"So the gods are at war with each other and there are two Exo Stones? That explains why the Aurum has developed a keen interest in the planet. What are the Stones' current locations?"

A holographic projection of Doctor Octopus has been speaking with Grimadoom's team for updates on their investigations in the ruins of a mountaintop fortress that was converted to be their secret base on Earth. "The Dream Stone is in the possession of an alliance between the Goddess of Light and the Dimensional Avengers. According to Grimadoom, the Nightmare Stone can only be obtained by defeating the Chaos Kin in its own dimension, once it has devoured a divine soul." The Enchantress reported to her leader, with Grimadoom and Super-Skrull hanging out beside her.

"And where is this Chaos Kin?" Octavius asked sternly.

"Do not worry. We are keeping a close eye on it. We can capture it at any time." Enchantress answered.

"So let's not immediately blow up the planet once you show up." Grimadoom joked, relaxing by a window.

"Fine." Ock accepted.

"What is your time of arrival?" asked Super-Skrull.

"Tomorrow morning. My invasion force will be ready by then." Ock answered.

"Can't wait. There are some know-it-all gods that need killin'." Grimadoom quipped.

"Is that Salem's blood talking?" Ock teased, speculating his newfound hatred for deities stems from the DNA of the woman that was mistreated by her world's gods.

"A little bit. You know how much I love to test my limits." Grimadoom snarked smirkingly.

"Patience, child. The gods will see the error of their ways for underestimating mankind's unfathomable potential." Ock assured his creation.

"There's a god standing right here, you know." The deadpanned Enchantress reminded her mortal allies.

"You have your uses until you're no longer fun." Grimadoom mocked.

"At least you're honest." Enchantress sassed with an irritated expression targeting him.

"Man, god, or alien, it matters not. In the Masters of Evil, we are ALL equals. Only together we shall take down this corrupt system that controlled the Earth since humanity's birth…and replace it with an immaculate empire." Octavius rallied his team with a sinister speech that makes them all the more eager to conquer this dimension.

"Moving out!" Pit said, rushing toward the door with the Dimensional Avengers that are just as ready to fly to their new mission. Their plans are a little delayed by a sudden beam shooting at them, forcing them to jump back and quickly leap through the door as it becomes engulfed in flames.

"Your door's busted." Iron Spider quipped to the goddess while flying through stormy skies.

'The door is the least of our concerns. Hades and Loki have rejoined the fray.' Palutena announced telepathically.

"Oh, no!" Pit exclaimed in surprise.

'Oh, yes. Now we have both their AND Viridi's forces wreaking havoc!' Palutena stated, just as the aforementioned enemy factions are seen killing each other in the most violent ways imaginable. 'The Underworld Army and Forces of Nature are out for blood—each other's AND yours.' She also stated, just both evil forces take some time focusing their all-out attacks on the heroes that are quick to launch powerful counters. 'On the Underworld side, Hades has put Thanatos back into play as commander.' She informed.

"Thanatos?! He's still alive?!" The shocked Pit remarked.

'Apparently. And leading the Forces of Nature is Phosphora.' Palutena announced as well.

"Phosphora?" The curious Sonic wondered who might that be and what she looks like.

And right on cue at literal lightning speed, the Lightning Flash herself zips by and amazes the Blue Blur. "Yes? You called?" quipped Phosphora, the young, beautiful, and fierce electrical commander in the Forces of Nature.

"A girl Electro? So you're commanding the Forces of Nature?" Spidey questioned her.

"We're in the middle of something here! Can this wait?" retorted by the sudden Thanatos, resurrected as a glowing serpent-like dragon that is flying past the heroes to continue his fight with Phosphora.

"So Thanatos was resurrected as…a glowworm?" Pit wondered.

'I think the look he's going for is more glow dragon.' Palutena quipped.

It is the Lightning Flash versus the God of Death in an intense battle through the storm. Both are zipping around at shockingly high speeds and firing energy blasts that are crazy powerful. Neither are letting up for a split second, even after ramming at each other with the blitzing explosive force to rock the heavens.

"Wow, this is crazy!" Weiss commented on their amazing battle thus far.

"It's the Underworld versus Nature, their commanders locked in a fierce battle…" Lucina remarked, watching the powerful villains fly down in a whirlwind, "I have never seen anything like it before…"

'I'm ready to pull you out of there if things get out of control.' Palutena said.

"Are you crazy? I don't wanna miss a second of this!" smirked Sonic, with the heroes flying in after them to continue spectating their awesome battle, "I want a piece of that action! That Phosphora chick is really fast!"

"Calm yourself, Lil' Blue. Don't wanna make Amy and Sally jealous." Spidey teased.

"I can't believe Thanatos is still alive." Pit expressed his disbelief over the god's revival.

"And quite perky, from the looks of things." Weiss commented.

"But why does he get a second chance? It's not fair!" Pit complained.

'Hmm... Thanatos, Pandora, Hewdraw... Hades revived them all from the old days. It must have taken some work to bring them back.' Palutena noted.

"But this is Thanatos's third time around!" Pit retorted.

'Thanatos is a bit of a…special case.' Hades suddenly joins the conversation, which barely surprises his enemies.

"You're telling me." Pit conversed casually.

'He is the god of death, after all. So he gets perks like evil powers and health insurance. And free soda.' Hades quipped.

'Resurrected from the dead—that's some health insurance!' Palutena snarked.

Meanwhile, the epic clash between lightning and death continues with their tremendous powers splitting apart a large floating island and being dragged close to the heroes. "WHOA!" Pit expressed while watching them fly away.

'By Odin's beard, they're putting on a show.' Loki chimes in to express his impressiveness of their battle.

"I gotta admit—he's fast! Must be all that free soda." Pit commented on the death god's new speed.

'Lovely little Phosphora's no slouch in the fighting department, either.' Hades said flirtatiously.

'Ugh, will you stop trying to butter up all the ladies? It's gross.' The disgusted Palutena retorted.

'There's nothing wrong with compliments.' said Viridi, also inviting herself to this god chat.

"Isn't it past your bedtime, Viridi?" Spidey mocked.

'Shut it, bug, and respect the overwhelming power that Commander Phosphora wields!' Viridi retorted angrily at the insolent spider.

"I'll admit, she's stronger and more eye-catching than Electro. But her little sparks will never compare to Thor's lightning!" Spidey snarked.

'Gotta agree with you there.' Palutena remarked, smiling bias in memory of her old god friend, 'Anyway, team, just keep after Phosphora and Thanatos. It's great how they're wearing each other out like this. I mean, who knows? You may have to fight them both at the same time.'

'Well, we all know how THAT would end.' Viridi said smugingly.

"With us winning." Sonic snarked.

'With you DEAD! C'mon, that should've been obvious!' Viridi exasperated, really getting fed up with the heroes' jokes.

Shortly after, the heroes follow the rivaling commanders out of the whirlwind as a worried Hades asks, 'Thannypoo, are you OK?'

"Oh, yes! I'm just peachy!" Thanatos retorted with serious wounds that makes it so obvious he's on the losing end.

'He doesn't seem peachy…' Palutena snarked.

'That's because Phosphora combines the depeachifying power and speed of lightning!' Viridi boasted.

'Looks like this battle is settled.' Loki calmly realized that his commander will not win this fight.

Deciding to finish this once and for all, Phosphora charges up to max power. She envelops herself in overwhelming blue electricity and charges straight for Thanatos at full speed, piercing him into an electrifying defeat. "Finishing blow!" Phosphora announced.

"Aaah! Farewell cryyyyyyy!" cried Thanatos, returning to his normal form before falling to his third death.

"Way to go, Phosphora!" Sonic applauded her for her performance.

'Bravo! BraVO!' Viridi commended her commander for a victory well earned.

'Oh me oh my. Now whatever shall I do?' Hades whined about his commander's defeat.

"She really brought the thunder!" Pit commented.

'I said lightning, Pit! Sheesh, get it right!' Viridi mocked him, as per usual.

'Whatever. We'll just keep fighting without someone out there giving orders.' Loki shrugged off that defeat.

'Are you saying it makes no difference whether your troops have a leader?' Palutena responded.

'They're all idiots. Seriously. I don't even know if any of them have actual brains.' Hades snarked.

"Where's Phosphora? I'm certain a hard-fought battle against the god of death worn her out." asked Lucina, noticing that Lightning Flash has disappeared from their sights.

'You're right. Now's your chance. Let's hit her before she fully recovers.' Palutena replied, keeping the heroes on her heels in order to take advantage of her weakened state.

"At once, milady!" Lucina acknowledged.

'We may not have the best dental plan, but justice is on our side!' Palutena expressed.

"Now it's OUR turn to bring the thunder!" Pit retorted, still misusing terms like the adorable idiot he is.

Upon approaching a whirling mass of clouds, Spidey uses his armor to detect Phosphora's presence within. "I love playin' hide and seek! Can tell you're hiding in the clouds!" Spidey teased her.

'Persistent, aren't we?!' Phosphora snarked.

'I'm going to open up a path through these storm clouds. Stay sharp!' Palutena warned the team.

The Light Goddess opens up a tunnel through the thunder clouds and sends the heroes in, where they encounter many Forces of Nature troops. "This is intense!" Pit expressed while fending off tons of monsters.

'Hold on as best you can. Phosphora is definitely up this way.' Palutena assured him.

'Nope. There's nobody here.' Phosphora snarked.

"We can totally hear you!" Weiss retorted.

It's not just monsters, but lightning bolts within the stormy tunnel the heroes should be concerned about. One lightning bolt slams on Spider-Man, nearly knocking him out of the air until Pit catches him by his and swings him for a spinning combo kick that knocks back goons. Other monsters manage to blast back the girls until Sonic catches them from behind and spindashes through the horde so they may be finished by his friends' combo blasts. 'Just about there.' Palutena announced they are nearing the end of the tunnel, 'Three…Two…One…You're out!'

Everything became calm as soon as the Dimensional Avengers arrived inside the thunder cloud, spotting an electrically charged floating temple in the distance. "What is that over there?" Weiss asked about the temple.

'This is the Thunder Cloud Temple. It's been abandoned since ancient times.' Palutena revealed.

'Here already? I didn't even have a chance to take a shower!' Phosphora snarked.

"Too bad!" Pit retorted, earning him a blue beam from the temple that nearly shoots him down, "Wah!"

"I guess she's not completely spent after her battle with Thanatos." Lucina commented stoically.

'It's just one fight after another. Today is not my day. The fortune Mistress Viridi read me didn't paint a very good picture either.' Phosphora frowned.

"Wait…Viridi reads fortunes?" Weiss questioned.

"I wonder what other services she offers." Spidey wondered.

"Anyway…It's on!" Sonic challenged his new lightning rival.

'Looking forward to it!' Phosphora accepted his challenge.

'Sending you in!' said Palutena, flying the heroes down towards the temple.

Thunder Cloud Temple.

Pit and the Avengers safely land on the floor of the Thunder Cloud Temple. As everyone deactivate their fliers, Palutena gifts them some info about this place, 'It looks like Phosphora is powering this place. You'll need to cut off the supply. Some of the pillars and walls are electrified. Don't get zapped!'

"Right!" Sonic nodded.

"WAH!"

Everyone looks at Pit, who accidently tripped onto one of the electrified pillars. 'Remember what I said about not getting zapped?' quipped Palutena, while the mortal heroes just facepalm at the dummy.

BGM-Spider-Man 3 (Game) OST-Shared Tension (Part 3)

All of a sudden, Peter's head tingles and gets him looking up at the frightening sight of pumpkin bombs bombarding their area. Everyone screamed in pain, but survived with minor wounds that didn't stop them from emerging from the rubble and confronting the descending New Goblin. "Harry!" Spider-Man expressed shock at his corrupted best friend's return, as it's been a while since they last saw each other.

Harry scoffs, "Still alive. Viridi's a failure of a goddess if her Reset Bomb couldn't exterminate a little bug."

'Hey! I take offense to that!' Phosphora snapped, getting furious at anyone who dares to mock her goddess.

"Nothing will stop me from saving you! You should know that by now!" Spidey retorted, still with the intentions of saving his friend from the dark gods' grasp.

"Should've had this attitude earlier. Would've saved your uncle from being shot." Harry mocked the dead of the greatest man Peter ever knew.

"Grrrrrr…!" Peter growled infuriatingly.

"What is wrong with you?! NEVER disrespect family, even that of the dead!" Weiss retorted, coming to her spider-friend's support.

"Says the girl with similar family issues to mine." Harry snarked, now aware of the heiress's background thanks to her dark counterpart. "I'm not aiming to disrespect the dead. Quite the opposite, as you'll soon find out. We're all after Phosphora. Let's make a little game out of it. First one who gets Phosphora takes all!"

"Harry! Wait!" Spidey reached out, only for his friend to fly ahead while laughing sinisterly.

'A race for moi? I'm getting popular today.' Phosphora joked.

"He's starting to act like his old man…I gotta hurry before he kills you!" Spidey declared with the goal of saving Phosphora from Harry's increasingly corrupted wrath.

'My hero.' Phosphora snarked.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Thunder Cloud Temple

It's an electrifying race for Phosphora, with New Goblin and the Dimensional Avengers competing to determine who will reach her and defeat her first. Both parties explore the temple and encounter many electrified surfaces throughout the building, some that were unavoidable and paralyzed them for a bit. Harry's ahead, leaving behind pumpkin bombs to at least slow down the opposition. It worked, but not for long, as Sonic kicks back a bomb that slows Harry as well.

"This level would be way easier if my sandals were rubber." Pit said, after being forced to take an electrified elevator inside the temple.

'It's not my fault you conduct electricity so well.' Phosphora quipped.

"We'll see who's laughing when I shut the power down!" Pit threatened.

After losing Harry for the moment, the heroes come across a diamond-shaped object surrounded by a barrier. "I think that's a power supply to some of the areas in this temple. Destroying it will probably make life easier for us." Spidey told his friends.

"Got it!" Weiss blasts the power supply to smithereens, which disables a barrier blocking their path.

"Wooohooo!" Pit hollered.

'That seemed to cut some of the power, so you can move forward now.' Palutena stated.

'Whatever. It's no skin off my back.' Phosphora claimed uncaringly.

"Makes winning this race easier!" Harry exclaimed whilst flying past the heroes at extreme speeds, forcing them to catch up.

They seemed to have lost sight of Goblin shortly after as the heroes enter a room with a train car transporting goods. "What's a train car doing here?" Sonic wondered.

'There's something inside of it. Break it open, and I'll move its contents near the exit for you to grab.' Palutena said. The heroes follow her orders and destroys the train, allowing her to teleport the contents before them. But much to their horror, those contents are pumpkin bombs. 'Oops!' She exclaimed, right before the bombs blow away and leave the team in moaning pain.

"You didn't see that coming?" Harry revealed his tricky self from the shadows as he continues onwards, "I'm going on ahead."

'Sure, you do that.' Phosphora quipped dryly.

"Aren't you going to put up a fight…?" Lucina asked amidst recovering.

'What do I care? This isn't my place.' Phosphora replied.

'So you're basically squatting in this abandoned temple. Dignified.' Palutena snarked.

'Not squatting. Repurposing! Besides, I'll be out of here before too long.' Phosphora proclaimed.

"Why's that?" Spidey asked.

'Because the free-spirited Phosphora isn't one to put down roots. Like a hobo.' Viridi answered.

"Ah, she's just like you, you freeloading hedgehog." Spidey teased his friend, who just laughs it off.

'Anyway, I've been busy with the Underworld Army, so I've asked her to defeat you.' Viridi announced.

"I'd like to see her try!" Pit retorted confidently.

'Ooh, what bluster! What bravado! I guess I can't back down now!' Phosphora teased, looking forward to facing her enemies when they find her.

As the racers proceed through the temple by going up a translucent pathway, Harry tries slowing them down again. This time by deploying multiple Goblin Robo Warriors down their way. One of them rams into a startled Sonic, knocking him back a bit, while the other robots launch attacks that were reflected by the other heroes. Spidey uses Web Strikes on the remaining droids as he's about to catch up with his rival, only for Harry to knock him back with a blade slash and prompt Weiss to catch her falling friend with a glyph.

"And you're supposed to be one of the Fastest in the Multiverse?" Harry mocked his rival's speed, knowing of his accomplishments in the Multiversal Grand Prix.

"Lemme grab my Extreme Gear and I'll show you what true speed really is!" Spidey bickered, shaking his angry fist from the glyph while Harry races ahead.

"Where is Phosphora located exactly? Maybe that'll help us cut off Harry." Weiss asked her goddess friend.

'She's busy recharging at the temple's center. You'll need to move fast and get to her before she's done, and before Goblin gets the crazy idea to blow up the entire temple.' Palutena answered.

"Got it." Weiss understood.

"Absolutely, Lady Palutena!" Pit acknowledged.

'Absolutely, Lady Palutena!' Phosphora mocked the angel, 'You're such a yes-man, Pit. Good thing you're so cute.'

"You're…you're just making fun of me now, are you?" Pit blushed from her flirting.

'Aw, you're turning red! That's even cuter!' Phosphora flirted with him again.

BGM-Bleach OST-Comical World

Swiftly, Spidey drops down to comfort his embarrassed little angel brother, "Cupid, don't worry. Lemme give you a little advice in how to deal with girls like Electrellina in your head. Snark is everything. It's how I enjoyed my relationship with a cat thief for a while."

"…You dated a cat thief?" Pit commented innocently.

Embarrassed himself from saying too much, Spidey sweatdrops, "I mean…she wasn't…at the time…ish…"

"And now you're dating a former cat terrorist." Weiss slyly teased him while Lucina giggles beside her, embarrassing him further.

'Didn't know Handsome Man is a bad boy cat person. Hope you're also into blondes.' Phosphora starts flirting with Peter now.

"He is." Sonic smiled.

"Would you people shut up already?!" Spidey shouted angrily at his teasing friends.

'Guys, quit it. You're embarrassing him so easily.' Palutena joined in teasing the spider.

'Oh, don't give it a second thought...ma'am.' Phosphora started mocking the goddess of light herself, much to the heroes' horror and worry.

"Uh-oh…" Pit muttered.

Popping an angry vein on her forehead, the eye-twitching Palutena retorts, 'Did you just call me "ma'am"? Are you trying to start something? Because I can barely tolerate Spider-Man calling me that EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.'

"Hehe." Spidey chuckled sheepishly.

'You're right, I'm sorry. You're MUCH too young to be called "ma'am".' Phosphora joked.

'You know as well as I do the lifespan of gods. And how about you? What's YOUR age?' Palutena argued.

'I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours!' Both girls snarked at each other at the same time, while the heroes just sweatdrop at their comical argument.

"For the record…I don't mind being called 'sir'." Pit chimed in.

'Yes, well, as much as I'd like to continue this delightful chat, I have things to do.' Phosphora quipped.

'I know it's difficult when she's flirting with you, but remember that she's the EN-EM-Y.' The annoyed Palutena reminded her angel.

"Right." Pit understood.

'And Spider-Man, keep your mouth shut.' Palutena told him.

"Sure thing, ma'am." Spidey quipped, which got Phosphora laughing and Palutena pulling her hair out.

'GAAAAAH!'

BGM-Shadow the Hedgehog OST-Lost Impact

Phosphora's efforts to hinder the heroes' progress have failed, allowing them to continue through the temple and catch up with Harry in a room with an air vent. The scoffing Goblin didn't bother activating the vent as he has his glider to ascend him into the next floor, with the heroes following in his example by bouncing off Weiss's glyphs. "Can't we just talk about our problems like the good old days, Harry?" Spidey asked his corrupted friends.

"There's NOTHING to talk about!" Harry retorted, entering a room with moving electrical beams that he causes a cave-in with his bombs.

"Of course there's stuff to talk about! School, cheerleaders, you trying to destroy two universes just to get back at me for something I DIDN'T DO!" Spidey argued, with him and his friends barely escaping from being buried alive.

"Whatever! It's not like I live in those worlds!" Harry countered, destroying the second power supply to open up a new downward path he and his enemies venture through.

"Mary Jane does!" Spidey snapped, "She's one of our best friends, Harry! You love her! She was devastated when you died in our world! Don't let her see what another you have become!"

"Mary Jane…Ugh…" Harry grunted, clenching his pained head and reminiscing the good times he had with his own Mary Jane. Of their date during a festival. Of when she checked up on him at the hospital. Of when they met Norman Osborn during a Thanksgiving dinner. Whatever dark magic that is corrupting him is finally showing signs of waning, if a bit as he furiously claims, "MJ…She betrayed me…for you! You two left me all alone…And just when I was about to reconnect with my father, you took him from me! The man who loved YOU as a son! I LOST all happiness! But surrendering to the gods was a price I was willing to pay if it meant being one step closer to the ideal son my father always wanted!" He then sinisterly chuckles, "And as a result, I've never felt happier!"

The Goddess Avengers Alliance feel sympathy for the fallen Osborn. Weiss especially since they're so alike, which is why she feels so heartbroken from hearing his suffering. Spider-Man, however, just says this with a solemn tone, "…That isn't true and you know it, Harry."

Angered by his calm retort, Harry fires a missile barrage that obliterates the area the heroes are desperately trying to escape from. Palutena gives them a hand, conjuring a grind rail for them to use as their escape route. Harry continues firing at them through the sky, with Pit and Lucina using their bows to deflect his attacks until Spidey redirects a missile with his webbing, knocking his friend out of the sky, if for a while.

'Are you…sure that was okay?' Palutena asked, calmly concerned about Peter's inner suffering.

"If there's a bit of his father in there, he'll be fine." Spidey replied with tranquil anger as he's getting sick of fighting his best friend, "Where is this rail taking us?"

'This way goes to the center of the temple. Watch out, though—the route looks pretty treacherous.' answered Palutena, while secretly feeling powerless that she can't even help two humans rekindle their friendship.

The grind rail escorted the heroes to a long walkway outside the temple, which was as treacherous as it looked. After a close call of Lucina nearly falling to her death, the heroes head back inside the temple and takes a jump pad to the boss door. 'Phosphora is just ahead.' Palutena announced.

'Here so soon?' Phosphora quipped while the team walks through her door for their epic showdown.

Upon arriving in the boss room, the Dimensional Avengers encounter the Lightning Flash Phosphora herself, who is lying nonchalantly in midair before switching to an upright position. "Hello there!" She greeted her enemies.

Pit, as he loves to do with most of his enemies, begins striking imposing poses as he announces his plans to defeat her, "Attention, pet of Viridi! You'd better sharpen your claws! I am the servant of Palutena, goddess of light, and-!" And his hero speech is interrupted by Phosphora firing lightning bolts at his feet, "Ow OWWW!"

"Enough blabbity blab. Now let's get to the main act!" Phosphora declared while taking a battling stance.

But shockingly before any battle can begin between them, a wall blows open and emerging from the smoke is New Goblin and his menacing Goblin Robo Warriors. "I quite agree." Harry retorted coldly.

"We NEED to get you some serious therapy, buddy." Spidey quipped.

"So what're gonna make this, a three-way battle?" Sonic wondered.

"THAT would be a bother." Phosphora snarked, "Good thing I have this secret weapon.", before revealing in her hand a blue Norn Stone of Energy.

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Confrontation of Critical Situation

"A Norn Stone?!" Pit reacted with shock.

"Where did you get that?" Harry asked, just as surprised by this theft of Underworld property.

"I found it." Phosphora joked. Curious of the stolen god stone in her hand, she says, "Let's try out the power that this Norn Stone will give me." Intensely, she yells, "HAAAAAAAAAAAH!", while her glowing stone imbues her with outrageous power. Her chamber quakes, and her skin becomes so overwhelmed with electricity that she has transformed into a gorgeous warrior of pure energy that is still clothed. Enter Hyper Phosphora. Lightning Flash 2.0. Still a terrible singer.

The heroes and Harry are now concerned in how they're going to deal with her shockingly new power. Except for Sonic, who isn't afraid at all. Instead, he chuckles with excitement at the prospect of fighting an even stronger rival, "What an incredible power! Here I go!" Seamlessly, uses his own Super Norn Stone to retake his stern God Form. "Hey guys, do me a favor and let me fight her. She has a speed that I want to test against." He requested to fight Phosphora by himself, much to the shock of all his friends except for Spider-Man.

"Go right ahead. We'll deal with Harry." Spidey calmly accepted his request.

"Thanks." replied God Sonic, stepping forward to confront the electric warrior alone and expressing his depeachifying power by unleashing a fierce roar to the heavens, enveloping himself in a divine green aura while his eyes glow an imposing electrical blue.

Hyper Phosphora smiles, "Tremendous power and a big love for nature. No wonder Mistress Viridi wants you in our team, Sonic. There's still time to accept her invitation." She offered him a position in the Forces of Nature.

"Thanks, but I'm declining. Her ways of protecting nature makes me sick." God Sonic coldly rejected her invitation.

"And you think you can do better than a god? Don't make me laugh." Hyper Phosphora frowned threateningly.

BGM-Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection OST-Snow Castle

From sharing fierce scowls, both empowered combatants fly towards each other. "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Both Sonic and Phosphora roared simultaneously, beginning their battle by colliding light-blinding punches. As the light dissipates, the others see the combatants have vanished and hear they have taken their fight outside, leaving the remaining Avengers to confront Goblin's crew.

"It's time we get started too. Ready for round four?" Harry taunted, upon assuming his Aura of a God state in front of his robot minions.

"Always." Spidey accepted, upon assuming his Beast Out form while his friends take their fighting stances.

Their tragic battle begins anew as Harry charges forward on his glider as Spidey tries avoiding him with a backflip, only to fail and be caught and dragged around the massive electrical chamber. While Weiss rushes to assist Peter, Pit and Lucina are left alone with the large army of Goblin Robos that they are confident in handling. Lucina runs headstrong toward a Robo, deflecting its bullets before destroying it with a leaping slash that causes its glider to crash and burn. Another Robo tries ambushing her but is repelled by Pit's Guardian Orbitars and blown apart by Lucina's bow shot, which quickly doesn't save them both from being bombed back by the other robots. Together, princess and angel charge at their foes with mighty roars and slash through them using a combo of Parallel Falchion and Tiger Claws, then after losing balance, turn and blast away more robots with a combination of arrows.

"The Green Goblin almost killed you! I'm gonna finish the job!" threatened New Goblin, while he and Spidey are beating each other up on the same glider that's flying around the giant chamber.

"Awesome! Nice suit by the way, but, don't you hate wearing hand-me-downs?" Beast Out Spidey snarked, holding his own against his friend's godlike punches.

While Harry's distracted in the air, Weiss is on the ground firing an ice blast that freezes one of his glider's air rotors. His Sky Stick starts malfunctioning, distracting Harry for Spidey to throw a mean punch across his mask. The corrupted Osborn recovers by uppercutting his friend off his glider and activating its wild flamethrowers that shatters the ice and nearly burns both Peter and Weiss to a crisp if they didn't move out of the way. He then hurls a pumpkin bomb to knock them down, but before he could use his Medusa Head to petrify the weakened webslinger, Weiss comes to his stern defense. Harry hesitates to petrify her, having developed a soft spot because of his recent date with her dark counterpart. This leaves him open to be assaulted by the heiress's lightning-fast slashes aided by her bouncing glyphs. Weiss would've knocked him off his glider with her last attack if he didn't dodge and blow her away with a thrown pumpkin bomb, prompting Spidey to kick him off with a surprise Web Strike to his back.

Swiftly, Goblin stands back on his feet and confronts his former friend by saying this with a taunting tone, "You should stop holding back if you value your life!", before flexing out his new power, "Army of Hades!"

Horrifically, the moaning souls of the dead are summoned to fight by Harry's side and are commanded to rush and violently massacre Spider-Man. "What the hell?!" Spidey exclaimed upon immediately fleeing from the souls.

'No kidding! Hades gave him the new power to summon the souls of the Underworld itself!' Palutena realized with great horror.

"He better not have the Claws of Hades stashed in his pocket!" quipped Spidey.

Jumping around, from right to left with amazing acrobatic speed, could barely keep Spider-Man away from the relentless souls that want him as dead as them. One soul was quick enough to harm him, slowing him down for a roaring Harry to unleash his new power at full force and unload countless souls on his rival. Realizing he can no longer outrun his attack, Spidey crafts a large web shield with his Holy Webbing to block his army, causing both god moves to cancel each other out in an explosive fashion. A large smokescreen surrounds Peter, which was the cover he needed to roar, "RAAAAAAAAWR!", while lunging out of it to send Harry flying with a monstrous punch to his cheekbones.

But with swift style, Harry recovers back on his two feet despite skidding and skipping on the ground seconds ago, looking annoyed and scoffing, "Like father like son, Peter. I guess you wouldn't understand that."

"You're better than this, Harry! Don't give into your father's madness!" Spidey expressed, growing frustrated at his friend still refusing to leave the darkness.

BGM-Tekken Tag Tournament 2 OST-Snow Castle -Mundus Arrange- (Winter Palace)

Outside the temple's chamber, another electrifying battle is escalating with shocking intensity. Lightning bolts of blue and green are zipping around through the sky and blitzing at each other at light speed, with one devastating collision causing an explosion that forms a massive thunderstorm within the thunderstorm that surrounds Thunder Cloud Temple.

'What is causing my skin to feel all tingly here?! The atmosphere is so electrified!' An annoyed Loki exclaimed, telepathically looking into the spectacular speed showdown between God Sonic and Hyper Phosphora, 'Oh, it's just you two. And goodness, they're putting my Norn Stones to marvelous use.'

'Just look at them go!' Viridi observed.

'And I thought the fighting outside was exciting! But it looks like the real action is over here!' Hades commented.

'Sonic doesn't stand a chance!' Viridi believed.

'Glad you're enjoying the show, oh divine peanut gallery.' Palutena snarked.

"I, for one, am honored to have you all in the audience." sassed Hyper Phosphora, blocking an instant punch from Sonic with just a smirking arm.

"Who's the yes-man now? Kissing up to management won't help you, Phosphora!" snarked God Sonic, backflipping to strike a smirking fighting pose against her.

The god hedgehog attacks once more, feinting a roundhouse kick for a punch that is swiftly blocked by Phosphora's before both electrified warriors trade an outstanding flurry of hyperfast blows that takes them all over the Thunder Cloud Temple. "I just don't get you. We're a lot alike. We're both cool and fast and have attitudes some ma'ams just can't see the beauty in! Why NOT join the Forces of Nature?" Phosphora asked a relatively serious question.

"Because I don't wanna." Sonic retorted simply, "This is what I do. Just keep moving, doing good, saving folks and nature, and living as free as the wind. Living by my way. My own way."

'Your way sucks.' Viridi snarked while sparking another argument, 'You love nature as much as I do. I see and respect that when you fight madmen like that Eggman guy. His machines corrupt all life. But instead of ending HIS life, you always let him walk away to destroy more lives another day!'

"That's not my style. I love exploring the world, finding all its thrills and adventures, and enjoying them. I fight so everyone can have the freedom to do that too. Even the worst of us deserve a second chance. To be better. I've made peace with enough enemies to know there IS a better way." Sonic argued.

'What ways?' Viridi asked, oddly curious.

"Heck if I know. The possibilities are endless. Though I prefer people that want to help others, teach 'em what's right, what to respect. Learn to speak with your heart rather with your fists. At least before the fisticuffs." Sonic quipped.

'Hmm…' Viridi muttered, secretly taking his wisdom into consideration and getting the small sense that her genocidal ways on humanity might not be the best way to help nature after all.

Back to the fight, Sonic finds himself outmatched and blown back by Phosphora's crazy power. "Was that the best you got?" She taunted, firing a barrage of crackling lightning-like energy blasts that hit and consume Sonic in a titanic explosion.

God Sonic ascends from the explosion with severe injuries that don't slow him down from charging his power for even a second. "Light Speed Rebirth!" He exclaimed, transforming himself into a ball of pure divine energy. Phosphora proceeds to fire a second barrage of blasts at Sonic, though the hedgehog easily dodges each one before closing the distance and countering with godlike tackles that cause her humongous pain and leaving her with growing disdain at his awesome power.

BGM-Dragon Ball Kai 2014 OST-Theme of Piccolo

Meanwhile inside the temple, the tragic battle is drawing to a somber conclusion as Beast Out Spider-Man leaps back from New Goblin trying to slice him in half with his Ionic Sword. Claws and blades clash in the middle of the arena, with Peter's attacks grinding intensely on Harry's while the former talks, "I understand your feelings and your pain. But right now, you are mistaken.", before spinjumping backwards up on a wall, "And with that conflicted heart, you cannot defeat me!"

"Like I would ever lose to you!" Harry retorted, furiously chucking at him bombs that force Peter to wallrun away and through smoke, where Goblin meets him outside with a leaping sword strike that Spidey blocks with a lunging claw swipe. Shockingly, his claw is cut before he's kicked down, instantly ducking from a dashing sword slash, then evading more slashes before finally catching one with his bare hands.

"We've gone at this long enough! There's some stupid prophecy that Loki and Hades want to fulfill and…we can't let that happen!" Spidey continues arguing with him in the midst of this stalemate.

"I couldn't care less! That's got NOTHING to do with my vengeance!" Goblin retorted.

"Everybody on Earth is gonna DIE! They'll kill them all! EVEN MAY AND MJ!" Peter shouted, pleading with him to be concerned about the friends that still love him.

"SHUT UUUUUUP!" yelled Harry, feeling so offended that he starts kicking Peter in the chest and forcing him to let go of the sword that he is now desperately using to try and kill him this time, "I SOLD MY SOUL TO THE GODS SO I CAN REVIVE THE ONE PERSON THAT LOVED ME! I DON'T CARE WHAT HAPPENS TO MAY OR MJ OR ANYBODY ELSE!"

But in an instant of disgusted fury, Peter shatters his sword with a single claw swipe and retorts, "You're lying!", which surprises his corrupted friend to the core.

"Huh?"

"You care about them A LOT!" Peter exclaimed, furiously ending this fight by punching Harry so brutally flat to the ground that his mask shatters.

Pit, Weiss, and Lucina reunite with their leader after destroying the remaining Goblin Robo Warriors. As Spidey drops to his base form, he solemnly watches his exhausted rival sitting on his knees while berating him with this, "No matter how much you hate it, you still have a soul in you, Harry. Revenge will not bring you peace."

New Goblin's fierce battle with Spider-Man causes him to wear a frown filled with sadness and subtle regret of his actions. Around that time, outside, God Sonic and Hyper Phosphora found themselves at an exhausted standoff. Both panting at each other, with the Nature Commander looking worse for wear. Realizing she's at a disadvantage, she mutters, "So it's come down to this…Time to use my full power…!"

BGM-Sonic X OST-Sonic's Fight

Sensing her last resort, Sonic grunts with concern and watches her ascend to the skies. Phosphora lets out a mighty roar while conjuring a massive thunderstorm above herself, in which is condensed into the palm of her hand and charges as a blue energy sphere that the hedgehog smiles with eagerness to counter. "Try it! Your lightning against my Sonic Wind!" He taunted, cupping his hands together to charge his power for a full-force energy beam.

"LET'S DO THIS, SONIC!" Phosphora shouted vigorously.

"YEAH!" Sonic responded heartily.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Both Speedsters unleash their full power at each other, resulting in a thunderous clash of energy beams that forms an enormous sphere of destruction that threatens to obliterate the entire Thunder Cloud Temple. Each side is struggling for dominance, and while that is happening, some gods are cheering on for their favorite combatant.

'WIPE HIM OUT, PHOSPHORA!" Viridi cheered for her.

'DEFEAT HER, SONIC!' Palutena rooted for him.

'WHOEVER WINS EARNS THE GRAND PRIZE OF DYING BY ME!" Hades joked.

"You're pretty amazing after all…But I ain't gonna lose here too!" Sonic proclaimed to the rival he deems worthy of being such.

Horrified at the sight of herself losing ground, Phosphora mutters, "I'm at my limit…and yet he's still climbing…" She then calms herself down with a scoffing smile that claims, "Guess this isn't so bad. 'Living as free as the wind', huh? Hope it's not too late to change elements."

And from one final ferocious yell that empowers his massive beam, "HAAAAAAAAAAAA!", Sonic strikes and utterly overwhelms Phosphora, who screams in absolute defeat as all thunderstorms finally calm.

BGM End

God Sonic pants heavily from unleashing so much energy and stares at the massive smokescreen in the sky, which is promptly swiped away by Phosphora covered in severe wounds and back in her normal form. Concerned that she still has some fight in her, Sonic strikes a fighting stance. Which wasn't necessary as Phosphora accepts her defeat with dignity and falls to the ground. And once Sonic drops to his base form, they exchange smirks and laughs that express how much they enjoyed their fight and would love to battle again one day.

'This can't be happening!' Viridi is left stunned by this turn of events, while the defeated Phosphora teleports home.

'I'll say.' Loki is left grumpy by these events as well, right as the beaten New Goblin is extracted from the battlefield.

"Watch out, Loki! We're coming for you right after Viridi!" Pit proclaimed his team's plans to defeat them next.

However, the temple begins to fall apart due to Phosphora's absence as Hades explains it, 'This place is going back to the dogs without lovely little Phosphora.'

'Smarm it up while you still can, Hades. We'll be after YOU soon enough.' Palutena promised before extracting her victorious heroes as well.

In Deep Space…

BGM-Spider-Man 2 (Film) OST-Doc Ock Suite

Above a planet that was conquered by an unimaginable evil is a massive aerial armada that includes everything Aurum related: hundreds of floating islands, a space base serving as a hive for thousands of battleships, and one massive flying fortress that contains the brain of the alien parasites. All of them under the maniacal command of Doctor Octopus laughing within the Aurum Brain Fortress, "MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

'Either you've gone insane or you're ready to invade.' Grimadoom mocked through their comms.

Ock chuckles, "Yes, I'm ready! From where you stand, be ready as we conquer that world with my aerial armada…We cannot be stopped! Humanity will be ruled! The Gods destroyed!" As he talks, he activates an interdimensional portal massive enough for his fleet to soon fly through and conquer Pit's World, "And Spider-Man and his Annoying Friends will FINALLY acknowledge their superior!" He returns to laughing maniacally with such frightening expression, as the Masters of Evil Fleet begins heading toward the portal for dimensional destruction.

KFX Here: Y'know, I JUST realized that this entire Masters of Evil Saga is very reminiscent of the Kingdom Hearts video games. Specifically how the Dimensional Avengers visit many worlds and take part in an altered version of that world's main (game/film) plot. I like to think my series is less confusing than that franchise. Anyway, we're done with the Viridi Arc. Next up, it's the Aurum/Masters of Evil Arc. We're halfway done with the whole story, ladies and gentlemen!
