Sans' threat may have not caused any problems with Frisk, but the human in front of him when he makes his threat isn't Frisk. Sans' threat caused a seemingly pacifist to reset into a genocidal timeline.

13. Chapter 13

"Welcome to Waterfall, human. I'd offer you Grillby's, but I'd rather not." The human shrugged. "Anyways, glad you don't run away from me as much." "You won't let me." "Two for two. I'd give you one gold, but my pockets are empty." The kid talked to monster kid, and played with the echo flower, before it hit nightfall, "Kid, you really shouldn't be out here in the dark. Come with me." Sans grabbed their hand and took them to his home. "Couch is always good." She nodded.

Papyrus looked at the human and smiled, "You must really want to spend time with me, spending the night and all. It's late, but tomorrow, we'll hang out all day!" Papyrus left.

"Afraid of Undyne?" Or just all of monster kind? "She does stab me with spears. A. Lot." "That's what saves are for." "I just umm-" "That's the face of someone who doesn't want to do something twice. Now look at my face." The human looked at Sans' face, "What does it say?" The human shrugged. "To give you the answer, I don't care. If you can face Undying and die a major amount, Undyne should be fine. You also won before." The human nodded. "Night kid. Don't run off."

Morning hit and Sans turned the living room light on, "Up, kiddo." The girl rolled off the couch. "Not a morning person?" She shook her head. "Me neither." Sans picked the human up, "I'm going to be here today, and if you know what is good for you-" Sans eyes turned black, "My brother will be in one piece." The human nodded. "Also, I been thinking, you owe me a GIGANTIC favor." "Umm." "My brother wants to see the surface and considering you are the 7th soul-" The kid tried to run away, but Sans grabbed their soul, his voice deepening, "WHAT DID I SAY?" The human started struggling and crying.

"Sans, put the human down, right now!" Sans dropped the human. "Bro, I can explain." "I don't want to hear it. I said it before and I'll say it again, STOP SCARING THE HUMAN." Sans was surprised and unsettled as the human clutched Papyrus' leg. "I can't believe you brother. Human, we are going to go to Grillby's and hang out there." Papyrus picked up the human and slammed the door.
