Pit: I'm Pit, servant of the goddess Palutena! We finally saved Lady Palutena! I'm so happy that I could cry! We also saved Harry, after his little episode of being a demon. Things were starting to return to normal when the Chaos Kin stole Spider-Man's soul and fled into the Chaos Vortex. I've had it with you messing with my friends! I'm ending you here and now!

Issue 24: Between Chaos and Nightmare
"Where am I?"
Harry Osborn wakes up in a strange void, standing up to find nothing but himself in his civilian clothing. "Hello?" He shouted for a response. Silence. That is all that he received. For that moment.
"Hahahahaha…"
Laughter was heard in that next moment. A hauntingly familiar cackle that echoes throughout the void and concerns Harry into remarking, "This feels familiar. Was that…"
"Son."
Upon turning around, Harry is stunned to be greeted by the man he loved the most. Norman Osborn. His father. The deceased Green Goblin that is looking very alive before his son. "I'm here." Norman smiled at his child.
"Dad? I'm dreaming again…" Harry remarked in disbelief.
"No. Just stuck between life and death. You'll live. And I'll live too. If you wish for it." Norman claimed solemnly.
"What do you mean?" Harry questioned his father.
"Peter is all but done for. Fulfill your destiny. Be strong, Harry. Restore the Osborn family to its greatest glory. Save me." Norman said with loving compassion that doesn't convinces his son. "SAVE MEEEEEE!" He repeated but with a furious yell, which still doesn't budge him a tiny bit.
"No." Harry responded, calmly and staringly. Just like that.
BGM-Marvel's Spider-Man (PS4) OST-Responsibility
Norman looked dumbfounded at his response. Silently surprised at his own son refusing to restore his life. He tries a different approach, switching to an insulting tone that goes, "As usual, you're weak. A disappointment. Always allowing your friends to hold you back from reaching your true potential. You will never change until you take control!"
"Control of WHAT?" Harry snaps back at his own father. "Of everything until you leave yourself too distracted from those closest to you? That's what got you killed in the first place. No. I'm not a disappointment. I'm not weak. Being weak is never learning from our mistakes. Sons must learn from their fathers…And I learned that I am nothing like you. That I can be better if I try and not push away those that love me like I love them. I'm sorry, Dad. I can't move forward if I don't let you go. Just remember that despite of everything…I still love you." He argued fiercely, yet with a voice so filled to the brim with sincere wisdom that his father has no idea how to react. He just stands there, looking more dumbfounded than ever before.
Didn't take long for Norman to regain his stoic composure and approach his son. For a fearful second, Harry believed that he is about to be punished for his disrespectful attitude. That fear was relieved as quickly as himself being hugged by his smiling father. "I am proud of you, my son." Norman said, sincerely praising his son for his strong development.
Tears are shed by the heir as the Osborns embrace, reconciling their relationship. They must savor this moment as it doesn't look like Norman will be sticking around much longer. His body is fading into the light, leaving nothing but a surprise Dream Stone in his place. "You're the…" Harry realized he has fallen under the Dream Stone's influence. Was tested by it. And for passing, he was granted closure with his father before being consumed by its sparkling light.

"Look. He's waking up. Harry!"
Blinking and groaning, Harry awakens in the real world in his unmasked New Goblin costume to find himself staring at the beautiful eyes of Mary Jane Watson. "MJ…" He said tiredly.
"How do you feel?" MJ asked him concernedly, with both Palutena and Nick Fury standing by her side.
"Like myself again." Harry replied serenely, standing up and looking apologetic at his now-former enemies, "MJ, I'm…I'm so sorry. About everything. I didn't mean to hurt anyone."
"It's alright. You weren't yourself. It was Loki and that evil Stone that made you crazy." MJ said with a comforting smile.
"Stone…?" Harry muttered somberly, piquing the redhead's interest.
"Hm?"
"Sorry. I just woke up from the strangest dream." Harry stated, wondering if he really was dreaming that dream about the Dream Stone and his father.
"How was it?" MJ asked.
"It was…nice." Harry smiled sincerely. "By the way, where's Pete?" He then asked about his alternate reality best friend so he could apologize to him.
The mood suddenly gets miserable as Mary Jane gives him the bad news, "Pete is, um…not feeling well."
BGM-Sonic Frontiers OST-The Losing Soul
Harry is then directed to Spider-Man standing at the heart of the temple as an unmasked soulless statue, which stuns the heir to the depths of his crying heart. "No…" He hurries to his side for closer inspection and frantically asking the others, "What happened to him?"
"The Chaos Kin stole his soul. If Palutena didn't turn him into stone at the last moment, he would already be dead." Fury answered stoically.
"I was supposed to be the victim, but our friend made the ultimate sacrifice for me. Peter was a true hero. I am terribly sorry…" Palutena apologized, sincerely to the mortal that was once her enemy.
"This is all my fault…" Harry blamed himself.
"Harry, don't…" MJ frowned.
"But it is!" Harry retorted angrily, "I was the one that fell for Loki's lies and let him and Hades play me like an idiot! They were probably hoping we'd kill each other, and looked what happened!"
"Calm down! It's not too late. Pit and the Dimensional Avengers have already gone up ahead into the Chaos Vortex to retrieve his soul. Won't be long now." Fury assured, directing the reformed Osborn to the large crack in the sky that leads into the Chaos Vortex.
However, Harry seems to disagree, interacting with his wrist device saying, "I can't just stand here and do nothing …", while materializing his Sky Stick glider to hop aboard.
"What are you doing? You haven't fully recovered!" Palutena warned him, not wanting him to venture into the dangerous dimension in his condition.
"I am NOT going to lose my best friend like I lost my dad! I NEED to make things right!" Harry snapped, insisting to join the rescue party as atonement for his villainous actions.
"Just be careful, Harry." MJ frowned, wishing him the best of luck and watching him fly into the Chaos Vortex alone.

"This is total chaos."
'Hence the name "Chaos Vortex."'
Pit and Viridi conversed about the home of the vicious Chaos Kin they and the Dimensional Avengers are flying through. The Chaos Vortex. A bizarre dimension not governed by the physical laws of the real world, as one inch here is somehow a mile there. That mysterious tear in space they witnessed was truly a glimpse into another world, and their only means to retrieve Spider-Man's soul from the nightmare demon.
"Keep a lookout for Scarlet Spider's group. They are somewhere here, as well as Dark Sonic." ordered Lucina, with her and Weiss flying on their Sky-Cycles as always.
"Wonder what they did to tick him off so much." Sonic remarked, flying past several rocky distorted structures that resemble buildings with his Hover Shoes.
The answer Sonic receives is sudden and unexpected as everyone's view is flooded with realistic eyes. "Aaaaugh!" Heroes and Viridi screamed in horror until the eyes disappeared.
'…Ahem. Yes. Well. I wasn't expecting that.' Viridi commented after a moment of awkward lull.
Those eyes were just the beginning of the madness. A massive hand silhouette is quickly encountered by the startled heroes, causing Pit to go, "Augh! That was weird…", until another hand suddenly obstructs their view, "Whoa!", and then many more hands that force them to maneuver between them all at a frantic pace, "…Ugh! Augh! Hey! Nice to meet ya! Hey! Augh! Whoa!", right up to the spiraling dimension turning black and all of the heroes' colors being inverted.
"O…K…Think the Chaos Zone ran outta batteries." Sonic joked, noticing his inverted colors.
'This place doesn't run on batteries, dingle brain!' Viridi quipped. 'Anyway, it doesn't matter. You're going the right way.' She claimed. '…I think.' She then said unsurely.
"What do you mean you think?" Weiss glared.
'Don't worry your little head about it.' Viridi snarked.
With the goddess's guidance, a door-shaped opening comes into view up ahead. "Good—there's a way out." Pit noticed. Everyone heads through the opening and winds up in the Chaos Vortex again. However, this somehow turned their entire bodies to pitch black, much to the angel's frustrations, "Aw, man! This is my only tunic!"
'Don't be such a princess!' Viridi insulted.
"I find that insulting." Lucina snarked.
Along the way, the heroes fly toward a hot spring waterfall. "Aw yeah, it's a hot spri-Blublublublub!" Pit interrupted himself upon the group passing through it, resulting in their colors returning to normal.
"Hey, we got our color back." Weiss noticed happily.
"I also got water up my nose." snarked Pit, with the annoyed Sonic spitting out water.
Suddenly after that, a giant Monoeye flies in to obstruct their vision. "Get out of our way!" Sonic scowled upon striking out the demon, right before another one replaces him. "I SAID get out of our way!" He retorted while knocking away that monster as well and proceeding through the dimension.
'We're getting close to the Chaos Kin.' Viridi announced.
"OK." Pit responded.
'But watch out for lookalikes.' Viridi warned them.
"As if we didn't have enough clones in this adventure." Sonic shrugged, growing sick of clones.
A horde of Chaos Kin copes flutter into view, causing a disgusted Pit to go, "Ugh! There's a ton of them. Nasty!"
'Is the Chaos Kin replicating itself? They seem exactly the same.' Viridi commented.
"If that's true, we're in big trouble!" Weiss remarked.
"Take them out regardless!" Lucina ordered the team.
Clones they are, the Chaos Kin isn't surviving long against the Dimensional Avengers. Weiss and Lucina use their Sky-Cycles to fire lasers and missiles respectively to blow away the opposing creatures. Pit assists, raining down a special barrage of arrows that annihilate all but two copies, one in which Sonic rides like a flustered hoverboard until he crashes it into the remaining clone, knocking them both out at once.
"Ugh! Talk about annoying! Ugh!" Weiss scowls at a bunch of black symbols that slide across their view, swiftly fading away to make room for illusory copes of the heroes to take center stage. "Seriously? MORE clones?!" She exclaimed furiously, getting really sick of being cloned without permission.
'They seem to be your shadows.' Viridi clarified.
"What?! They don't look anything like us! First of all, I'm MUCH more attractive!" Pit quipped.
'Honestly, it's like you WANT me to insult you.' Viridi snarked.
"No! You just do it anyway!" Pit sassed back.
The Chaos Kin created these Shadow Avengers to possess all the abilities and weaponry of the originals. Too bad they lack their blessings and experience in battle, resulting in them just being cannon fodder, with Sonic taking out Shadow Weisses, Pit destroying Shadow Lucinas, Weiss eliminating Shadow Pits, and Lucina wiping out Shadow Sonics. As the team approaches a large, rocky structure, they spot a Chaos Kin coming into view. 'THAT Chaos Kin's the real deal! After it!' Viridi informed them.
"Right!" Pit complied.
The startled Chaos Kin spots its enemies coming and flies away, heading inside the structure to try and escape their pursuit. "Where do you think YOU'RE going?!" Sonic scowled fiercely.
'Throttling UP!' Viridi retorted.
Pushing themselves to greater speeds for Peter's sake, the heroes chase the creature through a cave filled with eyes. Sonic starts ricocheting all over the cave several times with his Spin Dash and rockets toward Chaos Kin, knocking it around and juggling it with kicks before a charged blast from Lucina knocks it away. Chaos Kin escapes into an eye, which fails to the intimidate the heroes as they too fly into it and through stormy skies.
"My face feels like its blowing off!" Pit complained at the intense speeds he's flying.
'Put on your big-boy pants and stay on the Chaos Kin!' Viridi snarked.
Pit keeps on firing relentless staff shots at the creature just as Weiss joins in, only for Chaos Kin to evade into another eye portal that leads to golden clouds. "Ungh! We've almost got it!" Weiss glowered.
'Not to rain on your parade, but we have to watch the clock!' Viridi reminded them of Pit's flight power running out.
"Just keep me in the air as long as you can!" Pit retorted.
Everyone heads through another eye portal, leading back to the Chaos Vortex where its ruler continues to stay ahead in the chase. 'You're running out of time!' Viridi urgently reminded the angel.
"But we've almost got it!" Pit exclaimed, pushing himself to the limit in his unyielding attacks.
Fortunately, the Chaos Kin accidently flies into a floating rock, leaving it dazed and vulnerable in the air. 'Now's your chance! Shoot shoot shoot!' Viridi urged them to finish it.
"It's going down!" Sonic declared, combining spectacular powers with his friends to deal the finishing blow.

'Chaos Kin down!' Viridi announced, as the demon falls to a large platform below.
"Now it's time to get Spider-Man's spirit back!" Pit expressed, joining his friends in pursuing the demon for land battle.
Chaos Island, Chaos Vortex.

As soon as the Goddess Avengers Alliance land, many enemies from different factions appear. From Underworlders to the Forces of Nature to Aurum to Masters of Evil to Dark Empire, the Chaos Kin has deployed them all in an effort to shake off his enemies. "Where's Spider-Man?" Pit immediately asked for his whereabouts upon landing.
'He's close by. But you'll have to finish off some enemies first.' Viridi informed.
"Our pleasure!" retorted Pit upon equipping himself with the Viridi Claws, leading the charge on the massive enemy horde with rapid dashing slashes that swiftly lead into an uppercut and a decimating X-shaped slash.
'These are all enemies that you've seen before, but never together like THIS.' Viridi said.
"It IS weird." Weiss commented, stabbing foes with her rapier.
"I have a hunch the Chaos Kin is creating them." Lucina remarked, deflecting attacks with her sword.
"Oh, man! Don't tell me there's an endless supply of them!" Sonic feared the worst, countering blows with greater faster strikes.
'No, I don't think that's possible. Even though these enemies are knock-offs, they're real enough to hurt you. So I'm sure they require quite a bit of energy to create. Which means this will be an endurance contest between you and the Chaos Kin.' Viridi clarified.
"Oh, don't you worry! We can outlast any evil moth!" proclaimed Pit, switching from Viridi Claws to Jetstream Orbitars so he may juggle the remaining monsters to their explosive demise.
First wave is complete. And after a little breather, the second wave of enemies appear. 'Here comes the second wave!' Viridi announced.
"And here comes my Sonic Wind!" Sonic quipped, wrapping lots of goons into oblivion with a powerful whirlwind.
Lucina is focused in shooting at Aurum Rezdas with her bow, ignoring their flawed shields and destroying their cores one by one until they were all taken out and narrowly before dodging a deathly charge from an Orne. If that demon gets to her, it's game over. Fortunately, she has Pit by his side equipped with his Sonic Cannon, using it to unleash an incredible burst that doesn't harm the Orne but does blast it far away from the island just as the second wave is finished.
'And here comes the third wave. This is getting old fast.' Viridi commented on the third wave.
"Those Aurum troops are doing their best Game and Watch impression." Pit noticed.
'Check out the gaming IQ on this guy! You're a regular video game historian! But enough nerdery for now. This place is crawling with Cacaws!' Viridi quipped.
"Ugh! Why did you create an enemy that annoying in the first place?" complained Weiss, after suffering a Cacaw's supersonic shriek that gave her disorienting brain damage.
'You can thank the Chaos Kin for this batch! Don't blame me!' Viridi snarked.

"THIS PLACE IS PISSING ME OFF!"
Out of nowhere comes a vortex of hellish purple flames that crash into the center of Chaos Island, triggering a massive explosion that vaporizes all enemies and nearly blows away all heroes that were caught off-guard by that familiar voice. Surprisingly yet unsurprisingly, the voice and flames belonged to Scarlet Spider, emerging from his menacing silhouette in the massive smokescreen. "Where is Dark Sonic? I'm going to settle things with him once and for all!" Scarlet Spider said with fiery anger.
"It's Scarlet!" Sonic recognized.
"He's Spider-Man's clone, right? So scary…And why does he have fire powers?" Pit remarked, frightened from his mere presence.
"Hm?" Kaine raises a curious eyebrow upon finally noticing the Dimensional Avengers, scowling, "Oh. It's you punks again."
"Glad to see you are safe. Where is Tiki and Dark Pit?" Lucina asked her old ally.
"I don't know. Those weird eye things separated us. I swear this place is weirder than hell." Scarlet replied in annoyance, "Where is Spider-Man?"
Lucina frowns, "I am certain you're not going to like this, but…"
"His soul was stolen by the Chaos Kin." Pit intervened.
"WHAT?!" Kaine snaps with instant rage just from hearing his brother is in trouble, prompting him to furiously grab the angel by his clothing and shouting at his face, "HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN?!"
"Easy!" Lucina retorted, trying to get him to stop scaring the young angel.
"D-D-D-DON'T WORRY, WE CAN STILL SAVE HIM BEFORE HIS SOUL IS EATEN!" The terrified Pit exclaimed.
"Why should I trust any of you to get the job done?! Dark Sonic exists because of your recklessness! You let him attack my city and conquer an entire world! How can you protect dimensions if you can't even protect your leader?! You KNOW Spider-Man can be careless!" Kaine infuriatedly berated the heroes for failing to uphold their duty.
"It wasn't that simple, Scarlet! We were trapped in a void!" Sonic argued.
"We were going to stop Dark Sonic as soon as we saved the goddess of light!" Weiss also argued against the spider-clone.
"So-called gods couldn't even save their own ass! They're too busy being selfish hypocritical murderers that are worse than the scum of humanity!" Kaine refuted.
'I resent that!' Viridi retorted.
"FUCK OFF!" Kaine snapped at the sudden voice in his head, which genuinely scares the nature goddess for the moment. "I'm going back to Houston after I find Tiki! You bastards can rot and clean up your own mess!" He proclaimed, tossing the angel aside and walking away from the contemplating heroes.
Unfortunately walking away won't be easy, as the Chaos Kin summons before the spider-clone the fourth wave of enemies. "I am NOT in the mood for this!" Kaine expressed coldly.
'It's the fourth wave! The Chaos Kin is as persistent as you being a mega jerk!' Viridi snarked.
BGM-Tekken 3 OST-Jin Kazama (Arcade Ver.)
Whilst standing back on his feet, Pit sincerely apologizes to the furious arachnid, "I am sorry about what happened to Spidey, Scarlet. I really am. You have every right to be angry at us. That's why we need your help to save him so we won't fail him again. Please, I'm begging you! Spidey is one of my best friends! He's family! I will never forgive myself if he dies!"
Kaine stands apathetically. He appears to not care about his little speech, as he only wants his heart to acknowledge his resolve. "Little brat …" He muttered calmly, respecting the angel just a little.
"Huh?"
He tightens his gloves, and his eyes glow with hellish flames. As he strikes his imposing fighting stance at the intimidating enemy horde before him, Scarlet coldly scoffs, "Let's get this over with. Might as well lose steam by going on a rampage. I'll show this Chaos bastard the true meaning of fear." He declared, deciding to stick around and assist the Avengers in saving their common friend.
At unseen speeds, Scarlet Spider appears in the middle of the terrified horde just to slam the ground with the raging force to cause an earthquake and send giant boulders flying to knock back his surrounding enemies. Mooks of various factions try their hand in killing the spider-clone, only for them all to be massacred with relative ease and in rapid succession. A flaming punch sends Nature Troops flying. A flurry of kicks destroys Underworlders. Aurum Soldiers are web-thrown onto Masters Soldiers. A Spartan is disarmed of their spear right before being backflip kicked by Kaine, who unleashes a midair web blossom that immobilizes a dozen more goons so they may be decimated by his savage breakdancing kick.
"Savage as always." Weiss commented on Kaine's fighting style.
"He's awesome!" Pit remarked in amazement of the spider-clone's destructive force.
'He's even stronger than Spider-Man! But he's just a clone!' Viridi acknowledged his fearsome power that surprises gods.
"You can thank mad science and him refusing to look up the word 'mercy' on a dictionary." Sonic quipped.
Two big Belunkas are barfing up little Armins that fail to intimidate the Ultimate Spider-Solider in the slightest as he rushes for the kill. Kaine stomps and pins down an Armin by its side so he may brutally rip off its faceplate and throw it at its brethren like a boomerang, then proceeds to web pull a Belunka to its uppercutting death before causing the other Belunka to explode by force-feeding it fireballs. "What a joke." He insulted his defeated enemies before the annoying fifth wave showed up, "More of them?"
'The fifth wave is here!' Viridi announced.
"Come on now! This is getting ridiculous!" Pit acknowledged how tiring this endurance battle is.
'Shoot that Pluton before it steals anything from you!' Viridi advised, and Lucina was a second away from complying when the goddess suddenly decides, 'No, wait! Don't shoot! Those Shootflies will react to your fire!'
"Which is it? Shoot or don't shoot?!" Lucina retorted urgently.
'Um... Melee! Melee like crazy! Melee till the cows come home!' Viridi recommended frantically.
"Fine with me." Scarlet pops out his spider-stingers, demolishing both the Pluton and Shootflies with a wild combo of spinning slashes that leads to a piercing strike.
'Wave six!' Viridi announced the next wave that consists of most of her troops, 'Wait, that's a Boom Stomper and some Bumpety Bombs! Those are MY troops too! Seeing these copies of my warriors turn my stomach!'
"Boom Stomper and Bumpety Bomb? You come up with those names yourself?" Scarlet snarked.
'Are you getting smart with me?' Viridi snapped with annoyance.
"Answer the question." Kaine retorted stoically.
'I DID come up with those names myself. Aren't they just the cutest?' Viridi answered adorably.
"Sure they are." Kaine replied sarcastically.
'Bumpety Bomb…Tee hee. Have you ever heard anything so adorable?' Viridi chuckled innocently.
Kaine ignores the goddess so he can be focused in destroying clones of her troops. Joining forces with Pit and his flurry of arrows, the spider-soldier punches out a massive fire blast that utterly overwhelms both the Boom Stompers and Bumpety Bombs to the point of being consumed by one huge explosion. Which leaves enough room for the seventh wave to make their irritating appearance.
'Wave seven!' Viridi announced.
"I've just about had it!" Sonic scowled, getting really sick of fighting wave after wave of enemies.

BGM-Tekken 3 OST-Ling Xiaoyu (Arcade Ver.)
As sudden as Scarlet's reappearance, enemies are being burned to death by the breath of a Divine Dragon hovering in the sky. She clears herself a landing spot to descend toward and transform into her human form, revealing herself as the smiling Tiki. "Tiki!" Lucina smiled with joy and relief from seeing her okay.
'A Divine Dragon. Never thought I'd meet one.' Viridi commented in awe, familiar with her otherworldly species.
"Was wondering where you were." Scarlet said to his dragon girlfriend.
"Worried?" Tiki teased him.
"No." Kaine lied stoically.
"I worried about you too." Tiki quipped through his lie. "I am aware of the situation between the Chaos Kin and Spider-Man. His lifeforce grows weak by the minute. We must hurry!" She proclaimed, determined to save the spider that reminds her so much of her dear Hero-King.
The beautiful yet deadly Tiki is confident in handling this wave herself, ignoring Monoliths and deflecting Quoils that ram at her with a smack of her dragon wing. Her main target is the Shildeen, destroying Quoils with a homing fireball barrage as swiftly as her spinning wings slicing through the kappa demon. 'And here comes the eighth wave.' Viridi announced, growing tired of this mission herself.
"It's just a few Underworld Komaytos." Pit noticed the jellyfish monsters.
"And another Orne." Lucina spotted the vengeful ghost that can't be killed by anything, except, "Tiki! No attack but your holy power should be enough to vanquish this demon!"
"I will try my best!" retorted Tiki, carefully evading the creepy demon until she finds her opening to transform her arm into a draconic mouth and shout, "Breath of the Divine Dragon!", to obliterate it with holy flames.
"Not bad." Scarlet complimented her power, receiving a smiling thumbs up from her.
"You know, Komaytos look an awful lot like little Metroids." Pit noticed while battling said creatures.
'No! Shhhh! Stop right there!' retorted Viridi, immediately wanting him to shut up for some reason.
"What's the matter?" All I said was that Komaytos look like little Metr-."
'Hmm hmm HMMMM hmm! I can't HEAR you!'
"Hey, what's your problem?"
'This universe and that universe have NOTHING to do with each other! So don't go around spreading rumors!'
"Hope everyone is not too tired. The ninth wave is coming up." sensed Tiki, just as the not-Metroids were eliminated.

The ninth wave of enemies wasn't the only thing that appears. Dark Pit suddenly flies down to lend the heroes a hand in the fight. "Looks like you could use a little help." He grinned at his lookalike upon arrival.
"Dark Pit!" Tiki smiled, glad to see him okay.
"I can do this myself. And why are you suddenly so interested in helping me anyway?" Pit retorted at his counterpart.
"While you were a ring? I was less than nothing. Unconscious. Un-MYSELF. We're connected. No you, no me. Two sides of the same coin." Dark Pit explained, much to his double's shock.
"That's crazy! So that's why you have to help me save Spider-Man!" Pit realized.
"Ok then. Let's take these enemies down!" Both Pits declared, charging headfirst at the ninth wave that is about to receive the worst beating of their lives.
The Dimensional Avengers and Team Scarlet. Two teams that were once on separate missions, now fighting together for a mutual goal. The Pits instantly prove themselves as an unstoppable duo, with the original slicing foes with his Palutena Bow and Dark smashing enemies with his Silver Bow. One enemy is smacked across the island by Pit just to be caught and brutally thrown at others by Pittoo. Swiftly, Dark sees and counters a descending foe with a rising Electroshock Arm uppercut, allowing Pit to send it flying with a lunging Upperdash Arm strike. Nothing can stop these angel twins as they fight side-by-side, coordinating their attacks immaculately without either spouting a single word.
'Team Baddy's putting up quite a fight. But with all of you working together, it's probably a cakewalk.' Viridi commented.
"That goes without saying." Dark Pit quipped.
"So the Chaos Kin is copying Aurum enemies that are copies of the Forces of Nature." Pit realized.
"It makes you think, doesn't it?" Tiki responded.
"Not really. It's just weird." Scarlet snarked.
After the ninth wave comes the tenth wave of enemies to be confronted by the heroes. 'You know what time it is? It's time for the TENTH WAVE!' Viridi announced.
"Let me at 'em!" retorted Scarlet, launching a Web Strike that allows him to slide whilst webbing an enemy horde in time for a devastating Web-Striking punch that sends them all flying to Tiki's large fireball.
'Defeat that Guttler first. Guttlers get more powerful the more they eat.' Viridi advised.
"Well, so do I." Pit responded, confronting the Guttler.
'They really don't have the most discriminating tastes. They'll eat anything.' Viridi commented.
"Well, so does Pit." Dark Pit teased, assisting his double in battling the Guttler.
"Hey! At least I don't eat my friends!" Pit claimed, right before the angels destroying the gluttonous monster.
'Here comes the eleventh wave!' Viridi announced just as they appeared, 'I can feel the Chaos Kin getting tired!'
"Just got to power through it!" said Lucina, unleashing swift sword strikes in conjunction with Scarlet's powerful web shots.
'Igniots can temporarily paralyze you if you get in their way. So try to avoid that.' Viridi advised everyone.
"That's it? No joke or snappy commentary?" remarked Pit, firing arrows alongside Tiki's flames.
"This is wave eleven! The time for jokes is over!" retorted Dark Pit, destroying Igniots alongside Sonic.
It is almost over, for after the eleventh wave of enemies comes the twelfth wave. 'Wave twelve! TWELVE! I think we're getting close to the end!' Viridi hoped.
"You keep saying that, but the enemies keep coming!" Pittoo snarked while fending off monsters that are surrounding the team.
"Bickering won't help us! If we want to defeat evil, we have to unite as good!" Pit advised.
'No, if we want to defeat evil, we have to unite against platitudes.' Viridi retorted.
"Or just use the Dream Stone." Weiss exchanges smiles with Sonic, prompting him to unleash the Dream Stone's power in the form of multiple Dreamy Captain Americas that throw their mighty shields at the remaining monsters.
"Wow! An Exo Stone that manifest dreams into reality! What an amazing find!" Tiki smiled in joyous admiration of their new Exo Stone.
"Couldn't have used that earlier?" Scarlet criticized the Avengers for holding back.
"Didn't think about it." Sonic grinned innocently, much to his annoyance.
"Ughhh…"
At long last, the 13th wave. The final wave of enemies before the Chaos Kin. 'We're at the 13th wave. I'm sure this is it!' Viridi claimed.
"Then it's time." Dark Pit said.
"Time for what?" The confused Pit responded.
"Our pre-boss-battle rallying cry!" Dark Pit announced.
"Oh, right. OK. Ahem." Pit clears his throat to ready himself for their epic confrontation with the last wave. "Filth of the land, hear our words!" Pit shouted dramatically.
"And see our actions!" Pittoo exclaimed intensely.
"I am Pit, servant of the goddess of light!" Pit expressed by spreading out his arms and wings.
"And I am Dark Pit, servant to no other but myself!" Dark Pit expressed by spinning his bow blades like an intimidating buzzsaw.
"TOGETHER WE WILL RAIN DEATH UPON YOU!" Both Pits posed side-by-side.
"So, anyone who wants to die, step right up!" taunted Pittoo, using a blade to signal his enemies to come closer.
"And anyone who doesn't want to die, too bad!" added Pit, flourishing his blades.
"AW YEAH!" The Pits ended their little speech with a twin point, confusing their enemies while their comrades are left mildly amused.
An unimpressed Kaine just scoffs, "That was pathetic."
'Did you stay up all night writing it? Or maybe it's your super-secret twin connection talking.' Viridi teased the twins, much to Pit's embarrassment and Pittoo's irritation.
Regardless, the teams are ready to finish this endurance mission. Everyone goes full speed in blitzing the massive horde as colorful blurs from all sides, each unleashing their unique attack that contribute to the awakened combo: Scarlet Spider with his webbing. Sonic with his Spindashing. Lucina with her dashing sword. Weiss with her ice. A flying Tiki raining down fireballs. And the Pits with their bows. It all leads up to their enemies being weakened for one devastating finisher, courtesy of Kaine's fiery large web blast and Pit's charged bow shot fusing into one marvelous blow that wipes all monsters off the face of Chaos Island.

Once all 13 waves have, finally, been dealt with, it is time for the boss to make its grand appearance. The Chaos Kin pops out of the ground, scurrying around while being confronted by the Dimensional Avengers and Team Scarlet. "Well, look who decided to show up." Dark Pit taunted the evil demon.
"It's game over, Chaos Kin!" Pit declared.
Sweating in fear, the Chaos Kin attempts to fly away. 'Here, let me help!' Viridi exclaimed, summoning a barrier around the arena that prevents the demon from escaping, 'There. That should make things easier for you guys.'
"Thanks, Viridi! You're always thinking!" Pit smiled gratefully.
However, just before the battle begins, there is one more warrior that wants in on the action. Another monster everyone forgot about until his voice echoes throughout the dimension, "So THIS is the Legendary Chaos Kin I've heard rumors about! To see this bug give you so much trouble is embarrassing! Haha, I love it!"
BGM-Mega Man ZX OST- Fate - Deep-Seated Grudge (Tunes Ver.)
Dark King Sonic makes his own grand reappearance by suddenly appearing beside the startled Chaos Kin, crossing his arrogant arms at his enemies that have been a pain in his butt for a long time now. "You…" Scarlet snarled threateningly at his hedgehog rival.
"Long time no see, Dark Sonic." Sonic confronted his evil clone with a smirk.
"That's Dark KING Sonic, you imbecile." Dark Sonic retorted.
"Ah! So now you're officially a royal pain?" Sonic quipped.
"It makes me the superior! Do you remember what you said to me three years ago?" Dark Sonic asked.
"No, because to me, you weren't born three years ago." Sonic snarked.
"You pointed out that, in the end, we're the same guy…That all it would take for either of us would be to lean a little in the other direction." Dark Sonic reminded him of their last battle.
"You were actually listening to me?" A shocked Sonic responded.
"I gotta admit it. You made sense. You got me thinking. You're the 'Hero of Mobius.' The single most powerful dude in your dimension that kept getting in my way. What does that make ME?" Dark questioned darkly, "So I conquered the angels' world and took out several gods just to make myself stronger. I'm not just your 'evil twin' anymore! I am the strongest hedgehog! I am your DESTINY!"
Yet casually, Sonic just shrugs, "Eh. Not interested.", after listening to his boring speech.
"Enough of this!" The impatient Scarlet intervened, "Are we going to fight at all or just make idle chit-chat all day?"
"That much in a rush to save the inferior Spider? You really are a disappointment! Your pal Poseidon couldn't even finish me off!" Dark Sonic mocked his fellow clone.
"Like I need the gods to beat you to a pulp!" Scarlet snapped, causing his X-Aura to violently flare up around him and nearly blowing away everyone but the unintimidated Dark Sonic.
"Great minds think alike. For I have gained a power that surpasses the gods." claimed Dark Sonic, revealing in his hand a familiar blue cosmic stone that amazes the Chaos Kin.
"What? The Chaos Stone?" Kaine retorted in shock.
'A Chaos Stone Prototype! But I thought we destroyed them all!' Viridi corrected him amidst her own horror, recognizing that artificial Exo Stone.
"All but one that I 'borrowed" from the Masters of Evil back when they invaded the planet." Dark Sonic revealed, "I spent the last three years improving on its design, using the Roxxon tech I stole to make it as advanced as Grimadoom's."
"Like that helped him save his butt!" Sonic boasted his victory over Ultimate Grimadoom.

"Only because he didn't hit the jackpot." Dark Sonic retorted vaguely.
"What?" Sonic reacted in confusion.
To better explain himself, Dark Sonic raises his CSP into the air and uses it to manipulate the entire Chaos Vortex. Energy streams are being pulled from the dimension and absorbed into the clone's very being as he laughs, "Thank you for leading me into this Chaos Vortex, heroes. Now you have no chance of beating me. With this CSP, this dimension is nothing more than a source of limitless energy! As long as this chaos exists, I AM INVINCIBLLLLLLE!"
BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Final Battle
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAARH!" Alongside his mighty roar, Dark Sonic unleashes a terrifyingly massive burst of flaming energy that shatters Viridi's barrier around Chaos Island. Heroes and Anti-Heroes ready themselves for their toughest fight yet as they bare witness to the conqueror's ultimate form. His fur has turned dark red with black stripes wrapping around his quills. His cape has turned black as well and his eyes are glowing blue now. And what is most distinct about his transformation is him gaining a mouth, one that is fanged and grinning like a true demon. This is Dark Super Sonic, the King of Chaos, "ALL HAIL THE KING, BABY!"
His chaotic power has become so intense that it affects the Chaos Vortex itself, transforming the whirling orange masses into a thunderstormy blue space that looks to be tearing itself apart with lightning bolts, much to everyone's shock but Scarlet's fury. "You miserable bastard!" X-Aura Scarlet Spider charges forward, unleashing a flurry of powerful blows that don't affect the invulnerable hedgehog. Then, Dark Super Sonic fires a laughing energy blast at Kaine, which sends him flying through multiple buildings until he crashes onto one and reverts back to his base state.
"SCARLEEEEEEET!" Tiki screamed out with distressed concern for his wellbeing.
"My darkness has finally surpassed the original's light!" Dark Super Sonic claimed with greater arrogance than before.

But just then, the super clone is blasted ineffectively by a surprise guest star. Grimadoom the Hedgehog has returned, having ventured into the Chaos Vortex himself for revenge on both the Dark King and Chaos Kin. "I've found you. Time to pay for your insolence back at Sparta." He announced with a threatening expression.
"YOU…!" Dark Super Sonic snarled with annoyance at his rival, "How long will I continue to be bothered by a battle-hungry puppet? There is but one strongest, and that is me."
Grimadoom grins sinisterly, "Is that so?", before assuming his fiery golden Binary Mode, "BRING IT ON THEN!", and rocketing at the clone hedgehog to engage him in an epic clash.
"Looks like I got here in the nick of time." The surprises keep on coming as New Goblin arrives next to greet the heroes.
"Harry? What are you doing here?" Weiss asked him, both shocked and curious of his current intentions after their most recent battle.
"I've come to help." Harry answered sincerely, "I know you can't forgive me after everything I've done, but please, at least let me help you save Spider-Man. He's running out of time."
"Why the hell should we trust an Osborn?!" Scarlet retorted upon regrouping with his friends, having good reason to mistrust any Goblin.
'I vouch for him, Kaine. Let him help.' Mary Jane telepathically communicates with him.
"Mary Jane?" Kaine retorted, surprised to hear her involved in this dimensional mess.
'Who let the normal human into my psychic chat?' Viridi snarked.
'Thank Palutena.' Nick Fury chimed in as well, 'Now zip it so we can lend support.'
'The gall of you to shut up a god!' Viridi retorted angrily.
'Listen up! Sonic, Scarlet, assist Grimadoom in taking out Dark Sonic! The rest of you, crush the Chaos Kin quickly! We'll bring in Spider-Man's body once his soul is freed!' Fury sternly ordered the heroes that are now confronting their chaotic enemies.
"Roger, sir!" Pit acknowledged.
"Goddamnit…!" Scarlet growled with a twitchy eye, reluctant to follow orders.
BGM-NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams OST-Theme of Tragedic Revenge
It is the final battle in the Chaos Vortex. A fearsome clash between Dream and Chaos. Binary Grimadoom roars himself toward Dark Super Sonic, who easily repels him with an energy blast and grins, "What a waste of time…", before noticing an illuminating cosmic energy heading his way. It is Sonic in his Dreamcaster Form, dragging along Scarlet Spider in his X-Aura State as both heroes combine powers to smash the evil hedgehog away.
"Never asked for your help." Binary Grimadoom bickered with his heroic rivals, with Scarlet standing on a floating structure.
"We didn't ask to be rescued." Dreamcaster Sonic quipped.
"I came here for my own reasons, not for you!"
"Uh-huh."
"Bicker later, you idiots!" X-Aura Scarlet angrily shuts them up.
Without warning, Dark Super Sonic launches a powerful combo of sword slashes with a demonic sword befitting his royal status. All three of his enemies dodge the attack with minor trouble before Sonic catches his attack with his bare hands. Scarlet quickly appears behind Dark and with a ferocious kick sends him crashing into a building that he webs him to, before Grimadoom attacks with a large blade made of energy. However, the heroes were surprised to learn he survived upon both Scarlet and Grima receiving shadowy Spin Dashes to their blindspots. The Sonics then trade Light Speed Attacks all across the dimension, ending in a quick stalemate that prompts Sonic into firing an energy beam that is empowered by Dreamy Friends consisting of Tails, Knuckles, and Amy at Dark Sonic, to which he counters with a much larger blast that eventually overpowers Sonic's.
As the smoke clears, Dark Sonic senses an ambush from Scarlet Spider and easily repels him with a backfist swing. "Hehe…It's pointless. You're the weakest one here." Dark insulted him.
"We'll see about that…" Scarlet retorted ominously. His X-Aura then consumes him into a cocoon-like shape before he bursts out of it as a menacing silhouette, having tapped into his Semblance to achieve his full-powered transformation. He Beasted Out into a Man-Spider form more terrifying than Spider-Man's, resembling a tarantula with a monstrous maw that is thirsty for Dark's blood.
"What?" Dark reacted in shock, having forgot Kaine is capable of this transformation.
"DIE!" Scarlet Tarantula roared, savagely lunging to grab Dark by his face so he may be slammed to the ground, dragged along the side of a cave wall, smashed through a building, before cratering him onto an island where both Sonic and Grimadoom await to blast him with a combined attack that quakes the Chaos Vortex itself.
'I set up an electro trap in the center of the field. It'll come in handy if you're having trouble keeping up with the Chaos Kin.' Viridi informed the warriors that are busy battling Chaos Kin.
"Just like I said. You're always thinking!" Pit praised her.
'Well, one of us has to.' Viridi quipped.
The Chaos Kin is a tedious one to fight, always darting across the battlefield at alarming speeds that makes it too difficult for any of the heroes' attacks to land a single hit. That is until Weiss reads its moves and freezes a portion of the battlefield that it was going to land on, causing it to trip and fall into a quick combo from the likes of Pit and Lucina. Enraged, the parasitic demon releases a poisonous gas that paralyzes all but Dragon Tiki and the glider-riding New Goblin, who are safe in the air and forced to watch their friends being blasted by eye lasers. Tiki uses her large wings to blow the gas away from her friends, allowing Goblin to shout, "You'll pay for what you've done, Chaos Kin!", and hurl pumpkin bombs that harm the demon.
"Eating souls is bad enough, but going after the souls of a hero and a goddess is just vile." Dark Pit scowled, striking the monster with furious slashes.
'Palutena resisted being consumed for over three years, just as Spider-Man endured the worst attacks from us gods for this entire adventure. I have to hand it to them—that takes a certain strength of will.' Viridi complimented, gaining a grudging respect for her hated enemies.
'Palutena was waiting for you guys to return just as Spider-Man is waiting to be rescued. I'm sure he's using every last ounce of his strength to resist.' MJ said gloomily.
"They have suffered so much…" Pit remarked somberly.
"There's no point dwelling on this now. We need to take down the Chaos Kin." Dark Pit retorted, wanting him to continue focusing on the fight.
"You're right!" Pit complied resolutely.
"Knock it up into the air and I'll do the rest!" Harry commanded.
With Pittoo and Weiss providing cover fire, Pit uses his Upperdash Arm to send the demon upward for Goblin to assault with his Ionic Sword before slamming it into the Electro Trap, preventing it from escaping battle. "GIVE IT EVERYTHING YOU GOT!" Harry shouted, prompting his group to unleash a full frontal assault on the imprisoned demon. Right before it is freed by Dreamcaster Sonic crashing into its prison.

'DARN IT, SONIC!' Viridi berated him.
"Which one?" Sonic quipped before staring at his clone hovering above them all.
"C'mon, hedgehog, AT LEAST MAKE A FIGHT OUT OF IT!" taunted Dark Super Sonic, unleashing a massive amount of energy blasts that devastates all but the Chaos Kin on Chaos Island.
BGM-One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 OST-I Will Surpass You!
Suddenly, the Dark King is frozen in time by Binary Grimadoom's Chaos Control and assaulted by his countless Spin Dashes. Right before Scarlet Tarantula slams him out of time and stomps him onto Chaos Island. Growing weaker and angrier, Dark repels the mutated spider to stand alongside Chaos Kin as they both glare at Sonic smirking, "Bet I could sue you for copyright infringement and win.", and goading them into being consumed by the heroes' all-out finisher.
"KEEP UP THE PRESSURE!" Pit commanded.
New Goblin flies at his foes at full speed, tossing bombs like there is no tomorrow to push them into the position of being struck by Dragon Tiki's Remote Breath. "LET'S GO!" Scarlet Tarantula roared, dashing alongside Weiss to pummel the chaos masters with an amazingly fast combo empowered by glyphs. Their enemies grow weaker as they are knocked into the fearsome sights of Lucina and Binary Grimadoom, both unleashing a powerful uppercut that sends their mutual foes flying high to the sky for their remaining three allies to finish off.
"Super…" Dreamcaster Sonic said, surrounding himself in a large energy sphere.
"Final…!" Pit remarked, charging his arrow to maximum power.
"SMASH!" Dark Pit exclaimed, maximizing his Dark Pit Staff to its greatest potential.
All three Smashers unleash their ultimate combo straight at the sky, with Sonic absorbing the Pits' attacks that immensely empowers his Boost. Dark Super Sonic retaliates with his own infuriated, full-powered Boost that is unintentionally empowered by Chaos Kin's eye beam. A final clash between the Sonics that will determine once and for all which is stronger: Light or darkness. Both hedgehogs are ramming into each other with their everything, and with neither gaining an edge. Quickly though, Sonic is slowly pushing back his clone. And much to his own surprise, the clone can't find the power within to stop this. "GRRRRRWWAAAAAARRRR!" With one final roaring push, Sonic finally overpowers his lookalike, ramming both him and the terrified Chaos Kin into a massive building that explodes in a titanic blaze of victorious glory for the heroes.

"Now THAT was a rain of death." Pit boasted.
"Aw, yeah!" Dark Pit agreed victoriously.
BGM-Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix OST-Dearly Beloved
Both Chaos Kin and a depowered Dark Sonic fall back onto Chaos Island in total and humiliating defeat. The Chaos Kin bursts apart, leaving nothing but its ashes and remains behind. And Dark Sonic, he just struggles to stand on his foot while being confronted by his counterpart in his normal form. "You lost again, Dark. You won't be terrorizing any more worlds anymore." Sonic told him solemnly.
"Cheated me…with your worthless friends…I'm…king…Conquered…an entire planet…You're…nothing…" panted Dark Sonic, still having the energy to mock his lookalike.
Finally fed up with his attitude, Sonic slaps off his crown and grabs him by his shocked fur to furiously retort to his face, "You're a BULLY, and that's it. You take the easy, nasty way out and get the quick reward. Big whoop." He then throws him to the ground, "I do things the RIGHT WAY. I help others to make something bigger and better than just mean. The good guys ALWAYS win in the long run.", before pointing him at his smirking self stating, "And there isn't anybody who can run longer or better than I can."
'Now THAT'S a speech!' Viridi praised him.
Begrudgingly accepting defeat, Dark Sonic wonders, "Even though we're the same hedgehog, why…In the end, no matter how hard I try my darkness will never be superior, huh."
"Bullshit!" Scarlet Spider retorted in his human form. "This has nothing to do with light or darkness. If you're feeling frustrated, then just get stronger…for the sake of your existence." He advised his fellow clone with a solemn tone, in which Dark Sonic acknowledges with just pondering silence.

A teleporter door appears on the island, opening for Palutena, Fury, and MJ to walk out of with the petrified Spider-Man. "Here we go…" said Palutena, setting down the soulless stone that attracts its soul.
Spider-Man's soul then floats back into his petrified body and restores him to his normal self, with the revived hero gasping, "Ugh…Man…I am…really getting sick of being nearly killed by every god and monster in this damn dimension…!"
"SPI-SPI!" exclaimed Tiki, with both her and Pit tackle-hugging their restored friend in relieved joy.
"We're so relieved you're OK!" Pit expressed.
"H-Hey! Nice to see you guys too!" Peter responded with a heartwarming smile, though he is a little confused on where he is and how the likes of Tiki and Scarlet are here.
"Pete." Harry approached him solemnly.
"Harry? You…helped save me?" Peter reacted, shocked that his former enemy came to his rescue.
"It was the least I could do." Harry replied, before admitting with his true, sincere heart, "I…I realized you Spider-Men…didn't mean to hurt the Osborn family. The darkness that consumed my father almost finished me too…But you never turned away from me. Even after everything I did, I had to…"
"Harry!" Peter exclaimed just to silence him, "It's okay. There's plenty of blame to go around, on both sides. I know you're not my Harry…but it's good to have you back."
Harry gives out a smiling scoff, "Same here, pal.", before sharing a friendly fist bump with the counterpart of his best friend.
"Here." MJ hands her ex-boyfriend his mask that he left behind after his final battle with Harry.
"Thanks." Peter smiled whilst putting on his mask.
A depowered Grimadoom scoffs as he watches the three, then goes to walk away until he is intercepted by Super-Skrull and the Enchantress. "You're late." He casually greeted them.
"We nearly drowned!" Enchantress retorted, clearly not happy with him leaving them to die during the Battle of Sparta.
"Doesn't excuse your tardiness." Grimadoom snarked.
"Unbelievable…" Super-Skrull mumbled in annoyance.
"Amora." Palutena snarled at her Asgardian rival.
"Oh it's you. I see you gotten over your little Chaos Kin phase." Enchantress mocked.
"No thanks to you! You put me in that position!" Palutena bickered.
"You would've been possessed with or without us." Amora snarked.
BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Despicable Conspiracy
The time for pointless banter is over. A new and important topic has entered the minds of heroes and villains alike as a strange black glow suddenly grabs their attention. "What is that?" Dark Pit questioned curiously.
That glow belongs to a mysterious black Stone that looks cosmic in nature and is manifesting above their bewildered heads. "That's…an Exo Stone!" Spider-Man realized that is the 6th Exo Stone.
"There was one here?" Pittoo retorted in shock.
"So that moon butler was telling the truth. Defeating the Chaos Kin in its own dimension rewards you the Nightmare Stone." Grimadoom revealed to his enemies.
"The Nightmare Stone?" Spidey noted.
'Wait wait! You said "moon butler"! Are you talking about Arlon?' Viridi retorted at his suspicious claims, 'Arlon doesn't know anything about the Exo Stones! Even if he did, he wouldn't reveal their secrets to the enemy, and especially without telling ME about them first!'
Growing suspicious himself, Grimadoom ponders, "If that's true, then the one I spoke to was an imposter. So then…Who and why would share their secrets with me?"

A horrific thought then crossed Palutena's mind. She knows. To her own terrifying disbelief, she knows the truth. About the Arlon imposter. About the Chaos Kin. About the Nightmare Stone. About them all being manipulated. She realized there is only one trickster god capable of pulling off such a feat that causes her to shout, "OH NO!"

It was too late. The Masters of Evil. The Dimensional Avengers and their allies. Both parties are suddenly entrapped in their own ice cage strong enough to resist Scarlet Spider's punches. None of them will be breaking out anytime soon, and by the time they do, it would be too late. For the Nightmare Stone has found its new home in the palm of the God of Mischief. In the hands of Loki emerging from the shadows.
"Loki!" Palutena exclaimed, glaringly at the true threat to them all.
"With the Stone!" Grimadoom noticed angrily, "When did you-?"
Loki maniacally laughs, "I've claimed it at last! Control over all beyond the Nine Realms!"
"You set me up! You've been manipulating everyone from the beginning!" Grimadoom realized, much to his own growing rage.
From a smirking scoff, Loki reveals to all that have gathered for this special occasion, "Avengers. Masters of Evil. Gods of Skyworld and Nature. I've waited for this. The moment when you all gathered to defeat the Chaos Kin that depleted your power." He then announces with sinister arrogance, "LISTEN WELL! From here on out, the age of King Loki shall begin!", before raising his new Exo Stone to the sky, "Resonate with your sibling. The time has come for dream and nightmare to collide!"

The Nightmare Stone begins glowing. And it's not alone. For the Dream Stone in Sonic's possession starts glowing as well. "Not good!" He realized horrifically.
"Together, we shall fulfill the prophecy of the Divine Shadow and change everything into my UTOPIA!" Loki declared malevolently.
The golden light of the Dream Stone and the black darkness of the Nightmare Stone, both merge together to form a massive bright light that shoots straight up into the chaotic sky. Their collided powers unleash a cosmic force that transcends the Chaos Vortex, briefly illuminating the universes of Spider-Man and Pit to signal them of their end.
"What just…" Pit is left speechless, unsure how to react to all of this.
"A dimensional distortion unlike anything before." Spidey stated sternly.
"Exactly what are you planning?" Fury questioned the trickster god.

"I am here to conquer the mortals of all worlds…as well as overthrow the gods!" Loki expressed, clenching his grinning hand as he continues, "An era of endless fear…to create the most powerful realm in all creation! The Exo Eight shall be mine! All universes will forever bow to their glorious king!"
"We won't let you do such a thing!" Spidey retorted, determined to foil Loki's master plan.
"I so look forward to seeing your faces contorted with fear and despair." Loki threatened maliciously.
"Right back at ya!" With a furious burst of his impressive power, Grimadoom returns to his Binary Form and shatters the ice that entrapped all parties that were manipulated by Loki's trickery. The Masters of Evil attack first, with Grimadoom going for a dashing punch and his teammates launching a powerful energy barrage, only for Loki to dodge their combo in a mysterious fashion, much to the villains' surprise. 'How did he dodge that? Was that an illusion? It felt different from his usual tricks.' Grimadoom thought.
With the Nightmare Stone, Loki envelops himself in a cosmic black aura whilst forming several energy spheres that he launches at the Masters. When they get close to them it traps them within them, then with an intimidating gesture, Loki causes them to shrink one by one until they implode disastrously.
"No way…Even Grimadoom…" Spidey reacted with sheer surprise in his eyes to have bare witness to the Masters of Evil's effortless defeat.
"I went easy on them. I simply sent them off into a singularity where they won't bother me again." Loki revealed to have shown the Masters some mercy, "You, I'm afraid, won't receive the same treatment."
Loki prepares to dispose of the heroes once and for all with his Nightmare Stone. All of them are still weak from battle and the gods won't be able to extract everyone in time. This looks to be the end, only for Loki to be hit by a blast from a surprise savior. "Don't underestimate us mortals." laughed Dark Sonic, taunting his former master after saving the Avengers.
"DAMN YOU AND YOUR CURSED INSOLENCE!" Loki fires a furious blast in retaliation, which vaporizes Dark Sonic as he dies with a smiling expression.
"DAAAAAARK!" Sonic yelled in great distress over his clone's demise.
An enraged Dark Pit assaults Loki while he's distracted. However, the ashes of the Chaos Kin gain sentience and suddenly rush over to the angel and wrap itself around him, much to the shocked god's amusement, "Oh. It would be rude of me to deny the Chaos Kin's revenge. I'll leave this matter to yourselves. I much rather save my strength for the conquest of Asgard!" He announced, teleporting himself out of the Chaos Vortex before the dark angel flies off the edge.
"Oh, no! Pittoo!" Pit watched in horror before running off the edge after him.
"NO! It's too dangerous!" Spidey shouted, reaching out in vain whilst fearing for the angel's life.

"Viridi! I need to fly!" Pit ordered.
'You already used the power of flight! Don't you remember? If I enable it again now, your wings will catch fire!' Viridi reminded him.
"The Chaos Kin is going to destroy Pittoo! Can't you see what's at stake here? I don't care if my wings catch fire!" Pit argued.
'No way! Just forget about it! I'm pulling you out! Leave this to Goblin or Tiki!' Viridi retorted.
"No! Stop! They're too injured! If we don't help him right now, we won't have another chance! I'm begging you, Viridi! Let me fly! Now!" Pit begged her to help.
With a reluctant growl, Viridi decides, 'Fine! But whatever happens to you isn't my fault!'
Now given the power of flight, Pit's wings immediately burn as he screams, "Gnrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!", in incredible agony.
'Hang in there, Pit! Be strong!' Viridi cheered for him.
"Help…me…" Dark Pit weakly begged for a rescue.
Pit has but one shot. He must align himself correctly with Pittoo if he wants to save him. Should he fail, they both fall to their demise. It is a distressful task that isn't helped at all by his wings that are burning through the feathers and reaching his flesh. Despite all that overwhelmingly, agonizing pressure, Pit just barely aligns himself in the air and grabs onto his lookalike.
'I'm getting you out of there!' Viridi whisks them back to safety, leaving the two angels collapsed on the ground. Their friends hurry to check on them, with Kaine and Tiki paying Pittoo a visit and are relieved to see him okay.
Pit, however. "How's Pit?" Dark Pit asked upon tiredly lifting his head.
The horrified looks of the Dimensional Avengers says it all. 'Pit's…Pit's in bad shape.' Viridi sadly said from them all looking at his burnt wings, 'He can't fly. He's barely breathing.'
"No…" MJ frowned sorrowfully, going to Harry for a comforting hug as all friends of Pit grieve from his critical condition.
Palutena then walks over to Pit's side, with Viridi asking, 'Palutena? What are you doing?' The Goddess of Light kneels down to lift his unconscious body into her sad arms. As she stares at his burnt wings, she reminisces a few things about him.
'My wish would be to fly by myself!'
'We'll return to Skyworld VICTORIOUS!'
"Oh, Pit…" Palutena muttered, sadly looking up at the sky while grieving over her best friend.
Spider-Man, however, is too busy being furious to be sad. He lost the Nightmare Stone. Loki is out there about to conquer two universes. And worst of all, Pit is at death's door. His friend. His protégé. And he feels completely responsible for everything that just transpired. It is just too much to hold in any longer. So he lets it all out. Putting all his rage into one mighty yell at the heavens, "LOOOKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!"

KFX Here: That wraps up the Chaos Kin Arc. Finally time to end this story with its final arc, the Loki Arc! The Nine Realms and beyond are in grave danger, and the gods alone won't be able to save them! Expect a lot more Asgardian action than in the original story!
