Spider-Man: Watch out! Here comes the Spider-Man! Hades and Loki were after a Wish Seed that'd help them harvest more souls. Thing is, the Wish Seed was fake, and the real prize within was an Exo Stone. We took it from its Phoenix guardian, but apparently that was part of their plan too as Loki disguised himself as Palutena and tricked humanity into thinking we stole the Seed. He's not wrong, but cursed him for being a tattletale.

Pit stands before the containment field securing the Exo Stone they acquired from Phoenix Mountain earlier today. He just stares at its golden allure, fascinated by the small gemstone that commands infinite power. The angel is so captivated that the moment he reaches out to touch it, the furious voice of a spider erupts from the nearest computer desk to scold him, "PIT! What did I say about the cosmic gemstone that can destroy the universe?!"

"Sorry, sorry!" Pit apologized, sheepishly at the unmasked Spider-Man.

"What am I going to do with you…?" Peter shrugged with a tired sigh.

Just then, Palutena and the other Dimensional Avengers enter the lab in hopes for updates on what this Exo Stone is capable of. "Did you learn anything?" Palutena asked the spider-scientist.

"Yup. This is an Exo Stone, all right. One of eight infinitely powerful gems tied to different aspects of the multiverse, created by Chaos Control from eight singularities." Spidey reminded everyone of what Exo Stones truly are, before going into depth with their new Stone, "This Stone right here, I'm calling it the Dream Stone. Jam-packed with dreams and can grant the wishes of anyone who possesses it."

"So it really is a Wish Seed." Lucina commented.

"Power like that has to have limits, right? Can only grant three wishes before using up all its power like a genie?" Pit asked.

"Not this one. The Dream Stone's power is as limitless as the universe itself. From what I can analyze anyway." Peter elaborated.

"Whoa." Pit remarked in amazement at the Stone's virtually unlimited power.

"A gem created from everyone's dreams…Reminds me of the Precioustone from Maginaryworld." Sonic recalled from a shuffling adventure in a world of dreams.

"Maginaryworld? You're making that up." Weiss retorted.

"No, it's for real. I've been there with Tails and others. Helped the Goddess of Dreams when her nightmares got the best of her. She's a lot like Palutena." Sonic replied, comparing the two goddesses.

"Would love to chat with her one day." Palutena responded.

"It is fortunate we procured the Dream Stone before the Underworld. I do not want to imagine how they would abuse its power." Lucina said, changing topics.

"Why imagine? They already got their wish by causing total mayhem worldwide." retorted Peter, projecting to everyone multiple holographic screens displaying hundreds of nations waging deadly wars with each other because of the Underworld's trickery.

"All because of Loki using my face. Curse my old friend for this mischief. I will never forgive him!" Palutena scowled, angrily disowning her once Asgardian friend.

"Lady Palutena, we WILL save your reputation! This I swear on my life!" Pit exclaimed determinedly to her.

"Then what are we waiting for? We have an Underworld to destroy!" Palutena declared, ready to send everyone to their next mission.

"I'll be taking this, just in case." said Sonic, taking the Dream Stone from its containment.

"Just be careful. I dream of earning a decent paycheck from Jameson and I don't want YOU to ruin it." grimaced Spidey upon putting on his mask.

Sonic laughs while playing with the Stone a little, "No promises."

Later…

"The Avengers Police reporting for duty!" Pit joked, upon his high-flying team leaping through the door and venturing through the skies overlooking a disastrous battlefield.

"Oh lord…It's even worse in person…" Iron Spider muttered, horrified while watching massive human armies clashing in a bloody war that were deceived into waging.

'The humans have fallen for Hades's hoax. They're killing themselves over that fantasy.' Palutena announced sadly.

"It looks like entire nations are fighting each other." Pit observed.

"This is terrible…The whole world is at war." Weiss commented gloomily.

"How could we let this happen…?" Lucina remarked somberly.

'The Underworld Army is here to gather souls. Clearly, they expect many casualties.' Palutena noticed.

"We gotta stop this war now! It's gettin' outta control!" Sonic scowled angrily.

'We can't stop a war this big right now. Focus on the Underworld Army.' Palutena argued.

"Darn it!" Sonic retorted, furiously reluctant to fight incoming Underworld hordes when he's most worried about humans killing each other for no reason.

Spider-Man is feeling just as infuriated at their warring predicament. All this bloodshed because of a lie. Because of gods loving to play with human lives like their expendable toys. Combined with the guilt he feels for letting things get this bad, he charges up a raging repulsor blast that annihilates the approaching monster horde. "Damn you, Loki…Mark my words, you will PAY for all the lives being slaughtered!" He promised with a vengeance. Unfortunately, his explosive attack caught the attention of some humans that quickly look up to investigate.

"What was that?"

"Those must be the Dimensional Avengers!"

"Lady Palutena was right!"

"THIEVES! GIVE US THE WISH SEED!"

Suddenly the heroes' view is filled with arrows, catapulted flaming rocks, and a storm of other deadly human weapons that scares them into making evasive maneuvers. "WHAT THE HECK?! WE'RE ON YOUR SIDE!" Pit shouted angrily at the humans.

"It's no use, Pit. We're public enemy number one thanks to Loki. It'll take a miracle to regain their trust." Weiss retorted.

"Not like we were that famous to begin with." Sonic quipped.

"So things are going exactly as the Tricksters planned." Pit said.

'They spread the rumor about the Wish Seed. And the humans were gullible enough to believe it.' Palutena remarked.

"Us TOO, remember!" Spidey snapped at the arrogant goddess, "We were the only ones capable of taking the Wish Seed! If we knew it was a fake, none of this would be happening!"

'If we didn't take action, we would have never known the Seed was hiding the Dream Stone and the Underworld would've gotten away with it, leaving humanity to be burned by the Phoenix! It was a lose-lose situation!' Palutena argued intensely with the spider-leader.

"If only we'd had a chance to tell them the Wish Seed was a fake." Pit said while briefly flying down over the war, "Now look at them. It's like they've lost their humanity, and all they have left is…brutality!" He then thinks for a moment, until his brain engineers a dangerously hopeful idea, "I know! We can use the Dream Stone to wish everything back to normal!"

"Absolutely not!" Spidey retorted adamantly.

"Why?! People are dying everywhere! We have the power to stop this!" Pit began arguing with his human mentor.

"This power can shatter DIMENSIONS if we make one tiny mistake! The Exo Stones are the greatest power in the multiverse! Unparalleled in their destructive capabilities! Just one is too much for mortals AND gods to control!" Spidey retorted.

"That didn't stop you guys from using them!" Pit refuted.

"Only as a last resort! We haven't even begun practicing with the Dream Stone, and your first wish is to stop a world war? We could easily end it by destroying the whole planet!" Peter rebutted, which got the angel realizing he was close to making a major mistake. Calmly solemn, he then lectures his protégé, "With great power there must also come great responsibility. We are heroes. We must not abuse our power or we'll be consumed by it and make terrible mistakes. I learned that lesson the hard way the day I lost my uncle. We must become greater for the sake of the people we swore to protect."

Pit takes this important lesson to heart. As does Palutena in secret with a sombering expression. She was born with the ultimate power of a god, yet is starting to feel like she hasn't used her power with the utmost responsibility. Which is what Loki took advantage of. She feels like she could do so much more but is unsure what to do or how to proceed. Until she was startled by a bright light suddenly shining in the sky, 'HUH?!'

"What's wrong?!" Pit retorted.

"What is THAT?!" Sonic also noticed the bright light before the others.

"We have to pull back! NOW!" Spidey urged his team.

BGM-Spider-Man 3 (Game) OST-Shared Tension (Part 2)

The Multiversal Heroes make a hasty retreat as the mysterious meteor falls closer. But just before Spider-Man could escape its radius, he is suddenly blindsighted by a devastating punch from a returning New Goblin that knocks him out of the air. "SPIDEY!" Pit screamed out his name in horror.

Upon crashlanding in the middle of the battlefield, Spidey is dogpiled by a group of Goblin Robo Warriors that are using all of their strength to pin him down. New Goblin scoffs callously, leaving his former best friend to face his fate alone. "Damn it…HARRYYYYYYYYY!" Spidey cursed him out for putting him in this unbreakable predicament. The looming meteor is seconds away from impacting the surface, just as another Goblin Robo Warrior that stands before Peter is seconds away from self-destructing. "What?!" He reacted with horrid shock as he knows escape is impossible.

BGM End

All at once, the robots self-destructed, just as the mysterious meteor crashed and cause a massive explosion engulfing the battlefield. Spider-Man included. Pit and the remaining Avengers survived, hovering far from the explosion and left horrified while silently trying to process what just happened. And, if Spider-Man is alive. 'He's gone…Spider-Man's presence is gone…' Palutena stated with a heavy heart.

Upon hearing the words he so desperately didn't want to hear, Pit breaks down in tears and grief with a mourning Lucina comforting him. 'Pit…' Palutena muttered with quiet guilt as she too is affected by Peter's apparent death.

"Peter deserved his fate."

BGM-Mega Man ZX OST- Fate - Deep-Seated Grudge (Tunes Ver.)

The mocking New Goblin appears behind the heroes as sudden as a furious Sonic latching onto his costume to butt heads with his friend's murderer, "HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT WITH A STRAIGHT FACE?! HE IS YOUR BEST FRIEND!"

"WAS my best friend." Harry retorted coldly, before throwing the hedgehog off his chest.

"Stop lying to yourself! He meant much to you as you meant to him!" Weiss argued angrily with her fellow rich kid with issues.

"Don't pretend you know me." Harry said, still speaking with the cold tone that doesn't scare the ice heiress.

"We're more alike than you think." Weiss retorted glaringly.

"Then be grateful I spared you a lot of pain. Spider-Man was a devil. Kept secrets that got people killed. Endangered those he claimed to love. This world is no different. His actions started a war that consumed the planet." Harry argued calmly.

"Your masters are responsible for destroying this world! How can you be so blind to their evil?!" Lucina snapped furiously at the hate-consumed Goblin.

"Good and evil doesn't matter to gods. I will do what is necessary to create a better world where lying scum like Spider-Man don't exist." Goblin vowed stoically.

"He DIDN'T kill your dad! Why can't you understand that?! Why can't you see the light?!" Pit retorted, still grieving over the loss of Spider-Man.

"The light abandoned me when I lost my father! Soon the darkness will bring him back to life!" Goblin contended.

'You are WAY over your little head if you think I'll allow that to happen!' Palutena threatened the young Osborn.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Viridi, Goddess of Nature

Harry shifts into a menacing fighting stance that prompts the heroes to do the same with imposing expressions. But before a raging fight could break out, an unfamiliar voice begins to laugh proudly, "HA HA HA HA HA HA! NICE SHOT, IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF!" Both Harry and the Heroes curiously turn to look at a large projection of a mysterious young girl appearing next to the explosion, "GOOD RIDDANCE, HUMAN SCUM! THE WORLD'S BETTER OFF WITHOUT YOU!" She claimed before disappearing.

"Viridi." Harry snarled.

"Who?" Sonic retorted confusedly.

"The goddess of nature. So that bomb was her doing." Harry realized, "You might as well deal with her first. I'll be waiting." He then flies off, leaving this new threat to the heroes that were furiously reluctant to follow his advice.

'So you're the famous Palutena. I hear you've been busy.' Viridi begins a telepathic conversation with the Goddess Avengers Alliance.

'And you're Viridi, ruler of the earth and all living things.' Palutena reveals her knowledge of the nature goddess.

Viridi mockingly scoffs, 'I didn't know I had a fan club.'

"WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS?!" Pit furiously demanded an answer for the genocide she unleashed on the human race.

'Humans are driven by selfish desire. They think only of themselves. They were killing each other for what? A wish?! A FAKE wish?! A Stone of infinite POWER?! They've strayed too far from their intended path.' Virid claimed about the current state of mankind.

"What intended path? Selfish people like you have no right to choose our destiny! We're free to live as we please!" Sonic argued with the nature goddess.

'And I don't care! You animals have abused your freedom for the last time! It's how the Exo Stones came to be in the first place! That's where my Reset Bombs come in—to help return Earth to its natural state!' Viridi retorted.

'But aren't humans living beings too? Yet you think nothing of exterminating them.' Palutena supported the hedgehog's argument.

Viridi laughs, 'That's rich coming from you! You don't seem to have much of a problem slaughtering Underworld forces.'

"But that's totally different!" Weiss retorted, as the heroes approach the outside of a pink forest born from the Reset Bomb.

'We're defending the earth and heavens from those who seek their destruction.' Palutena proclaimed.

"Let's take a closer look, team." Lucina commanded.

The heroes venture inside the Reset Bomb Forest, flying past the skeletons of human structures that are overgrown by a web of mutated branches. "This is a pretty twisted version of nature." Pit commented with visible disgust.

'HUMANS massacre Earth's creatures, decimate the trees, and exploit the land. THEY'RE the twisted ones.' Viridi continues her argument with sympathetic facts.

"What about conservationists? Gardeners? Explorers and tree huggers? There are thousands of humans out there that love nature as much as you! You consider them enemies of life too?" Sonic refuted with just as good facts.

'I see through their lies. They only pretend to love nature so they may find a weakness to exploit for their oil refineries.' Viridi retorted.

"Some do that, but not all. I've been fighting baddies that threaten nature with their machines for years. It's true that the destruction of the environment is a tragedy. But, it's wrong of you to threaten humans when you're just as bad! The extremes you're going through to protect nature are insane!" Sonic argued.

'You're a so-called hero! I'm a god! I am allowed to do what is absolutely necessary to protect the world from ALL the evil that is humanity!' Viridi snapped at the hedgehog, before asking, 'Tell me, Palutena, why do they deserve special treatment?!'

'Because, of all creatures, humans are closest to the gods. Gods cannot intervene in mankind's affairs as you have. You have no right.' Palutena answered.

'No right?! Humans are trampling over the rights of every other living thing! Should I just sit back and watch as they continue to destroy the earth? No, I must exterminate them all before it's too late!' Viridi retorted adamantly.

"You'll be tainting nature with blood! Nature can only reach its true beauty when there are people alive to share it with!" Sonic snapped vehemently.

'That's right. People like my people.' Viridi sassed.

'Forget it, Sonic. There's just no reasoning with her.' Palutena said.

"I have to admit, she has a valid point. But wiping out humanity is NOT the answer." Pit believed wholeheartedly.

'I agree completely. You've given us no choice but to oppose you, Viridi.' Palutena challenged her new god rival.

'Oh! That's brave of you, but the Forces of Nature…' Viridi summons a horde of her nature-powered minions to oppose the heroes, like Nutskis the flying acorns and a giant fossilized fish known as a Lurchthorn, 'We're not what you're used to.'

"Doesn't mean they'll be challenging!" Sonic snarked, smirkingly leading the charge against the Forces of Nature. Many Nutskis come to face the flying Blue Blur that immediately kills one of them with a Spin Dash and counters an energy shot from another with a kick, quickly backing away to spin out a booming shockwave that demolishes the remaining mutated acorns. Other Nature monsters begin swarming Pit, forcing him to slow down to fight them off. But as he becomes overwhelmed with enemy fire, he is forced to hide behind a rock and pick them off from there. Lucina remains calm while rapidly firing energy shots to clear the sky of monsters until she was attacked by the Lurchthorn. Luckily for the princess, Weiss has her back with missiles that aim straight for the head and obliterate the flying fish.

'I'm surprised you've survived this long, Avengers.' Viridi mocked.

"We'll take that as a compliment!" Pit quipped.

"Are you ready to surrender?" Lucina threatened.

'Hardly. I think it's time you meet one of my finest warriors, Come on out, Cragalanche!' Viridi exclaimed.

From her sudden command, a bright yellow sphere flies down past the heroes, causing them to lose their balance and fall from the sky screaming, "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOA!"

'Avengers!' Palutena exclaimed with concerned surprise.

Somewhere in the Reset Bomb Forest…

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO…!" screamed Sonic while falling down from the sky, landing with his head stuck in the ground. After a brief struggle, he pulls his head out and gasps for air, just a mere second before Weiss, Pit, Lucina, and the two Sky-Cycles fall atop of him one by one. "Why does this keep happening to me…?" Sonic groaned tiredly, as this wouldn't be the first time he faceplanted from a mighty fall.

'Are you OK, guys?' The concerned Palutena asked.

"I think so…" Lucina claimed weakly, as the party get off of Sonic so they may all recover on their own two feet.

'Now, Pit, you are the captain of Palutena's guard, yes? And the Dimensional Avengers are self-proclaimed Mightiest Heroes of the Multiverse. I look forward to seeing how you all fare against Cragalanche.' Viridi challenged the heroes.

"You should be more worried about how HE fares against US!" Pit snarked.

'Careful, Pit. I need you in good shape. Besides you guys, all I've got are the centurions. You know, maybe I should open a boot camp to toughen them up.' Palutena said.

"Still wouldn't give them muscles like these!" Pit flexes his non-existent muscles.

"What muscles?" Weiss teased him.

"Hurtful!" Pit retorted.

While smiling at the teased angel, Weiss is curious upon hearing her Scroll ring. She takes it out to check why its ringing. And much to her shock, she discovers why as she mutters, "No way…"

"What's wrong?" Pit asked her.

"I'm picking up an SOS signal…from the Iron Spider." Weiss revealed.

"Spider-Man is alive?!" Pit reacted with great surprise.

'Impossible!' Palutena sincerely thought he died from Viridi's attack.

'Oh, you mean the Bug of New York? Pretty certain I saw him dead center below my Reset Bomb while piled on by exploding robots. There's no WAY he survived. He's a splattered spider now.' Viridi mocked, calmly believing the superhero is dead.

Weiss confidently smirks, "I wouldn't underestimate Spider-Man. As annoying as that idiot is, he survived much worse because we share an absolute faith with each other."

"The Hands of Death could not defeat him. The Web of Fate could not hold him. And once we find him, you will not see the end of this day!" Lucina smirkingly threatened the Nature Goddess.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Reset Bomb Forest

'Petulant children! I cannot wait to watch you DIE!' Viridi exasperated at their insolence before ordering, 'Forces of Nature, find Spider-Man and squash him for good this time!'

"Let's follow his signal and hurry to him first!" Sonic takes charge as he begins leading the team through the forest to find Spider-Man before Viridi.

It's the Avengers versus the Forces of Nature in a high-speed race to determine which side will find Spider-Man first. Sonic has already taken a massive lead for his team, running through the insides of a tree trunk and bouncing off ruins. Pit is quick to catch up, jumping on a long vine that he uses to have fun swinging through the air. "Good! There are survivors!" said Lucina upon approaching some humans that survived the Reset Bomb.

'They're a stubborn bunch, hanging on like that. Set as many free as you can.' Palutena instructed.

"Uh…stubborn?" Lucina raised an insulted eyebrow while cutting free the survivors.

'Oh, I didn't mean it like that.' Palutena retorted sheepishly while using her power to warp the survivors to safety.

'Maybe what you meant to say was "insignificant".' Viridi snarked.

As they travel deeper into the Reset Bomb Forest, the heroes are confronted by more Nature troops that Weiss insist in fighting alone. Channeling the power of ISO-Fire Dust in her weapon, a single fire wave was enough to burn the monsters to a crisp, much to the heiress's cocky amusement. "I can still make out buildings in this forest." Pit comments on his surroundings.

"There must have been a town here." Sonic said while traversing the area.

'Reset Bombs won't harm wildlife or natural habitats. Their only purpose is the obliteration of humankind.' Viridi explained.

"Oh, is that all?" Pit snarked.

"I suppose that accounts for all the life in here." Sonic noted.

'In a few years, this place will be completely covered in green. Flowers will bloom, trees will grow, and the natural food chain will take over. It will be mankind's winter and the beginning of MY spring!' Viridi boasted.

"It's the summer where we're from. Mind we just get together and have fun at the beach?" Sonic smirked.

'No!' Viridi retorted angrily.

While proceeding through the forest, the dimensional party look to have come across a dead end until they spot a nearby grind rail. 'You can't go any further, so I've set up a grind rail.' Palutena told them.

"Thank you kindly!" said Pit, with the team leaping onto and grinding speedily down the rail.

'It's tangled in there, so I had to wind it around the trees.' Palutena said.

'Calling you a snake would be an insult to snakes! But you are crafty. I'll give you that.' Viridi responded, giving compliments where it's due.

Not long after their grind rail fun, the heroes encounter a weird Nature troop goes from looking like an old man to a furious monster that loves firing fireballs at enemies. "Man, look at the face on this guy!" Pit mocked while dodging its fiery attacks.

'That's a Jitterthug. Melee attacks won't hurt him at all when he's red. And when he's green, shooting him won't work! What are you going to do NOW?!' Viridi mockingly explained to them exactly how her minion operates.

"Uh…I guess we'll just melee him when he's green and shoot him when he's red!" Pit responded, easily coming up with a countermeasure thanks to the goddess's babbling blunder.

'But…Oh, darn it!' Viridi cursed herself.

"Thanks for the advice!" snarked Lucina, allowing Pit to shoot the furious Jitterthug until it turns a calming green for the princess to kill with a swift slash.

Afterwards, the gang arrives at an area with, "An Aether Ring!", as noticed by Pit.

'You're a lucky angel, Pit.' Palutena said.

"Believe me, I know. These things drive smoooooth!" smiled Pit, freely moving down a tree trunk and massacring everything in his path to find Spider-Man with his rapid firing gun.

'Plus, they provide protection AND firepower. Is that good design or WHAT!' Palutena remarked.

From taking the slope down to another level, Lucina takes a quick moment to comment on her massive forested surroundings, "This place is big."

'There's another Aether Ring in the middle of that giant tree for you.' Palutena pointed out for the princess, 'Usually humans only see it as a useless pile of rocks, but not for you guys since you're working with me.'

"But where in the giant tree?" Lucina questioned while entering the Aether Ring for herself to use against an enemy horde.

'Ask Viridi.' Palutena responded.

'I installed it for my army to use. …But no one passed Driver's Ed.' Viridi answered.

'I'm not surprised.' Palutena snarked.

"I can't believe you didn't think of that before." Sonic commented.

'You were attacking! I was busy! Leave me alone!' Viridi retorted shyly.

"Sure thing." Sonic quipped before glancing to Weiss, "How close are we to Webs?"

"Not very far." Weiss checked her Scroll.

'The Spider is mine!' Viridi declared selfishly.

'No, he's mine! I had him first!' Palutena clashed, refusing to give up her spider-friend to other gods.

'Pfft! Please! He doesn't fit in with you! Spiders play a critical purpose in nature. They control the insect population that could otherwise devastate crops. Webhead holds the spirit of the Legendary Predator. Get that beast properly trained and no prey will ever escape my wrath!' Viridi declared, now more interested in capturing Spider-Man after realizing how useful he can be for her cause.

"Webs may be into blondes but not when they're snot-nosed brats!" Sonic snarked, insulting the nature goddess.

'Watch who you're calling a brat, you sewer rat!' Viridi threatened angrily.

Soon, the heroes fall into a large Hot Spring pool, much to Pit's overwhelming happiness, "What is this? A hot spring! A HUGE hot spring!"

'It's nature's bathtub.' Palutena said while her angel has his swimming fun in the spring.

"And over there is Spider-Man's not-grave." Weiss points down to a large surface where her friend's SOS signal has been emanating from.

After jumping to that surface, Sonic jokes, "Anyone have a drill?"

"I do!" Pit summons to his hand a Drill Arm.

"Drill from here." Weiss directs him to the best spot to start drilling.

BGM-Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection OST-Resurrection

Pit then slams his Drill Arm into the ground and will not stop drilling until he unearths his best friend. His human mentor. The man he has come to love as a big brother and respect as an amazing hero. He feels close, as he hears something or someone trying to punch themselves free from beneath so much rocks and vines. Pit asks, "Spidey, is that you?", only to be frightened aback by a familiar fist that punches itself out from the ground, "YIKES! A ZOMBIE!"

Heroes and Gods alike bear witness to a certain Wallcrawler rising from his grave like an awestrucking badass. His armor is damaged bad, and his wounds look quite critical. Yet miraculously, despite the combined explosive power of the Goblin Robo Warriors and the massive Reset Bomb, he survived. The Amazing Spider-Man still lives.

"He's alive!" Lucina exclaimed happily.

'Not for long!' Having waited for this moment, Viridi summons to the field a massive Nature Army that surrounds the heroes for the sole purpose of capturing Spider-Man, 'Get him, my children!'

Countless Nature Troops lunge toward the webslinger, who still appears very weak and too unfamiliar with his surroundings that he's just staring mindlessly at the ground. A mistake they will all take to their grave. From the instant his Spider-Sense reacts to their threat, on instinct, Spider-Man Beasts Out and unleashes a ferociously demonic, "WROOOOAAAAAAAARRR! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWR!", sending massive shockwaves that spreads throughout the entire Reset Bomb Forest. His friends endure, the gods suffer a headache, and the entire Nature Army that were going to capture him are instantly shredded to numerous bits around the Goblin from outside the Forest also heard the monstrous roar and could only, and furiously, deduce that Spider-Man survived his assassination.

'Someone's cranky.' Palutena joked after witnessing that amazing massacre.

'It's unreal…How does this human still have that much power after surviving a Reset Bomb?' Viridi remarked, dumbfounded by Spider-Man's powerful resurrection.

Spider-Man returns to his normal form and deactivates his Iron Spider Armor whilst collapsing in complete exhaustion from everything he went through today. "Spider-Man!" shouted Pit, with himself and the others rushing to check their unconscious friend.

'Quick, Sonic! Use the Dream Stone to restore his health! We're allowed to use it for small stuff?' Palutena ordered.

"Yup." Sonic smiled. Upon whipping out the golden stone, Sonic says, "Dream Stone! I wish for Spider-Man to be healed right away!"

Light illuminates from the Dream Stone in response to Sonic's wish. A golden aura the unconscious arachnid, infusing his body with the cosmic energy necessary to restore him to full health. Slowly but surely, Peter's eyes open to the sight of his best friends that were extremely worried about him. "Spidey, Spidey, are you okay?! Say something!" Pit urged him.

While standing up, Spidey groans, "…Is this heaven? Skyworld has gotten thorny. Remind Palutena to mow the lawn tomorrow."

BGM-Marvel Future Revolution OST-Amazing Friend (Spider-Man Theme)

"HE'S ALIVE!" The overjoyed Pit screamed, with the friends suddenly embracing in one group hug around the revived Spider-Man.

'I have never been so happy to be wrong! Everyone was so worried! I really thought you were a goner!' Palutena said sincerely, having missed Peter greatly.

"I thought so too. Guess I'm just that stubborn. I'm lucky enough to survive a non-nuclear bomb but not win the lottery. That's just me." Spidey joked as the group hug ends and him asking, "Seriously, what happened while I was kissing death?"

'The goddess of nature, Viridi, has declared war on mankind. She believes they have corrupted the natural order and wants to erase them with her Reset Bombs. With you alive, I'm certain we can defeat her commander, Cragalanche.' Palutena brought him up to speed on everything that transpired.

'Rock beats bugs. Never in a million years can the Bug of New York defeat him!' The cocky Viridi chimed in.

"I'm assuming the sassy little girl in my head is Little Miss Poison Ivy?" Spidey snarked.

'Who are you calling little?! Show some respect!' Viridi retorted angrily.

"Why should I? You threw a temper tantrum that slaughtered thousands! I don't care what your beef is with humanity! You threaten my people, you get the ultimate spider-spanking!" Spidey declared determinedly, ready to end Viridi's reign of terror.

"Hear, hear!" Lucina agreed enthusiastically with her leader.

Infuriated from being mocked by a human, Viridi growls, 'You're a glutton for punishment! Fine! Find Cragalanche! He's close by! Can't wait to laugh when he knocks the arrogance out of you!'

"Thanks for the directions to rock his world!" Spidey quipped while spinning out a webline for him to swing and lead his friends on.

BGM-Mega Man ZX Advent OST-Twisted Vine (Tunes Ver.)

With Spider-Man back in the fight, the Forces of Nature are in for the beating of the lifetime. One goon is immediately ambushed into submission by a diving kick from the Web Warrior that is quick and acrobatic enough to dodge a massive swarm of projectiles, jumping into the air to fire two weblines at a giant Megonta bug to pull up for a furious Web Strike Slam on a terrified enemy crowd. He does not stop. The Webslinger proves to be a relentless overwhelming force that can sweepkick dance strong monsters to their doom before webbing and using two Nutskis for a wide tackling strike that clears room for him to electrify the ground that an enemy horde is standing on with electric webbing, electrocuting them all before he stomps the ground with the amazing force to erupt large, electrified webbed rocks that pulls themselves down to crush Viridi's army.

"It's so great to have you back, Spidey!" Pit said, fighting vigorously alongside Spidey and the other Avengers against more Nature goons.

"Great to be back fighting killer plants! Some goddess has been lousy with their gardening!" Spidey quipped.

'Viridi's army is called the Forces of Nature. Many of her troops are made of natural resources, like wood, dirt, and rocks.' Palutena informed.

"Eco-conscious down to her troops! Everyone's going green these days." Spidey snarked.

'I'm not GOING green; I've always BEEN green. I use cloth shopping bags. I compost my food scraps. And I separate my recycling into 15 types!' Viridi elaborated on her lifestyle.

"Now THIS is a goddess who sweats the details." Pit quipped.

'I could learn a thing or two from her.' Palutena claimed.

And thanks to Spider-Man's return, his Spider-Senses proved to be a major help that helped the heroes venture through a confusing little maze. Their last obstacle before Cragalanche. 'I think you're getting close to Cragalanche!' Palutena proclaimed.

"OK, let's go!" Spidey declared excitedly.

Wasn't long until the Dimensional Avengers walk into an arena and stumble across a large pile of rocks in the center. As they observe it, red eyes begin to glow from within before the rocks break apart and reveal the silent Cragalanche the Mighty inside.

"Cragalanche, huh? What are you, a monster truck?" Pit mocked his latest adversary.

'Pit, huh? What are YOU? A hole in the ground?' Viridi mocked her angel adversary.

"A hole that Rocky here is gonna fall in and break!" Spidey quipped as the heroes strike their fighting poses against the Nature Commander.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Boss Fight 1

Despite his massive size, Cragalanche can move at an alarmingly quick rate that forces the heroes to flee. Spider-Man finds himself personally confronted by the gray giant and his rocky punches that were easy enough to evade before throwing his own punch to his eye, with Sonic assisting by kicking his other eye. Both attacks fail to faze the commander as his eyes remain fine and his fists are strong to smack the pair across the field, all without uttering a single grunt.

"Guy doesn't talk much, does he?" Pit noticed while firing arrows at his sturdy hide.

'He's a rock. Last I checked, they're more the strong, silent type.' Viridi snarked, 'Tell you what—I'll do the talking for him. Cragalanche crush!'

On cue, Cragalanche levitates to the sky and fly at Pit with surprising agility and nearly crushing him with a harsh slam that causes an earthquake. "Wow! Nice moves!" Pit complimented.

'Yes, he's been practicing this routine all week.' Viridi said.

Lucina and Weiss pair up against the Nature Commander, with the former unleashing a fierce flurry of slashes and the latter blasting him with ice shards. Their combo does little damage and Cragalanche easily backhands the princess before firing rocks that the heiress avoids. "Attacking Cragalanche straight on won't do much damage. Swing around him to attack him from behind." Weiss advised her teammates.

"Got it!" Sonic complied, quickly running behind to find a big red weakspot on the commander's backside. He smirks, "It looks like there's a weakspot on his butt!"

Viridi growls, 'Oh, he was supposed to get that fixed!'

"Thanks for the tip!" Sonic quipped while revving up a Spin Dash.

'I didn't say anything!' Viridi retorted.

The spinballing Sonic rockets at Cragalanche's weakspot with the incredible force to topple him and force him to eat dirt. He tries getting up but Spidey wouldn't allow him, using webbing strong enough to pin down the Hulk for a few moments to keep the monster from escaping an all-out projectile assault from the combined firepower of Weiss, Pit, and Lucina.

"It's butt-kicking time! Literally!" Pit joked before assaulting the rock monster's weakness.

'Oh, shut up! You're not clever at all!' Viridi snarked.

Growing weaker while growing desperate, Cragalanche breaks free from his restraints to burrow underground for a sneak attack. His target is a wary Pit, who is hit with surprise when a large rocky hand burst from the ground to grab and drag him down. "Hands off!" Spidey comes to his little bro's rescue by web striking the hand and swinging Pit to safety, "Now we're even! Trust me when I say being stuck underground suuuuucks!"

"But I should do it to drill him out!" Pit suggested.

"Go right ahead!" Spidey lets him go for him to use his Drill Arm to burrow underground and force Cragalanche back to the surface by drilling his butt, followed up by Sonic spindashing his butt again that enrages the creature to sit down on him.

"Get your big red butt off me…" Sonic grunted, struggling to free himself from the heavy giant.

"We got your back!" Weiss punned, launching an Upperdash Arm-equipped Pit from a glyph so he may smack the monster off the hedgehog.

Spidey is quick to Web Throw the flung Cragalanche toward Lucina, who then uses Falchion to uppercut the creature high into the air with a roaring rising slash. Sonic leaps higher above the Nature Commander smirking, "Get set to get rocked!", before charging his Spin Dash to max power. And just as his weakspot is turned to be targeted, the Blue Blur rockets down and crashes into Cragalanche's butt, slamming him hard to a rocky end.

"In your rock face!" Pit taunted victoriously.

'That's your idea of a victory taunt? Please.' Viridi mocked.

Cragalanche the Mighty falls over and explodes upon defeat, with his remains flying up into the sky just as a projection of Viridi appears before the victorious heroes. "YOU PUT ON QUITE A SHOW THERE. BUT YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT THE NEXT RESET BOMB IS VERY NEARLY COMPLETE. HMM, NOW WHERE DO YOU THINK I SHOULD DROP IT THIS TIME?" She announced, leaving the heroes with a taunting laugh.

"You can't do that!" Pit retorted.

"She's just like Harry. Allowing hatred to blind her to the truth that not everyone is her enemy." Spidey commented grimly while a light shines down over the team.

'First Loki, then Hades, now Viridi? We need to figure out a plan.' Palutena said before whisking the heroes away.

BGM-Mega Man ZX OST- Fate - Deep-Seated Grudge (Tunes Ver.)

"Loki is here too? That is as surprising as hearing Palutena's obnoxious voice again."

Emerging from the shadows after the battle is over and the gods preoccupied is The Enchantress, alongside Grimadoom and Super-Skrull. "You have history with the goddess?" Grimadoom asked.

"Never liked each other when we were children." Enchantress briefly reveals her history with the Goddess of Light.

"Those brats got away with the Exo Stone." Super-Skrull scowled.

"I saw. Of course the Dimensional Avengers would beat us to the punch. A Stone that can grant wishes…That sounds useful." Grimadoom said, revealing that they have been spying on the heroes ever since their recent arrival on this world.

"We can easily steal it. Use it to wish for all eight Stones in our possession!" Super-Skrull proposed arrogantly.

"It won't be that simple, I'm afraid. That's the one limit the Dream Stone cannot break." Grimadoom refuted, having sensed the Stone cannot wish for the other seven Stones, "We can probably use it to wish for a more advanced radar."

"How should we proceed?" Enchantress asked her squad leader.

"Sounds like the Gods are warring with each other. We can use that to our advantage to establish a beachhead in secret. Learn more about this world and see if it's hiding any more Stones before the invasion." commanded Grimadoom, turning around and walking away with his party while scowling, "The Dream Stone WILL be ours! And soon…my revenge on the Avengers!"
