Spider-Man: Watch out! Here comes the Spider-Man! My friends saved me from the Chaos Kin, but now we have another problem. Loki! He has been manipulating everyone from the beginning just to give him a shortcut to the Nightmare Stone. He has already used its powers to defeat the Masters of Evil, kill Dark Sonic, and put Pit in the hospital! This is all my fault! Almost reunited with Palutena after three years, but fate just keeps them apart.

Asgard (Spider-Man's Universe).
Asgard. The Realm Eternal. The Heart of the Nine Realms. It is home to some of the most powerful gods in the multiverse, which is why it's been a frequent target of just about every madman desperate enough to try to seize that power for themselves. That is exactly what is about to happen today.
Two unnamed Asgardians stand guard of the capital city's gates when they heard a villainous voice shouting from a distance, "HO! BRAVE WARRIORS OF ASGARD!" They look ahead to find Loki bowing to them mockingly, "I've come to pay my respects to Odin!"
"Loki…" An Asgardian Guard spit out that name in disgust.
"And, of course, I brought presents." chuckled Loki, startlingly appearing between them to gesture, "Behold! My tribute to the All-Father!"
BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Ultimate Confrontation
Massive boulders are on the horizon caused by the worst threats from the Nine Realms and beyond. Frost Giants. Dark Elves. Rock Trolls. All of them supporting the gigantic army of Underworlders led by the God of Mischief declaring to the realm, "The day of reckoning has ARRIVED!" His army assaults the city gates while its guards remain hopelessly powerless to stop them, "Long have I been denied my rightful place." He then flourishes the all-mighty Nightmare Stone in his possession as he proclaims, "But now, I have the POWER TO TAKE IT!"
An Underworld Crawler fires the last powerful shot that finally topples the gates. It's about to fall on the two guards, until one of them shouts, "RUUUUN-!", and sacrifices himself by pushing away his partner so he won't die too.
"AHAHAHAAHAHA!" Loki laughed, gesturing to his army to launch their full-scale invasion at the defenseless city.
Loki's Army and Asgard. The only thing standing between them is the surviving Asgardian guard who knows he has no chance in Hel against this unstoppable threat. Despite the impossible odds, the guard remains stern. Fearless. He brandishes his war hammer and makes a sacrificial run toward the enemy screaming, "FOR ASGAAAAAARRRRRDDD!", before ramming through the endless horde to his dying breath.
"Odin's throne will be MINE!" Loki vowed, breaking into maniacal laughter as his army invades the divine city with no hero to stop them.

Palutena's Temple, Skyworld. World of Kid Icarus.
Nick Fury, Palutena, and a hologram of Viridi, all three are in the War Room watching live footage of Asgard under siege. And it is far from a pretty sight to behold. "He's finally doing it. Loki is invading Asgard." Fury commented stoically.
"And from the look of things, they won't last much longer." Viridi stated gloomily.
"Let's just hope Odin can hold them off until we can provide him reinforcements." Palutena frowned.
"Aren't you like banned from Asgard or something?" Viridi recalled the strained relationship between Skyworld and Asgard, which has been the case since Palutena's childhood.
"That doesn't matter when our universes are in grave danger. Or it does. Odin can be extremely stubborn." Palutena quipped.
Fury scoffs, "Got that right."
Nearby, the Dimensional Avengers and Team Scarlet are in the middle of their own private discussion regarding recent events. "…So Hades is the Divine Shadow. He and Loki have been working together since the beginning?" Scarlet Spider questioned the Avengers.
"Yeah." Sonic nodded solemnly, "They revived Medusa as a distraction to keep us on our toes while they search for clues on the two Exo Stones, and to lure in the Masters of Evil so they can wipe out all competition."
"At the very least, weaken us by the time they launch their own invasion of worlds. No wonder Loki allowed us to flee when we first obtained the Dream Stone. He wanted to studied its power while we used it against his enemies." Lucina remarked stoically.
"Notably Palutena and the Chaos Kin. Loki has a grudge against her, hence why he manipulated the Chaos Kin into possessing her for three years. Not just to further ruin her reputation, but to gain access to the Chaos Vortex and trick us into uncovering the Nightmare Stone for him." Weiss scowled with hate for falling for Loki's schemes.
"I was only recruited to make things more complicated." The unmasked New Goblin chimed into the discussion, "Loki saved me when I was on the verge of death back in my world. Now I realize that he only did that to find the perfect weapon. He messed with my memories. Filled my head with lies to spike my anger and be easier to control. I only became the Demogoblin when I realized the truth. Wish it was sooner…"
"We're so sorry, Harry. At least you're back to help us stop him." Mary Jane replied comfortingly.
"A cunning scheme befitting a trickster." Tiki frowned calmly, "Though it does not sound like Dark Sonic's betrayal was part of his plot."
"Probably not. But now that he's outta the way, competition is little and weak. The world is on the brink of destruction by the Underworld." Dark Pit responded.
The stoic Kaine scoffs, "What a fine mess we got ourselves into…
Just then, an unmasked Spider-Man walks into the room looking like he lost his last friend. "Peter. How is Pit?" MJ asked him.
"Still unconscious. With his wings burned up, he can't last much longer. This is all my fault…" Peter claimed through his gloomy mood, expressing his tiring sense of responsibility that his friends have witnessed many times before.
"Christ, this is NOT the time for your classic 'woe is me' routine! Our worlds are in danger!" retorted Scarlet, angrily confronting his big brother.
"Shut up! Don't you think I know that?! What do you want me to do?!" Peter snapped.
"Man up for starters!" Scarlet exclaimed upon grabbing him by his costume with an intense glare.
"So I can lead you all to the hospital like Pit? He's DYING because I pushed him too far!" Peter countered by grabbing onto his clone's costume with a furious scowl.
"That isn't true and YOU KNOW IT, PARKER!"
"EASY!" Sonic quickly intercepted the brothers' arguing.
"CALM DOWN! BOTH OF YOU!" Fury also stepped in alongside the goddesses, "This is not the time to be squabbling! If there is anyone to blame for the kid's condition, it's Loki and his Nightmare Stone!"

But Peter argues, "Loki would've never gotten the Stone if I wasn't so weak in allowing the Chaos Kin to steal my soul! Asgard is under siege! So many people are dying and there's nothing I can do about it!" He then glances at Harry saying, "You were right, Harry. Nobody ever wins when I'm involved. I fight bank robbers, not gods. I was out of my league from the start."
"What I said was nonsense! Loki is the one winning here! I would still be his slave if it wasn't for you!" Harry refuted.
"You would've never BEEN his slave if you weren't my best friend!" Peter retorted.
"And my soul would've been stolen if you didn't sacrifice yourself for me!" Palutena joins the intense argument.
"Wouldn't have made a difference." Peter countered gravely.
"Listen! I was WRONG!" Palutena calmly admitted to all present around her, "I should have never doubted your ability. Of all my mortal friends. My hubris…My vanity as a god…I sincerely believed that you were incapable of defending our worlds from their greatest threats. But your actions throughout this journey have proven otherwise. You ARE worthy of being our mightiest heroes! Pit wouldn't be one too if you didn't have faith in him. He needs you. I need you. We won't survive this nightmare without the Dimensional Avengers by our side."
Touched to hear the Goddess of Light finally learning some humility, Peter has his confidence restored to sigh, "…Well I know one thing. We won't be able to save the dimensions without Kid Icarus."
"What's stopping us from using the Dream Stone to heal him?" Pittoo recommended stoically.
"You don't think we've tried several times? He's cursed or something!" Weiss retorted.
"By the Nightmare Stone, no doubt. Its capabilities are still unknown to us." Tiki remarked, realizing Loki secretly cursed the angel.
"Rest assured. I thought of another way to save him." Palutena claimed.
"Of course you did." Pittoo snarked.
"We both owe Pit. You know that. Think of the sacrifices he made to save the both of us." Palutena reminded the dark angel, who silently admits that she's right.
"…All right. Then what's the next step?" Pittoo asked.
"We must go to the City of Souls. It's the place where souls make their final passage into death…or back into life." Palutena explained.
"I get it. You want to turn back the clock and cheat death." Fury understood her plan.
"Raising the dead, keeping the near-dead alive…It's pretty dirty business." Viridi pointed out the risks that come with cheating death.
"I know the stakes, but we don't have a choice." Palutena proclaimed, determined regardless of the stakes.
"Hey, weren't you two punks just at war with each other?" Scarlet realized.
"Mind your own business!" Viridi snapped back at the apathetic clone, "I'm not so petty that I can't extend an olive branch at a time like this."
"Thank you, Viridi. And thank you for helping the Avengers when I couldn't." Palutena smiled, grateful to her rival goddess.
"Just so you know, this is NOT a hug-it-out moment." Viridi retorted.
"You're too short for one anyway." Scarlet mocked with arms crossed stoically.
"Could probably hug our leg." Peter teased smirkingly.
"I HATE you spiders!" Viridi growled with hair-ripping fury.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Scorched Feathers (Part 1)
"I'm outta here!" Dark Pit leaps through the teleporter door to soar through a demonic sky with the largest team of heroes yet. Spider-Man in his Iron Spider Armor. New Goblin riding his Sky Stick. Sonic flying with his Hover Shoes. Weiss and Lucina piloting their own Sky-Cycles. And Scarlet Spider mounting the back of Dragon Tiki. All of them working together to save Pit before it's too late.
"We couldn't have left Goblin behind? He's worse luck than Spider-Man." Scarlet mocked dryly.
"What's your beef with me anyway?" Harry questioned the mistrustful arachnid.
"Your father killed my BROTHER!" Scarlet retorted, still fuming over the loss of Ben Reilly by the hands of Green Goblin.
"Technically it was a different Norman." Iron Spider quipped.
"Doesn't matter! You Osborns have caused us a lot of misery and death!" Kaine argued.
"I understand. My dad's sins are added to mine to atone. I'll do everything in my power to make good out of the Osborn name. Saving the multiverse should be a good start." Harry replied sincerely.
"Hehe…" Weiss giggled adorably, sympathizing with her crush's dreams to restore the family honor.
"Not to hurt your feelings, but THIS Pit doesn't need your help to fly. So don't expect me to suck up to you." Dark Pit told the light goddess.
'If your flight's unlimited, you don't have to battle on land.' Palutena responded telepathically.
'So air battle only? It feels strange to say it, but I'm disappointed.' Viridi snarked.
'Fury, keep us updated on the Battle of Asgard. Mary Jane, I'll be grateful if you keep an eye on Pit for us.' Palutena tasked them nicely.
'Roger.' Fury acknowledged.
'Have fun, guys.' MJ smiled, wishing everyone the best.
Upon venturing into a dead forest, the dimensional team is confronted by a massive Underworld swarm that they work together against if they want to survive with minor injuries. Spidey evades several attacks from several Underworlders but doesn't bother retaliating, instead leaving their destruction to Dark Pit and his fearsome arrow barrage. Harry keeps track of a Syren pursuing Sonic and a couple of Shrips clashing with Lucina, destroying the hedgehog's pursuer with a missile before assisting the princess with some pumpkin bombs. Weiss is eliminating her Underworld batch just fine and easy, going as far as to ignore the Wave Angler that is web-pulled to Tiki's devastating fire breath by Scarlet Spider.
"I see something in the distance!" Lucina noticed what appears to be a city up ahead.
"We're getting close!" Goblin remarked.
Quickly after, the party arrives at their crystalized destination. The City of Souls. "What kind of city IS this?!" An amazed Sonic commented.
"It's unlike any earthly city. The spirits of the dead gather here." Tiki answered.
"So, basically, this is the Underworld." Dark Pit summarized.
"YOU GOT IT!"
Unsurprisingly to all, that sinister voice belonged to Hades. The Underworld God is appearing in the distance as a large projection that doesn't intimidate the darkest heroes of the group in the slightest. "Oh, it's you." Pittoo greeted dryly.
"Hades!" Harry snarled at his former master.
"This clown is supposed to be the God of the Underworld? Get real." Scarlet Spider scoffed mockingly.
"MORE REAL THAN YOU, FAKE BUGS." Hades quipped cheekily, "LOOKIE AT ANGEL BOY. LOOKING A LITTLE GOTH TODAY. I HOPE THE STRESSES OF LIFE HAVEN'T GOTTEN YOU DOWN. THAT WOULD BE EVER SO TRAGIC."
"No one's listening." Pittoo snarked stoically, just as the divine projection fades away.
'It's hilarious how you have no sense of humor! But that sourpuss attitude's gonna give you an ulcer someday, you know.' Hades wisecracked.
'Anyway, Pittoo, your understanding is correct. The Underworld is where souls go. As you know, Reapers are responsible for carrying souls.' Viridi began a new discussion between them.
'But we've got an excess of souls these days. You can blame Loki's attack on Asgard, which is going gloriously by the way. The Reapers can't handle them all!' Hades quipped.
"I thought Asgardians cross to Valhalla when killed in battle." Tiki recalled.
'Not after our two Exo Stones kissed and distorted reality. All souls, no matter origin of universe, are now invited to damnation in my Underworld. Including your Daddy, Gobby.' Hades snarked callously, reminding them of the recent cosmic phenomenon in the Chaos Vortex.
"Damn you!" Harry snarled coldly, given more reason to despise the dark gods.
"So the extra souls come here?" Spidey questioned.
'Yes, though some just fade away. And others are…well…eaten.' Palutena answered somberly.
'Even in the afterlife, it's survival of the fittest!' Hades joked.
'That makes some sense. The weak are consumed, just as nature intended.' Viridi commented.
"Guess that makes me the strongest since I broke out of hell." Scarlet boasted about his own resurrection.
'No wonder you reek of Underworld stank.' teased Viridi, watching the team getting closer to their objective by flying through a small tunnel.

Meanwhile at Asgard…
BGM-Marvel Future Fight OST-The Battle for Jotunheim
The Sacking of Asgard is all but won by the Underworld Army. Their power proved too surprising and intense for the Asgardians that are losing ground to them. Many citizens have perished and the city is being demolished. This is Asgard's worst nightmare. And it is solely because it has fallen under the Nightmare Stone's mysterious influence. Loki is on the verge of total victory. There is just one last obstacle that he must deal with within the throne room of the golden palace. The One-Eyed Ruler. The Strongest All-God. His adoptive All-Father, Odin.
"LOKI!" Odin yelled with an intense fury that doesn't distract his son from their all-out duel of glorious magic blasts. "I should have foreseen this betrayal!" He scowled, firing an immense beam that briefly pushes back his son until a burst of his immeasurable magic deflects the attack. "Your misguided ambitions will come to naught!" declared the All-Father, running with his Gungnir spear and clashing with the trickster's staff in the most intense close-quarters match between them since forever. And quickly, Odin is on his knee desperately trying to push back his son's splendid staff slam.
"THIS is a momentous occasion in history! All-Father Odin's defeat! FALLING at the hands of his son!" Loki grinned arrogantly.

"Deluded boy!" Odin summons his full godly might to overcome his son, disarming him of his staff before smacking him down to the steps of his throne and threatening to end his life with Gungnir, "Many would-be-conquerors have tried to usurp me and failed! YOU are an arrogant whelp, Loki, with neither the magic nor the fortitude to defeat me!"
Ominously, Loki retorts, "Oh I beg to differ. I have power. And I know how to use it."
BGM-Fire Emblem Warriors OST-Evil
The Trickster then disappears from his father's heel, who turns around just to be blasted down by the full almighty force of the Nightmare Stone. The impossible has happened. All-Father Odin has fallen. With him defeated, Asgard will lose to the Underworld momentarily. Enough time for the cackling Loki to get comfortable on his new throne. "What are you supposed to do when all your dreams come true? Rhetorical question, I know exactly what I'm going to do. Conquer all realms and obtain the ultimate power!" Loki monologued.
Weakly, Odin tries to argue, "You will not…Thor…"
"Has his hands full. I made certain of that." Loki claimed to have delayed his brother's arrival to the All-War, "I have been planning this for a long time. Ever since I learned the truth behind the Skyworlders' banishment."
"The Goddess of Darkness…" Odin remarked.
"You feared Medusa to be the Divine Shadow that would bring about a multidimensional Ragnarok simply because of her title, hence relations between Skyworld and Asgard cut abruptly. If only you had the foresight of me seeking out the true Divine Shadow, then you wouldn't be groveling before my feet now." Loki mocked his father.
"I was hasty…I did what I thought would protect the realms…" Odin admitted with eyes filled with regret.
"All the more reason for a new king with fresh ideas to sit on the throne. Sleep well, father." quipped Loki, using his Stone to force his own father to collapse through the many floors of the palace until he falls into deepest Odinsleep at the deepest dungeon.
'Are you winning, Lokes?' Hades telepathically asked him.
"Winning? More like triumphed!" Loki chuckles victoriously while getting off his throne to explore his new conquered palace, "It was more wondrous than my wildest of dreams!"
'Ironic since you won with Nightmares.' Hades joked.
"How I wish I could forever relive the fall of Asgard! You should've been here. It was so amusing to watch the oafish knaves as they fought in defense of their beloved city. But one by one they realized that all was lost. Heimdall, Tyr, Balder, and even the mighty Odin have tasted the bitter dregs of defeat. Now I, Loki, am the true Lord and Master of Asgard. And all those who had dared to mock me will soon be in chains, beaten and hopeless." Loki proclaimed celebratory.
Their conversation is taken to the backyard of the palace, to where the massive Yggdrasil tree is free to be used by the new Asgardian King however he wishes. 'May I remind you that Palutena and the Dimensional Avengers still roam free? They don't seem too happy we tricked them. They're running amok in my realm as we speak.' Hades informed him of the current situation in the Underworld.
Loki places his hand on the world tree, harnessing the Nightmare Stone to infuse it with its corruptive presence that is transforming its brown bark black for a mysteriously sinister purpose, "No doubt searching for the means to revive the angel. Like his presence would make a difference, but I like being a jerk. We must delay their efforts a little longer as you ready your conquest of the remaining Realms."
'Got any bright ideas?' Hades asked.
In response, Loki uses the Nightmare Stone to conjure a new power. He creates a large Rock Troll resembling the mightiest of their race that wears armor, has wild teeth, and equipped with brass knuckles. At the same time, he's different from a usual Troll. His rock-hard skin is colored black, with hair that gone white, eyes that turned red, and clothing that glows a sinister purple, alongside white and pink markings across the body. A living nightmare, that is what he is. One under Loki's complete control.
"Just the one." Loki smiled sinisterly.

Back at the City of Souls…
'Better hurry, team. Asgard looks to be on its last legs.' Fury informed the Goddess Avengers Alliance as soon as they arrived in another section of the City of Souls.
"Move your butts, people!" Dark Pit commanded the team.
"Don't be a Maria Hill, kid." Iron Spider quipped before speeding up amazingly.

'Remember when I said that some souls get eaten?' Palutena reminded them.
'Well, here's the hideous devourer of souls himself!' Viridi announced.
Suddenly from the nearest abyss is a Soul-Eating Monster somewhat resembling a gulper eel that lunges out at the heroes, nearly devouring Dragon Tiki and Scarlet from how tasty they look together. "You weren't kidding about the hideous part!" Kaine snarked as they flee from the giant beast.
'I find him quite adorable, actually. And souls CAN be very delicious. Luckily, they don't possess personalities or anything like that.' Hades quipped.
"What—they don't?" Pittoo retorted in shock while fleeing from the demon's many lasers.
'Of course not! Souls have no more personality than blood or bone. They're just another resource to harvest from living beings.' Hades snarked.
'Your disregard for life is just astounding. Could you be any more callous?' Viridi remarked in disgust.
'Well, I could try. You know, souls are a bit like taffy. Sweet enough to eat, but pliable enough to mold into any shape I can imagine.' Hades replied, somewhat jokingly.
'I don't even…That's just so…Um…Nuh-uh!' Viridi retorted at an amazing loss for words.
'I'd love to get my hands on Pittooey's soul, and Scarlet Buggy's. So dark, so chewy, so malleable! Powerful spirits like theirs shouldn't be wasted on Ol' Chomper's lunch.' Hades voiced his desire for the dark heroes' clones.
"Just try and you'll lose more than your hands!" threatened Scarlet, bombarding the eel beast with flaming web blasts.
Nearby Reapettes fly in to assist the Soul-Eating Monster, ramming into the heroes to fend them off. One of the Monster's lasers manages to blast back Spider-Man, until he was swiftly caught by New Goblin and watches him blast electricity that barely slows down the beast and assists by webbing his multiple eyes. "Destroy the sacs on its back!" Harry suggested to his allies.
"Why?" Pittoo questioned his plan.
"I worked here, remember?"
"Oh yeah."
Dark Pit allies with Spidey, Weiss and Lucina to unleash a smashing energy barrage that destroys all the back sacs in a single combo. This tactic helped revealed a red light shining from the Monster's mouth, which is bombed instantly by Goblin and causes the beast to collapse in defeat.
"Buh-bye now." Sonic smiled alongside gesturing a taunting goodbye wave to the defeated demon.
"Good thinking, Harry." Spidey complimented his best friend's strategy.
"And that's why I'm CEO of Oscorp." Harry boasted.
"A company of murderers?" Scarlet snarked.
"Let it go, Scarlet."
With the Soul-Eating Monster dealt with, the heroes continue proceeding through the City of Souls. "Do you think Hades was serious about molding souls into other forms?" Tiki recalled the god's earlier remark.
'It would explain his endless supply of troops. He's making them out of souls!' Palutena speculated.
'Professor Palutena does it again!' Hades wisecracked, admitting his heinous actions.
"Harry, is this true?" Weiss asked her crush for genuine confirmation.
"Yeah." Harry nodded, "Now that I think about it…there's no WAY the Underworld Army could ever lose!"
"With an army that endless empowered by the Nightmare Stone, it's no wonder Asgard is having a hard time." Sonic discussed.
"It's a war of attrition!" Scarlet realized to his own shock that the Trickster Gods have a significant advantage in this war.
"And there is little we can do to win it." Lucina frowned.
'Uh…SPOILER ALERT!' Hades quipped.
'So let me get this straight. All the lives lost in battle go to building up the Underworld Army…' Viridi commented.
'You got it. So the more fighting there is, the bigger my army gets. My goodness! It feels wonderful to be on the winning team.' Hades clarified on his insanely ingenious scheme.
"Hold on a second." Pittoo intervened, "Your math is a little off. You might want to break out the Brain Age, pal."
'I have a brain age of 24!' Viridi boasted.
"Perfect 20 here!" Spidey bragged.
'Nice!'
'And that's all relevant because…?' Palutena snarked.
"Think about all the casualties there have been in this multiversal war between the gods. If Hades was right, the Underworld would be WAY more crowded with monsters." Pittoo stated.
Tiki remarks, "Then that means that one fallen soldier doesn't equal one new Underworld monster. After all, creating something as corporeal as a monster would take…"
'A TON of souls!' Viridi realized horrifically, '…But that's a huge waste! It's…an abomination!'
"Yeah, that's just about the sickest thing I've ever heard. We HAVE to stop them." Pittoo vowed, agreeing with the goddess that Hades is misusing his powers on a multiversal scale.
"YOU POOR DELUDED THINGS!" Giant Hades then angrily appears in front of the startled heroes proclaiming, "YOU'LL NEVER STOP ME! NOT IN MY REALM!", before attempting to strike at them, but they quickly flew behind a pillar that takes the brunt of the damage.
"This is a first. We actually struck a nerve." Spidey snarked, noting that Hades hates having his rule questioned.
'Don't let him get under your skin!' Palutena advised the team.
"Not a problem." Scarlet retorted. At full ferocious speeds, Team Scarlet attempts to hurt the god with a flying strike, but they pass through his fading mirage thanks to his intangibility, "Hmph. Coward."
"It's been great touring the City of Souls and all, but we're here to save Pit, right?" Pittoo snarkly reminded everyone of their main objective.
'Hey, no need to cop and attitude. Just keep moving forward.' Palutena retorted.
'Get a room, lovebirds.' Hades teased.
Immediately after, the party arrives at a glowing stream of souls flowing through the air. "Whoa…Look at that. Is that a stream of souls?" Spidey questioned its ominous beauty.
"That WAS a stream of souls. But so many lives have been lost that it's now a torrent." Harry corrected gloomily.
'All souls need to find their final resting place down here so that life can spring anew. That's part of the natural cycle of life. But Hades and Loki keep playing with souls. They won't let them rest. Their bloodlust has thrown everything off balance.' Palutena stated.
'It's like humans disrupting the balance on Earth! It's unforgivable!' Viridi compared, with her arrogant attitude really grating the mortal heroes that are risking their lives to restore the balance.
"How many times are you going to keep BLAMING US for EVERY problem?!" Weiss snapped.
"ALL you gods and your stupid wars are the ones throwing everything off balance!" Dark Pit calls her out on her divine arrogance.
'You little nothings! How dare you?' Viridi retorted, feeling insulted by their accusations.
"How dare WE?! WE'RE the humans risking our necks to clean up YOUR mess!" Scarlet argued furiously.
"You're supposed to be a god, not a spoiled brat! Grow up and take responsibility for your own actions!" Lucina supported the clone's argument.
'Why you…' Viridi responded, feeling more insulted and having a harder time refuting.
"This war has gone on long enough. There is saying that prophecies are simple predictions based on people's identities and actions. Change NEEDS to happen between mortals and gods if peace is to return to the world." Tiki suggested wisely.
"C'mon, Viridi. Even you gotta admit that this war has gotten out of hand." Sonic said calmly.
'Urrrgh…' Viridi mumbled, struggling to admit that he is right. That they all might be right.
'All of them bring up a good point.' Palutena sides with her mortal comrades in this intense argument, 'We have the Underworld Army out to hoard souls. We have the Forces of Nature trying to wipe out humanity. We have the Dimensional Avengers and Masters of Evil clashing across dimensions. We have the humans continuing to exploit nature and each other. And we have us—gods—who drag the entire world into our power struggles. But it doesn't matter how this started. Now we know who's profiting from it.'
'Hades and Loki! Left unchecked, they threaten us all.' Viridi agreed to that much.
"Then our only option is to take them down." Spider-Man stated.
"But to do that, we're going to need Pit's help. Let's get him patched up." New Goblin replied.
With an even stronger resolve to save Pit, the Avengers hurry to their destination that is finally coming into view. 'Up ahead is the Rewind Spring. That's where you need to go. I'll bring Pit in right next to you.' Palutena informed them.
'As the name implies, the Rewind Spring can return things to their original states. But if you soak for too long, it'll rewind things too far, and that can get weird.' Viridi warned them.
"Like 'turn yourself into a baby' weird?" Spidey asked curiously.
'Yeah.' Viridi answered casually, as the heroes fly down to the Rewind Spring.

Rewind Spring.
One by one, the Goddess Avengers Alliance lands at the magical spring that can roll back the effects of time. Dark Pit deactivates his flight power. New Goblin dematerializes his Sky Stick. Sonic turns off his Hover Shoes. Weiss and Lucina park their Sky-Cycles. Tiki returns to her human form after Scarlet Spider jumps off of her. And Spider-Man takes off the Iron Spider Armor to joke about their finding, "Lookie, the Fountain of Youth. Now you can remove those wrinkles, Tiki."
"Where?!" Tiki claps her non-wrinkly cheeks in distress.
"Stop teasing her, man." Scarlet retorted, which gets a little laugh from his brother.
Dark Pit rushes over to the Rewind Spring to observe its magical water. While he does, a glowing energy suddenly appears over his wings and lifts him into the air as he screams, "Aaauuuugh!", and the energy separates from his falling being to the ground.
'WHAT is going on?!' Viridi exclaimed in utter surprise.
The strange energy gathers over the spring and dives into the water, emerging moments later as a newly-revived Goddess of Calamity that everyone recognizes as Pandora. "Well, that worked out nicely." She laughed mockingly upon her own return.
"It's Pandora!" Harry recognized while helping Dark Pit on his feet.
"Oh yeah. She was a thing." Spidey joked about forgetting her.
BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Boss Fight 1
'Wow! I sure wasn't expecting that!' Viridi admitted while trying to make sense of this bizarre situation.
"YOU can thank Dark Pit for bringing me to the Rewind Spring. He was a rebellious servant, though it seems he still served my purposes in the end. But that little parasite DID steal my powers. And for that, he must pay!" Pandora expressed her fury by tackling her former servant.
'She can be quite frightening.' Palutena admitted.
'I hope I never get to that point.' Viridi joked.
"Punk Pit was her slave?" The curious Scarlet Spider questioned.
"She was the one that created him. Created all the Dark Avengers actually." Spidey briefed his clone.
"So she's this world's Jackal." Kaine then sinisterly chuckles, "This is perfect. That bastard still needs to pay for creating me. I am MORE than happy to take out my anger on this blob bitch!"
"Rude!" Pandora retorted, right before receiving a surprising brutal punch to the face by Kaine that launches her into being struck by Dark Pit.
'Pandora's leftover power was what enabled Pittoo to fly.' Palutena reminded the team during their easy fight against the calamity goddess.
'He basically had her remains living in his wings. Gross. But standing too close to the Rewind Spring seems to have revived her.' Viridi commented.
"Your freeloading days are over!" claimed Pandora, deploying bombs at her angel creation.
"Really." Pittoo snarked whilst reflecting her bombs that does her extra damage like last time, "The whole flying thing worked out pretty well for me. I might just defeat you again and steal your power back!"
"I HIGHLY doubt that." Pandora believed otherwise.
"We beaten you TWICE already! We gotten loads stronger and new pals by our side while you're still the same ol' blob!" quipped Sonic, knocking back the goddess with a smiling Spin Dash, "You ain't winnin' this, Pan-Pal!"

Sonic runs to deliver the final blow to Pandora, when out of nowhere that same Nightmarish Rock Troll from Asgard intercepts and nearly backhand smacks the hedgehog off the arena. "Then allow Ulik to assist her!" The Nightmare introduces himself as Ulik, King of the Rock Trolls, speaking with a dark voice.
"My hero." Pandora quipped grinningly.
BGM-Super Kirby Clash OST-VS. Parallel Nightmare
"Where did THIS guy come from?!" Sonic exclaimed in pained surprise.
'Ulik? Lord of the Rock Trolls from the Asgardian Realms! But, he's different! He's changed somehow!' Palutena recognized him, much to her horror and confusion.
'Two words: Nightmare. Stone.' Viridi snarked out her best guess.
"So you little vermin are the opposers to Loki's conquest." Ulik confronted the heroes, "I see Thor is not here as well. Where is my old rival?"
"Dunno. Dude doesn't have a phone, and the last time I emailed him he didn't get it 'cause he doesn't know what computers are for." Spider-Man quipped.
Mockingly, Ulik smiles, "So, he is afraid of a challenge.", before chuckling, "The God of Thunder, cowering in a hole while his home falls!" He smashes his brass knuckles, his Pounders, together, approaching his enemies with a menacing demeanor and taunt, "Those Asgardians have ALWAYS looked down upon my kind, but at last, we know it is them…", before throwing an earth-shaking punch that the heroes just barely evaded, "Who are TRULY cowards!"
"Dunno about them, but not us! You and Pandora are BOTH going down!" Dark Pit declared, fiercely firing arrows that are ineffective against the Troll's rocky hide.
Simultaneously, Spider-Man and Scarlet Spider mutate into their strongest forms of Beast Out Spidey and Scarlet Tarantula respectively before rushing for an fearsome clash with this new threat. Powerful punches are traded between the Troll and Spiders and looking evenly matched, even while the Spiders bicker amongst themselves.
"Don't copy my style!" Scarlet argues with his big brother.
"That's funny coming from you!" Spidey quipped with his little brother clone.
Ulik gathers strength in his fists to ferociously repel the arachnid brothers before using that same strength to slam out a mighty shockwave that they endure. Before doing so again, the Troll is blinded by Spidey's webbing and is attacked multiple times by Scarlet's fists and pincers. He counters their combo with devastating blows, knocking them onto Weiss and Lucina.
"I have clashed with the Thunderer many times in earth-shaking battles. As if mere human bugs could compare!" Ulik boasted, threatening to kill them with this next attack.
"They're actually arachnids, stupid." snarked Harry, striking him back with a pumpkin bomb whilst flying around on his Sky Stick. The Goblin Heir makes a U-turn to attack again, only to be smashed back by his shockwaves and leave it to Tiki's powerful fireballs to blast him toward Sonic's Spin Dash.
"I will SQUEEZE the life out of you!" A furious Ulik grapples with Beast Out Spidey who is using all his strength to match him, buying time for Scarlet Tarantula to knee him down for Spidey to deliver rapidfire brutal punches to his face.

Meanwhile, the combined power of Weiss, Lucina, and Pittoo easily overcame Pandora and caused her to back up toward the Rewind Spring. "Irritating little pests…Time to exterminate you!" Pandora claimed, before retreating into the spring once more.
"What is she planning?" Lucina wondered suspiciously.
Weiss jokes, "Someone's desperate. Look, she's going to jump out of there as a baby blob and I'm going to laugh really-."
But as soon as Pandora reemerged in a beautiful humanoid form, all girls, mortal and god and dragon alike, scream, "WHAAAAAAAAAT?!", with the most humorously surprised expressions ever.
"WHOOOOOOOA!" All boys besides Ulik and Pittoo yelled in loving awe at her sexy new blue and purple corset.
"This I like." Ulik smiled, also falling in love with her new form.
"Who is THAT?!" Pittoo questioned in bewildering disbelief that this new lady is Pandora.
BGM-Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds OST-Theme of Morrigan
The newly-transformed Amazing Pandora laughs, "It's the new, improved me! Ahhh... It's been so long since I've had a body! Eat your hearts out, ladies!" She then strikes a flirtatious pose with her new sword, resuming her battle with the heroes.
'SOMEone's overcompensating!' Viridi expressed jealously.
'Feeling a little inadequate, Viridi?' Palutena teased.
"Of course she is. You should too! Just LOOK at me!" boasted Amazon Pandora, firing heart-shaped projectiles that weaken her enemies.
"Can't do that when you're blasting us to hell!" Harry quipped.
'I liked her better when she was just an evil blob.' Palutena stated, feeling some jealously herself.
'She's still an evil blob underneath. She just has better hair, that's all.' Viridi claimed.
"Don't forget an ass that I can finally kick!" Scarlet Tarantula retorted while rushing toward the blade clash between Pittoo and Pandora. The dark angel had a slight disadvantage, evading her bladed shockwaves until he is assisted by the dark spider yanking away her sword and attacks her proper. Scarlet supports him further by shuffle boxing her into a chokehold, pummeling her with punches that are bruising her face before she is kicked down by Pittoo.
"You ugly animals! No respect for women at all!" Pandora scolds them with cute anger.
"Maybe you're just not their type!" retorted Lucina, rushing at the evil goddess with a dashing strike that looks to have knocked her down for the count.
Not it didn't. "Just kidding." smirked Pandora, slyly blasting away the princess after she let her guard down.
Upon noticing Nightmare Ulik having some trouble with the other heroes, Amazon Pandora receives a mischievous idea. She sits flirtatiously on his shoulder and says, "Y'know, handsome, I didn't get the chance to thank you for saving me back there. How do you feel about partnering up with this amazon beauty? It'll be worth your while."
"Just don't get in my way." Ulik retorted sternly.
Troll and Amazon, together for one lovely combo of devastation that will really push the heroes to their limits. Pandora paralyzes enemies like Spider-Man, Tiki and Weiss with her hearts, making them easy prey for Ulik to smash with his Pounders. "They hooked up. Fantastic. I won't be surprised if this gets any worse." Sonic shrugged.
'There you are, friends. I finally tracked you down! You're a stealthy bunch.' Hades reenters the telepathic chat room, much to Sonic's annoyed groan.
'That's because I was using my power of ninjary.' Palutena quipped.
'Riiiight.' Viridi dryly snarked knowing full well she's lying, as she just loves to do.
'What, you don't believe me?'
"I think that's something everyone can agree on." Dark Pit chuckled.
'Tone down the sass, little angel.' Viridi sassed back.

"It's been a long time, Lord Hades." Amazon Pandora greeted her master, who takes an immediate interest in her.
'Hm? And you are…?' Hades asked, unable to recognize his own transformed Underworld Commander.
"Don't tell me you've forgotten your old friend Pandora." Pandora reminded him.
'…I don't remember you being so…animated.' Hades flirted.
"That's not the half of it!" Pandora boasted her beauty again.
'If the Rewind Spring did this to Pandora, I shudder to think of its effect on Pitty! No one wants to see him in that outfit. Ulik, better get started in destroying that spring.' Hades ordered his nightmare monster.
BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Combat Start
"Got it." Ulik smiled maliciously, glaring at his watery objective that he will destroy if no one stops him.
'You can't do that!' Palutena exclaimed, horrified from the thought of losing their only chance to revive her best friend.
'Come on, Avengers! Get rid of those lovebirds for good!' Viridi urgently ordered them to finish this fight now.
"Oh, don't you worry!" Pittoo retorted, working alongside Harry, Tiki, and Weiss in firing at their enemies from different corners of the battlefield. Their tactic didn't work as it was easily evaded, with Pandora conjuring her own cursed box that opens and erupts powerful bombs that are endured by the unified heroes.
"Scarlet, now's our chance!" Beast Out Spidey shouted at his clone to initiate their secret plan.
Scarlet Tarantula was initially confused on what he was talking about, until he saw Spidey lead Lucina, Harry, and Tiki in battling Nightmare Ulik and Pittoo leading Sonic and Weiss in combating Amazon Pandora. He quickly realized his purpose whilst unleashing a mighty roar, "Haaaaargh! HAAAAAAAAAAH!", and igniting his entire body in hellfire. The ground, the air around him, vibrates from the sheer intensity of him pushing his X-Semblance into overdrive, opening his mouth and charging a purple fireball that spells ultimate doom for his enemies.
'I get it! While they're both distracted…' Palutena realized what their secret plan is for herself.
Noticing his brother is reaching full power and his foes are in blasting range, Spidey shouts, "NOW!", before binding the villains together with his strongest webbing.
"TAKE THIIIIIIIIIIS!" Scarlet roared, unleashing with all his might and rage a massive hellfire beam infused with webbing that both hits and sends the twin horrified villains far into the sky away from the Rewind Spring, where they are enveloped by the equally massive explosion that shakes the Underworld for a brief moment.

"Ow!" Pandora grunted pathetically before falling into the dark abyss where she'll never be seen or heard from again.
"THIS coming from the mighty Pandora?!" Pittoo mocked her one last time.
"Are you okay?" Tiki asked while checking on her exhausted boyfriend.
"Yeah…" Scarlet responded, having returned to his normal form.
"That was awesome." Pittoo admitted, smiling small at his fellow clone.
Kaine scoffs, "You weren't shabby yourself.", before exchanging bro-fists with the dark angel that he has come to respect more.
Pandora's fate was plain to see. Ulik's fate, however, looked more mysterious. His entire body after the attack disintegrated into nothing, almost as if he was never there in the first place. This puzzles Palutena as she comments about it, 'Ulik just disappeared. Was that even the same Rock Troll King? Something about him felt…lifeless.'
"Palutena! Pit?" Spidey reminded her of their mission, back in his normal state too.
'Oh right! MJ, you're up!' Palutena retorted.
Mary Jane is teleported to the area carrying Pit's unconscious body to the Rewind Spring. "This is supposed to be hell? Looks nice." She joked.
'You only need to dip him in.' Viridi instructed the mortal.
MJ carefully lowers the angel's upper half, dipping his wings briefly before pulling him back. His burnt wings begin to glow as they return to their normal feathered white. "Hmm?" Soon after, Pit awakens and is already hopping and flipping around and laughing, "Hahaha!", before striking a pose, "Woohoohoohoo!", and then wonders where he is, "Where am I?"
"It WORKED!" Spidey exclaimed joyously, which grabbed the revived angel's attention.
"Spidey! Everyone!" Pit smiled, shocked and really happy to see his friends again.
"Welcome back, kid." Spidey retorted, with everyone gathering around to celebrate Pit's revival. Everyone except for Scarlet Spider and Dark Pit, both who continue their roles as apathetic anti-heroes that prefer cross-armed solitude.
An indifferent scoff from Scarlet caught Pit's attention, who notices, "Pittoo?!", which prompts his clone to run off the ledge in an attempt to fly away. However, due to the absence of Pandora's powers, he falls instead.
'He can't fly anymore.' Palutena said casually.
'Fine, fine. I'll get him.' Viridi retorted while teleporting the dark angel away.
"Lady Palutena! Lady Palutena!" Pit happily calls out her name whilst looking to the sky.
'Welcome back, Pit.' Palutena responded, sharing the same enthusiasm while her light shines down over the reunited heroes.
"I missed you so much!" Pit expressed.
'I missed you too. Let's go home.' Palutena shared the heartwarming sentiment before whisking them away as well. Blissfully unaware that Asgard has fallen to nightmare.

KFX Here: It's the beginning of the end of God Mission RX. Asgard has fallen, and the remaining realms will follow suit as the mysteries of the Nightmare Stone unfold. I should've pointed this out in the last chapter but I forgot, but Dark Super Sonic's design was inspired by Reala from the NiGHTS into Dreams series. An intentional contrast to Sonic's Dreamcaster Form, which was inspired by NiGHTS from the same series.
