"Sans, we must talk." "What's up, bro?" "I know about the resets." "Okay." "I also know about the human's ahem adventures with you, last timeline." "What!?" Sans was both embarrassed and confused, "And I remember resets and know you do too." "That's a lot of news. And not necessarily good news."
"Look, just don't scare the human this time. If she just wants to leave, let her leave. I can't act too differently, or she'll figure it out and the Great Papyrus is great at keeping secrets." He dragged Sans to the next puzzle, "This is a maze. I deactivated all the tiles, but the pink and red ones. A random maze will pop up and to get to the end you will have to solve it. Red tiles are impassable. Pink are just there."
The human smiled, "Okay, I can do that." Sans was enjoying the human having trouble with the maze. After a while, the human finished it. "How'd you like the puzzle, human?" Sans was surprised to see a genuine smile on the human for the first time, "That was fun!" "I'm glad you tried it!" Papyrus ran off.
"Why are you staying?" "Keeping an eye socket on you." She shrugged, "You don't like jokes, do ya kid?" The kid ran away again. "I'm going to have to be a stamina runner for this." Sans didn't think his jokes were that bad.
What was bad was when he found her at Glyde's house, with her pants leg up, pulling vines out of her cut knee. Not that she didn't have plenty of cuts. Guess, I'll help them. "Kid, I need you to not run away." Sans sat next to her, "Nice spot, huh?" She shrugged, "Okay then. I'm going to help you remove the vines-" The human tried to stand up, only for Sans to grab their sleeve, "Not until you are healed, one way or another." Sans took a breath, "Sit down, kiddo." She instantly obeyed. "After the vines are removed, I'm going to heal you." "How?" "Magic."
Sans picked the vines out of a lot of places, "The flower won't bother you, anymore." The human nodded as Sans healed them, "Good as new, kiddo. So what were you asking me?" Sans paused time, "At the barrier?" "Did you umm make the promise with the last human?" "Yep." "Okay." "One more thing, while I'll ignore the last timeline, if you ever try to kidnap me again-" "I got it. I know I'm not really on your good side right now." "You didn't let me do my scary face. Anyways, see you later."
The human saw Papyrus, "Human, while I feel like we know each other, I know that is impossible. And I the Great Papyrus must capture you." The human fought Papyrus to again be captured. Sans unlocked the door multiple times, again. "You're not really great at dodging, are ya, kid?" How did this kid make it anywhere in one piece?
