena ordered, just as the resolute heroes narrowly fly out of the way of Medusa's crushing blow.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Boss Fight 2

The final battle between light and darkness begins with the Avengers charging headfirst at Medusa, who uses her ultimate dark power to easily blow them far to the ends of this gigantic arena with a swing of her staff. 'I'm going to try to get you closer!' Palutena assists with their comeback.

"Thank you kindly!" Pit retorted.

'But…Medusa's using her powers to hold you back.' Palutena stated, which frustrates the angel.

"Keep pushing! Don't give up! Only together we'll win! Sonic, get in the lead!" Spidey fiercely commanded his forces.

"Roger!" God Sonic complied swiftly.

Sonic's in the lead, giving the team greater speed that pushes through Medusa's power keeping them afar. The dark goddess laughs at their attempt to return while unleashing a plethora of intimidating attacks to, at the very least, keep them at bay, and at the very most, obliterate them. Her attacks don't scare them in the slightest. Stone debris were sliced in two by Lucina. Round projectiles were shot down by Pit and Weiss. And lasers were slid past by Spidey and Sonic, just as all five heroes seem near enough to launch a mighty energy assault that fail to faze the demon queen.

'You're still too far away.' Palutena said.

"She's so big that it's hard to get a feel for which shots will hit her." God Weiss frowned.

"I beat a giant dark god before. Get in close and go straight for her eyes!" Sonic suggested.

The heroes fly in closer for their attacks to better land, only for Medusa to think smart and evade them with teleportation. "Wow! Warping that huge body must be a real pain!" Pit mocked.

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING HUGE, YOU INSIGNIFICANT LITTLE THING?" Medusa retorted with a powerful eye blast that injures the armored angel.

"The granny with snakes for hair and has an inferiority complex. Everyone loves Lady Lights but can't stand Dark Hideous. Being banished to the Underworld was a mercy. You were saved from tons of embarrassment." quipped Spidey, firing twin repulsors that are deflected by the furious goddess.

"YOU DARE INSIST IN MOCKING ME?!" Medusa slashes him aback before teleporting away from more repulsors, "SACRED TREASURES! NORN STONES! TOTEM BEASTS! IT MATTERS NOT WHAT YOU USE AGAINST ME! YOU ARE STILL JUST A MORTAL! EVERY BIT AS WEAK AS THE DAY I CRUSHED YOU IN YOUR WORLD!"

"I am not the same man you fought in Oscorp." As Spidey began his intimidating retort, he uses Holy Webbing to craft two large golden fists that float beside him, "The Bug you let live has returned…" His Spider-Sense foretells Medusa about to appear behind him for a surprise attack, leading him say, "TO DESTROY YOU!", while turning around to land a solid blow on Medusa's shocked face. And he doesn't stop. By using his Holy Web Fists in conjunction with his Crawler Assault technique, he demolishes her face before using a repulsor-powered Web Strike Kick to her eye, causing her to scream in pain.

Shocked by the mortal's spider-power, and more enraged that he hurt her, Medusa fires another eye blast that Spidey struggles to block but is ultimately overpowered and blown away. His friends fight in his stead, unleashing incredible attacks that distract and counter her teleporting so Sonic could land an air-shaking Spin Dash to her face that staggers her. "EVEN AMONG HUMANS, ABSOLUTE BARBARIANS, LIKE YOU AVENGERS WHO WOULD RAISE THEIR FISTS AGAINST GODS, ARE PARTICULARLY UNNEEDED IN MY WORLD!" Medusa snarled, nearly smacking the hedgehog with her staff if he wasn't saved by his own superspeed.

"Don't get ahead of yourself! This world belongs to the people, not selfish snakes that blame others for their problems in life!" Sonic retorted high in the air, angering the god into firing a massive energy beam that he evades quickly by flying to the ground and cupping his hands together to charge up a massive beam of his own. "GOD SONIC WIND!" He screamed furiously, unleashing the green-colored blast that strikes Medusa's barrier, which he quickly shatters and inflicts mighty damage to the goddess.

Though she was harmed, Medusa still has the last laugh by activating hidden mines around Sonic that knocks him out of the fight for a bit. She then uses her powers to force both Pit and Weiss far away from the action, having them scream and leaving Spidey and Lucina to fend for themselves. 'Pit, Weiss, are you all right?! I'll try to get you close again. Hold on!' Palutena said calmly.

"How do you stay so calm?" Pit noticed.

'Panic isn't good for a goddess's image.' Palutena quipped.

"Pit, I'm going to speed you up with Time Dilation! Distract her with rapid shots for me!" Weiss ordered whilst preparing the Time Dilation Glyph for him.

"This better be awesome!" Pit complied to her commands by positioning himself on the glyph.

"YOUR DEFEAT WAS FORESEEN BY THE FATES! WHAT WAS IT THEY WROTE? 'THE SKY WILL FALL AND THE REALMS SHALL BE CONSUMED…'?" Medusa mocked while nearly overwhelming Spidey, Lucina, and a recovered Sonic.

Suddenly, the dark goddess was intercepted by a relentless arrow assault from Pit blitzing through the sky thanks to Time Dilation, giving time for Weiss to glow orange and create a circular reddish-purple aura around herself. "Don't believe everything you read. COLD FLARE!" She retorted, unleashing multiple beams of that same energy at her foe, freezing her so a heart-piercing bow shot from Pit would cause further pain whilst shattering her imprisonment.

'Now's your chance!' Palutena said, using her own god power to bind her weakened rival in place, 'The good news is that I've chained Medusa's legs in place for you. The bad news is that you'll have to get up close and personal with her.'

"YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT!" Medusa shouted furiously, raising her hand to release a poisonous mist that is taken aback by the heroes.

"Ugh! Nasty!" Spidey remarked in disgust.

'Is there any part of her that ISN'T a weapon? I guess it's to be expected.' Palutena commented.

"Lucina, get back and get ready to charge! We'll clear the air for you!" Spidey ordered his swordswoman.

"Aye!" complied Lucina, performing one magnificent backflip from the battle to charge up her god power by enlarging her Genesis Falchion.

Sonic's winds dispels the poisonous gas as quickly as Medusa shooting energy blasts that knocks him back. The combined talent of Spidey, Pit, and Weiss fends off her mines and claw slashes, and once Sonic recovered, their enhanced power begins overwhelming the dark god into making a furious threat, "AFTER I KILL YOU, I'M GONNA BURN THE ANNOYING HUMAN RACE INTO CINDERS FOR YOUR CONTINUOUS INSOLENCE!"

"I won't allow you to tarnish this world's future! This is where you fall! CRITICAL DRAGON SLASH!" Lucina retorted, as her righteous fury pushes her to charge straight for the restrained god at blinding speed and delivering an extremely powerful outward slash with her gigantic sword to behead her, much to her friends' crazy surprise reactions.

'OH MY…!' Palutena exclaimed.

"Jeez, Lucina! I know that happened in the myths, but you didn't have to be so hardcore 'bout it!" Sonic quipped.

Looking confused and innocently naïve about it, Lucina rubs the back of her head saying, "I mean…she was the enemy."

BGM-Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero OST-Awakening

"Uuuuuuuuuuugh…" Horrifically to all, Medusa is still alive. It is well-known that long ago, Palutena cursed her with a hideous form. Unable to face the monstrosity she had become, Medusa used her magic to maintain a mask of beauty. A façade that falls as she's now forced to rise into the air and reveal that transformed face that resembles that of a cycloptic monster, putting all her strength into this if it means defeating the Avengers.

"Her head!" Pit exclaimed in horrific shock.

"She's still alive?!" Spidey realized.

'Now THIS is the Medusa I remember.' Palutena proclaimed, just as Monster Medusa begins chasing the heroes through the air.

"She's uglier than she was before!" Sonic retorted, with the heroes narrowly avoiding her frightening onslaught of eye attacks, large laser beams, and dark energy blasts.

'I can't believe she's still fighting like this. But this is a battle we cannot lose. You must overcome the darkness of the Underworld with light!' Palutena encouraged them to give it their all one last time.

"The fight against evil ends here!" Pit declared firmly.

"Scatter!" Spidey ordered.

Upon his friends dispersing in a blur, Spidey halts to face Medusa alone. The demon god fires a roaring energy blast that is as swiftly and fiercely deflected as the Web Warrior activating his X-Aura for the power to do that and grab her by her snake hairs. "HRRRRAAAAAAAAARGH!" He yelled while furiously spinning her around, gaining the momentum to throw her at Sonic with his windy kick, which launches her to Weiss with her chilling strike, which then knocks her over for Lucina to ricochet with a fearsome slash.

"PIT!" Lucina shouted at him to be ready.

"HI-YAH!" Pit unleashes a furious dropkick onto Medusa's eye, sending her flying and forcing her head to reattach to her body.

'Now, Avengers! The eye!' Palutena ordered them to attack it while she's weakened.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAWR!" The Dimensional Heroes let out a mighty roar alongside an all-out energy onslaught that pushes their mutual foe to the very brink of defeat.

Monster Medusa tastes her end with each exhausted pant she takes. She doesn't want to lose. She absolutely refuses to lose to mortal enemies and mortals alike. In another reality, this is where she would freeze up and wither into nothing. But thanks to her alliance with Loki, she still has herself a secret weapon for just this event. "GRANT ME MY WISH…FUSE ME WITH THE ULTIMATE POWER…" She muttered weakly, shooting a death glare at her enemies upon snarling, "NORN STONE OF OMNIPOTENCE!", and summoning to the field with a daunting flex is a purple Norn Stone glowing with violet fury.

'A FOURTH Super Norn Stone?!' Palutena retorted, watching with great horror at the Super Norn Stone fusing with the Dark Goddess so it may double Medusa's size as well as envelop her in a dark purple aura that corrupts the entire arena and intimidates the heroes that are still eager to defeat her.

BGM-One Piece: Pirate Warriors OST-Bad Sign

"Hehehehe…HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Monster Medusa has lost her mind, allowing this new god power to break her down into a mad cackle and unleash even madder attacks. "BEGONE!" She fires a colossal energy blast that blows back all but Spider-Man, who just barely endured and falls to a knee weak and vulnerable to more of her magic. "TURN TO STONE!" A simple finger beam petrifies the webslinger, turning him into stone. "BREAK!" She buries the frozen hero into the cracked ground with just a punch, then stomps on him with her foot as it feels him cracking underneath. "THIS IS DIVINE RETRIBUTION. MORTALS LIKE YOU…DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TRY TO ACT LIKE GODS?!" She moves away her foot, leaving the petrified spider cracking underneath rubble, "LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS! IN THIS WORLD…YOU EITHER RESPECT YOUR GOD OR KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE CRUSHED!"

As the spider-stone bursts into pieces, it looks like the man has met his end. But, and to Medusa's absolute horror, what burst out of the stone was an imposing aura that shadows a transforming Spider-Man. The aura then disperses, revealing the Web Warrior has once again undergone his Beast Out transformation. Further enhanced from fusing the Other Power with his Iron Spider Armor, granting it reinforced spiky shoulder pads and a head designed in the likeness of a man-spider head.

"I may be a mortal, I may have my head up…but nobody will crush me!" The newly-formed Iron Beast Spider declared vigorously at the dark god.

Medusa argues, "NO ONE WILL CRUSH YOU…!? YOUR UNFOUNDED CONFIDENCE COMES FROM YOUR LACK OF EXPERIENCE…"

"Because my webs can be bouncy." Spidey intervened casually.

"HUH?!" Medusa reacted with an overwhelming dumbfounded expression on her face that it's almost hilarious.

BGM-Transformers Cybertron OST-Courageous Theme

"Time to show you what mortals are made of!" Spidey declares this to be the final assault that will finally put a stop to the Dark Goddess's schemes.

Iron Beast Spider instantly surges with unbelievable beasty speeds, viciously striking the titanic goddess with a flying kick that packs such overwhelming tremendous force that Medusa pukes out blood before sent reeling away to the edges of the giant arena. 'What incredible power!' Palutena commented while taken aback in awe. In a roar of ungodly fury, Medusa retaliates by grabbing Spidey whole, only for her hand to explode from his unstoppable monstrous power. Energy blasts and spears can't catch up to his insane dodging speed. Erupt volcanic flames beneath him doesn't slow him from unleashing a double claw slash that carves out more blood. He then morphs his arm into an arachnid mouth that rakes the screaming goddess with rapidfire web bullets. Then finally, he lands on the ground to charge repulsor energy with both his hands and spider-legs to form an energy sphere before himself.

"NOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!" Iron Beast Spider roared at his friends to unleash their own ultimate attack, before unleashing his own massive energy wave alongside a ferocious, "HAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

"RAAAAAAAWR!" yelled Pit, fiercely shooting out his strongest light arrow.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAH!" screamed God Sonic, furiously firing a gigantic spiral of wind.

"HIIIYAAAAAAH!" cried God Weiss, heatedly unleashing a powerful beam of cold energy.

"URRRAAAAAAAAAA!" bellowed God Lucina, wrathfully releasing a spiraling blast of energy from her sword.

"CROSSOVER COMBINATION!" The Dimensional Avengers roared as all their ultimate attacks fuse into one all-mighty finishing beam that utterly eclipses Medusa in both size and power.

Too powerless and too horrified to save herself, Medusa takes the full force of their assembled attack that she can feel is shredding her to atoms with absolute agony, causing her to cry out, "IMPOSSIBLE…", as the Norn Stone of Omnipotence's power is burning away from her dying soul.

The Crossover Combination ends with Monster Medusa looking completely drained and absolutely defeated. She tries reaching out for the sky, making it look like she has another trick up her sleeve. Not this time. This time, her body freezes in place, and before long, it withers away into dramatic dust. Light from outside begins to overwhelm Underworld Castle, causing it to break apart and allow its remains to be drawn up into the sky, all while the Goddess Avengers Alliance flee so they may have a victorious viewing of the Underworld Army's end.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-False Ending

"ALL RIGHT!" shouted the five superteens sharing a triumphant high-five for their amazing efforts in saving two worlds from Medusa.

"Woohoo!" Spidey hollered, after deactivating his Beast Form.

"We did it! We really did it!" Pit expressed happily in the air.

'Congratulations! I know it wasn't always easy.' Palutena praised them for a job well done.

"Aw, but it was so worth it! With the world at peace again, even the sun feels warmer." Pit said.

"There is still Loki to worry about." Lucina reminded everyone.

"Oh don't be such a party pooper. Enjoy the moment! His plans are crippled with Medusa and her Divine Shadow out of the picture anyway. We'll save Harry and deal with Reindeer Games later." Sonic quipped.

"AFTER a day off in a hot spring." Weiss smiled.

'Aw, you're so cute, guys.' Palutena teased.

"Ahahahahahaha!" All heroes laughed as they continue to embrace the light that has overtaken the darkness forever.

'Now wait just a second.' Or not, as an unknown voice interrupts the celebrations.

"Huh?" Pit remarked in confusion.

'Did you hear something?' Palutena asked.

'I said wait just a second.'

"I've got to be hearing things." Spidey claimed, until his fears are worsened by his Spider-Sense alerting him to a grave threat that's coming in hot, "And…sensing someone even worse than Medusa?!"

Out of nowhere, a giant demonic hand emerges from another dimension and tears down the sky like its ripping off a page from a comic book. "HA HA HA HA HA!" The sunny sky is seamlessly replaced with laughing hellish flames. And making his grand entrance from those flames is a titanic, muscular, humanoid demon-like deity with purple skin, red tattoos, and a cape made out of darkness and fire. As well as an eerie smile that instantly makes him scarier than Medusa to the tiny heroes that are flabbergasted by his sudden appearance.

'Hades?!' Palutena reacted with great shock and recognition.

"Who's Hades?" The clueless Pit asked.

"The true master of the Underworld." answered Loki, finally returning to confront his enemies by standing atop of his new demon friend's shoulder.

"Loki!" Sonic scowled.

"Should've seen this coming…" Spidey sighed, shrugging while shaking his non-surprised head as it makes much more sense for Hades to be the Underworld Ruler, as said in Greek Myth.

"SORRY TO KEEP YOU WAITING. BUT NOW THAT I'M HERE, LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED. WELCOME TO MY UNDERWORLD, PITTY PAT. YOU TOO, PRETTY PALUTENA. AND LET'S NOT FORGET THE MARVELOUS KID AVENGERS: BUGS BUGGY, RATS, ICE QUEEN, AND SWORD PRINCESS." Hades greeted, and simultaneously insulted, his enemies.

"What's up, Fake Woods?" Spidey quipped, already not liking this guy's sarcastic demeanor.

'I'm…honored you know who I am.' Palutena responded sheepishly to her new enemy's greeting.

"SO THIS LITTLE ANGEL AND HIS MORTAL BUDDIES TOOK DOWN BIG, BAD MEDUSA ALL BY THEMSELVES. WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT! GOODNESS, YOU SHOULD PUT THIS ON YOUR RESUME!" Hades sassed.

"Uh, what's with this guy?" Pit remarks at his weird attitude.

"BUT BEFORE YOU DO, YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT I WHIPPED UP THAT MEDUSA ESPECIALLY FOR YOU." Hades confessed, much to the heroes' surprise.

'Wait, how?!' Palutena asked.

"ADD A PINCH OF MEMORIES AND LOKI'S MIND CONTROL MAGIC TO A TON OF SOULS. PUT THEM IN A BLENDER, AND HIT FRAPPÈ!" Hades quipped, confirming that Medusa was under Loki's control during their fake alliance.

"Explain yourself!" Pit demanded.

"HER THIRST FOR REVENGE WAS SO GREAT, IT SEEMED A SHAME TO LET IT GO TO WASTE. OH, PRETTY PALUTENA…YOU MUST HAVE DONE A REAL NUMBER ON HER." Hades keeps on being sassy every time he talks.

'I won't deny that.' Palutena admitted proudly.

"BUT SHE'S OLD NEWS, AND OLD NEWS BORES ME. WE MUST LOOK TO THE FUTURE, AND THAT FUTURE IS ME, THE TRUE LEADER OF THE UNDERWORLD! THE REAL DIVINE SHADOW SPOKEN IN PROPHECY! NEXT TO ME, LITTLE MISS MEDUSA'S GOING TO LOOK LIKE A SWEET, CUDDLY BUNNY." Hades declared himself to pose an even bigger threat to the dimensional heroes.

'No! This can't be happening!' Palutena retorted in disbelief.

"Oh but it is. With Hades by my side, the world I've been dreaming of for so long will soon be made manifest. A truly just and utopian existence." Loki smiled with an ominous tone that unnerves the light goddess.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Spidey angrily demanded for an answer.

"SORRY. VISITING HOURS ARE OVER. WE MUST BID YOU ADIEU." Hades snarked before vanishing to the unknown alongside his new partner Loki, leaving the heroes either confused, furious, or at a loss in how they're going to deal with an even stronger Dark God Alliance.

KFX Here: Merry Christmas, readers! KingSantaX arrived just in time to gift you all the chapter depicting the epic final battle with Goddess of Darkness Medusa. Hope you love this. Francis Elf put his back and soul to close off this arc as we immediately head straight for the Viridi portion of the story.

Nathan Ramos: Spider-Man is NOT the Master Weaver. He already has a device to travel to other dimensions. Also, he doesn't have Hyper-Sense at this part of this series, and will lose Spider Reflexes alongside other Other powers after the Ultimate Alliance Returns storyline.
