Ok, I really had to write this scene. I just love lesbian percabeth

"Shut up, Seaweed Brain. Just hold me for a while."

They sat together, cuddling. Thoughts churned in Percy's head. She glanced at Annabeth, who seemed to be drifting back to sleep. Should she tell her?

"What's wrong?"

Percy looked back to Annabeth. She still looked sleepy, but she was alert, her eyes searching Percy's face, as if trying to read her mind.

"Nothing's wrong."

"I know that look, Percy. Something's bothering you."

"I don't know if I want to say."

Annabeth frowned. "You can trust me."

Percy sighed. She ran her hand through Annabeth's hair.

"It started after I woke up," she finally said. "From Hera's spell, that is."

"You didn't remember anything?"

Percy nodded. "Most things. I remembered my name. I very quickly picked up that my dad was Poseidon, or Neptune, as everyone there called him."

Annabeth nodded. "Jason remembered his name too. And it didn't take very long for him to figure out his father., either."

"Well there was one more thing I remembered. You."

Annabeth raised an eyebrow. "You could remember me?"

Percy nodded. "I could remember your face, your name. Sometimes something would just remind me of you, and I could remember some detail about you all of sudden."

"Not even Hera could make you forget me."

Percy shrugged. "I think she just figured she could leverage those memories specifically to manipulate me."

"I see."

"Still… it kept me going, being able to remember you."

Annabeth simply kissed her in response to that.

After Annabeth pulled away, Percy took a deep breath. She could tell her. This was Annabeth, she could trust her with anything.

"There is another thing."

"Yeah? What, could you remember Grover too?"

Percy should her head. "No, but some faun named Don could sense the empathy link apparently."

"Then what-"

"I'm a girl," Percy interrupted.

Annabeth stared at her. "You're a… what?"

"I'm a girl," Percy said again. "When I had lost most of my memories, I was more easily able to realize that… and well… I eventually remembered something about being transgender, and was like, 'oh, this sounds like me,' and then… yeah." Percy was rambling a bit by the end. She looked down through the glass bay doors in the bottom of the ship.

"Hey," Annabeth tilted Percy's head back to face her. "Who the Hades cares. Boyfriend or girlfriend, you're mine, and something like this isn't changing anything."

Percy opened her mouth to respond, but then snapped it closed.

"I mean… I was surprised, sure… but at the same time… you're still Percy. Still that same brave girl I met when I was 12."

"You just… you accept me? Just like that?"

Annabeth nodded. "You aren't the first trans person I've ever befriended."

"Wait, what? Who-"

"Thalia. And she's the only one who is ok with me telling you that."

"There's more?"

Annabeth nodded. "Of course."

Percy digested that information. There were others like her at camp?

Annabeth leaned over and kissed her again. "My girlfriend."

Percy blushed. "Your girlfriend."

The two girls quickly drifted off to sleep after that.

When they woke, sunlight was shining through the glass floor, and a boy's voice said, "oh… you are in so much trouble."
