Melascula flown off away from the village, crying. Everything hurt and she just wanted to get away. She didn't care how or how far. Time passed and she had grown tired and stopped by a river. She had sat down at a stone, not saying a word while trying to clear her mind. She made multiple attempts to see her actual face in the stream but she was too afraid to even look.

"How could this happen? A Chaos Sorceress reduced to this?!" She thought to herself. "It seems you've having a difficult time, Melascula." A voice she could hear behind. She sharply turned to see a man behind her. He was a very slim figure, covered by a robe with odd scriptures scattered around it. His face was simply unsettling with red eyes you swear could glow and a smile so ominously big. "How long have you been there?!" She asked. "Long enough to get a clear picture on your current mental state." He stated clearly. "What are you...wait, did you see.." Melascula said before being interrupted with the stranger's remark, "Every last detail."

"...Who are you?" She asked. "I am C." C said. Melascula had enough of this stranger and turned away from him. "Look, whoever you are, leave me alone." Melascula insisted. As soon his view was out of her sight with the turn, he had appeared right in front of her. "Why?" He asked. "Aah!" She squealed, falling back. "Don't do that! What do you want with me?" She yelled. "Just to ask you a question." He said. Melascula was dumbfounded. This creep had probably followed her all this way to ask her a question?! And he knows about what had just happened?! Wait! From what they could see, it was just Melascula and Galand there. Where was this guy? Was he the one to bring the agonizing pain onto them? He was starting to piss her off and it had only been a few seconds.

"I'm not going to tell you again! Leave me ALONE!" She ordered, trying to turn away from him again and once again, appearing in front of her again. "Not until you answer my question!" He demanded back. The two stared at each other until Melascula backed up and sighed. "Fine, what is your necessary question!" She muttered.

"Very well,

what is your greatest fear?"

Melascula was taken aback. What a simple question! She began laughing. "Hoho, to think I, a twelve year Chaos Sorceress, would take you seriously and expect something at least vital." She bursted. "Like how the Demon king did the same for you?" He asked. She stopped laughing and stared at him again, not with anger but confusion. "What are you talking about?" She asked. From the distance, a sudden roar could then be heard. To Melascula, it was recognizable. "Galand?" She called. "Hm, it seems Arthur's enlightened him already." C stated, slightly smirking. Melascula began flying in Galand's direction until C stopped her again, flying on his own also. "Hey hey, I'm not done with you yet." He said quietly. "Well I'm done with you, farewell!" She said, leaving him again to once again have him appear in front of her."

"What makes you think you're in charge here?" He asked. He then backed away and through a punch at her face, sending her flying in high speed. She then hardly hit the ground and tumbled until finally stopping. "I ask you not to try that again, I don't prefer violence to a simple chat." He said. She picked herself up, covering the right side of her face which was where he hit. She was absolutely furious but before she would start screaming, her attention was caught by her surroundings. It was a dark environment with the smell of Miasma flowing. "Do you remember this place?" C asked. "Vaguely..." She said. "Welcome back to the demon realm, Mela." He exclaimed.

"The demon realm?!" She muttered. C noticed this and he knew he was examining her. "What's the point of this? Why are we here?" She demanded. She was about to continue on until a figure flew between the two of them. It was a little child with pink hair and a white body suit. "Oh look, a child." C pointed out. "I can perfectly see that.." Melascula retorted. "But not just any...it's you!" He explained. Melascula turned towards the child in shock. "Me?!" She asked. "Yes." He answered simply. "Yes?! Explain this now!" She yelled.

"What Galand presumed was true. The dreams were not dreams at all but memories flowing in the shadows." C explained. "So it is true then? The twelve years I've lived here and my "life" up until this point has been a lie?!" She asked. "Don't you dare act surprised! You had your doubts from the beginning, I've seen it!" C yelled, pointing at her. "So what if I had?! Twelve years I've been an entirely different person, hating the race I've came from." She said. "But if you knew something was amiss, why did you never ask or look into it? Unless...there's something you don't want to remember."

The two then felt a presence above them. A dark, murderous feeling only those who thrive in the darkness could emit. They looked up to see... him.

"Look familiar, Mela?" He asked. "Meliodas..." She muttered. "And, oh, the look on your face." He said, turning their attention towards little Melascula. "Such admiration, such joy, such.." He continued until Melascula suddenly bursted out with "Now hold on!". "Ah! Touched a nerve, I see." He observed. "Ugh! I was a fool, ok? It means absolutely nothing now." She said. "...not quite." He said.

The environment changed again with everything seeming to be moving forward in a flash like the two were going through time. They could then hear slight hysteria coming from the near left. "What's going on now?" She asked. "The worst day of your life." He answered.

Melascula was taken aback. The worst da...no...NO! Melascula knew what was coming and most likely, C knew it too. "How could he?!" Galand could be heard yelling in fuming rage. The two could see a group hearing the news. "Are they..." Melascula began. "The Ten Commandments."

"Don't worry Galand, he's gonna pay!" The Blonde demon, Derieri assured, sharing Galand's rage. "He couldn't even just leave! He had to go murder my brother and Aranak! Mark my words! Meliodas will die! I don't care where, how, or who's gonna do it but he will perish for what he's done." He stated, ignoring his commandment. "Galand! I know how you feel but you just promised something you have no idea will come true." Monspeet warned. "I don't need to worry cause IT'S GONNA HAPPEN!" Galand said, storming off. It was then Melascula noticed herself by the crowd, silent. She could read the expressions clearly.

"You're awfully silent. I thought you'd have more to say for such a traitor like Meliodas." C taunted but Melascula wasn't listening. She didn't want to anymore. "Look, I'm done with this, take me back." She said, wanting to get away. "Why? Afraid to accept you weren't good enough for him?" He stated with a cold stare. "You don't know anything about me! Take me back right now!" She ordered.

The environment turned dark, pitch black like when she and Galand were tortured. She looked around to see this and when she turned back at C, his body had then changed. He had looked more beastly and aggressive. "Why put up such a fight, demon?! You lost him! Admit it!" He demanded, walking towards her. Melascula had enough. She prepared a spell but nothing came out. Her magic had suddenly ceased. "I never needed him! I'm one of the Ten Commandments!" She bursted, failing to move. She had started to fear C, his true colors had seemed to reveal itself. "Haha! What makes you think he wouldn't have someone else fill your role if you never existed?" He exclaimed, smiling wider. "...what?" She muttered.

"Even after you escaped from the seal, battle after battle, you were a mere nuisance to your comrades, immediately taken out. You complete failure!" He yelled, his pitch sounded more demonic. "Shut up!" Melascula yelled back. "Your own body was an attempt of making yourself appealing to him. You wouldn't have wanted him to think of you as a freak, wouldn't you?!" He asked. "I SAID SHUT UP!" She yelled desperately. "YOU'RE NOTHING!" He screamed, grabbing her.

In fear and in desperation, she closed her eyes and screamed loudly. She could feel him letting go of her and she fell to the ground, then bawling her eyes out. She layed there and and sobbed for what felt like hours. Once she could open her eyes again, she saw C. Back to how he was before the journey they went on, he stood there with the same wicked grin. "At last, I have my answer. Farewell, Melascula."
