Hi guys I'm back sorry for the late update I thought no one was going to even see it but it warmed my heart so I'm continuing this series and as requested working on Robby's and Hawk's too! But for now enjoy
Season 2
Miguel was chuffed. For once he was a winner (not counting when he had the highest score on his test out of the whole class) and he couldn't enjoy it. He wasn't enjoying it. Even though he basically flipped Sam off at the tournament he felt completely disheartened when he realized she didn't see his victory. His friends tried to cheer him up but right now Miguel just didn't feel... right. He tried to contact her but she blocked him anyway he could contact her. He wasn't even sure what he was going to say when he got time to talk to her. He wanted to air things out? To apologize and be friends? To beg her to date him again? Miguel was confused. Sam was making Miguel very confused. Mad, guilty, sad and at the same time Miguel still liked her. It only got weirder when his sensei punished him and Hawk for being "dirty". Miguel couldn't believe it. His sensei was the one that told him to exploit weaknesses. He suspected it had something to do with Robby Keene. Sensei was fine with Miguel attacking anyone else except Robby Keene. When he asked this to his sensei he told him that he wanted him to know the difference between mercy and honor and how he paid the price for not knowing it. His sensei wanted Miguel to be better than him. Miguel was now delighted to hear this. His sensei believed that Miguel could be better than him. And we'll, Miguel wasn't about to disappoint him
Hanging out with his sensei is pretty cool. Black clothes, cool car and like his sensei would say, hot babes staring at them. But there was still that nagging sensation that reminded him of Sam, no matter how hard he tried to forget. In the end, he used trickery to talk to Sam. He called through his classmate Aisha's phone and got to talk to her. She was as stubborn as ever. Miguel practically begged but in the end Sam pulled out some lame excuse and ended the call. At least Miguel tried. And at the dojo some weird old guy came in. He looked like he couldn't have been in the army, even though he was in his 70's. He had a stone cold expression that seemed to judge everyone. And apparently sensei knew him because he didn't seem surprised he was here. In class sensei said he was just an observer and to ignore him, but something told Miguel he was more than that. And when sensei caught them messing around, he went all strict on us saying to show up at 5:00AM to some backwater place and dismissed them. Obviously, sensei cared about what the observer" thought. When Miguel and everyone else arrived, Miguel knew something was off. Some random guy was talking to sensei nervously, and left in a hurry leaving his cement truck. Miguel didn't know what his sensei was planning but it wasn't anything good. His theory was proven right, when his sensei told them to get inside the drum and make it spin. Miguel knew this was too much and the danger too great but when he said so it was the "observer" that spoke up. Saying how sensei lead them to the mountaintop, won the All Valley and how he was the strongest student in Cobra Kai. How sensei was his student. His sensei's sensei, Miguel thought, that's why sensei is tense. Miguel also thought, no, knew that he was right. That he was my sensei and it was all thanks to him them winning the All Valley. Miguel was the first to climb up. Miguel was pretty scared when he jumped in. For a moment he thought that no one else would follow but thankfully Hawk and others came in too. Ever wonder how is it inside the drum in the cement truck? Miguel unfortunately can speak from experience. It reeked of bad odor at a point it hurt to breathe. The smell was intoxicating and the cement felt cold against his skin and pretty toxic too. Trust Miguel, being inside there should not be in your top ten of your bucket list. It was like being in a tunnel greased with cement in the walls and a huge puddle of cement in the bottom. With all he could, Miguel and the others started to spin it. At first it was hard, the cement was greasy and they couldn't keep a firm hold on the wall without slipping but after a while it started to spin and then it was cake spinning with the momentum. After they got out, Miguel felt proud of himself and by the looks of it, his sensei was proud of him too. But when he went to his house to give him some leftovers using his spare key, Miguel found out. The relationship between Robby Keene and sensei Lawrence. They were father and son.
Miguel was disappointed that his sensei didn't tell him that Robby Keene was his son. So he was sulking a bit in the beach and he told Hawk about it. Hawk got mad and said how it was no mercy, unless it was his son but Miguel just felt weird. I mean he suspected that Robby and sensei had a relationship but not one as close as father-son. And with all the new Miyagi-Do dojo and the commercial and stuff Miguel knew he had to ask sensei. So he did, with Hawk. They got punishment for mentioning it and sensei avoided it, but Miguel was just sad because why couldn't his sensei had told him about it? But he decided against saying it and he just left. Later in the day his sensei asked if he wanted to hang out. It was late but Miguel accepted. His sensei was acting weird, stating random facts about the food they were eating. And then his sensei did something that surprised Miguel, he started talking about Robby. How he was born and he wasn't there. How he regrets being a terrible father. How he wants to make up with him and look out for him. He promised to look out for Miguel and have his best interests at heart. Miguel was happy beyond words to have such a bond with his sensei but he settled in with a simple thank you. Then they went to Valley fest with a performance that made everyone forget about the Miyagi-Do demo. Everything was perfect
Miguel definitely knew something was off about John Kreese, the observer and his sensei's sensei. He kept telling stories about the war but once he caught him confusing countries. He suspected that he was lying but he just didn't know why. Attention? To intimidate? Miguel didn't know. And before he could figure it out his sensei was asking the new recruits who wanted to fight against the champ. A pretty girl with blonde curls stepped up. She seemed pretty rebellious, challenging sensei asking if they actually knew how to fight.Miguel was going to go easy on her but a pretty good kick told him that she kicked ass, so he decided to get serious. After sparring he found out her name was Tory, with a y. She seemed pretty cool and easygoing. After a talk with Hawk, Miguel found out that Kreese had hit Demetri. Demetri was one of Miguel's friend. He wasn't about to let Kreese get away with that but when he told his sensei he said that everybody deserves a second chance and that Miguel shouldn't worry, so Miguel let it go. But the next day, his sensei let Kreese get control of the lesson. Miguel was pretty sure this wasn't a good idea, but his sensei once again told him not to worry about it. So he tried not to, and shove down the feeling that told him Kreese shouldn't be trusted
Miguel listened to the lessons his sensei taught him very closely and he used them. So when sensei said to make a move and go all in Miguel obliged and started creating a video to get Sam back. He was desperate. His friends tried to get him off the computer and enjoy but they couldn't. When Miguel finished was when Tory tried to convince him. So Miguel showed her the video. It was pretty sweet, or at least Miguel thought so. Tory took one look at it and said that he should delete that and set his laptop on fire. It made him look desperate she said, but honestly, Miguel was desperate. To take his mind off it, he accepted Tory's proposal to go to some go somewhere else to have fun. Miguel was pretty surprised when they went to some park but he didn't complain. Miguel had fun, a lot of fun. Tory was pretty creative and believe it or not, created some actually fun games, considering they were in a probably abandoned park. But then Miguel made the mistake of mentioning Sam. Immediately Tory's expression hardened and she got a bit irritated so Miguel apologized saying that he just couldn't figure out the meaning of making a move and go all in and it was true, he didn't know and it confused him. But Tory responded saying that it meant exactly what it meant, make a move. And Miguel realized she was right. So he made a move and went all in. And kissing Tory felt pretty amazing.
Apparently someone had trashed Miyagi-Do. Miguel didn't know who it was but sensei punished everyone with constant push-ups. It was super intense and each break felt like an All Valley win. Then sensei just left and Kreese was the one in charge. Miguel knew he was going to make the punishment harsher. Miguel knew he wasn't going to let up so they needed to figure out who did it. Morale was low and with the fatigue was high and getting to people's heads. Eventually everyone was going to be at each other throats, but before that happened, Kreese spoke up. That the one who did it was each and every one of the kids in Cobra Kai, even Miguel who had nothing to do with it. Kreese said that they were going to start the real training now. He set up sparring matches, the first match being Tory vs Mitch. When Tory landed a point Miguel thought that was it but Kreese told Tory to hit Mitch again. Tory was staring in disbelief and Miguel knew this wasn't right. He spoke up, saying how there was no honor in being merciless, and how Tory scored a point and that was it. But Kreese contradicted him. Saying how sensei Lawrence was right but that this only applied to a tournament, and that in real life there were no points, only a winner or a loser. Unbelievably, Miguel couldn't find a response at that. He was right. But it felt wrong. After the lesson he talked to Tory, said how it all felt wrong and that life wasn't about only winning. But Tory said something personal, about how her mom worked at a restaurant, how she brought leftovers so Tory and her brother could eat, and how the manager fired her with no warning. The world shows no mercy so why should we, others have it good but we have to fight for every inch that's ours she said. And maybe she was right. Miguel felt honored that she confided in him something that personal but he didn't take pity on her. She wouldn't accept it. Miguel was also surprised. He always thought that she was pretty easygoing and spontaneous. Miguel knew he needed to be there for his girlfriend. Later on, Miguel apologized to sensei Kreese his disrespect, challenging him on the lesson. He had a different point of view thanks to Tory and he knew that sensei Kreese was right. Sensei Kreese told him that sensei Lawrence's heart was in the right place, but he was mixed up. How they, we're going to make sure he gets back on track. Miguel believed him. He knew he was right. They were going to get sensei Lawrence on track. Because Miguel was Cobra Kai for life, because Cobra Kai never dies
Miguel found out that one of sensei Lawrence's friends died. He felt sorry for him but when he tried to talk about it to his sensei he dodged the conversation. Miguel didn't insist on it, it must be tough for him. There was special training and both senseis were arguing over it, apparently they weren't ready or something. Miguel took that as a challenge. They decided to go and they split up in two teams. Red headbands and black headbands. Miguel was black headbands with Tory and Hawk and Aisha were red headbands. Nothing like a friendly competition. The goal was to rip off the opponents headband by all means possible. When they separated Miguel and Tory decided to stay together because they were stronger. Not for any other reason. And it was pretty easy at first, there were a lot of lone wolfs, kids that just wandered there alone and Miguel and Tory played with them. Unfortunately there were a lot of hiding places in the forest. That's how some coward got Tory's headband. Grabbing it from behind. At least Tory was avenged. But later on, he saw Hawk grabbing the headband off someone and showing a Medal of Honor. The same Medal of Honor the one that trashed Miyagi-Do had taken as a spoil. Miguel was furious, but at the same time a feeling of satisfaction arose at the thought of Miguel and Hawk being the last ones. Miguel confronted him and Hawk didn't even try to hide it, Miguel knew he had to take it by force. Hawk tried to kick him, he dodged and blocked. He satrted kicking too without luck and got into practically a wrestling match with Hawk. A crowd had gathered by then. Miguel's punches started to connect and grabbing his leg and shoulder he had Hawk on the floor. Took out his headband and the Medal of Honor. Hawk looked at Miguel with a murderous look but Miguel ignored it. Finish him off, said sensei Kreese. Miguel did exactly that, and with a powerful sweep to the face, Hawk was finished. For a moment Miguel thought he won but some coward that was hidden named Stingray who was probably in his forties and lived with his mom grabbed him from behind and took his headband off, claiming victory. Miguel was mad but at least he had the Medal of Honor. But sensei Lawrence asked him what was that. Miguel said that's what sensei Kreese taught them and that this was real life. He got an answer he didn't expect. Is that how you wanna live your life? Honestly, Miguel was struck with confusion once again. But one thing he was clear on, he wasn't an asshole. So he went to give the medal back. Not to earn any points with Sam, he didn't care about that anymore, although he did want to make up with her, air things out, he didn't want her anymore. While he expected Sam or his dad at the door surprisingly it was Robby Keene who answered he tried to explain everything and gave the medal back. He suspected that Robby and Sam were together but for once, Miguel didn't feel jealous
Miguel felt comfortable with Tory. She was always able to cheer him up and they would always playfully squabble. It was really fun to be around her. Miguel was planning a date with her when Hawk entered. Miguel stood up and apologized to him. He felt really guilty Luckily he accepted it. In the lesson, sensei Kreese was missing. When we asked sensei Lawrence he told us that Kreese won't be coming. That he didn't have their best interests at heart. That he refused to move forward. Miguel was very confused. First he's suspicious of sensei Kreese, then when he trusts him, sensei Lawrence just fires him? But sensei Lawrence wasn't finished. He pointed at the wall were there the sentences of strike first strike hard no mercy. He said that follow it by the letter, it will make you strong, but also an asshole. To not think with your guts or your fists, but with your head. That was the first lesson they got about head butting. In the middle of the lesson Miguel left to check on sensei, since Kreese was his sensei after all. But he told him not to worry he was fine and to focus on his girlfriend. Miguel was blushing like mad and asked if it was that obvious. Which lead to Miguel asking if he had anyone. And when he said no he suggested to use the same app his mom used to get a boyfriend. Miguel knew this was going to be fun. Miguel was wrong. Very wrong. Sensei wasn't being cooperative with the app. When Miguel kept asking what were your likes he said movies and cavemen commercial for some reason. Miguel decided to fill it out on his own. He looked in sensei's closet to see if he had anything that could be remotely worn to a date when he passed through a really cool red jacket that would be perfect for his date with Tory in the 80's night. Later on, Miguel went to the roller rink with Tory, unfortunately Tory's breaks never arrived. Miguel was pretty bored without her so one time when he asked when did she have a break he turned around to look at the people she was serving and got face to face with Sam and Robby. Miguel knew this was going to be rough. Especially when apparently Tory and Sam had already met. Somewhere inside Miguel was glad they bumped into them. He wanted to air things out, no hard feelings. But it was clear there was tension between Sam and Tory. When Tory was about to leave she kissed Miguel and even though Miguel knew it was just to spite Sam, he still accepted the kiss. Sam and Robby knew already that this was going to be a rough night. Miguel later on had a chance to talk with Sam. She was as stubborn as ever when he just wanted to air things out. But she started saying how she couldn't believe Miguel would be with someone like Tory and Miguel now just felt pretty mad. She didn't even know her. He told her he should be the one that's mad making him think he was a paranoid asshole and now she was on a date with Robby? And even when she said it was not a date, they both knew it wasn't true. Miguel had heard that one already. But the night wasn't over. When he went to check on Tory he saw Sam kick her from behind. And by now Miguel had enough. He dissed Sam and picked up Tory. He was so done
Miguel and the Cobra Kais went to a party hosted by one of his classmates. Miguel really wanted to have fun. That was a lost cause. Because the Miyagi-Dos were also invited to the party. The tension in the air was clear but Miguel tried to ignore it and have fun. And at first it was fun with Tory but Sam had to show up and accept her challenge. Tory and Sam looked ready to kill each other. And when Sam won that game Tory was in an even worse mood. She went to the bathroom to clean up and Miguel's mood was already ruined. The party was too much and Miguel went to get some air by the pool and found Sam. She looked pretty bad and drunk. Miguel asked if everything was okay. But of course she had to sassily respond I'm fine. Miguel was about to leave mad when Sam stopped him. She apologized. She said she didn't know that Miguel returned the Medal of Honor and that it was very important to her family and to her so thank you. Miguel felt flattered but he said that it shouldn't have gotten stolen in the first place and it was true. Miguel suddenly felt an impulse to lean in and kiss her and by the looks of it, Sam did too. Miguel started leaning in, his whole body on automatic. Sam leaned in too and they kissed and it felt good. Too good. Miguel pulled away, his guilty conscience registering. He couldn't believe he had done that to Tory. Sam ran off and Miguel started looking for Tory. The cops came and it got messy, harder to find Tory. In the end Miguel gave up and went home. He tried to sleep but that nagging feeling still haunted him. The last thing he thought of was him and Sam kissing when he lost consciousness.
The next day was the first day of school. The feeling where summer feels eternal went away and now it was like, dude I have school today? Miguel texted Tory and tried to call her but it went to voicemail. Miguel was very worried by now. He wondered what if something happened? Did the cops get her? He was also anxious about the kiss. Would he tell her? Probably not. Should he tell her? It feels like the right thing to do. All these thoughts were carried by Miguel when he entered his science class. Little did he know, that he won't be returning to the class for a pretty long time. In science class there was an announcement on the intercom. Suddenly, the teacher that was talking got interrupted by someone. We couldn't see but we could hear them struggling to get the mic. Finally, one of them got it and the mic spoke a voice that Miguel could recognize anywhere, Tory. And with two simple words she sent shivers to Miguel's heart and filled it with terror. Samantha LaRusso. You know what you did and now you're gonna pay for it. I'm coming for you bitch. The intercom went dead and as if on cue, the bell ringed. Miguel thought that Tory might have watched the kiss but he didn't actually think it could be possible. He knew what would happen when Tory found Sam in the hallway. His brain went in overdrive and he ran from the classroom and forgot his bag. When he got there, there was a crowd of people and the first thing he saw was Robby pushing Tory to a locker. Miguel's brain wasn't thinking rationally and ignored the possibility that Robby was trying to stop the fight and he charged with all his might. Robby and Miguel were fighting on the floor. Miguel's senses went hyper and he could notice that the crowd were starting to fight amongst themselves while being focused on Robby. Hawk was nailing everyone, Tory and Sam we're fighting. All the Cobra Kais and Miyagi-Dos started fighting each other. It was madness and just pure chaos. There was no stopping now. Miguel's brain focused on Robby and his battle instincts kicked in. Pure madness commanded everything as he took all his rage and throw everything he had at Robby and anyone who dared to disrupt the fight. Battles were raging all across the hallways. There was a part of Miguel that was scared, that there had never been a brawl like this and that he could end up seriously hurt. But that part was rational. And Miguel didn't do rational. His body went on automatic and focused on Robby. Finally his brain operated a bit more rationally and he decided that he should stop the fight between Tory and Sam. He went up the second floor where they were fighting and he tried to stop it but Tory pushed him out of the way, gave him a look of pure rage and went back with Sam. Robby came by and Miguel stopped him with a kick and they resumed their fight. Miguel soon realized that Sam had won against Tory and that all the fighting died down. It was only Robby and Miguel. And Miguel wasn't about to give up. Robby's punches started to connect but Miguel dodged his and his punch, kicked him in the gut, and when Robby sent a flying punch, Miguel grabbed it, put his leg in front of Robby's leg, and did practically a judo flip, he had him on the floor and he grabbed his arm and strained it. He had him. If he pulled the other way he could easily break his arm. Words of his sensei came to life on his brain, replaying them over and over. There was no honor in being merciless. Sensei wasn't taught the difference between mercy and honor and he paid the price for it. Miguel had the potential to be better than he was. And he was right. He let himself feel all the noise, the shouts encouraging him to do it, the cheering, everything. Despite all that, Miguel felt his grip on Robby's arm loosening and let it drop to the floor. He apologized to Robby Keene. He was being merciless. And with a roar Robby Keene had him on his knees and a powerful kick sent Miguel flying off the railing of the second floor. As he fell in slow motion, hearing Tory's hurt scream, Miguel's brain registered fear all over his body and got hit with something hard in his back, making all his senses shut down as he let the darkness consume him
Wow intense right? In the second season Miguel was much more protagonist than the first one, which is why there's more writing. By the way did you notice how Miguel called John Kreese Kreese at the start, then used sensei Kreese and then back to just Kreese? Anyway tell me in the comments what should I do next Robby 1s, Hawk 1s or Miguel 3s or maybe someone else! I hope you enjoyed it!
