Pit: I'm Pit, servant of the goddess Palutena! While we continued focusing on the Underworld Army, our mission came to a halt when the situation took a turn for the worse. The Goddess of Nature, Viridi, started attacking mankind and nearly killed Spider-Man. She blames humanity for ruining nature, and while she made good points, killing people won't make things better! Between the Trickster Gods and Viridi, we definitely have our hands full!

Harry Osborn stumbles through an abyss with nothing but darkness as far as the eye could see. He doesn't know what to think. How to feel except struggle with the darkness inside of him and the repeating voice of his father, Norman Osborn. 'Give into your anger,' 'Hate him,' and 'Curse him,' are all that Harry hears through the echoing laughter of his father. And what he sees surrounding him are the looming images of his father and his psychotic alter ego, the Green Goblin, appearing and disappearing constantly. It would appear that his father is urging him to kill Spider-Man and Harry is deeply reluctant to go through with murdering his best friend. What started with him standing on his confused two feet transitions to him cowering against the haunting darkness on the floor.

'Give into your anger!'

'Hate him!'

'Curse him!'

'Hahahahahahahaha!'

As the darkness is about to consume him whole, a bright light illuminates the area as Norman is heard shouting, 'AVENGE ME! HARRY!' All of a sudden, Harry awakens in his bedroom in the Underworld, realizing that was just a nightmare he was having. A nightmare that felt so real that he rests his sweaty face on his hand to calm himself.

After putting on everything but his New Goblin mask, Harry walks out of his room where he accidently bumps into Dark Weiss and knocks her down. "Sorry." Harry said sincerely, politely offering his hand to help her up.

"That's okay." Dark Weiss casually accepts his apology, as well as his gentle hand.

"Anything new?" Harry asked for updates on the war.

"Our masters are currently leading an assault against the Forces of Nature. Dark Sonic and Dark Lucina are destroying two of Viridi's three Reset Bomb Depots. And Dark Pit's location is still unknown. It is just the two of us for the moment." Dark Weiss informed her Dark Avengers leader.

"Since we have the time, want to follow me to New York? Grab a bite?" offered Harry, basically asking her out on a date.

"As long as we're not gone too long." Dark Weiss accepted stoically.

Later at the Nexus Universe…

Harry and Dark Weiss are in casual attire eating pie at a local café in New York City. Though they come across as fearsome rivals to the Dimensional Avengers, to each other, they hit it off extremely well considering their similar upbringings in a rich family. After enjoying a bite from his pie, Harry casually tells his friend, "I knew out of everyone that my father was not the greatest man in the world. Tried everything to get his approval. Wasn't until our last chat when he said he was proud of me and promised to make things up to me."

"I am deeply sorry you never fully reconciled with Norman. Curse Peter to the pit. He is just like the White Fang to my family." Dark Weiss replied before sipping from her coffee.

"Any better than mine?" Harry quipped.

"I would argue your family is somewhat better. Your father doesn't sound as controlling nor you have to endure a little bat of a brother." Dark Weiss responded.

"Pete was considered family until he lied and stole my girlfriend." Harry said.

"Who were you dating?" Dark Weiss asked curiously.

"Mary Jane Watson. The three of us were the best of friends." Harry answered.

"Hmm." Dark Weiss takes note of that tidbit while drinking from her coffee, "And how have you been running Oscorp? You're its CEO?"

"Yeah, it's a, uh, stressful job. Reputation wasn't helped when one of my employees nearly destroyed half the city with a sun." Harry scoffed nervously.

"I'll have to be more strict when I run the Schnee Company." Dark Weiss joked dryly, which got a small laugh from her leader, "When that happens, would you consider a joint business venture?"

"Aren't we are already?" Harry quipped flirtatiously, eliciting a small smile alongside a giggle from the usually coldhearted Schnee clone.

Outside the café and across the street, however, the Mary Jane Watson of this universe was in the middle of her stroll when she caught the glimpse of Dark Weiss in the café. "Didn't know Weiss was back. Who is she with? Is she on a date?" MJ asked herself, confusing the clone for her friend. Upon capturing the shocking glance of Harry telling a waitress he's enjoying the pie, she gasps, "Harry…?" She immediately tries meeting him for answers but was blocked by a truck. And once the truck passed, both Harry and Dark Weiss vanished without a mysterious trace, leaving MJ bewildered if that was her best friend back from the dead, she's hallucinating, or it was some lookalike interested in causing trouble.

Meanwhile in the World of Kid Icarus…

"We're headin' out!" Pit announced.

Activating their fliers, the Goddess Avengers Alliance leaps through the door into a sky filled with floating islands and a massive Underworld Army waging war with the equally huge Forces of Nature. "Isn't this a sight. What party are we crashing this time?" Iron Spider joked, watching demons and plants beating the snot out of each other.

'The Underworld Army and the Forces of Nature are engaged in battle.' Palutena informed her team.

"What? Why are Hades, Loki, and Viridi fighting?" The puzzled Pit asked.

'Isn't it obvious?" Viridi suddenly chimed in.

"You again!" Sonic retorted with disdain at his new arch enemy.

'These brutes have a complete disregard for life. They're even worse than humans!' Viridi quickly explained.

An intervening Hades chuckles, 'You're one to talk, little goddess! At least I give the humans YOU kill peace after death.'

'We should have been allies, Mistress Viridi. We both share a distaste for humanity. Imagine what we could've accomplished…' Loki politely tried convincing her to join his cause.

'I know better than to trust a trickster. You want to rule over mankind. I just want them extinguished!' Viridi argued with the Asgardian.

'Either or I'm fine with.' Loki snarked.

As the Trickster and Nature Gods begin argue, Palutena realizes something, 'We have an opportunity here, Avengers. Let's use this chaos to our advantage.'

"OK. What's our target?" Pit requested.

'Viridi is planning to drop another Reset Bomb in this area.' Palutena projected to the team of their new mission objective.

"What? Where exactly?!" Lucina questioned.

'I'm still not sure.' Palutena frowned.

"And with Hades's army after them too, the humans don't stand a chance! We have to do something!" Pit retorted.

"Let me link up with D.A.N. really quick. Upload Reset Bomb data and sync with its tracking systems to trace its unique chemical compound." Spidey said. While his friends hold back mooks from both enemy factions, he uses his armor to connect with their multiversal satellite to track down the Reset Bomb. And with success, "Got a lock!"

"Science beats god magic once again. Where?" Sonic quipped.

"Right over there! And it's dropping fast!" Spidey points at the Reset Bomb descending from the sky in the distance.

"Good thing I'm faster than fast! Let's do it to it!" Sonic commanded.

"Roger! That bomb won't be resetting anything when we're done with it!" Pit vowed as the heroes fly faster and fiercer toward the falling bomb.

'What mischief are you people getting into now? Rise, my children, and pluck these dweebs from the air!' Viridi ordered her forces.

"Hey! How dare you call us dweebs? THEY'RE the only dweebs around here!" Weiss retorted, angrily pointing at the boys of the team, causing the trio to stumble before both Spidey and Sonic laugh without argument and Pit just grins sheepishly.

'I'm sorry, but that's one point for Viridi and Weiss.' Palutena laughed.

"Yeah? Well…every dweeb has his day!" Pit proclaimed.

'Hmm…Make that two points for Viridi and Weiss.' Palutena quipped.

Nature Forces rush to swarm the heroes to prevent them from reaching the Reset Bomb, but as usual they stand little chance against their high-speed teamwork. Both Sonic and Pit rocket at superspeeds, blitzing a horde from every direction and weakening them for Spider-Man to deliver the finishing kicks. Lucina blows away the remaining crowd with missiles, and when that wasn't enough, she allows Weiss to ram them into oblivion with a charged shot from her Sky-Cycle, just seconds before they reached the Reset Bomb.

"The Reset Bomb is going to wreak havoc if it hits the ground!" Weiss stated.

'There's NOTHING natural about that.' Palutena commented.

"How do we stop it?!" Weiss asked while catching up with the falling bomb.

'Careful—the bomb could explode if you just start shooting indiscriminately.' Palutena then thinks for a quick second until she gets a bright idea, 'Oh, I know. Destroy the green targets to remove the crown and expose the core. Then destroy the core.'

"Huh! It's like a shooting game. I can almost feel the controller in my hands!" Pit compared.

"I say this is more VR. I'll hook you up later if we survive this reality." Spidey quipped.

The heroes begin working together to destroy the Reset Bomb by destroying its weakspots. Though the Bomb itself lacks any attacks, Nature Forces do come to its defense to slightly delay the heroes' efforts. In addition, the air pressure makes maneuvering around the object difficult. 'Hurry, team! You're running out of time!' Palutena hurried them as the Reset Bomb nears its target area.

"Almost done!" Sonic retorted.

After each hero destroy their own green target, the core is exposed for them to blow up. "Core's exposed! FIRE!" commanded Spidey, with the team combining powers to obliterate the core. Which in turn, deactivates the Reset Bomb.

"Yeah! Destructimated!" Pit celebrated.

'I don't believe this!' Viridi reacted with great disgusted surprise.

'I know! Isn't it wonderful? But we can't rest yet. Viridi has a Reset Bomb factory that we need to shut down. Once we deal with it, that'll be the end of these horrid things.' Palutena announced.

"Aye aye!" Pit complied.

"Your reign of destruction ends here, Viridi!" Lucina declared, before the team flies off toward the Reset Bomb factory.

As they continue flying, Spidey receives those head tingles that warns him of laser beams that begin firing at them from a distance. "Watch out, gang!" He warned his friends.

"Laser beams?!" Weiss exclaimed whilst dodging those light speed attacks.

'Children! You must protect the Reset Bomb Depot!' Viridi summons more troops to combat the incoming intruders.

"It won't work, Viridi!" Pit retorted while plowing through her defenses, "You have a problem with humans. OK, we get it. But more destruction won't help anything!"

'Oh, please. This coming from the flying munitions depot himself! You're as destructive as a hundred Reset Bombs! Tripled with those humans that insist in interfering with a god's affairs! Their hands are already stained by the blood of gods!' Viridi argued.

"Maybe, but WE'RE destroying evil! It's totally different! Look it up." Pit quipped.

Soon after, the dimensional party flies up and arrive at a massive natural structure hovering high in the air that Palutena announces as, 'We're approaching the Reset Bomb Depot.'

"It's huge!" Spidey remarked in amazement.

'I'll look for a place to land.' Palutena flies them around the parameter of the depot, leaving them to fend off enemies before bringing them up to its surface, 'Up here looks like a good spot. Prepare for landing. It could get a little rough!' She claimed before suddenly drawing the team up into the air.

"Waaaaah!" Pit screamed.

"WHY DO YOU KEEP DOING THIS?!" Spidey yelled while being forced to fly down toward their landing destination.

The Goddess Avengers Alliance arrived at the Reset Bomb Depot, albeit with their faces planted on the floor. "You really need to stop doing that…" Weiss grunted, with everyone standing up and deactivating their flying equipment before beginning their raid on the nature factory.

'Just going to stroll in without backup? That's brave, if not very smart.' Viridi mocked, before rallying her forces to defend the depot, 'Rise, my children! Politely destroy our guests!'

Immediately after walking into a new area, the heroes encounter a living bomb on wheels. "Lame welcoming committee." Sonic smirkingly mocked the nature goddess.

'That's a Bumpety Bomb.' Viridi revealed.

'Cute name. It almost feels wrong to destroy them. ...Oh, well. Just watch out for their blast radius, Avengers!' Palutena advised.

The Bumpety Bomb charges at the heroes, only for Spider-Man to easily web throw it into the air for Pit to trigger its explosion with a charged bow shot from a safe distance. 'I brought a Cherubot for you.' Palutena summoned to the field a compacted, mech-like vehicle for the heroes to pilot.

'I can't imagine that pile of metal is very fuel efficient.' Viridi mocked.

'Actually, it runs on goddess power, which is totally renewable.' Palutena snarked.

Upon hopping into its cockpit, Pit activates the Cherubot as it stands tall and incredible on two legs. "Ancient Grecian Hulkbuster. This will come in handy." Spidey commented.

It just doesn't look cool. The overwhelming destructive might in this combat armor of the gods is best left to seasoned warriors like Pit who can push it to its unstoppable limits. With its left arm cannon, the Cherubot mows down enemy hordes with little trouble. And with its right arm sphere, it can decimate the strongest troopers with a single punch.

Upon dropping down into an arena, the Cherubot causes a shockwave that puts down some Underworld and Nature troops that were in the middle of killing each other. 'Dang it, Hades! Get your filthy troops out of MY bomb depot!' Viridi continues to argue with the trickster god.

'You're awfully cute when you're flustered, rosebud.' Hades flirted.

"The Underworld Army and the Forces of Nature are still fighting." Spidey noticed.

'Then take them BOTH out. A good opportunity to battle test the Dream Stone.' Palutena recommended.

"Is that really a good idea? We might blow up the planet." Pit remarked, unsure if using the Dream Stone in battle is a good idea.

"As long as we stick to Exo Surges. It's an ability we came up with that harnesses a portion of the Stone's power." Spidey explained to him how to safely use Exo Stones. He summons to his hand the Dream Stone and quips, "Teamwork makes the dreamwork with these Stones! Let's dream what boost this will give our team!"

BGM-Mario and Luigi: Dream Team OST-Victory in the Dream World

The Web Warrior clenches onto the Dream Stone as he taps into its limitless power over dreams, emitting a bright light that shines throughout the arena. Created from the light is Captain America in an ethereal form. Five Captain Americas in fact, much to the heroes' shock. "Captain Americas?" Spidey commented.

"Dreamy Captain Americas." Sonic named them.

The smiling Dreamy Captain Americas salute the heroes before each of them zooms into their own Avenger, granting the entire team a tremendous power boost that is complete with them gaining golden eyes and dreamy golden auras. In addition, each shocked hero finds themselves equipped with their own Vibranium Shield stylized with their iconic colors. 'Wait wait wait! What just happened?!' Viridi reacted with grave confusion.

"Let's find OUT!" retorted Spider-Man, throwing his new unbreakable shield and having it bounce between many enemies at devastatingly fast speed before the webslinger catches it for an earth-shaking leaping slam amidst a crowd.

Already these new Dream Powers feel exhilarating to use. Never before have the Dimensional Avengers felt like a team of Super Soldiers that wields the shield and skills of the Living Legend himself. Sonic uses his shield like a battering ram, charging and toppling enemies at supersonic speeds. Lucina uses her shield to perfect counterattacks, deflecting blows and annihilating foes with a masterful sword combo. Weiss discovers a unique use of her new powers, conjuring Dreamy Captain Americas that shield her with their own shields that reflect energy blasts.

"This power is flabbergasting! I feel as righteous as Captain America himself!" Weiss commented on her amazing dream powers.

'That is because his dream essence fused with you. I get it now. The Dream Stone has made each of you the heart between reality and dreams. The Dreamy Captain America dwells in each of you, not just increasing your power incredibly but infusing you with his knowledge and iconic abilities.' Palutena studied their new powers.

'With the Captain powering the Avengers…Even their ordinary attacks have turned into mighty storms!' Viridi commented.

'What a dream team causing a nightmare at the Bomb Depot.' Hades punned, referencing an old 1980s film that involved dreams.

"Woohoo! This is a dream come true! I always wanted to be Captain America!" quipped Spidey, spinning around and cutting through the remaining enemy forces with his energized shield.

"Think we can switch to something faster?" Pit wondered.

"Let's see." Spidey then taps into the Dream Stone again for a different boost, "Switch: Shadow the Hedgehog! Lend us your power!"

Swiftly, Dreamy Captain America transforms into the brooding Dreamy Shadow that infuses his essence with the heroes. Pit jumps out of the Cherubot to test the hedgehog's power, immediately finding himself running extremely fast and knocking foes into the air upon ramming through them whilst leaving ghostly copies of Shadow in his wake. "This is awesome! I'm as fast as you now, Sonic!" Pit hollered happily.

"Going fast isn't all what Shadow is known for!" Sonic smirked, confronting a Frost Giant so he may show off an iconic spacetime power. "Chaos Control!" He expressed, using Shadow's power to slow down time for his enemy and make it extremely easy for him to decimate him.

'A superfast hedgehog that can also control time and space? What a freaky dream…' Viridi snarked.

'Good idea with the switch. It's best for the team to use only one Dream Power at a time to avoid things getting TOO chaotic.' Palutena advised her heroes.

'So this is the legendary power of the Dream Stone…Good to know.' Loki muttered ominously, noting its power for future reference.

Unfortunately, the Exo Surge doesn't last forever and the heroes run out of Dream Power. "Aw man. It was fun while it lasted. Sure we can't just use the Stone to wish the Reset Bombs away?" Pit sheepishly asked his friends.

"In your dreams." Spidey quipped, denying his idea to avoid abusing the Dream Stone and being corrupted by its glorious power.

"Thought you might say that." Pit responded.

'Better enjoy that power while you can. Won't be long until the Dream Stone is mine to wish for a natural utopia free of human filth!' Viridi mocked, with a new goal of stealing the Exo Stone from them.

"In your dreams!" Pit retorted.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Reset Bomb Depot (Exterior)

The Avengers continue their raid through the Reset Bomb Depot, now with a new Dream Power ready to be used whenever they want. Not for a while. Not against the flowery Lethiniums and their powerful lasers beams. Nor needed to completely defeat a muddy Mudrone after three attempts. Pit might need it for a quick heal, after accidently bumping into an electrified wall.

Soon after, the gang enter another arena to intervene in another brawl between the Underworld and Forces of Nature. 'More Underworld forces!' Viridi commented with annoyance.

"I get what Viridi has against Hades and Loki. They're destructive and evil. But what does those two have against Viridi?" Pit asked while massacring both enemy factions.

'I think you answered your own question. Destruction is fun for them.' Palutena answered.

'Well, five points for the squares! It's true. This is just our idea of a good time. Not that these serious ladies would know anything about having a good time.' Hades quipped.

"Don't even put Lady Palutena in the same sentence as the goddess of brutality!" Pit retorted.

'It's goddess of nature!' Viridi corrected the idiot.

"Same difference!" Sonic joked while kicking away a Nature's Pew Pew.

'You'd think the lord of the Underworld would leave the mischief making to the God of Mischief.' Palutena remarked.

'Oh, no. Making mischief is one of our shared principal responsibilities. Though my craft is superior.' Loki boasted arrogantly.

'Arguably.' The mocking Hades snarked.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST- Reset Bomb Depot (Interior)

Once all enemies are dispatched outside, the heroes take a platform downwards into the depot's interior. "We're approaching the bottom of the fortress." Spidey announced.

"Everything seems to be made out of natural materials." Pit analyzed upon walking out of the elevator.

"Reset Bombs must grow like fruit." Weiss commented.

'ORGANIC fruit.' Viridi quickly corrected her.

'And when it's ripe, it falls off the vine and just organically destroys everything in its path?" Hades joked.

'That's not exactly how it goes.' Viridi argued.

'But I'm in the ballpark, aren't I?' Hades quipped.

'Nature dictates that all life must eventually break down. This is just an accelerated version of that process!' Viridi countered.

Spidey then comments, "Your Reset Bombs are like potent fertilizers. You know, if you tweak them a little and activate one in each continent at a high altitude, you should be able to create an eco-shield that filters out all harmful effects to the sun's UV Rays…"

'To stop global warming? Hmm? That might be possible. I'll experiment later. Thanks for the idea.' Viridi said genuinely, showing some respect for the spider's smarts.

"No prob." Spidey responded without any sass either.

"What is wrong with you?" Pit scolds Spidey for being friendly to a genocidal maniac.

"I can't help but to respect mad science sometimes." Spidey quipped.

The Avengers then proceed through the depot, making a mess of the place while traversing through its many dangerous obstacles. Lucina carefully walks across a wobbly bridge to avoid falling off. Pit jumps across floating platforms that lead to his butt being kicked by a Mimicutie. Spidey barely catches the ramming horn of the beetle-like Meeba monster so Weiss could destroy it from its backside. "Huah!" Sonic said upon hopping onto a grind rail, "Haha!", then chuckles while hopping into the air for a cool trick, "Wahoo!", until he safely lands on another rail, "Yes!", and arrives on land.

'Are you always so insufferably upbeat?' Viridi mocked.

"I am a teenager with little responsibilities. Can tell you're envious." Sonic quipped, much to the goddess's irritation.

'Fight harder, children! They're just one little band of mortals! If this fortress goes down, that's the end of all Reset Bombs.' Viridi angrily summoned more of her minions to strike back at the heroes.

'That's right. Ready yourself, goddess of nature!' retorted Palutena, while Pit and Lucina unleash a tag-team attack on the enemy horde by blanketing the field with arrow shots and Falchion slashes.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Reset Bomb Depot (Exterior)

Quickly after, the heroes take a platform upwards that returns them outside with enemies that are easily smacked away while they run across a long pathway. "This is disorienting…" Pit commented while shooting down baddies.

"Don't give up on me now, kid. Keep up the momentum all the way to the heart of the depot up ahead." Spidey encouraged him while webbing back goons.

"Right! In Palutena's name, we will eliminate the threat of the Reset Bomb!" Pit declared determinedly.

"It's time to put an end to the Reset Bombs once and for all!" Sonic proclaimed, readily as the team head through a door to disable the heart of the depot.

Reset Bomb Pod Chamber.

The Dimensional Avengers enter a room containing the massive pod powering the Reset Bomb Depot: The Reset Bomb Pod. It is responsible for creating the vast amount of energy needed to manufacture Reset Bombs and keeping the entire armory operational. "Look at that thing. It's the nature equivalent of an Arc Reactor." The amazed Spider-Man compared, "If we destroy it, it will take down the entire depot!"

"Not a problem!" Pit retorted, ready to destroy it.

'That's what you think!' Viridi intervened with a stern command to her, 'Guards! Wake up and report for duty!' Swiftly, a pack of five large armored robots colored green with yellow accents awaken in the same room. One slides, one spinjumps, one jumps downs, another spins in, and the last one initiates the goofy group pose as the Forces of Nature Guards confront the heroes for a battle that will decide the fate of the Reset Bombs.

BGM-Mario and Luigi: Dream Team OST-Never Let Up!

'Ugh! I should've brought more soldiers. More competent soldiers!' Viridi complained after watching their embarrassing pose.

'Sorry about that, sprout. I'm afraid they're busy fighting my guys.' Hades quipped.

'But you have to admit, Hades. My troops are no joke, right?' Viridi boasted proudly.

'Oh, yes, they're just terrifying. Quake-in-your-boots terrifying.' Hades retorted sarcastically.

While the Gods bicker, the Heroes and Guards are engaged in a frantic feud. One Nature Force Guard is keeping the acrobatic Spidey at bay with an energy barrage until a singular laser beam from its staff-like arm knocks him down for a bit. Another Guard clashes its claws against Pit's dual blades before being roundhouse kicked across the head. A similar clash was happening between Lucina's sword and the third Guard's claws, with the princess managing to uppercut her foe into the air only to be quickly blasted back by the machine that can recover in midair. Weiss bounces around the arena on her glyphs while countering the fourth Guard's energy attacks with her own ice blasts. The final Guard looks to have landed a direct explosive hit on Sonic, who instantly recovers and disorients the robot by running superfast around it. Sonic sees no one else standing in his way and rushes to destroy the Reset Bomb Pod, only to discover his attacks cannot penetrate its protective shell.

The annoyed Sonic grunts, "There's a shell protecting the Reset Bomb Pod! How do we crack it?", before narrowly avoiding a surprise attack from the Guard he was fighting.

"The guards are drawing power from the Pod! Try blasting them into the trench! The resulting explosion will help knock the shell loose, which is our cue to fire away!" Spidey advised in the midst of clashing with his Guard.

"Give us a boost!" Weiss tasked him to use the Dream Stone again to make their job easier.

"Right!" Spidey retorted, punching away his Guard before tapping into the glowing Stone, "Dream Stone! Exo Surge! Yang Xiao Long, lend us your power!"

A cheerful Dreamy Yang is summoned to be absorbed by the heroes, imbuing them with her monstrous fiery power and equipping each with their own stylized pair of shotgun gauntlets. Pit uses his new power to full effect, blocking a Guard slash with his gauntlet before bombarding it with powerful punches that are quickly countered by another slash that knocks him aback. But instead of getting weaker, the curious angel felt himself growing stronger from that blow. "Best part 'bout this power is that the more damage you take, the stronger you get!" Spidey briefed the angel on what makes Yang's power special.

"Like Lucario's Aura! Now this is smashin'!" grinned Pit, throwing an explosive fist powerful enough to send the Guard flying into the chasm below the pod that finally causes an explosion that blasts off its protective shell.

"The shell is off!" Lucina noticed.

"Now's our chance! Attack!" Sonic commanded.

Unleashing quick ferocity, the Dream-powered heroes make further use of the Nature Force Guards to damage the vulnerable pod. A deadly slash from Lucina knocks her robot onto the pod. A vicious thrust from Weiss smashes her robot next at the pod. A brutal Spin Dash from Sonic slams his bot right onto the pod to inflict more damage. There is just one last robot, and it's being handled by Spider-Man paired up with a copy of Dreamy Yang. The dream duo rush at it with fatal punches that swiftly shifts into performing a series of barrages, which ends with a double full-force uppercut that sends the Guard flying through the Reset Bomb Pod, disabling it for good and forever.

"Obliteration!" Pit exclaimed victoriously.

'Good. Now let's get you out of here!' Palutena announced.

Pit strikes several poses while his friends just strike single poses for another successful mission. While they do, the Reset Bomb Pod begins exploding, causing the ground to shake and throw the heroes off balance. They look around as more explosions go off, making them wonder how they'll escape. The answer arrives in the form of Palutena imbuing the Power of Flight for Pit, activating the Iron Spider Armor and Hover Shoes for Spidey and Sonic respectively, and summoning Sky-Cycles for Weiss and Lucina to hop onto. Palutena rushes to fly her heroes out as quickly as possible, but the explosion quickly catches up to them and propels them the rest of the way out.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!" The Dimensional Avengers screamed while the exploding Reset Bomb Depot falls out of the sky.

'My depot! That's it! You are now OFFICIALLY at the top of my to-kill list.' The angered Viridi announced.

'Uh-oh. I'd better get you out of there, Avengers.' said Palutena, extracting her falling heroes from the sky before the nature goddess can retaliate.

At the Underworld…

New Goblin and Dark Weiss have just returned from their New York date to find the rest of the Dark Avengers hanging out in their headquarters. "Where were you two? On a date?" Dark Sonic teased them.

"On a lunch break. There's a difference." Dark Weiss retorted with annoyance at the dark hedgehog that doesn't buy her excuse.

"Heh."

Just then, the Dark Avengers are greeted by and kneel before Loki and Hades. "How can we be of service, masters?" Harry formally asked them.

"All the Reset Bomb Depots have been destroyed, but there is a new problem. The Dimensional Avengers have learned to harness the Dream Stone. Our Norn Stones are in short supply, and if they master its power, we will lose this war." Loki informed his agents of destruction.

"Good thing we saw this coming a mile away and created an alternative." Hades quipped, summoning to float over his hand are three demonically dark ISO-8 crystals, "Brand-new Dark Underworld Crystals full of corrupted cosmic energy created by yours truly! And Loki. With it, you too can wield incredible god power beyond compare!"

Telepathically, the Underworld Lord hands the Crystals to all mortals except for Harry, much to his confusion. "What about me?" Harry asked the gods.

"You're special, mah boy. I'll personally give you an upgrade and teach you how to control it. It'll hurt like hell, but I know you can do it. Just in time for your epic rematch with Webhead!" Hades expressed to his favorite corrupted slave.

"Give into your anger. Hate him. Curse him. That is how you will destroy Spider-Man!" Loki advised him.

Harry gasps in silent shock, recalling how in his nightmare his father gave him the exact same words of advice. He chalks it up to mere coincidence, and yet can't shake off that tiny feeling that his mind is being messed with. "I…I understand." He complied to his orders with little hesitation.

Darkly, Loki chuckles, "Excellent.", as he cannot wait for the next stage of his plan to unfold.

KFX Here: Happy New Year, everyone! Hope 2022 was good for you, and hope 2023 will be even better! As for my plans this new year, I'll still continue with this "Remake Saga" up until Exo War. Future stories past The Solaris Dynasty are still unknown. I have ideas, I just need time to flesh them out. Now, for this current remake, the Avengers have learned to tap into the Dream Stone's power by borrowing a concept from the 3DS video game, Mario and Luigi: Dream Team. The Viridi Arc is almost over!
