Melascula flew off somewhere, scared and confused, leaving Galand alone with his thoughts. Like his ally before running off, he could only stare. Not only at his reflection but his life. He turned away from the window he had been staring for hours when someone had tapped his back. Galand slowly turned around to see a man in a brownish robe and had rather shaggy brown hair with a red ribbon covering his forehead. "Sir, are you alright?" The man said. Galand finally looked at the man and to his surprise, he looked familiar. A feeling Galand had instantly grown to hate. "Y...Yes, just..leave me alone." Galand muttered, walking away. "Oh by way, I'm looking for my son." The man said. Galand instantly stopped. Had he...heard this complete stranger say "son" before? "I haven't seen him in years and I'm hoping to find him. He's a grown man with white hair, rather muscular." The man described. Galand hoped this upcoming question wasn't going to get an answer but he had to find out. "What's his name"

"Ban." The man answered. Galand turned away and started running. He ran for what seemed like forever until stopped at a peaceful looking valley. He then sat on the grass, taking in the silence. Five hours passed and Galand didn't move an inch. He was thinking. About everything he was forced to witness, the man he met, and the presence of the attacker, it varied. Some strike felt like it had come from Escanor, then something entirely new, than...him.

He recognized the demonic force that stemmed from his attacks, yet something else was there. Power from the goddesses? There can be only one explanation. These were the four knights that they were told to kill at any cost and one of them was Meliodas and Elizabeth's child. The idea that they are living happily pissed him off. He started beating the ground in a fit of rage. Galand could feel the pain seeping deep from his soul flowing out as he pounded and pounded. "MELIODAS! I. HATE. YOU! HATE YOOOOOOU!" He yelled.

An hour passed and Galand had tired himself out. "What's the matter, Galand? Confused? Angry? Scared?" He heard a voice say from behind. "What?!" Galand yelled, turning to see Arthur with a smug look. "Oh how I've wanted to see this for the longest time. The loud and arrogant bastard practically wrapped around my mere finger." Arthur said, smiling wider. "What the hell is this?!" Galand asked. "Ever since I've became Chaos' host, I promised myself I was going to fix the mistakes of this world, by any means. Humans have suffered long enough from people like you but I'm wasn't going to let you or your friends sleep peacefully cause you don't deserve it, particularly you. The day you destroyed Camelot still plays in my head to this day and now, how the tides have turned?"

"What do you want from me?! I just want this to stop!" Galand exclaimed. "Atonement. Using you to help me accomplish my goal while eternally facing the pain you've given to all you've killed." Arthur explained. "This isn't fair! Do you know the agony me and Melascula were put through?!" Galand yelled. Arthur, in a flash, punched Galand in the stomach. Galand spat blood into the grass, which angered him. One hit and he's already tired?! "Don't talk to me about fairness, demon." Arthur demanded. Galand immediately got up and went for a punch, only for it to be caught by Arthur's hand. He then threw Galand across the field. He tried to get up again but Arthur's foot landed on his neck. Galand struggled and squirmed to try and get away but he couldn't move, no matter how hard he tried. All of it was pure joy for Arthur to witness and the cherry on top by the tears that he could see stream from Galand's eye.

Galand stopped with a loud roar which was the last his pride could muster. "You are all mine now, to do with as I wish to keep forever. Why I had you relieved of your delusion so quick is because I thought you and your friend would be perfect for an experiment with my hand-made curse and also because out of all of the Ten Commandments, I wanted to see you suffer the most." Arthur explained. He finally released his foot from Galand's throat. "Don't think about running or telling anyone about what you know because I'm willing to repeat the day of Mela-Galand's demise again and again." He added. Galand didn't respond but that's more than enough for Arthur. Arthur walked away, fading into the environment like he wasn't even there.

Galand sat there, not a single thought through his head. A man he had eaten had come back to life, his friends and possibly his own family were demons he had thought were meant to be disposed off, and a king he thought to be noble was going to be tormenting him for all of eternity

and he couldn't do anything about it.
