Just before the final battle with the Aurum begins, Dark Sonic traveled to a quiet area of the Underworld for some brooding privacy. He stands alone on a floating platform with his arms folded and his blank eyes staring into space. Something has been bothering him, and he has his fights with a certain goody two shoes blue hedgehog to thank for this annoying contemplation on life.
'Who am I now? What can I really do? Curse that blue twirp for making me think about this.' Dark Sonic thought with glaring annoyance, 'I was born from the Mirror of Truth to be his living truth. But, what if I was born to prove…that HIS existence is truth? That it is inevitable for darkness to become light? He's already beaten me twice and now we're allies?' He then growlingly expresses, 'This is infuriating! I need answers! And I can't find them while working under the gods! They'll just slow me down!' With a new resolve to realize his full potential, the Dark Double starts walking away to help in the climactic showdown, 'Might as well head back for now and help save the universe…So I can use it for my own purpose.'

BGM-Marvel Future Revolution OST-Mighty Star (Captain Marvel Theme)
'HAHAHAHAHA! YOU FOOLS! ARE YOU READY TO MEET YOUR END?' Doctor Octopus laughed maniacally while he stands alongside Grimadoom the Hedgehog within their space station floating in Earth's orbit: The Aurum Brain Fortress. This spacefaring fortress houses the Aurum Brain, which is responsible for controlling every aspect of the Aurum, from combat troops to floating islands. The fortress itself is extremely massive, housing formidable defenses and projecting the gigantic dimensional portal that's summoning an immense armada of flying battleships as the ultimate guard against the heroes' final assault that is moments away from being unleashed. 'All your efforts will amount to nothing! This is the invincible armada that has spread terror across dimensions, built by the greatest geniuses! You're going to experience that terror firsthand alongside the complete destruction of this world!' Ock announced through his planetary loud speakers to the enemies that he knows are ready to counterattack any moment now.
From Skyworld and Underworld respectively, Palutena and Loki heard Ock's threat and are ready to answer with their mightiest teams of mortals: The Dimensional Avengers and Dark Avengers. Sonic, Weiss, and Lucina unveil their Super Norn Stones to assume their God Forms, just as their dark counterparts whip out their Dark Underworld Crystals to obtain godly power. Spider-Man armors up as the Iron Spider's eyes glow with badass eagerness, while New Goblin hops onto his glider and allows his body to be strengthened by the fearsome Aura of God.
"Okay, Ock…" Harry said imposingly at the Underworld.
"Let's get this show on the road." Peter declared determinedly at Skyworld.
Wielding their respective staffs, Palutena and Loki opens their own door that'll transport their teams to the final battlefield in space. "Let's finish the Aurum once and for all!" Pit exclaimed as the power of flight overtakes his wings. Avengers of Light and Darkness leap through their gates, raring to defeat the Masters of Evil once and for all as they find themselves assembling while flying through the sky.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Aurum Brain
'Commencing Underworld assault on the Aurum central nervous system!' announced Hades through telepathy, unleashing his gigantic army of Underworld demons from one side of the Avengers.
'Children! Our final target are the brains behind this operation! Doctor Octopus and the Aurum Brain!' commanded Viridi, summoning her enormous horde of Forces of Nature troopers from another side of the Avengers.
"Sun god Pyrrhon on the scene! Now with added Pyro Cannon action!" exclaimed Pyrrhon, appearing and firing a massive flaming beam that assists the heroes in this final battle against the Aurum.
'With all us gods—er, and Pyrrhon—united, Ock and the Aurum Brain doesn't stand a chance.' Palutena remarked, feeling optimistic about the ultimate defeat of the Masters of Evil.
"It's kind of crazy! The biggest egos in the universe working together?" Pit commented.
"It happens." Iron Spider quipped.
'Show no mercy to these insects!' Loki encouraged fiercely.
'Drive the intruders back into their dimension, minions!' Hades ordered enthusiastically.
'We cannot lose! Our planet, our universe's very existence is on the line!' Viridi reminded eagerly.
'Do your thing, Pyro Snake! Shazammitylam!' Pyrrhon exclaimed, being himself with his flames as usual.
"Everyone seems to be in good spirits, though." God Sonic remarked at their general excited attitude.
"Or they've finally lost it." Harry quipped.
The Gods and Masters are holding nothing back in this climactic battle of the decade. Aurum Battleships devastate Dark Elves ships with the most horrific laser beams. Underworld demons rampage through Badniks and Grimm in every violent way imaginable. Nature and technology clash like never before as the Forces of Nature swarm on floating island-stationed Mechtopi that are desperately trying to eviscerate them. And then there's Pyrrhon being Pyrrhon, burning everything that he perceives as a threat in attempts to look awesome.
The Avengers are quick to join the mayhem, with those with god powers unleashing them in various overwhelming forms to give their side an edge. God Sonic uses his God Boost to envelop himself in a fiery aura that rams through countless battleships, with Dark Sonic doing the same with not his speed but with his destructive power to rain energy blasts. God Lucina slices a massive ship in two with her blade, just as Dark Lucina pierces an equally-gigantic warship with her lance. God Weiss obliterates a Mechtopus with a devastating blast of electrical ice, while Dark Weiss impales another with a series of large ice swords, right as New Goblin flies past the girls and infuses his pumpkin bomb with enough divine energy to utterly annihilate a massive enemy horde that was blocking his view.
"Look up there!" While flying beside Spider-Man, Pit points out the dimensional portal in the sky, "That's the portal connected to another world they conquered!"
"Their source for reinforcements. To shut it down we need to shut down Ock." Spidey retorted, stating that Ock's defeat will disable the portal.
'I wouldn't mind, but it'd be far too soon. The party is just getting started.' Grimadoom quipped telepathy, much to the heroes' surprise.
"Grimadoom?" Spidey retorted.
'All Aurum units, focus firepower on Spider-Man and the Avengers! Once they fall, they ALL fall!' Ock fiercely ordered his army.
From battleships to geometric troops to clones of demon and nature soldiers alike, the entire Aurum Army turn all their most destructive weaponry at the Avengers in a grand plan to erase them from existence. Both teams are instantly overwhelmed and pushed to the defensive, which barely helps when both Spider-Man and Pit are attacked out of nowhere by a white bodysuited woman empowered by Kree energy and a purple man made of living energy.
"NOW who?" Pit complained after recovering from that sudden assault.
"Moonstone and Living Laser? We don't have time to play with you losers. Get outta our way!" Spidey quickly recognizes and dismisses the two supercriminals that also joined the Masters of Evil.
"Too bad! It's not often we get to fight in space!" smiled Moonstone, forcing the duo to focus in dodging her high-speed energy blasts so Living Laser could get into position for a powerful ambush.
"This'll be so worth the cash!" exclaimed Living Laser, blasting back the webslinger that is retaliated by Pit hitting him with an arrow and Spidey web-throwing Moonstone onto her partner. The supercrooks were quick to recover and tried to be as quick in getting revenge, only to be surprised by an Underworld horde swarming them.
'We'll have our fun with them while you have your fun with OctoDoc.' Hades informed the heroes that the gods' armies will keep Ock's forces busy for them.
"Thanks, Fake Woods. Never thought I'd say that." Spidey quipped, before he and Pit regroup with the other Avengers and continue heading toward the Aurum Brain Fortress that's coming into view.
'Now that we've defeated the Aurum Hive, we need to take down that fortress before its Chaos Energy Cannon is fully charged and shatters Earth.' Palutena tasked them.
"It's huge!" Pit commented in amazement whilst approaching the massive structure.
"Looks like the incomplete Death Star." Spidey joked.
"Would you quit it with the Star Wars references? I thought you hated those movies!" Weiss retorted in annoyance.
"Doesn't mean I can't riff about them." Spidey snarked.
'That fortress houses the Aurum Brain, which is what Octavius is using to control every single Aurum unit.' Palutena returned their attention back to the main topic.
"How do you know that?" Sonic asked.
'Oh, Pyrrhon told me.' Palutena answered.
"Man is that guy obsessed with the Aurum or what? He sure knows a lot about them." Pit pointed out the sun god's obsession with the alien intruders.
"That's because I spend a lot of time on Divinipedia." Pyrrhon responded, brushing off his comments as nothing.
"Divinipedia? Send me the link." Pit snarked, not trusting him.
"The time for learning has passed. Attack the Aurum Brain!" Pyrrhon expressed vigorously.
"As long as you follow our lead and not do anything stupid again." Goblin threatened.
"Yeah, yeah, sure." Pyrrhon retorted, again brushing off his allies so casually.

BGM-Transformers: Devastation OST-The Proudstar (Legacy)
'So…Moonstone and Living Laser couldn't even slow you down. It hardly matters now…' Ock said coldly through his fortress's loudspeakers upon noticing Pyrrhon and his mortal allies nearing an opening in his base. 'Aurum, keep them busy! We've almost won!' He shouted furiously at the aliens.
"We're heading in! Time to crash the party!" Pit expressed.
All heroes fly through the opening and immediately blast through all security alerted to their interfering presence. They have no time to waste. They can feel the Chaos Energy Cannon powering up with the remaining CSPs that were stored in this fortress. In a few minutes, it will shatter and transform Earth into a universal corridor that'll allow the Aurum to devour the entire dimension in one fell swoop. The Avengers refuse to let that scenario come to pass with every fiber in their body and continue fighting their way through the Aurum Brain Fortress.
"This path will take us directly to the Aurum Brain." Pyrrhon said while smoking the remaining powerful defenses, "Come on, Avengers! It's time for us to take this space junk to the space dump!"
"This…is it." Spidey declared, determined to defeat Doc Ock and save the dimension.
'What kept you?' Ock laughed, confident in his ability to kill Spider-Man and conquer the universe.
The time has finally arrived. Once Pit, Pyrrhon, the Dimensional Avengers, and Dark Avengers fly into a massive futuristic chamber that contains nothing but their objectives, the universal confrontation begins with a grinning Doctor Octopus standing atop a platform floating above the central cortex controlling the entire Aurum legion: The Aurum Brain. "Welcome, Avengers! I am so honored to have an audience bear witness to my greatest experiment!" Ock taunted his mortal enemies.
"Shut it down, Ock. You're going to hurt a lot of people doing this." Spidey demanded him to surrender.
"Well, that's a risk we're willing to take." Ock snarked.
"We're not gonna let you go through with this, Otto!" Harry retorted.
"And just who might you be? Certainly not Norman Osborn." Ock questioned this mysterious Goblin that has also been foiling his plans in this dimension.
"I'm his son!" Harry revealed sternly.
"Harry?" Ock retorted with genuine shock, "To think there's a universe where you still live." He then sinisterly smiles, "For now.", before bursting into maniacal laughter and activating his strongest countermeasure against the heroes. He surrounds his platform with an unbreakable energy shield, then does the same to the Aurum Brain but with invulnerable metal. "This is perfect! Not only I get to have my revenge on Spider-Man but also spite Norman by killing his own son! Your scum of a father was never the best business partner!" expressed Ock, whilst a massive hologram of himself is projected above for all to tremble before, "ALL OF YOU WILL PAY FOR EVERY INDIGNITY YOU BROUGHT ME! GRIMADOOM, ASSIST ME IN THEIR ERADICATION!"
The Heroes look up to witness the threatening descent of Grimadoom, enveloped in darkness with arms folded and his devious smirk looming before his most hated enemies. "About time you gave me a decent order." He joked imposingly, hovering before Holo-Ock as both heroes and villains are ready to fight it out for the fate of the dimension.

BGM-Marvel's Spider-Man (PS4) OST-Doctor Octopus (Final) Boss Battle/Fight Music Theme
The Sonics launch the first move by flying toward Grimadoom, with God Sonic having the intent to defeat and Dark Sonic having the goal to kill. They attack him one after another at amazing speeds that doesn't worry the smiling Grim dodging their attacks thanks to his inherited Spider-Senses. Despite this psychic power, he starts finding the two difficult to handle and powers up while forming several spacetime energy spheres in his hand, launching them at his enemies to encase them in frozen time before slamming them through the many corners of the Aurum Brain Fortress.
"MY GENIUS CONTROLS THIS ENTIRE CHAMBER, HEROES! I NEED TO ONLY CLOSE MY HAND TO CRUSH THE LIFE OUT OF YOU!" Ock spoke through the booming voice of giant hologram, using his will alone to materialize countless Aurum-powered tentacles from the walls to strike at the other heroes with murderous intentions. The likes of Goblin, Pit, and the Weisses were struck badly, while Spidey webs several tentacles together only for others to smash him far out of the fortress that he swiftly web-zips back into to disable more tentacles.
"Attack the Aurum Brain! That's the only way to beat him!" said Pyrrhon, unloading an onslaught of fire blasts that fail to dent the metal that shields the Aurum Brain.
The mocking Ock laughs at his efforts, "ITS SHIELDING IS REINFORCED WITH ADAMANTIUM! A METAL THAT NOT EVEN GODS CAN BREAK!", before materializing energy turrets that surprise and severely damage the sun god.
"What of your shield? I see no metal!" snarked Lucina, as she and her dark counterpart confront the doctor's energy barrier. The twins energize their swords to full power before shouting, "SHIELD BREAKER!", and thrusting them to break his barrier and receiving his tentacled wrath that blows them away.
"I won't let you destroy my world!" Suddenly, Ock is caught off-guard by the screaming Pit that rams and slams him onto the wall. Pit backflips through the air to unleash his Bow Special Attack that is promptly blocked by a materialized tentacle before a bigger one smashes the angel onto a wall of his own, pinning him there to be crushed. Goblin then comes to his rescue by slicing the tentacle, right before Spidey webs Ock's personal tentacles, to make it easier for Pit to bombard him with Palutena Blade shots.
"Time to die!" exclaimed Dark Sonic, charging at Grimadoom with a raging fast fist.
"Like I would lose to a shadow." mocked Grimadoom, easily countering his attack with a teleporting energy blast that knocks him out of commission for now. "It's the light that I want to extinguish." He grinned, before he is suddenly struck by the other Sonic. With tremendous power and speed, the god hedgehog spindashes his rival through the many walls of the fortress until they arrive in space, where Grimadoom finally deflects his foe with a quick backflip kick.

"You have it." God Sonic said.
"Have what?" Grimadoom questioned.
"Don't play dumb. A CSP. I sense you've been using it." Sonic calmly figured out his rival has his own Chaos Stone Prototype in his possession.
"And here I thought I was subtle." Grim snarked, unveiling the cosmic copy in his hand. "It's not like the others. This one is far more advanced thanks to my modifications. I was born from an Exo Stone. I have innate knowledge of their inner workings. Should last long enough for us to settle things." He proclaimed to be wielding an advanced CSP.
Sternly, Sonic says, "Let's end this warmup. I will not allow you guys to destroy my friends' home. I'm going to end this quickly, with my full power.", while summoning the Dream Stone before him.
"I look forward to it. Let's see the true power of the Dream Stone. The power beyond the gods!" Grimadoom grinned darkly.
BGM-Sonic X OST-Chaos Emerald Reaction
The Dream Stone and Chaos Stone Prototype. Their glowing energies begin to react to the heart of their respective wielder that solemnly needs their power to win this fight, emitting an extremely bright light that spreads throughout the space battlefield. Moonstone and Living Laser. The Gods watching from Earth. An awakening Dark Sonic as well as everyone fighting inside the fortress stop for a moment to look at the bright light that is transforming the hedgehogs.
'What is happening?' A shocked Viridi questioned.

As the glow dies down, two transformed and glowing individuals can be seen as a stunned Palutena remarks, 'They are gaining power that embodies Chaos and Dream!'
BGM-Sonic X OST-Super Sonic
Sonic and Grimadoom face each other in space, both sporting all-new cosmic transformations. In Grimadoom's case, he has obtained his Ultimate Form that possesses the chaotic power to destroy gods, with fur now green save for black highlights on his quills. And in Sonic's case, he has obtained his own Dreamcaster Form that embodies the ultimate power fueled by everyone's wishes, with a color scheme inspired by a certain free-spirited Nightmaren as his fur is now violet and his shoes are purple, with eyes as golden as his new cuffs and his back quills resembling a star.
As Ultimate Grimadoom takes off his hood to better express his marvelous-looking power, his innumerable mooks in the Masters of Evil try ambushing his rival. Dreamcaster Sonic doesn't bother to glance, just throws a wave of twinkle dust-looking Dream energy behind him that erases them all like they were a bad dream so nothing could interrupt his staredown with his enhanced rival.

"I underestimated you. Didn't think your copy would allow you to transform. This will take longer than I thought." said Dreamcaster Sonic with a focused but calm expression, powering up his new dreamy goldenish-purple aura for the next round of their fight.
"I'm ready! And this time, you're gonna die!" retorted Ultimate Grimadoom with a fearsome but psychotic demeanor, powering up his cosmic green aura for the second round of their battle.
BGM-Transformers: Devastation OST-Soundwave
From a burst of speed that shakes space, the transformed hedgehogs engage in another epic clash of fisticuffs that looked evenly matched until Dreamcaster Sonic lands a severe kick that knocks his foe aback. Both exchange smiles before Ultimate Grimadoom blitzes his rival with a brutal three-punch combo that slams him onto an Aurum Battleship. Sonic smiles again before taking their fight higher in the sky, where they clash at equal speeds beyond god until they land a simultaneous punch on each other.
Meanwhile within the Aurum Brain Fortress, Spider-Man is firing constant repulsors that are all being evaded by Doc Ock returning to his central platform with better shielding and to better repel his nemesis with a giant wall tentacle. "DO YOU SEE NOW, SPIDER-MAN? THIS IS MY DOMAIN!" Holo-Ock gloated.
"Your Octo-Arms aren't scary at all, big or small or many." Spidey quipped.
"HERE I HAVE THE POWER TO CONTROL…AND CREATE!" boasted Ock, with his holographic tentacles manipulating Aurum energy to create a flying horde of energy clones that either resemble Electro, Vulture, or Mysterio.
"Oh this is much cooler. The composition of these clones is very remarkable." Spidey quipped, clashing his repulsors with an Electro Clone's lightning bolts.
"You can be such a nerd, Spidey." New Goblin snarked, ducking before a Vulture Clone could decapitate his head with his wings.
The other heroes fair decently against the sinister clones. Weak as each one are, fighting them in numbers is a challenge that takes some time in overcoming. Vulture Clones deflect Dark Sonic's attacks until he overwhelms them with greater speed and ferocity. Lightning bolts of Electro Clones push God Weiss into the retreat so her dark copy could be free to eliminate them. Mysterio Clones try playing mind games with the Lucinas that refuse to fall for their tricks before they are struck down. "HAVEN'T YOU LEARNED? IT IS I WHO AM SUPERIOR IN EVERY REGARD!" Ock exclaimed arrogantly, unleashing more clones and lightning bolts that overpower all but the combined firepower of Pit, Pyrrhon, Spider-Man, and Goblin that ends this clash with an explosive stalemate.
"Is that all, Doc? A weak army of energy clones? Pfft! Guess that's the best a human can do with the Aurum!" Pyrrhon mocked Ock.
Ignoring his taunting with arrogant laughter, Ock retorts, "YOU HAVE NO IDEA OF MY INGENUITY! HERE, I HAVE LIMITLESS POWER!"
"No kidding." Pyrrhon muttered with dark ominous.
Before continuing the fight, Ock needs a recharge from his limitless power source. His hologram starts drawing energy from the fortress itself, which is risky, because in order to recharge, the Aurum Brain must expose itself from its invulnerable shielding. 'There's your chance! Attack the Aurum Brain during his recharge! And hurry! The Chaos Energy Cannon is nearly operational!' Palutena urged the heroes to attack the Aurum Brain. And attack they do with all their strengths, severely weakening it to the point of scaring Ock.

"NO! MY MACHINERY WILL NOT FALL TO YOU IMBECILES!" Ock cried while desperately trying to re-shield the Brain.
"He's gonna close it!" Spidey shouted.
"It's brain-frying time!" Pyrrhon exclaimed before flying headfirst toward the Brain, much to his allies' surprise.
"What are you doing?!" Pit retorted.
"STOP, YOU IDIOT!" Ock shouted in vain, as the sun god flies into the very center of the Aurum Brain just mere seconds before it could be sealed again. Pyrrhon unleashes a massive explosion from within the Brain, forcing the likes of the Avengers and even Doc Ock to make hasty retreats.
'Hold on, team! I'm getting you out!' said Palutena, flying the heroes away from the exploding room.
"Waaaaaaaaaah!" The Avengers screamed horrifically at the fiery death that's catching up to them.
'Just a little farther!' Narrowly, Palutena flies them out of the fortress and into the safety of space where they take a breather to wonder what just happened.
"I don't know what even happened in there! Did Pyrrhon make it out?" Pit asked.
"I'm still detecting his signal. And Ock's, but I'm not surprised." Spidey responded before contacting their lost sun god, "Hey God Torch, you okay in there?"
BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order OST-Threat from Beyond
'Ha ha ha ha ha! HA HA HA HA HA HA!' Pyrrhon's voice then begins booming across the area with laughter that interrupts the epic battle between Dreamcaster Sonic and Ultimate Grimadoom, as they join the heroes in staring at a large projection of the sun god saying to them all, "NICELY DONE!"
"Pyrrhon?" Pit reacts with confused shock in his face.
"This isn't good…" Dreamcaster Sonic sensed a dark change within Pyrrhon's nature.
"That hotheaded idiot. Seems he has been planning this from the start." Ultimate Grimadoom scowlingly realized Pyrrhon's secret plan.
"THANKS TO YOU, PYRRHON HAS LEVELED UP! I AM NOW A LEVEL INFINITY EPIC SUPER GOD…PLUS! ULTIMATE POWER IS NOW PYRRHON'S!" Pyrrhon revealed his plan all along was to obtain the limitless power of the Aurum.
"What are you talking about?" Spidey retorted, feeling puzzled and betrayed and angry.
"THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!" Just as his hologram disappears, Pyrrhon demonstrates his new abilities by sending Aurum troopers to attack both the Masters of Evil and his former allies. Moonstone and Living Laser are blasting their best at their former Aurum allies as they notice their green forms turning red to signify Pyrrhon's control over them.
"Doc, you still alive in there? 'Cause the Aurum just changed color and turned on us!" Moonstone called her boss, who is still alive and hiding within the Aurum Brain Fortress that is too now under the sun god's control.
'Of course they did. That foolish god burned the AI that we installed into the Aurum Brain to control the Aurum. It won't be long until his foolishness gets the best of him and then we'll ALL be doomed!' Ock snarled, calculating that Pyrrhon will lose control of the Aurum eventually.
"You DO have a plan to fix this, right?" Moonstone asked for hope.
'Buy me time! All M.O.E. units, your new targets are the Aurum! Annihilate them!' Ock furiously ordered his army.
Allies become enemies and vice versa, as the Masters of Evil Army are forced to strike at the treacherous Aurum and reluctantly team up with the Avengers to do so. Except for Grimadoom, who's more focused in killing Sonic above everything else. Pyrrhon telepathically laughs, 'I'm pulling the Aurum strings now! Not even the combined power of the gods can stop me!'
'Oh, snap! Poor Pitty and Avengies got duped!' Hades joked.
'This might not be the best time to rub salt in the wound.' Viridi snarked.
"What kind of rat tricks an angel, Pyrrhon?" Pit shouted angrily at the betrayer.
'What?! I can't hear you over all this awesome!' Pyrrhon quipped.
"You better not be planning to destroy the dimension too!" Spidey retorted.
'I live here. Why would I do that…' said Pyrrhon, shutting down the Chaos Energy Cannon to prevent the destruction of the universe for an even stupider idea, 'When I can remake the universe in my image? There's enough CSPs in this station to pull it off!'
"You're stupid enough to destroy the dimension with them anyway, so there isn't much of a difference." Harry snarked, with a new resolve to defeat the evil sun god.
'I could use some help. Perhaps a queen that's as hot and cosmic as me.' Pyrrhon quipped.
'I don't like where this is going…' Loki cringed, getting the awful sense that Pyrrhon is about to pull another stupid stunt that will further endanger the universe.

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order OST-Losing Control
Pyrrhon demonstrates more of his newfound power by manipulating the dimensional portal, shutting off the Masters' reinforcements to make room for one special guest from another dimension. That cosmic being is descending from the portal right now, resembling a beautiful redheaded woman in a red suit with yellow sash, gloves, boots, and most notably as well as horrifically, a yellow phoenix emblem on her chest. 'She is fire! She is life incarnate! Now and forever, she will be my bride in a whole new world! COME ON DOWN, DARK PHOENIX!' announced Pyrrhon, just as Dark Phoenix opens her flaming eyes and her body bursts out a flaming phoenix-shaped aura that threatens to burn this whole new universe.
"Jean! Oh crap." Spidey exclaimed, recognizing that Phoenix Force as an alternate version of Jean Grey, the psychic X-Man that loves losing herself to the dark side every now and then.
'Kill Spidey for me, would ya dear?' Pyrrhon ordered his new partner-in-conquest.
Maliciously, Dark Phoenix smiles, "Fine by me. I will enjoy cleansing this new world with my flames!", before rocketing down at unfathomable fiery speeds to ram her fists straight into Spidey's chest, smashing him through several MOE ships with destructive force.
"SPIDEY!" shouted God Weiss with so much concern that both she and God Lucina hurry to his support against the Phoenix Force.
"She IS scarier than the other Phoenix…" Pit watched in horror, and was nearly blown away from the shockwaving clash between Sonic and Grimadoom, "Yow! This is intense!"
'So, anyone have any bright ideas on how to take him out?' questioned Hades, wondering how they're going to stop the new dimensional threat that is Pyrrhon.
'I suppose we have no choice. This is it, my single remaining jewel.' Viridi answered him by calling down from the sky a familiarly large and bright object that is heading toward the fortress.
"Wait a second…" Pit squints his curious eyes to better look at it and be horrified upon realizing, "Is that a RESET BOMB?!"
'Time to let nature take its course!' Viridi smirked smugingly.
Successfully, the Reset Bomb crashes into the fortress and expands into a Reset Bomb Forest looked to have stopped Pyrrhon. "This is out of control!" Pit exclaimed.
'Who's awesome now, Pyrrhon?!' Viridi laughed boastfully.
The answer is burned into her arrogant skull just from watching her Forest burst into flames and hearing Pyrrhon laugh, 'Is that really all you've got?'
'How could this happen?!' Viridi retorted in absolute horror.
"Fire BURNS nature, you idiot!" Dark Sonic snarked.
'I have to be the bearer of bad news, but the power of flight is running out.' Palutena revealed.
"So now what?" Pit retorted with worry.
'I'm sorry, Pit. I have to get you out of there.' Palutena shines her light down over her angel, but to her own horror, nothing happens and he remains in his spot, 'Oh no!'
'What's wrong?' Viridi asked.
'I can't extract him. I don't understand why.' Palutena replied.
'That's because you don't have an associate's degree in telepathic interference!' Pyrrhon gloated after unleashing more of his so-called ultimate power.
'Are you blocking me?' Palutena realized.
Pit begins to feel his wings catching on fire, which is scaring him to say, "M-My wings are getting hot!"
'I'm sorry! I can't carry you any farther! I have to cut off the power of flight!' Palutena frowned.

With a heavy heart, the Goddess of Light cuts off the power of flight, causing Pit to plummet through space screaming, "WAAAAAAAH!"
'Pit! PIT!' Palutena shouted with extreme concern.
Spider-Man was nearby when he spots his friend falling to his death, yelling, "Pit! NOOOO!", and tries flying to his immediate rescue only to be caught in the same psychic grasp that the sadistic Dark Phoenix is using on Weiss and Lucina.
Dreamcaster Sonic tries flying at light speed to save his fellow Smash Brother, but he too was intercepted, this time by the teleporting kicks of Ultimate Grimadoom that crashes him onto an Aurum Island. The heroic hedgehog jumps out of his large crater, just to glance with anger at his rival appearing behind and delivering mocking words, "It seems that light speed just ISN'T enough!" Sonic tries a swift kick that is seamlessly evaded by Grim and more of his malicious taunts, "What's wrong now? Losing speed, Sonic?"
"Mayday! Mayday! This looks like the end! I never learned how to reeeeead!" Pit panics, believing that he's finished as none of his best friends will be able to rescue him.
'Ugh, pull yourself together! I've got you covered.' Viridi assured him, much to his absolute surprise.
"Viridi!"
'All you have to do is line yourself up with the platform below.' Viridi calmed him to comply to her orders, in which he has no other choice since he hates dying.
BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Aurum Brain's Fortress (First Half)
Having successfully aligned himself with the large platform Viridi sent in, Pit painfully lands on a lone floating strip of earth, "Ouch…"
'Whew, I'm glad you're all right.' Palutena let out a smiling sigh of relief at his survival.
"But why did you save me, Viridi? I don't get it." Pit wondered why the nature goddess is being nicer than usual.
'There's nothing to get. Just shut your yapper and get ready to fight!' Viridi retorted.
'By invading our land, the Aurum have declared war on all of us. And with Pyrrhon and Dark Phoenix on their side, they've become even more powerful! If we don't defeat them today, we may not have a tomorrow.' Palutena noted the urgency of the situation.
'Ugh, do you ever get tired of being such a nerd? All you need are twenty-sided dice and some thick glasses.' Viridi sassed.
'My X-ray specs allow me to see your ignorance.' quipped Palutena, actually wearing those specs just to mess with her.
'Yeah yeah, enough with the lame comedy routine. It's time for us to strike!' Viridi proclaimed fiercely, 'Spider-Man, you and the girls deal with Dark Phoenix! Sonic, I'm looking forward watching you crush Grimadoom!'
"Leave it to me!" Dreamcaster Sonic complied with a smile.
"Pit, I'm counting on you! Defeat Pyrrhon and save your world! I believe in you, little brother!" Spidey expressed, starting to openly acknowledge the angel as family.
"You do…?" Pit reacted with heartfelt shock from being called his little brother, which was enough to strengthen his unwavering resolve to save the world, "Yeah! I won't let you down! We will win this!"
The time for talk is over for now. There's an Aurum Invasion that needs to be stopped. And though the Goddess Avengers Alliance is divided across space, they will never stop being united to save this world. Pit is on his way to defeat Pyrrhon, coolly equipping himself with the Lancer Staff that is already helping him slay dozens of Aurum Soldiers that want him dead. In the meantime, Iron Spider fires off double full-powered repulsor beams only for them to promptly disappear from a calm gesture by Dark Phoenix. She attacks with a winged dash strike that her enemy evades thanks to his Spider Reflexes, which are pushed to their limits when Spidey is avoiding her hefty swarm of psionic fireballs.
"C'mon, Jeannie, don't you recognize your friendly neighborhood Web-Buddy? I'm pretty much BFFs with your husband Cyclops. And Wolverine. What do you see in rude hairs anyway? Never understand that love triangle." Spidey joked amidst dodging her fireball storm.
"Silence, insect!" retorted Dark Phoenix, angrily using her telekinesis to keep him still so her fireballs could bombard him severely. She then fires off a massive fireball that Spidey is ready to block and hope he'll survive, though the blast is reflected and knocks aback the cosmic being thanks to the timely arrival of God Weiss and her glyphs.
"Are you okay?" Weiss asked her leader.
"Yeah." Spidey assured her, just as God Lucina joins their side.
"Her dark power reminds me too much of the Fell Dragon, down to how it is possessing a friendly soul to wreak destruction." God Lucina commented sternly.
"That's the Phoenix Force in a nutshell." Spidey quipped, "From what I analyzed, this Phoenix is weaker than the one in my dimension. Probably the only girl that's still a bit out of Pyrrhon's league. We can only beat her if we work together! Hit her with everything until she cools off! Don't even give her a second to think!" He said with such confidence that makes it believable that three mortals can defeat the all-mighty Phoenix Force.
"Right!" The Girls retorted determinedly, ready to comply to the orders of their leader.
The recovered Dark Phoenix laughs at the children she considers fools for believing they stand a chance against her unrivaled fury and readies herself to unleash more of her fiery wrath. With but a thought, she summons a horde of clones made from her own cosmic fire that she commands to attack the Avengers. God Weiss counters her clones with ice clones of her favorite Arma Gigas Grimm. Fire and ice then clash in an elemental brawl of epic proportions, with the swordsmanship of the Arma Gigases handling themselves decently against the fireballs of the Phoenix Clones. Weiss entraps the real Dark Phoenix within a massive icy tornado that is assisted by Spidey's repulsors to keep her at bay, which fails quickly as she frees herself and knocks back her enemies with one furious flaming burst. But at blinding speeds that her telepathy is having trouble keeping track, Phoenix is assaulted from all angles by God Lucina's blitzingly powerful slashes. Just before she is repelled, the princess is saved by Spidey tasering Phoenix's forehead with electric webbing in hopes of weakening her psychic abilities and preparing her for a devastating combo from the god girls. The Deific Huntress attacks the enemy with a powerful cold beam, covering her and a large portion of the battlefield in ice that is growing outward while the Divine Princess lengthens her sword. Once at full power, Lucina dashes at ferocious speeds for a critically powerful slash through the ice until it reaches Jean, who blocks the giant sword with an effortless, scowling fire barrier that shocks the future warrior. Getting irritated, the telekinetic Phoenix pushes then swings her onto Weiss so both wannabe gods can be crushed brutally between two massive MOE Battleships that she pulled together.
"Think fast!" Suddenly, Spidey blinds Dark Phoenix with webbing that makes it easier to wallop her with superfast dashing strikes before he is repelled onto the moon by a furious psychic blast. He appears dazed, an opening she uses to kill him with a massive flame beam heading straight for him. Spidey won't allow it as his body is actually undergoing his fearsome transformation into his Beast Out State, roaring, "GRAAAAAAAWR!", before dashing at the flames with the monstrous force to disperse them amidst flying toward and landing an outrageously devasting punch to Dark Phoenix's shocked face, sending her flying through space until she crashes onto an Aurum Battleship.

That last punch really did damage, much to Dark Phoenix's own shock after it took her several seconds to recover on her hovering feet. "I see…So that body is too possessed by a primordial spirit unique to the cosmos." She said to Iron Beast Spider, thanking her psionics for helping her realize The Other within him.
"Not possessed. Unified. YOU'RE the one using Jean as nothing but a puppet!" Iron Beast Spider argued.
BGM-Dragon Ball FighterZ OST-Theme of Cooler
"It does not matter. You are still a bug in the eyes of Dark Phoenix! My flames have destroyed whole planets, so what chance do your webs have?" Dark Phoenix taunted.
"Very little, honestly. Best they can be used as are fire extinguishers. You are looking a bit too hotheaded." quipped Spidey, which infuriates the world destroyer as her bursting flames are more determined than ever to kill him and this dimension.
As the fierce battle between The Other and the Phoenix Force intensifies, so does the magnificent clash between Dream and Chaos. Sonic and Grimadoom are relentless in their speed battle and refusing to slow anything down as their clashing is taking them from space down through Earth's atmosphere. Every colliding punch unleash shockwaves. Every clashing blast causes explosions. They're fighting so extremely fast and so ferociously fierce that even the gods can't keep track of them forever.
'Whoa, so fast! Are you still following this, Palutena?' commented Viridi, left flabbergasted by their godly fighting.
'Nope, totally lost. But I can still feel their colliding powers shaking the Earth, affecting all three realms! This is absurd!' remarked Palutena, left amazed by the powers these godlike mortals are wielding.
One mighty explosion erupts in Skyworld, with Ultimate Grimadoom appearing from the smoke to grab Dreamcaster Sonic's face and ruthlessly slamming him down through multiple floating islands at speeds beyond light. Sonic thinks fast and uses the Dream Stone's power to create a horde of Dreamy Tails that surprise and smack away Grimadoom with their namesakes, freeing the hero in the process as they continue falling through the sky and juggling the enemy with powerful tail swipes and kicks. While some of the Tails keep him occupied, Sonic joins together with the other two-tailed foxes to perform a massive and much stronger Spin Dash that slams into the dark double, smashing him so hard through a ground that they arrive in the Underworld from Skyworld.
Just seconds before reaching an Underworld ground, Grimadoom uses Chaos Control to warp himself there safely and manifest a gigantic version of the Incredible Hulk's hand to uppercut Sonic out of his Dreamy Rolling Combo. "Shooting Claw!" shouted Grimadoom, raining down the severed claws of a Beowolf Grimm that were successful in getting Sonic to dodge and leave himself open to be blasted by a charged energy beam. Warping closer, the roaring Doom Son attacks with another Hulk Punch, just as the screaming Sonic counters with the large spiked fist of Dreamy Knuckles. Both cosmic powers engage in a clash that illuminates the entire Underworld, cracking the ground around them, all while the yelling warriors struggle for absolute dominance with all their strength. After that intense stalemate, Sonic is caught by a surprise punch and sent crashing to the ground. But as Grimadoom prepares to finish him, he is swiftly uppercutted by numerous Dreamy Knuckles erupting from the ground as part of Sonic's secret contingency plan.
All the fake echidnas smash Grimadoom from the Underworld to the Overworld, where he wipes them out with a furious burst of energy. Sonic suddenly appears before him with his own stylized Piko Piko Hammer that is instantly blocked by his rival's own stylized Crescent Rose. They clash weapons for a while in the sky, with the purple hedgehog supporting himself with Dreamy Amys, and the green hedgehog assisting himself with his own psychic clones. Again, Grimadoom manages to overpower his rival after crushing his dream friends and tearing open a rift in spacetime. He then bombards Sonic with a relentless onslaught of his clones, which ultimately slam the helpless hero into Grim's attack range where he's sliced by his massive scythe. The wounded Sonic survived the attack and immediately retaliates with a much stronger combo that starts by slamming his rival into the ground with a Spin Dash before assaulting him with Spin Attacks all over his whole body, leading Grima to be kicked so hard that he's sent flying across the entire planet before being pierced by a devastating Spin Dash from the other side.

For the next moment, both hedgehogs take a little break from the marvelous fighting to catch their breaths. They were hitting each other with astonishing blows that it's surprising the planet endured them. Grimadoom strikes a fighting stance with a confidence demeanor, prompting Sonic to do the same but with a stern expression. Then, Grimadoom says, "The Dream Stone's power is truly astounding. Reminds me of the myth about the Greek God of Dreams that can put men and gods to sleep. Why don't you do the same? You're a lover of freedom. A hero that despises oppression. Use that power to defeat the gods and bring forth true freedom for all of mankind!"
"I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm already free." Sonic replied sternly.
"Yet you allowed yourself to become a servant of the gods." Grimadoom refuted calmly, "You've seen how primitive this dimension is. Always caught in wars between gods and leave their messes to be cleaned up by man. It has no Avengers, no Freedom Fighters, hell, no Shepherds. The gods have established a world of limitations. To prevent people like you and me from reaching our true potential. They're the kind of selfish beings that can destroy the world on a whim if something isn't done about it…"
"Oh just stop it. I've given up trying to listen to you." Sonic retorted, much to his rival's slight curiosity, "I've no interest in understanding your ideals! 'Sides, your folks have been destroying dimensions, so you have no room to talk. And like I told you…" And as he dashes at his foe, he fiercely proclaims that, "I'M ALREADY LIVING HAPPILY AND FREE!"
BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Aurum Brain's Fortress (First Half)
"What a blind, hopeless idiot you are." Grimadoom laughed mockingly whilst getting himself ready to counter and continue brawling with his nemesis.
Back in space, Pit continues being escorted by the Forces of Nature carrying his platform toward the Aurum Brain Fortress for his battle with Pyrrhon. It's been a tough journey so far, fighting off enemies and fighting through an Aurum Aircraft Carrier that was flying overhead and engulfing his platform, prompting him to be careful maneuvering through the damage-inflicting halls until he reaches the exit.
"I made it out of the ship!" Pit exclaimed.
'Good job, but there are enemies closing in from all directions. Watch out!' Palutena warned him.
'I would send my Dark Avengers to help, but they too are occupied with Aurum forces.' said Loki, glancing at his mortal team that are completely distracted fending off a massive Aurum horde.
'Our little sun buddy must have a thing for you, Pit.' Hades commented.
'Of course he does. Pit and the Avengers are the only ones that loon considers equals.' Viridi snarked. Soon after, his platform becomes sandwiched between two Aurum Destroyers, prompting Viridi to command her forces to push the platform out, 'Good! You broke free!'
'HA HA HA HA HA! I see you're hard at work!' Pyrrhon joked.
"Pyrrhon!" Pit scowled at the traitor.

'Pyrrhon Creed Number 427: Hard work should always be rewarded! Which is why I got a present. For me. To destroy you. It's Pyroblaster time!' Pyrrhon decided.
"Huh?!" Pit retorted whilst spotting terrifying flames building up within the fortress, "Uh-oh!"
'Hold on!' Viridi shouted.
With outrageous suddenness, a massive fire beam shoots out from the fortress and connects with the platform's side, causing Pit to exclaim, "Augh!", and Viridi to shout, 'Come on, Pit! No wimping out!'
Her Nutskis beneath the platform endure the flames with their everything, refusing to disappoint their goddess to the point of sacrificing themselves for Pit's safety just as the beam dissipates. 'See? You're fine. Though I can't say the same for my troops that were carrying your platform.' Viridi frowned.
"I feel terrible about this." Pit said, feeling guilty about their deaths.
'Our Forces of Nature allies made the ultimate sacrifice. But there's no point dwelling. I called for backup.' Palutena responded.
BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST- Aurum Brain's Fortress (Second Half)
The platform falls from beneath Pit, sending him falling again whilst noticing several Centurion Strongarms fly by his surprise. "Centurions?!" He remarked before landing back on the platform, which is now being carried by the Centurions, "Whew. That was close."
"Glad to see you're safe, Captain!" said a Centurion Strongarm.
"The centurions are in way over their heads!" Pit retorted.
'They mean well. They're just not very effective.' Palutena said.
'Pretty harsh words for your own troops.' Viridi sassed.
"Pull them out! I don't want them to get hurt!" Pit said, refusing his troops in fear of them getting hurt.
'Then how do you plan to make it to Pyrrhon?' Palutena questioned him.
"I-I'll think of something!" Pit retorted, thinking for alternatives that sadly do not exist.
"We live to serve, Captain! Your mission is to defeat Pyrrhon and eliminate the Aurum forces! We dedicate our energy and resources to helping you reach that goal!" The Centurion Strongarm argued with his captain.
Left with no other choice, Pit is convinced to press on with their aid. "…OK, OK. Then charge, soldiers!" He ordered energetically.
Meanwhile, Iron Beast Spider-Man just blocked a fire blast from Dark Phoenix that was still powerful enough to push him back several miles. The Other is amazingly powerful on its own, but its primal power alone cannot overcome the immortal flames that is the Phoenix Force. God Weiss and God Lucina regroup with him, just as he glances at Pit taking an alternative route into the fortress since the previous one is consumed in flames. "Pit got back in! Let's hurry and finish this fight!" Spidey told his teammates.
"Her flames are waning. We need to reveal an opening and defeat her in one blow." Lucina recommended.
"I'll take care of it! Just get me that opening!" Spidey ordered.
Dark Phoenix expresses a malicious smile that is a dreadful sign to all that she's ready to finish this fight. Her conjured flames take the shape of a giant phoenix that unleashes a full power fire wave at all three heroes, with God Weiss creating a desperate energy barrier that is soon shattered by the flames that consume them. As the dust settles, it would appear that only Spider-Man died from the attack that is burning his motionless body. "The Spider is finished. As for you two…" Dark Phoenix turns her grinning head over to the god girls that managed to survive her attack, with Lucina retaliating with explosive bow shots that are blocked by her fire shield whilst her Phoenix Summon fires another fire beam at Weiss. Again, the huntress blocks it with a barrier that won't last forever, prompting the arrogant Phoenix to boast, "No matter how many times you shield yourself or shoot arrows at me, it's meaningless! What are you stalling for?"
Her question is answered by the smirk on Weiss's face as she retorts, "Tell us. You're the psychic blinded by arrogance."
Realization then hits Phoenix like a truck upon seeing the massive smoke beside her. Lucina's arrows weren't meant to hurt her. They were meant to create a smokescreen for the one Avenger that can beat her. That being a very much alive Iron Beast Spider-Man powering his X-Aura up to its risky peak, enveloping his body with immense energy. "Ahhh, overconfidence. The one thing in the universe more powerful than the Phoenix Force." Spidey quipped while webbing his fists with Holy Webbing for extra power, then proceeds to rocket himself in a marvelous instant to pierce through her Phoenix Summon at incredible speed, destroying it in the process.
"I thought I burned the spider alive! Don't tell me!" Dark Phoenix glances at the burning body of the other Spider-Man, which is actually a hard-light hologram deployed as a convincing decoy to throw her off. "A hologram!?" She exclaimed with furious surprise, leaving herself distracted for Lucina to take full advantage of.
"You fell for it. You've lost." Lucina then attacks Jean from behind with her electrified sword, stunning her for Spider-Man to finish the job.
The Web Warrior had unleashed his full power that is being used as an invincible flying tackle that is smashing Dark Phoenix through Earth's atmosphere with the roaring intent to defeat her. Clouds spin and split apart as they clear them in their descent as a shooting star. Weak yet furiously defiant, Phoenix grabs his head and tries burning him alive for good this time, but Spidey refuses to give up. To give into the pain and let his friends down. Countless people will die unless he defeats this Black Angel once and for all. Pushing himself beyond his limits, Peter ignores the flames burning through his armor and continues tackling Jean toward a massive ocean on the planet. "SORRY FISHIESSSSSSS!" He screamed, with them both crashing into the ocean with the stupendous force to cause a humongous slashing explosion that hides their fate.

'He did it! Those humans actually defeated Dark Phoenix!' Viridi commented with celebratory shock, sensing Dark Phoenix's defeat from that last attack.
'One hottie down, one hothead left.' Hades quipped.
'But where is Spider-Man?! I've lost track of him! Can't contact him! I warned him using The Other and his X-Aura at the same time would be reckless!' Palutena retorted with great distress, fearing her friend may have met his end alongside Phoenix.
"Just have faith in him, Lady Palutena. I know he's still alive. Just as I know he's counting on us to finish the job." Pit calmly assured his goddess. Before, Pit would always worry about his friends whenever they are forced to deal with a difficult threat alone. But now he trusts them. Believes in them to overcome any obstacle. A good sign of him growing up.
Somewhere in the Aurum Brain Fortress…
BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Under Siege
This has not been Doctor Octopus's day. First his plan to destroy the dimension was foiled by the Avengers, and now he's forced to fight through a hall filled with the same Aurum forces that were his allies several minutes ago because of an arrogant sun god. Ock is just as arrogant as he refuses to lose to anyone no matter the species. So while the heroes are keeping most of the Aurum Army distracted, the tentacled doctor finishes off the last of interior security blocking him to a computer console for his desperate usages.
"There it is! I must hurry!" Ock rushes to the console and uses his tentacles to help him hack into the Aurum mainframe, "Though I lost direct access to the Aurum Brain, with this terminal, I should be able to hack back into its systems and regain control of the aliens!" But quickly after, he hits a digital roadblock that frustrates him to no end, "What? No! They are adapting! Curse that Pyrrhon's stupidity! His assimilation has made its firewalls near-invulnerable! The Aurum are out of control! Already they're turning against us in the other dimensions! They'll destroy us all and the entire multiverse at this rate!" He then thinks of a new strategy, one that requires a great sacrifice for the Masters of Evil to live on and conquer universes another day, "…I'm left with no choice. This method should at least rid me of some of my enemies…You may keep the Aurum, Pyrrhon. All the way to your grave!" He said ominously, managing to hack into and activate the base's self-destruction program that is counting down from 5 minutes. More than enough time for the doctor to retreat with a sinister smile.

'We're closing in on Pyrrhon!' Viridi announced, while the angel is avoiding lasers being fired from outside by Aurum Battleships in their last-ditch efforts to kill him.
'I hope he's decent.' Hades joked.
'Get it together, Pit! My poor centurions are struggling. Destroy those enemies NOW!' Palutena started panicking as soon as she watches hordes of Aurum enemies swarm the angel and wounding her centurions.
"I'm trying my best!" Pit retorted while fighting to the best of his ability.
'Some goddess needs to go to leadership training…' Loki sassed.
It's been a while since Pit has fought by himself. He has been fighting alongside the Dimensional Avengers throughout this dimensional adventure, but they're busy outside fending off enemies forces and trusting him to end the Aurum threat forever. Pit is so close to Pyrrhon that he's pulling out all the stops, all his weapons, just to clear a path to defeating him. His Bow takes out a few goons with its homing arrows, then blasts down several more with a Blade and Palm, right before shielding himself with his Guardian Orbitars to obliterate more aliens with his Insight Staff, and when an Aurum Frost Giant lands on his platform to kill him, the speedy little angel counters with an awesome combo that utilizes his Arm and Claw weapons before knocking off the giant with a mighty swing of his Ore Club, all of that happening in swift succession.

"There…" Pit panted, quickly catching his breath to order his unharmed centurions, "Keep moving forward!"
'Pyrrhon is right up ahead!' Palutena announced that he encroach on the boss chamber.
'Halt. Halt. Stay. Away.' warned Pyrrhon, strangely starting to communicate in a rather simple, monotonic voice.
"Does something seem a little off about Pyrrhon?" Pit noticed his strange behavior.
'How can you even tell?' Palutena snarked, not noticing him acting any different as her angel advances into the center of the fortress.
Upon arriving at the boss chamber, Pit encounters Pyrrhon, who is looking a little different from before. His whole body has fused with the Aurum Brain's surface, and that's not all. "01101011011010010110110001101100…" The sun god twitches massively and intensely while speaking in binary that just translates into "kill".
"Pyrrhon! What are you doing?!" Pit retorted.
BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Boss Fight 1
Doctor Octopus knew this would happen to Pyrrhon. It would seem that after he tried to take over the Aurum Brain and control its vast army, the Brain won the battle of minds and absorbed Pyrrhon, destroying his free will and using him as another weapon in its arsenal by the name of Aurum Pyrrhon.
"Are you really controlling the Aurum, Pyrrhon? Or are they controlling you?!" Pit accused him.
Surprisingly, the real Pyrrhon struggles to counter that claim, "I…I…I will not be controlled…", only for his will to be completely overtaken by the Aurum, "WE WILL NOT BE CONTROLLED."
"Oh, boy. What's he gotten himself into?" Pit scowled, now left with no other choice but to defeat his former ally.
'It's just as you suspected. The Aurum Brain has overtaken Pyrrhon.' Palutena confirmed.
"INTRUDER MUST BE PURGED. WE MUST CONSUME ALL." stated robotically by Aurum Pyrrhon. Pit then fires an arrow barrage that the corrupted god deflects completely with a blue barrier before retaliating with fireballs mixed with godly alien power. The hero angel dodges what he can, but with so little moving space, it was inevitably that some fireballs would hit him hard and nearly knock him off the platform, yet nowhere close enough to burn away his indomitable fighting spirit.
'Just like bugs, the Aurum are powerful as a swarm, but not very bright.' Hades commented.
'The Masters must have used some sort of computer program to keep the Aurum in line, which was destroyed when Pyrrhon decided to steal control using his own foolish brain.' Loki guessed correctly in how the Masters of Evil controlled the Aurum before.
'They're like moths drawn to the flame of battle. They live only to consume and destroy, like...hungry moths.' Palutena remarked.
"WE WILL MULTIPLY. WE MUST BE ALL." Pyrrhon said, throwing multiple gravitating mines down on the platform, with Pit smacking away all but one that nearly blew him into smithereens.
'In that sense, they're pretty much like any other living creature. They're concerned with their own survival and propagation. Each species influences the other, and THAT is the cycle of life! But this... This is just too much. It's too destructive and too unnatural!' Viridi expressed with horrified disgust for the alien's insatiable hunger for destruction.
'Well, they are an alien species. Of course they're not natural.' Palutena quipped.
"So they're just going to eat everything?!" Pit remarked.
'Not if you stop them!' Palutena retorted, placing absolute faith in his remarkable ability to stop the Aurum and save the world.
An energy shot from an unknown force hits Pit while he was distracted with the frustrating blue shield that keeps nullifying his attacks. Pit quickly discovers that the unknown force is really one of four green orbs surrounding the sun god, visibly linked to his barrier, which gives the angel the great idea to destroy the orbs in order to disable his barrier. With a shot from his Insight Staff, he destroys an orb. That act angers the sun god into launching fiery serpents that Pit swiftly evades before shooting out the second orb. The third orb is soon obliterated by the captain jumping up from fiery orange rings that tried to constrict him. More gravitating mines are then thrown at Pit, forcing him to shoot them down first before unleashing the powerful shot that destroys the final orb. "Shield shattered, coward! Time for you to pay for all the friends and worlds you destroyed!" He declared, being relentless with his all-out staff blasts that ends with a dashing shot that severely harms Aurum Pyrrhon.
"YOU CANNOT STOP US! LESS THAN ONE MINUTE UNTIL CHAOS ENERGY CANNON IS FULLY CHARGED! THE EARTH WILL BE DESTROYED! THEN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE!" Aurum Pyrrhon proclaimed hauntedly upon reactivating the Chaos Energy Cannon.
"Oh no! I'm running out of time!" Pit exclaimed.
'Then we'll buy you some!' New Goblin suddenly chimes into the telepathic chat room.
"Goblin!" Pit retorted in shock from hearing his voice.
Elsewhere in the Fortress, Harry leads his Dark Avengers to the massive core chamber of the Chaos Energy Cannon. "Managed to give the Aurum the slip! You focus in defeating Pyrrhon! Dark Avengers, wreck this cannon from the inside out!" Harry ordered fiercely.
The Dark Avengers comply to their orders and proceed to go ballistic on everything. Pipework is slashed by Dark Lucina. Anything hot is frozen by Dark Weiss. Dark Sonic goes on a maniacal rampage bouncing around and through even the most non-important components. And New Goblin chucks enough pumpkin bombs that causes several parts of the Chaos Energy Cannon to glow from the inside out, signifying that it is badly damaged.
Meanwhile, Pit's hot battle with Aurum Pyrrhon is reaching its conclusion as both warriors prepare to put their everything in this last attack. The sun god conjures up a large fireball that should nuke Pit into oblivion, while the angel gets ready to counter that fate by charging his Poseidon Cannon with the watery power to douse his flames forever. Pyrrhon was about to throw his attack when he suddenly feels the Chaos Energy Cannon being destroyed, stunning him with whiplash that cancels his own attack and expresses to Pit of his clear-cut vulnerability. "Now…Pit…" grunted Pyrrhon, regaining just little control over himself to tell him to take the shot.
"Sorry about this, Pyrrhon." Pit apologized sincerely, pulling the trigger on his Poseidon Cannon that smashes the full divine force of a flood right onto his former ally, finally defeating him.

"Go back to space!" Pit exclaimed victoriously.
"RAAAAAAAAAAWR!" Aurum Pyrrhon yelled in flaming defeat.
Simultaneously, the defeated Aurum Pyrrhon begins exploding just as Ock's self-destruction program reaches zero. 'I need to extract you!' expressed Palutena, forced to have her Centurion Strongarms quickly rush Pit away from the exploding room.
"This seems familiar." Pit noticed.
'We've been doing this a lot.' Palutena joked.
Pit, as well as the Dark Avengers, narrowly makes it out before the explosion engulfs the interior of the fortress. That was just the start of the spectacle, as the Aurum Brain Fortress is suffering numerous explosions around its hull before it is completely destroyed in a single gigantic explosion that also erased Pyrrhon from existence. And with the Aurum Brain no more, all Aurum forces in this and every other dimension suffering invasion are instantly rendered disabled, ending their threat on the multiverse.
'Huh. I was half-expecting Pyrrhon to push the Aurum to the other end of the galaxy.' Palutena commented.
'Better to let them die than let them live.' Viridi sassed.
"So long, space scum!" Pit taunted before being extracted back to Skyworld.
Dark Phoenix is defeated. Pyrrhon is dead. The Masters of Evil are left licking their wounds. And the Aurum have been vanquished from reality. There is just one last threat that needs to be taken care of, and Dreamcaster Sonic is in the middle of confronting him in Skyworld. Ultimate Grimadoom. Who just notices the Aurum Brain Fortress's destruction without a care in the world.
"Looks like your plan just went up in smoke." Sonic taunted his rival.
Forebodingly, the smirking Grimadoom laughs, "I wouldn't worry about that. The Aurum served their purpose. I'm still three moves ahead of you, so…"
The Bio-Android then fires off an energy blast that consumes his rival, producing a brilliant flash of light that temporarily blinds him. But the blast was so weak that it caused no damage to Sonic, who hovers in the sky wondering what Grimadoom is planning now. As the dust settles, his plan becomes horrifically clear upon Sonic looking up. Grim used that fake blast to distract Sonic long enough to create a gigantic sphere fueled by the darkest of his Cosmic Chaos Magic. 'No! You wouldn't!' Palutena exclaimed upon realizing that blast is powerful enough to destroy the entire planet.
Grimadoom laughs sinisterly, "Ignorant fools! Always worried about gods and aliens when this mortal surpassed them all!" Then furiously yells at all enemies listening, "SAY GOODBYE TO THIS FILTHY PLANET!", before launching his ultimate attack with the intent on destroying Sonic along with the Earth.
The Dimensional and Dark Avengers are weak from battle. Spider-Man is still missing. The Gods' armies are hopelessly powerless against this threat beyond gods. Only Sonic stands between Earth and absolute annihilation. If he falls, they all fall, and Sonic absolutely refuses to let that happen. He unleashes his dream aura to maximum power, and with a mighty defiant roar that goes, "HRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!", he puts out his two hands to catch the dark sphere that is already pressuring and pushing him back toward the planet's surface.
"You imbecile! I guess you're pretty good…but I am the strongest in all dimensions!" Grimadoom laughed mockingly whilst watching his rival delay his fate.
The cosmic struggle continues as Sonic feels his feet crashing into the earth. "I-I won't let you do harm to this planet!" He grunted with teeth-gritting intensity. Slowly but surely, the Freedom Fighter is losing ground as it quite literally breaks apart from the sheer pressure of his magnificent power that is failing to deflect the energy sphere. Until it manages to overwhelm and bury the quickster into the earth.
'SONIIIIIIIC!' Viridi yelled with great genuine worry for the hedgehog that she has come to care deeply for.
'NOOOOOO!' Palutena screamed with startling horror upon believing he just died.
'The planet is doomed!' Loki expressed with terrified shock.
'I'm movin' out!' Hades joked, ready to evacuate to another dimension for his own safety.
Grimadoom laughs, "Say goodbye to this pathetic little rock! Finally, the gods will become extinct!", before letting out a more maniacal laughter that makes him and everyone else on the planet believe that its fate is sealed.
However, a small light of hope remains. That light of hope being the Dream Stone. Its energies begin glowing within Sonic's body, resonating with his pure indomitable spirit. It reacts to his unspoken wish to save his friends. This dimension and its countless people, gods and mortals alike, from Grimadoom's twisted sense of judgement. The Dream Stone grants his wish.
BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Go Beyond the Limits
Just before Ultimate Grimadoom's attack destroys the planet, a brilliant golden light erupts from the battlegrounds and awashes everything in a calming storm of gold that seamlessly merges the whole world with a dreamy version of Green Hill Zone, much to the absolute surprise of all its inhabitants and Grimadoom. "Impossible! An Exo Storm?! But it's different from the others!" Grimadoom expressed with incredible shock.
'The Dream Stone…It caused reality and dream to meld. Does this mean we're inside Sonic's dream…?' Palutena commented, sounding very uncertain for an all-knowing deity.
The surprises keep on coming, mainly toward Grimadoom as he bears witness to Dreamcaster Sonic breaking through his limits and obtaining the power to finally start countering his gigantic energy sphere. 'I get it! This is a Dream World, where the Dream Stone can unleash its true power! The hedgehog's dream for freedom is made manifest here, drawing more power from those that share the same wish!' Loki shockingly deduced.
A cunning Viridi then retorts, 'If that's the case, then Sonic, I have a wish! I wish for you to CLOBBER Grimadoom and free the Earth! BLAST HIM TO THE OUTER LIMITS OF SPACE!'
Upon regaining his determined footing, Sonic grants her wish by smirking, "YOU GOT IT!", and unleashing a roaringly devastating energy beam that's the size of a continent and with the power to send Grimadoom's attack right back at him in an instant.
"WHAT!?" Grimadoom exclaimed with horrific shock in his face. He tries stopping both blasts in vain as they completely overpower him, causing him to scream, "UWAAAAAAAAAAGH!", while sent hurtling far into outer space. "I-I will not be defeated like this!" He told himself amidst his struggling to save himself. It gets even worse when he realizes he's being blasted toward the sun, "You must be kidding!" His body then crashes into the sun that is not only burning him alive but also the remaining energy of his CSP, reverting him to his base form that is struggling to endure twice the pain. And yet, despite the feeling he might die here, the supreme android can't help but to smile and laugh and think, 'You mastered that Stone quite well. Are there no limits to what you heroes can do? Hmph…You guys just might be the ones who can stand up to it…To the fate ordained by the gods…'

In a twisted bid for true freedom for mortals, Grimadoom had vowed to defeat the gods, but he was utterly defeated by Sonic's limit-transcending power. In place of his defeat is an explosion the size of the solar system emanating from the sun. The Earth's skies darkened, just for a moment, as it didn't take long for the clear blue skies to reign supreme once again.
That whole ordeal completely drained Sonic out of his Dreamcaster Form and left him lying on the ground in total exhaustion. "Everyone…I…I did it." He smiled peacefully.
"Sonic!" Suddenly, the hedgehog is picked up by a smiling Pit, with Weiss and Lucina standing beside them and no longer in their God Forms.
"Good job." Weiss smiled sincerely at the hedgehog's victory.
"Y-You're…You're okay? I'm so glad…" Sonic said weakly to his friends that also survived the battle.
"We still have not found Spider-Man." Lucina remarked, expressing worry for her spider-leader.
"I'm sure he's sleeping somewhere around here." Weiss snarked.
Elsewhere…
BGM-Spider-Man 3 (Game) OST-Black Suit Theme #3
Iron Spider and Dark Phoenix wash ashore on a beach after their suicidal crash onto the ocean. Both are still alive, but just barely. Peter is out cold and out of energy and with a body covered in critical wounds. Jean is wounded just as severely but is managing to rouse herself from unconsciousness. Just before she awakens, however, the Chaos Bringer is stabbed through the heart by a familiar green sword that ends her existence right then and there, causing her whole being to disintegrate into nothing.
That sword, of course, belongs to New Goblin. With the Aurum destroyed and the Masters of Evil defeated, the alliance between gods have disbanded. Skyworld, Underworld, and the Forces of Nature will soon restart their God War, meaning that Harry and Peter are back to being bitter rivals. Which might not last as Harry is ready to kill the unconscious hero.
"If only I could cause you the pain that you've caused me." Harry said to him darkly, "You're all alone. No one to save you as you die!"
His sword was just mere inches away from impaling Peter through the heart when his head suddenly aches with memories of his past again. He recalls reconciling with his Spider-Man, and recalls their amazing teamup action against Sandman and Venom. But the memory that really stopped him from killing this Peter is the one of his tragic sacrifice to save his Peter from Venom's wrath. "GUAGH!" Harry gasped with so much shock that he drops his sword whilst falling backwards, "What has been going on with me? My head…These memories…I…I made peace with Peter…Forgave him…Sacrificed myself for him. So then why…Why do I still want to kill him?" He asked himself, starting to realize his memories have been manipulated by a divine force that vaguely feels like a certain God of Mischief.

"Back off, Gobs!"
Harry suddenly finds himself confronted by Phosphora threatening to kill him with her lightning if he dares to make a move on Spider-Man. Still confused by his own memories, Harry decides to hop onto his Sky Stick and retreat to the skies to fight another day. The concerned Phosphora is left alone with the unconscious webslinger and hurries to check on him, "Spider? Spider-Man? You okay?"
"Ughhhh…" Peter groaned weakly, which was enough to assure Lightning Flash that he's alive.
"Thank goodness. Get some rest, Handsome Man. You earned it." Phosphora said sincerely while picking him up. "Mistress Viridi! I found Spider-Man!" She contacted her goddess, who was the one that orchestrated Spidey's rescue.
'Great job, Phosphora! Knew you would find him in no time!' Viridi praised her commander, 'Hey Palutena! You can have your bugman back!'
'Thank you so much, Viridi. Didn't know you were already on the search and rescue.' Palutena replied gratefully.
'Would you keep that to yourself? I don't want the mortals to get the wrong idea or I'll never hear the end of it.' Viridi retorted, hiding her growing respect for the human heroes that saved their dimension from destruction.
Palutena giggles, 'Sure. But you have to admit. They were amazing today.'
'For better or worse.' Viridi sassed, with both goddesses realizing the limitless potential of mortals, 'I'm just glad the Masters are dealt with.'
'Now we can get back to eliminating the real enemy. Loki and the Underworld Army.' Palutena declared determinedly, extracting Spider-Man so he and the Dimensional Avengers can take their well-earned rest for saving the world from the Aurum Invasion.
Outer Space.
BGM-Metroid Prime 2: Echoes OST-Dark Samus Appears!
All that remains of Grimadoom after the fight are nothing but his cells and ashes floating in the boundless void. His quest for ultimate power has come to an end. Or so it may seem. One of his cells begin pulsating with life, throbbing with the eager energy to regrow an entire body. And so it does. Slowly. Hauntedly. Ominously. Until everything and his clothes are flexed upon his supreme rebirth. Grimadoom the Hedgehog is revived.
"THAT was too close for comfort." joked Grimadoom, casually cracking his neck several times to relieve himself from his near-death experience.
Upon his regeneration, Grim notices one of Doctor Octopus's Sinister Ships flying to pick him up. He teleports into the ship and finds himself greeted by the Masters of Evil consisting of Enchantress, Super-Skrull, Moonstone, Living Laser, and Doc Ock himself. "There you are. For a moment I thought you died." Ock stoically welcomed back his creation.
"You need to take more pride in the mystic bio-mechanical regeneration you guys programmed me with. I can regenerate indefinitely as long as my nucleus remains intact, for the most part. I'm damn near invincible." Grimadoom snarked smirkingly, explaining how he survived being blasted into the sun.
"Much to my discomfort." Ock scowled, fearing they have made Grimadoom too powerful.
"So what now? With the Aurum gone, we can't make anymore CSPs. Gonna make conquering dimensions a lot harder. Doom's not gonna be happy." Moonstone said, changing topics to something more serious.
"I know!" Ock snarled, "I'll report to him once we return to Latveria! Except for you three…!" He turns to the likes of Grimadoom, Enchantress, and Super-Skrull, "You're staying here to initiate our contingency plan. Use it against Skyworld while its heroes are weak and unsuspecting."
"Leave it to us, Doctor. Palutena won't see us coming." Enchantress smiled deviously.
"Do not fail me again! The Dream and Nightmare Stones are a unique pair in the Exo Eight. Their power will MORE than make up for the loss of the Aurum." Ock said with sinister ominous and a revenge plot that will bring the gods closer to their ultimate destruction.

KFX Here: Knew this chapter would be long and yet I'm still surprised by its length. I did my best to pace it well. But that wraps up the Aurum Arc. Next up is the Chaos Kin Arc. Gonna expand on the original source material and add in some original content, such as the destiny of New Goblin. Will he remain bad? Will he become good? The next arc will decide his fate. Also, Sonic's new Dreamcaster Form. Yeah, its named after the Sega Dreamcast.
