Pit: I'm Pit, servant of the goddess Palutena! A lot happened while I was out. My friends went to the Rewind Spring to heal me. They had a surprise fight with Pandora and a Troll. And did I mention Loki invaded Asgard? Yeaaaah, I definitely missed a lot. Well, I'm back! Time to settle things with the evil god duo once and for all!

Issue 26: Hades's Inside Story

Palutena's Temple, Skyworld.

"Three Sacred Treasures?" Spider-Man asked.

"Here!" Pit answered, holding the Sacred Casket containing his ultimate weapons.

"Norn Stones?"

"Here!" The trio of Sonic, Weiss, and Lucina responded whilst unveiling their respective Super Norn Stones.

"Dream Stone?"

"You have it." Weiss reminded her spider-leader with a cold glance.

"Right. Goblin Robo Warriors?"

"Fully upgraded with the best countermeasures against evil gods!" New Goblin answered, gesturing to his small robot army.

"Cheerleaders?"

"Right here!" Both Mary Jane and Palutena happily raised their hands and smiling beside the stoic Nick Fury.

"Kaine losing his patience?"

"Right on schedule." Tiki responded, giving a teasing glance at the spider-clone that is about to explode with rage.

"Enough wasting time! Let's hurry up to Asgard already! I have other things to do than listen to you babble!" Scarlet Spider shouted angrily at his brother, as the Goddess Avengers Alliance is nearly done prepping themselves for their epic showdowns with the Trickster Gods.

"Never heard you so eager to help people. You've gone soft." Spidey teased his clone.

"Oh please. I just don't wanna miss out on a good fight." Kaine snarked.

"You're never happy unless you're fighting someone." Peter quipped.

"You say that like it's a bad thing." Kaine sassed back, which gets an adorable giggle out of Palutena since she made a similar statement about Dark Pit a while ago.

BGM-Thor (2011) OST-Sons of Odin

"Sorry to interrupt, heroes, but…" A sudden Centurion flies into the War Room with an important report for the curious heroes, "A portal just appeared outside."

"Really? Gotta check this out!" Pit retorted, intrigued by this surprising development.

All heroes exit the temple to spot a large mystical portal of unknown power has opened in the sky. "Are we under attack?" Lucina questioned.

"It doesn't feel like it." Palutena answered, with an intent stare to gather a better sense of its origin, "This presence is divine. It…It feels nostalgic."

Right on cue are five gods flying out of the portal in mystical modes of transportation. A swordsman in dignified clothing. A mace wielder with a horned helmet. A warrior wearing a voluminous shirt. These three male warriors are riding their own chariot pulled by a pair of flying goats. And then there are the beautiful ladies sharing a pegasus, one warrioress dressed in red attire, and the other is the most important god of them all considering she's outfitted in golden divine armor.

"H-Hold up a sec…! That's Sif! And I think that's Thor's Mom. Those are the Asgardians!" Spidey recognized them but forgetting about the Warriors Three, consisting of Fandral the Dashing, Hogun the Grim, and Volstagg the Svelte.

"What?!" Pit retorted, sharing the same utterly surprised look as the rest of his friends, except Fury.

"About time." Fury acknowledged their arrival with his usual poker face.

"You knew they were coming?" Spidey realized.

"We established contact during the Asgard battle. Told 'em where we should meet if things get too hairy." Fury revealed to the team.

"It has been centuries since I last set foot on Skyworld. Though I am certain it was never this filthy." said Lady Sif, the Asgardian Goddess of War while parking her pegasus on the ground. "You need to take better care of your realm, Palutena." She greeted her old friend with a little smiling joke.

"I'm working on it. I haven't been myself these past few years." Palutena quipped, recalling her terrible experience under the Chaos Kin's control. Upon reuniting with her childhood friends, the Goddess of Light goes to embrace All-Mother Freyja with a smiling hug saying, "Lady Freyja, I am so happy to see you again after all this time."

"Same, child." Freyja returned the gesture, "I see you have grown into a beautiful queen."

"Emphasis on the beautiful." Fandral flirted with the light goddess.

"Not now, Fandral." Hogun calmly silenced him.

"Just like old times!" Volstagg laughed heartily.

"Sup, Asgardians! We were just about to pay ya a visit." Sonic greeted the otherworldly deities as the mortal heroes approach them.

"Crazy. Never thought I'd meet more Asgardians." Pit smiled.

"Who is this angel?" The curious Freyja asked the young Goddess of Light.

"His name is Pit. He is the captain of my royal guard." Palutena introduced her best friend to her old friend.

"Hi!" Pit greeted alongside reaching for a polite handshake.

"Nice to meet you, Pit. I sense you are a warrior as capable as the Angels we Asgardians wared with eons ago." Freyja complimented the young angel.

"Oh. That's nice, I think." Pit replied sheepishly, unsure if she was comparing him to evil angels.

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Asgardian Afterlife

"If you all retreated here, then I assume the worst has happened." Fury chimes in with a more serious topic that they need to discuss right away.

"Sadly. Asgard…has fallen." Sif frowned, much to the shocked looks of the heroes as she continues, "We fought our best, but enemy forces were powerful and endless. All who didn't flee are now prisoners in their own city. Including the All-Father."

"Loki beat Odin?! But I thought Odin was, like, the strongest god in existence that can topple galaxies!" Spidey retorted.

"My husband does love to boast…" Freyja quipped, "But yes. My son defeated his own father in combat that nearly tore the whole realm asunder. With Odin defeated and deep in the Odinsleep, the Golden City has been sieged, just as prophesized."

"The Divine Shadow." Palutena realized grimly.

"I see Skyworld has also met its fate." Freyja noticed the realm is under reconstruction by the Centurions after the Chaos Kin incident.

"I am sorry I failed." Palutena apologized, feeling guilty.

"Do not apologize, my dear. I know you did your best." Freyja comforted the Skyworlder, "And there is still time to save all our realms from being consumed by the rising darkness."

"Which is Hades by the way." Spidey chimed in.

"We must act quickly. Alfheim and Nidavellir have too fallen in addition to Jotunheim and Svartalfheim. Soon the Underworld will engage the Fire Demons for control of Muspelheim." Freyja revealed to her growing party of allies.

"I recently picked up strange dimensional anomalies that originated from Asgard. Do you know what is causing them?" Fury asked the Asgardian Queen.

"Yggdrasill, the World Tree." Freyja answered sternly, "Loki has corrupted it with his Nightmare Stone. Its dark venom spreads throughout the realms, entrapping them in a darkness that increases his already unimaginable power and making them ripe for Hades's conquest."

"What exactly is the Nightmare Stone capable of? We know little of it." Tiki asked her next.

Stepping up to answer the divine dragon, Sif replies, "From what Heimdall spoke before his capture, the Nightmare Stone is able to conjure projections of reality that are indistinguishable from actual reality. It makes you see and feel something where nothing exists."

"So basically augmented reality, when another reality is laid on top of another." Spidey summarized using scientific terms.

"That's hard to believe." MJ commented.

"Not much different from how the Dream Stone works. They're the Sibling Stones of the Exo Stones." Weiss responded.

"I thought the Ulik we faced was different. He was nothing but an illusion. A living nightmare. And it is spreading like a plague throughout our two universes because of Yggdrasill. We must stop it before the infection is complete!" Palutena commented, now understanding the secret of the Nightmare Stone.

BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST-Strategy

"Where is Thor? Without Odin, he is our only hope to defeat Loki!" Volstagg said.

"Unfortunately, we lost contact with him. Last we chat, he was on an important mission in space. No doubt now, Loki must be responsible for his delay." Fury informed the party.

"Then we must search for him swiftly! We must find my son!" Freyja retorted, motherly concerned for her child.

"Leave the search and rescue to the Guardians of the Galaxy. If anyone can find your boy, it's them." Fury assured her. "Until Thor is found, Loki is off-limits! He's too powerful for us to take on! We're better off taking the fight to Hades while he's busy conquering the Nine Realms! Defeating the Divine Shadow should put a stop to this prophecy!" He ordered the alliance.

Freyja nods, "Aye. A good strategy."

"Scarlet Spider. Tiki. Watson. The three of you are coming with me back to New York. I need to get SHIELD prepped in case the Underworld shows up." Fury ordered, looking at those three specifically.

"Awww, can't MJ stay here? She and I were starting to get to know each other." asked Palutena, happily smiling alongside her new favorite mortal.

"It's not all the time I become best friends with a god." MJ quipped.

The begrudging Fury grunts, "Fine.", before glancing at Scarlet and Tiki, "You two are still coming. I'll need you on the front lines."

"We will not let you down, Colonel!" Tiki saluted, while Kaine just scoffs with cross-armed indifference.

Tiki opens an Outrealm Portal that will return them to Nexus Earth. As Scarlet is following his little group to the portal, he is stopped by Spider-Man telling him, "Take care of New York while I'm gone!"

"Fine. Just hurry up and beat those god bastards." Scarlet turns his head around for this one moment, glaring at his brother to sternly tell him, "Show them the true power of mortals."

Scoffing out a smile behind his mask, Spidey retorts, "You got it!", while giving his clone an enthusiastic thumbs-up.

"Hmph." Scarlet scoffed, smiling a little behind his own mask before returning to his home dimension, leaving his friends, mortal and god alike, to focus on their task to take Hades down.

Shortly After…

"Equipped again!" Pit exclaimed after kicking open the Sacred Casket, reequipping himself with the Three Sacred Treasures.

"Armor Up!" Spider-Man shouted, outfitted with his Iron Spider Armor.

"God Avenger Style!" Sonic expressed, posing alongside Weiss and Lucina after they used their Norn Stones to assume their God Forms.

"Let's get down to business!" New Goblin proclaimed, hopping onto his Sky Stick whilst ready to lead his Goblin Robo Warriors.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Lord of the Underworld

"ONWARD!" Sif cried out fiercely, with herself mounted on her pegasus and the Warriors Three about to ride their flying chariots.

All unified heroes leap through the teleporter door and soar through Underworld skies at determined speeds, raring to finally challenge Hades. 'It's finally time for you to square off against Hades. Are you ready?' Palutena telepathically asked the team.

"I am SO ready! I carbo-loaded and everything!" Pit retorted confidently.

'Great!' Palutena smiled.

"Look at you as leader and not the damsel always rescued by Thor." Sif teased her friendly rival.

'Gotta love growing up. You should try it sometime.' Palutena snarked, which elicit a grinning scoff from the warrior goddess.

'Palutena, Watson, and I will remain in Skyworld as your support. Good luck.' Freyja told them.

'Hades has overstepped his boundaries by exploiting and desecrating souls. He's disrupted the balance between the earth, the heavens, the Underworld, and the dimensions. He must be stopped. YOU ALL must stop him. It's a tall order, but if anyone can do it, I have faith that you can!' Palutena encouraged her friends to stop Hades no matter the cost.

"Leave it to us!" Fandral responded.

"In the name of the heavens, the earth, the humans, and the souls bound for the afterlife…We WILL defeat Hades!" Pit vowed with mighty fortitude.

'Get 'im, guys!' Mary Jane cheered.

"With pleasure!" Iron Spider retorted before speeding himself up alongside his friends.

The Alliance between mortal and god has never been so powerful now that it includes the mightiest warriors of Asgard. Fandral and his fabled Fimbuldraugr sword makes quick work of an Underworld horde with charmingly dashing strikes. Hogun and his iron Hridgandr mace that smashes the biggest Underworlders to falling paste. Volstagg and his fearsome Brandrheid Undrsigr blade that only a big guy like him can use to decimate his powerful enemies. And then there is Sif, wielding an enchanted sword that can cleave rifts between dimensions and fire insanely devastating energy blasts that annihilates dozens of demons in one shot. Hades better watch himself. This God Alliance is playing for keeps.

"You mortal warriors wield the Norn Stones well." complimented Hogun, watching the God Avenger trio massacring a massive enemy swarm with the easiest of ease.

"Thank you." God Lucina smiled.

Upon flying down through a ravine, Pit questions, "You lived here for a while, Goblin. Where's his castle?"

"Hades doesn't have one." Harry answered.

"What?! The lord of the Underworld can't even afford a roof over his head?" Pit quipped while wiping out monsters with rapidfire light arrows.

"No, it's not like that. This is HIS realm, so he could be anywhere in this darkness. Or everywhere." Harry informed him.

"Then…what's the plan?" Pit wondered.

"Just stay alert, angel. I can sense Hades's presence surrounding us." Sif advised him.

"Great intel. Think you could be a bit more specific?" God Sonic snarked.

What started out as a decently lit ravine becomes a creepy void where nothing but darkness awaits the heroes. It's quiet. Too quiet. And just as Peter shouts from his head tingling, "SPIDER-SENSE-!"

"HELLO THERE!" Hades suddenly appears before the unified heroes, delivering a punch that sends them all flying. "I'VE BEEN SO LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR ARRIVAL, PITTY PATTY AVENGIES." He announced his anticipation over their encounter.

"Hades!" The Avengers Alliance glared.

"AVENGERS!" Hades retorted.

"HADES!"

"AVENGERS!"

"HADEEEES!"

"AVENGERRRRRS!"

"It's ON!" Both parties exchanged the same intense battle cry before duking it out in a climactic showdown.

Hades is too arrogant to attack himself and just unleashes countless Underworld hordes to attack in his stead. Most of the heroes focus in fending off monsters for a moment, leaving it up to the likes of Pit, Sif, Iron Spider, and God Sonic to attack Hades directly. "This is the day you die, Divine Shadow! You will pay with your life for your ransacking of Asgard!" Sif threatened, flying around and slashing her sword across different areas of Hades's invincible body.

"YOU ASGARDIAN WOMEN LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL WHEN ANGRY AND HOMELESS!" snarked Hades, swiping the tiny god away with his claws. He then confronts God Sonic and his sudden barrage of Spin Dashes, countering with a flurry of punches that looks to be stuck in an eternal stalemate, "OOH, NOT BAD, RATS."

"That's right! You'd better watch yourself!" Sonic smirked, pushing himself to the limit to keep up with the god's insane flurries.

"He's distracted!" Spidey noticed, powering up to his Beast Out Mode while hovering beside Pit, "Let's go for a Crossover Combination! Full power!"

"Yeah!" Pit complied enthusiastically.

Bursting into a spectacular blur of motion, Iron Beast Spider can't be seen kicking through the distracted Hades from countless angles and ensnaring him in a series of holy webbing. As he does, Pit unleashes the full power of his Three Sacred Treasures, shouting, "MAXIMUM SACRED TREASURES!", and firing a sacred barrage of different bow attacks and rainy light pillars that is just so amazingly over the top that it looks gorgeous watching from a distance.

But for some ridiculous reason, Hades is not taking their hyper smashing combo seriously. Like at all. He endures it effortlessly while still spouting jokes, "OOH! DO I SPY WITH MY LITTLE EYE THE OTHER AND THE THREE SACRED TREASURES?"

"Even YOUR darkness can't hide from the light!" Pit retorted, with he and Peter still relentless in their team attack.

"NOW ISN'T THAT JUST…PRECIOUS!" In that horrific moment, Hades bursts himself free from his webbing restraints with the shockwaving force that knocks Spidey onto Pit, stunning them both in time to be blasted massively by the Dark God.

"AH-OOOOOOOOOOOOH!" Both Spider and Angel screamed in agonizing pain while being pushed away.

'SPIDER-MAN! PIT!' MJ shouted in great worry.

"NOW THAT FELT GOOD!" Hades smiled evilly.

Pit comes out of the blast, severely injured but still flying. Spider-Man would've fallen to the abyss if Harry didn't catch him with his glider. "Thanks…" Spidey said weakly, until he checks himself and realizes in a panic that not only he is out of Beast mode, but his Iron Spider suit was obliterated in the blast, "Huh?! My armor! It blew up!"

'Not the Three Sacred Treasures too!' Palutena realized that the Three Sacred Treasures were also obliterated with horrific ease.

"What?! NO!" Pit panicked.

"NOT QUITE SO TOUGH NOW, ARE YA?" Hades taunted the two depowered heroes.

'You will suffer for this, demon!' Freyja angrily threatened the dark god.

"UNLIKELY, HONEY!" Hades snarked.

"Damn, I miscalculated! I didn't know Hades was this strong! He even one-shotted your Beast Mode!" Harry told his best friend.

"We underestimated him. Nothing our backup plan couldn't fix." Spidey responded before whipping out and harnessing the cosmic energies of the Dream Stone, "Dream Stone! Exo Surge! Shadow the Hedgehog! Lend Pit and I your power!"

Two Dreamy Shadows are then summoned to the field, each zooming into Spidey and Pit to boost their power tremendously. Spidey sticks onto Harry's board, and while he's focused in dodging Hades's attacks, Peter bombards the god with Chaos Spears. Pit also lends his support, firing arrows imbued with the highly explosive power of Chaos Blast. These attacks seem to be doing some damage as Hades switches tactics, disappearing to deliver sudden teleporting strikes to each hero. Avenger. Angel. Asgardian. These are who the Underworld Lord laughs at. Goblin Robo Warriors. Their best attacks meant nothing to the god that crushes them all with just a hand.

"HAVING FUN, PITTY PATTY AVENGIES?!" Hades taunted the wounded heroes.

'Oh, put a lid on it.' Palutena retorted with annoyance.

"Aye, shut up!" Volstagg insulted.

"Or better yet, go on time out! CHAOS CONTROL!" shouted Spidey, warping spacetime to slow the giant god down to an annoying crawl.

"NOW! BLOW HIM AWAY!" Pit ordered the entire team.

In perfect sync, all heroes assault the dark god with their most ferocious attacks. From arrows to swords to webbing to bombs to maces to Spin Dashes, Hades is hit by them all and can't do anything about it until Chaos Control ends. Once time returns to normal for him, the evil deity reels for a pained moment, "YOWWWWW!", before declaring an improvised plan, "YOU KNOW WHAT, AVENGIES? YOU'RE LOOKING MIGHTY TASTY! DOWN THE HAAAAAAAAAATCH!" That plan being to consume them whole, summoning a vortex from his mouth that is starting to pull them all in.

"NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!" Pit screamed, desperately trying to save himself.

"OH THIS SUCKS!" Spidey punned, albeit unintentionally.

'Get out of there, guys!' Palutena desperately tries to pull them out, but it was in vain. The Goddess Avengers Alliance were sucked into a horror beyond hell.

Hades's Belly.

"Uh-oh…Where am I?"

Spider-Man finds himself lying down inside a strange place that feels completely disgusting. He then rises to his feet groaning, before hearing other groans and turning to find Pit, New Goblin, and Sif waking up beside him. "Is everyone okay?" He asked his friends.

"Aye." Sif answered whilst rising to her own feet.

"Don't see Weiss and the others. Think we gotten separated." New Goblin commented, noticing the rest of their friends are missing.

"Lady Palutena? Can you hear me? Lady Freyja? MJ? Hello?" Pit tried calling for their telepathic presence but received no response, "…I guess they can't hear us."

"This place is shielded. Even our standard comlinks are down." Spidey noted upon touching his earpiece, hearing only static.

"Well, we'd better start searching for our friends. Let us start by wiping out enemy forces that approach." said Sif, pointing out grotesque cellular versions of Underworld troops up ahead.

"These guys are like grosser version of Underworld monsters. Blugh!" Pit grunted in disgust.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Hades's Belly

Sif leads the charge against these Cellular monstrosities to further express how she earned the title of Unstoppable. She thrusts her enchanted sword into a monster before spinning herself like a stunning hurricane that gathers several more, annihilating them all with a single valiant strike that leaves her hungry for more action. The mortal men then join her, with Spidey sweeping demons with Web Swings, Pit shooting down more with arrows, and Goblin slashing the remaining monsters with his own sword.

'Oh, my. Don't tell me you're still alive, Pitty Patty Avengies!' Hades expressed surprise at their survival of his last attack, drawn to the havoc wreaked on his monsters.

"Hades! Where are we?" Pit asked about their current whereabouts.

'Why, in the belly of the beast, of course!' Hades answered, revealing they are residing within his stomach.

Expectedly, the heroes are totally disgusted by this news as a wide-eyed Spidey utters, "Oh, no!"

'Oh, yes!'

"I'm going to be sick." Pit exclaimed, clenching onto his stomach.

'Me, too. Well, there's more than one way to get rid of a bad chicken nugget. Maybe I should just expel you all the old-fashioned way.' Hades threatened, disgusting them further as they know exactly what he meant.

"Do that and we will DESTROY your insides!" Sif retorted with her own fierce threat.

'Can't stop now!' quipped Hades, with the ground shaking violently from his terrifying effort to kill them.

"NOOOOOOOO!" The boys screamed, hugging each other in a humorous panic.

However, the effort failed, causing an exhausted Hades to sigh, 'Whew. This is more difficult than I expected.'

"Oh, man. I am NOT going out this way. That would be the opposite of a hero's death!" Pit complained.

"Let's get outta here! Preferably to somewhere UP!" Spidey urged his ragtag team.

The uncanny team begins traveling upwards in search for their missing friends and an exit. Hades's Belly is a marvel to be disgusted by, containing rooms with large, squishy blocks that are obstructing their path to freedom. "What are these? Cells?" Pit wondered.

"Just bust through them. Any harm we do in here should harm Hades." Sif retorted whilst busting through the cells.

"You're the nerd, Spidey. How do we get outta here?" Goblin asked.

"Anatomy looks similar to humans' so far. We can get out through the nose or ears, take your pick." Spidey replied.

"Uh, neither. They're both disgusting." Goblin snarked.

"Cleaner than his bottom."

"Hope so."

Shortly after taking a green block up to another room, the party finds themselves trapped and surrounded by more Cellular Underworlders. "We're trapped!" Sif scowled.

"All right, no panicking. Just gotta focus on defeating these enemies." Pit calmed his friends by clearing his throat and exclaiming his usual battle cry. Or at least he tries to, "Cells of Hades, hear my words! And, um...see our actions! Uh...something something...We're going to rain death on you! I can't remember all the words, but that's the general gist."

'My innards have so longed to hear your battle cry. How could you forget the words?' Hades quipped.

"I didn't have time to rehearse. I've been busy fighting evil, OK?!" Pit snarked.

Couple of sword strikes and a few pumpkin bombs later, the room was cleared of enemies so the heroes could proceed through the god belly. "This gut looked smaller from the outside. Hope we're going the right way." Spidey joked.

"If only Lady Palutena was here to help us. She'd be so grossed out." Pit said.

'Unfortunately for you, I have a stomach of steel.' Hades quipped.

"So you ARE the reason why we can't communicate with our friends." Pit retorted angrily.

'And you're just lost without Palutena to do all the thinking for you, aren't you, Pitty?' Hades teased, poking fun at his dependence on the goddess of light.

"She doesn't do ALL the thinking. I have ideas too. Occasionally." Pit argued.

'Then answer me this, little angel. Why exactly are you trying to defeat me?' Hades urged him for an explanation.

"We're all responsible for maintaining a certain order in the universe. As lord of the Underworld, you know this better than anyone. But your greed has thrown everything out of order. You've overstepped your bounds by exploiting and desecrating souls. And you've disrupted the balance between the earth, the heavens, the Underworld, and the dimensions." Pit answered, trying so hard to sound impressive.

"Didn't…?" A flabbergasted Sif noticed his speech bore many similarities to the speech Palutena gave them earlier.

"Yeah." Spidey responded deadpannedly.

'I'm impressed by all the big words you used, but I didn't ask for a sermon. Did you come up with that all by yourself, or did you have some divine inspiration?' Hades mocked, having a very sneaky suspicion of the angel's plagiarism.

"Like I said, I have ideas too. Sometimes." Pit snarked, quieter and more annoyed than before.

"Hope the others are doing okay. It's pretty convoluted in here. This is definitely the weirdest place I've been to yet." Spidey sighed, wondering what his scattered friends are doing at the moment.

In the Large Intestine…

Lucina is alive, still in her God Form to survive in this disgusting junk spot she awoke in. She is cutting through full of miscellaneous junk in order to find her friends, one that she has already found and can be quite witty and flirty. "What lovely trash we discovered. Not the ideal spot to spend a date. Would you agree, milady?" joked Fandral the Dashing, assisting the princess in their venture through the large intestine.

"The sooner we find an exit, the better for the both of us." God Lucina responded stoically.

"My you are grim. Do not get me wrong, a determined woman certainly has her charms. But even during disgusting predicaments such as this, it does not hurt to smile. Leave the grimness to Hogun once we find him." Fandral quipped.

'Sounds like I have competition.' Hades suddenly chimes into the conversation, prompting the twin heroes to uptake fighting stances.

"Hades! Release us all from this prison, you devil!" God Lucina threatened angrily.

'Tried to, sweetie, but all I did was give myself a stomachache. Besides, you can't leave just yet. Some of you have friends that have been dying to give you a proper goodbye.' Hades quipped, 'Here comes one now.'

Swiftly, a corridor of darkness appears before the heroes to warp in the one individual that despises Lucina the most. That person being, of course, Dark Lucina walking out of the darkness with a sadistic smile. "Two?" Fandral questioned with a confused look.

"Dark Lucina. Still alive?" Lucina confronted her counterpart.

"Obviously. I am as much of a survivor as you. Though Poseidon did catch me off-guard. He will soon meet his fate as the other realms we have conquered." Dark Lucina replied.

"I thought your sole purpose was to ignore other worlds' destinies for the sake of your own and its 'true future'." Lucina recalled her counterpart's twisted reason for fighting.

"The Nine Realms are a threat. They must be disposed of before they threaten mine." Dark Lucina argued.

"What of saving them? Forming friendships with them? How are THOSE not options?!" Lucina snapped.

Dark Lucina just chuckles, "What would be the point? Their destruction was foretold. They are nothing but sacrifices for peace."

"I have heard enough!" Lucina retorted, furiously striking her fighting pose against her destructive clone, "You have become nothing but evil incarnate! No different from the demon that once haunted our world! Today will be your last to draw breath!"

"Bring it on! I have been looking forward trying my new power against you!" Dark Lucina said ominously.

From an intense expressive flex that looked uncontrollable, Dark Lucina erupts with darkness that is more cosmic than ever before. This power overwhelms her, transforming her body into a dark color akin to what Nightmare Ulik looked like, enveloped in a malevolent blackish purple aura that she is enjoying with all her corrupted soul. Nightmare Lucina. The Fell Princess that will crush fate for all but her own.

"The Nightmare…" Fandral realized Loki gifted her power from the Nightmare Stone.

"Sir Fandral, support me!" God Lucina requested his assistance.

"Of course, milady!" Fandral complied wholeheartedly.

"UUURRRRRRAAAAAAAAAGH!" Sporting a darker voice that echoes throughout the belly, Nightmare Lucina runs toward her enemies for their final battle with malicious fury. God Lucina and Fandral rush towards their foe together, jumping over the massive energy wave that the dark clone unleashes before the princess of light retaliates with her own spun energy wave. Nightmare Lucina dispels the wave with a single sword slash, swiftly before Fandral clashes blades and overpowers her with side-stepping slices that are soon repelled by another energy wave that smashes the god into junk. Two more roaring energy waves are unleashed at Lucina, one which is dispelled, and the other leaped over so both Lucinas could lock Falchions. Every time they clash with all their might, energy is discharged intensely throughout the large intestine. One such earthquaking clash results in a sword-locked stalemate, with Nightmare Lucina angrily telling her counterpart, "THIS is the power that will finally protect Ylisse until the end of time! The power to conquer nightmares! I don't EVER want to live in despair again!", before throat-slamming her onto a wall.

However, a grunting God Lucina argues, "Your trauma, your paranoia, your regret not being able to protect the future. I understand those feelings painfully well, moreso than before. We have been given a second chance, yes. But, there's no good in sacrificing other lives…JUST TO PROTECT ONE OF THEM!", before brutally knocking her away. "If you don't intend to change, then I will stop you right here!" She vowed, divinely summoning her Geirskögul lance to wield alongside her Falchion.

God Lucina strikes with sharper chivalry, ramming into her living darkness with a spinning attack that combos into a devastating cross slash utilizing both weapons. Nightmare Lucina grows frustrated, backflipping onto a higher ledge to switch to her Thögn bow and firing numerous explosive arrows around her rival that blinds her with smoke. She tries taking advantage of this with a killer lunge, only for a sudden Fandral to block her attack. "Sorry, my dear!" He grinned, repelling her aback so his teammate could have the honors to finish her off.

"Dark Lucina! I know your strength better than anyone, for I am you! However…" God Lucina thrusts her weapons skyward before rushing to meet her target for a full-powered attack, "I WON'T LOSE TO THE DESPAIR IN OUR HEART!"

Swiftly, Dark Lucina switches to dual-wield her own sword and lance before performing the exact motions as her counterpart, intending to finish her with this next attack. The twin Lucinas rush at each other with furious speeds and raging roars, both blitzing the other with blinding Twin Critical Hits that was powerful enough to emit a huge shockwave that knocks down Fandral.

In the end, God Lucina collapses onto a knee in bloody pain. Nightmare Lucina, however, completely collapses onto the ground with greater blood and mortal wounds that she is seconds away from succumbing. "Haha…You beat me." Nightmare Lucina smiled weakly, "The hope within you…has grown stronger…than despair…" She complimented her counterpart's greater strength before fading into darkness forever.

But as a comforting Fandral regroups with her, as her dark self fades into nothing, Lucina makes a solemn statement, "I promise you. A peaceful future, and also a future of the past that we once failed…I will protect every world!" She vowed, standing tall, firm, and full of hope for a brighter future for all.

"It looks like there's a way forward, Avengers."

"Thanks, Lady Palutena!"

"But you have to be careful, Pit. You're too handsome to lose."

"Now that's something we can both agree on!" Pit said, having a humorous conversation between himself and his terrible impersonation of Palutena, all while the rest of his friends just give him a deadpanned stare from behind.

"He's really losing it. Poor kid." Spider-Man quipped.

"I don't blame him. You two are lucky for wearing masks. This stomach smells like Hel." Sif snarked at the New Yorkers.

"Let's keep moving, kid." New Goblin gestured to the angel, snapping him out of his little crazy phase.

"Huh?! Right!" complied Pit, following his friends deeper through the gelatinous structures of Hades's Belly.

"By the by, Sif, heard you were friends with Palutena since you were kids. How was that friendship like?" Spidey asked the lady Asgardian.

Sif smiles, "It was your typical friendship, with the occasional rivalry whenever Thor is involved. I would always beat her in sparring matches while she would annoy me with her mischief. Still, the two of us remained good friends until she and Medusa was banished from Asgard."

"Only because Odin thought Medusa was the Divine Shadow." Spidey commented.

"Medusa was understandable, but he didn't had to banish Lady Palutena too." Pit retorted, angry from Odin's paranoid decision.

"Odin did not want to take the risk. If only we had the foresight that Loki and Hades would trigger the prophecy…" Sif frowned, feeling guilty for failing to save her Skyworld friend from banishment.

Quickly after, the four-man party approaches a series of grind rails. "How are there grind rails in here?" Harry wondered, before the team hops onto them for a little fun ride through the stomach.

"Weird. I thought grind rails were, like, a gift from the gods." Pit noted.

"That's news to me." Sif retorted, never hearing of such a ridiculous divine power.

'I'm hurt. Have you forgotten that your dear friend Hades is a god too?' Hades snarked.

"But why would you help us get to our destination?! What's in it for you?!" Sif questioned the enemy.

'Such an optimist, Stunning Sif. Who's to say this grind rails goes anywhere at all?' Hades quipped.

"Uh-oh." Sif exclaimed in horror as she quickly switches to rails that won't lead her to a death hazard.

'Just relax and enjoy the ride. Wherever you go, I'm sure you'll be dead.' Hades mocked.

Whilst grinding, Harry was too late to switch rails and accidently falls toward bubbly stomach acids, "YIKES!" But gratefully, he was saved in the nick of time by his web-swinging Spider-Man friend, "Thanks, pal."

"Now we're even." Spidey replied.

'Ugh! Your friendship is making me so sick that I want to barf!' Hades snarked, 'Seriously, Bugs, how can you place so much trust in your best pal Harry?'

BGM-Transformers Devastation OST-Operation Obliteration

"What…?" The confused Peter remarked.

'Harry has tried to kill you multiple times. Something about how much he hated you.' Hades said, just to undermine their friendship.

"You and Loki were just controlling Harry with your magic!" Spidey argued.

'Oh, how wrong you are!' Hades chuckled, much to Peter's interest and Harry's stoicness as he claims, 'The magic we used merely amplified and released the darkness already present in his heart. In other words, that hatred towards you already existed, and I bet it still does. That is why Harry had only one thing on his mind while he was under our magic. And that was to kill you, Spider-Man, his own best friend! Even before your dad died, you harbored a strong hatred towards Bugs. Isn't that right, Gobby?'

For a moment, Harry stayed silence. Then, he solemnly admits, "…Yeah…I do. That's how you two were able to control me. How I believed your lies so easily."

Both Pit and Sif were shocked by this revelation. Spider-Man, however, remains stoic and silent, while Hades exclaims, 'You heard it yourself, Bugs! While you may trust your best friend, he would like nothing more than to kill you himself! That's how much he despises you! If you let your guard down around him, he may well snuff you out in your sleep!'

'Oh? I'm wrong? A little late to try and redeem yourself.' Hades quipped.

"I won't make any excuses. I'll admit that I felt hatred and jealously towards Spider-Man. He was always smarter than me and always caught the attention of Dad and MJ. That's why I tried to kill him. Over and over. But…When I put it all on the line to fight Spidey and still lost, I realized something. He risked his own life just to save me…And I risked my own life to save the one person that truly cared for me. It's because of him…that I've grown into a better man that wants to do good for the sake of others. I'll never let my hatred take me hostage and make me lose sight of the path I'm on ever again. And no matter what happens, or whoever may stand in my way, I swear, for the rest of my life…I'll ALWAYS stay true to that belief!" Harry vowed with all his resolute heart, resolving to continue fighting alongside his best friend as long as he lives.

"Harry…" Both amazed and very proud from hearing his resolve, Peter retorts, "Heh. I got you! In that case, I'll trust you, come hell or high water!"

Hades, however, grows annoyed by his little plot accidently strengthening their friendship, 'Nonsense! You're all talk! Lucky for you, Bugs's as trusting as he is stupid.'

"I'll prove that I'm not all talk! And that starts by getting out of here to defeat you and Loki!" Harry declared, more determined than ever to escape his belly.

BGM-Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix OST-The 13th Dilemma

Volstagg and a Dark Arma Gigas Grimm attack each other with a simultaneous slash that knocks the other aback. Just like in the large intestine, a fierce battle is underway within a dangerous energy chamber against a Nightmare-empowered Dark Weiss. Nightmare Weiss fires a glyph blast that is narrowly evaded by God Weiss, before the twins engage in intense close combat where they try to slash, kick, or blast each other to oblivion. One point-blank explosive collision sends the two sliding across from each other, with God Weiss slashing away all of her counterpart's various elemental blasts before lunging to lock weapons with her and exchange furious glares.

"How dare you trick Harry to your side! To the Spider that betrayed him!" Nightmare Weiss expressed unusual furious emotion over losing her boyfriend.

"Neither betrayed the other! Or are you willing to kill Blake if that possibility happened to you?" God Weiss retorted.

"I would never hurt my friends!" claimed Nightmare Weiss, right before they clash blades again.

"You are if you close your heart to them! Just because we are Schnee does NOT mean we are perfect! We should always strive to be better! Learn from our family's mistakes, not make the same!" Weiss argued, kicking back her clone.

"Do NOT lecture me how to be Schnee!" Nightmare Weiss shouted, furiously punching her lookalike across the face. "There is only one way to honor the family and that is by eliminating all of its enemies with extreme prejudice! I will prove myself the greatest in our family once your soft heart is DEAD!" She vowed, with rage blinding her thoughts and fueling the kick that sends her double flying.

Enveloping herself with an icy aura, Weiss glides forward at war-crying speeds to swerve through her clone's energy blasts before ramming her off a cliff, then alongside a mighty roar, "HAAAAAAAAAGH!", slams her down with a devastating dive kick.

Growing weak, Nightmare Weiss uses a surprise glyph to repel her double and would've followed up with a fearsome blow, if her dying Arma Gigas wasn't thrown at her back by Volstagg. "Hope you do not mind that I interrupt." Volstagg joked.

This is Weiss's chance to end this. She assaults her clone with her most brutal strikes. With every hit, her Aura weakens. With every strike, her resolve wanes. And once Nightmare Weiss is on her last legs, the superior Schnee yells, "HRAAAAAAAAGH!", and defeats her with her strongest dashing glyph slash.

Nightmare Weiss collapses onto a knee, bloodied and defeated. She barely has the strength to watch her victorious counterpart approaching her pathetic state. "K-kill me. Please. I…have failed the family…like this." She sadly begged for death.

"That's never the answer. It's the easy the way out. You think it's hard for you? There are people alone, lonely, all over the world - some with the same dysfunctional family - who don't have our money or resources. Forget about proving yourself a Schnee. We are huntresses. We owe it to those people. You're going to answer for your mistakes. And do whatever you can to make up for them. The best friends I will always cherish taught me that." Weiss lectured her defeated clone with a solemn tone that seems to be getting through to her.

'Nah. Don't think she will.' Hades quipped, casually calling down a lightning bolt that punishes his own dark commander to the screaming brink of death.

"NO!" screamed Weiss, instantly repelling the lightning bolt. But it was pointless. For once she rushed to comfort her clone, it became painfully obvious that her life has seconds left.

"Stubborn fool…That's what I am…" Nightmare Weiss berated herself.

"Shut up. Save your energy." Weiss tried comforting her in vain.

"No…Wasted it all…to become what I hated…" Nightmare Weiss coughs weakly as she's fading into darkness. Before she fades completely, she shares a final exchange of words with her counterpart, "Please…Always stand by your friends…no matter what they are…Be with Harry…Never…leave him alone…as we once…were…I will…never forgive you…if you…don't…"

Tears stream down Weiss's emotional face, replying to her dying clone with just this, "I promise."

With a content smile that expresses genuine emotion beyond stoicness, Nightmare Weiss allows herself to fade into nothing. Her counterpart is on her knees mourning her death, weeping until a concerned Volstagg asks, "Do you need another moment, Miss Schnee?"

"…No." Weiss regains her composure by wiping her tears and taking a solemn stand, "I'm…I'm fine, thank you. Let's just find our friends."

"Absolutely!" Volstagg nodded wholeheartedly.

"Hades…Loki…" As God Weiss turns around, she makes a vengeful face and a solemn vow that expresses, "I will never forgive you."

BGM-Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story OST- Stolen Koopa Castle (Inside Bowser)

'You know, Avengies…I'll miss you when you're gone.' Suddenly, Hades's arm bursts in to throw in a couple of surprise punches that juggle the heroes for a laughing moment, 'Surprised?'

"Uh, yeah. How did you just punch yourself?" An annoyed Pit asked.

"Have a painful feeling that we're not literally in Hades's Belly but an entirely different dimension that has some weird link with the godly glutton. Doesn't matter what we do here, it'll barely affect him." Spidey proclaimed, struggling to recover from the surprise attack.

"That's even weirder." New Goblin retorted.

'Aww, now you're making me feel bad. And when I feel bad…I get hungry.' Hades begins eating Underworld troops and a random assortment of structures, giving the heroes more opponents to battle.

"What is all this?!" Sif reacted with surprise, before fighting the eaten monsters.

"STOP eating things! It's bad enough that you eat souls!" Pit ordered the dark god.

'But souls are delicious. They're like bacon—they taste good on everything.' Hades snarked.

"But if you eat them, you completely remove them from existence! They can't move on or...or be reincarnated!" Pit argued.

'Huh. I never really gave it much thought. Besides, what do you mean by reincarnation anyway?' Hades questioned.

"You know, being reborn as someone or something else." Pit explained.

'Which means a different body, different memories, and different experiences, yes? So isn't being reborn as "something else" the same as being "removed from existence"?' Hades countered with a statement that leaves the heroes dumbfounded.

"I…I…" Pit is left speechless, unable to think of a good refute.

"He is…not, completely wrong." Sif said, terribly hesitant to agree with her fellow god.

"The point is, eating souls isn't right!" Spidey rebutted.

'That depends on your definition of "right." All living things survive by eating other living things.' Hades explained.

"So what? You're a god. You should be above all that and go buy God Burger King!" Spidey quipped.

'Gods ARE above living things, which doesn't necessarily mean we care about them.' Hades admitted.

"What?! I can't believe you just said that! That's it! In the name of the living, we WILL destroy you!" Pit retorted, more determined than ever to defeat the lord of the Underworld.

'Ugh, you're so boring. I really wish you'd leave. Unfortunately for you, there's only one way out.' Hades teased.

"No no no no no!" Pit vehemently rejected his gross idea.

'Cheer up. You've been PRIVY to a side of me that no one else has—my insides! And now you'll be privy to the inside of a privy too. TootleLOO!' Hades jokingly threatened them.

"OK, OK, fine. I give up. Please spare me. PLEASE!" Spidey pleaded, refusing to die in such a disgusting manner.

'Obeying the call of nature is part of the cycle of life. Tell me, Avengers, why do you hate life?' Hades snarked.

BGM-Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix OST-The 13th Struggle

God Sonic is running along walls to avoid being blasted to pieces by a Nightmare variant of the Dark Elves Ruler. Malekith the Accursed. The hedgehog has been handling himself just fine against the illusion until one blast knocks him off the wall, then another forces him to deflect the attack, then a more powerful third one knocks him back. As he recovers, his partner Hogun the Grim suddenly appears to smack the dark elf with his mace, stunning him for Sonic to knock back with a powerful Spin Dash before Malekith hides in the darkness.

"Careful. Malekith now hides in the dark." Hogun warned the god hedgehog.

"And just when we were gettin' to know each other." God Sonic quipped.

"I would have LOVED to know your other half. Dark Sonic, was his name?" snarked Nightmare Malekith, raining down double-bladed spears that pushes his foes into evading them swiftly. "Heard he conquered the entire world alone, while you and your friends struggle to save it." He mocked, suddenly crashing from the air and slamming his spear to the ground to unleash a powerful mystical explosion that sends his enemies flying across the spleen.

"You wouldn't have liked him. Dude was obnoxious. Had this crazy belief that darkness rocks and light sucks." Sonic quipped, hurtling lightning bolts at the elf.

"I say he was right." Malekith retorted, absorbing the lightning bolts and firing them back alongside dark mystic blasts.

"I say he was wrong. He realized that with his dying breath." Sonic snarked, sliding underneath his blasts to knock him back with a swift double kick to his chest. Malekith retaliates with a punch, in which Sonic counters with an axe kick, only for it to be deflected by his spear that prompts him into running around and attacking him hyperfast while doing so, "Light and darkness are equal and opposites. One can't be better without the other. We both grew stronger because of our differences. And when he sacrificed himself to save me from Loki, that is when he acknowledged me as his equal. He was more than my shadow. He died as a mortal. I respected him for that." Sonic then kicks away the elf before rushing to attack him again, "That's why I can't allow your darkness to conquer the dimensions! Light and dark is a freedom of choice! It's no fun if you make that choice for us!"

"Spare me your morals." Nightmare Malekith warps away from his attack, just to surprise him with a powerful shockwave that knocks down the hedgehog on his belly. "Shall we end this?" He mocked, preparing to deliver the final blow with his spear.

"Brilliant idea." Suddenly, Hogun ambushes the elf with a heavy swing on his back that leaves him wide open for a finishing blow from Sonic's godly Spin Dash that smashes him onto a wall.

Nightmare Malekith is no more as he disintegrates into nonexistence. Both God Sonic and Hogun take a breather, spending some time stretching their legs until they were greeted by the welcoming pairs of Weiss and Volstagg and Lucina and Fandral. "Sonic! There you are!" God Weiss smiled.

"There ya guys are. Was lookin' for ya." God Sonic smiled back.

"Apologies. We were held up by the remaining Dark Avengers." God Lucina informed him.

"Had to beat 'em, huh. You two feelin' okay?" Sonic frowned, knowing from personal experience that defeating your dark self is weird to say the least.

"We're fine. It was…relieving, in a way." Lucina admitted with a little smile, with her and Weiss feeling like they have finally made peace with the darkness in their hearts.

"Good to hear." Sonic smiled, feeling proud of them.

"All of us are together again except for Lady Sif, the angel, and the two mortals." Volstagg noted.

"Where could they be?" Fandral wondered.

"When down, go up. They're probably somewhere around the heart." Sonic believed, deciding they should venture upward.

"Let's go!" Weiss commanded, with the reunited heroes hurrying to find their remaining friends.

Meanwhile with Spider-Man's Group…

"Hm? What's that?" Pit questioned, upon his group entering a room where they spot footage of Forces of Nature troops on the walls.

'Viridi can't seem to mind her own business. Pardon me, if you will. I must go entertain my guests.' Hades decided to tend to Viridi instead, leaving the heroes alone for the dangers ahead.

"Hello? If Viridi's army is attacking, they're doing it awfully quietly." Spidey commented.

"At least I'M doing something, Spidey. You're such a slacker. Ugh!" Pit quipped whilst impersonating Viridi.

"You can shut up now." Spidey ordered with a deadpan glare.

"Sorry." Pit sheepishly apologized.

The team heads through a door and enter a chamber, where they stumble across a massive, round creature standing in the center. "Are you Hades's heart?" Pit questioned.

"At least as close to a 'heart' as he could have." Sif snarked.

Upon noticing them, Hades's Heart jumps and runs off while Pit shouts, "Wait! Come back here!", as the heroes are ready to do battle with it.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Boss Fight 1

"I guess we'd better catch it and give Hades a heart attack. Might blow open a hole for us to escape." New Goblin suggested as they give chase to the creature.

"It's actually pretty cute." Spidey commented.

"Especially when you compare it to his bowels." Harry quipped.

The Heart of Hades seems to love running around wildly, using the many walls of the battlefield to allude the heroes. Its strategy doesn't last long against their teamwork, with all the male heroes managing to block its exits just to trap it for ground-shattering slashes from Sif. That assault enraged the heart to envelop itself with an invincible red aura and storm off, trampling over Sif in the process.

"It moves and acts like it has a mind of its own." Sif grunted while recovering.

Spidey screams while fleeing from the rampaging heart, leading it to be tripped by Harry's explosive pumpkin bombs that also dispel its invincible aura. "Does this thing pump blood or souls? Can't tell. Think I'm gonna study God Anatomy next semester, folks." Spidey joked, delivering a ferocious stomp that agitates the monster into producing a clone that explodes and blows away the webslinger.

"I thought using souls to create monsters was evil…But at least those souls are being used in some other life." Pit said, using his Viridi Palm to fire homing shots over walls that definitely help in harming the heart, "Hades, Loki, and the Underworld have taken this too far. I don't care if they're fulfilling some stupid prophecy. They've stolen so many souls that they're disrupting the proper balance of things. It's just like what Viridi says about humans disrupting the balance of nature. But it's worse than that because the Trickster Gods threaten the earth, dimensions, AND the heavens! They have to be stopped!"

"Aye! And the only ones who can stop them are the combined forces of Asgard, Skyworld, and Midgard!" Sif wholeheartedly agreed with the angel's resolve, "HAVE AT THEE!", before firing a powerful sword beam that smashes the heart onto a wall.

"Aw, that adorable little heart is so cute! You have to admit, it can really bust a move." Pit pointed out its wild running, "Seems almost wrong to destroy it."

"Just get ahead of it." Sif retorted deadpannedly.

Pit complies to the Asgardian Goddess and fires dashing charged shots at the heart's face, severely wounding it. It turns around to retreat, only to be quickly met with Spidey's giant webbed fist that smacks it down to the ground. Again, Hades's Heart wants to flee and is denied by Spidey's webbing pinning it down, leaving it open for its terrifying destruction by the twin swords of Sif and Goblin. Both war-crying warriors put all their might into stabbing the heart, ending its lunacy for good.

"Your heart wasn't even in it!" Pit punned victoriously.

"Just talkin' to yourself or are the others with you?" Suddenly, the quippy Sonic and his party runs into the boss chamber just after Pit's group defeated the Heart of Hades. "Nope. The gang's all here." He smiled, sharing a fist bump with Spider-Man.

"Now we can all die together." Spidey snarked.

With Hades's Heart defeated, the creature explodes and sends the reunited heroes flying into the air screaming, "WHOO-OA-OA-OA-OA!"

But also suddenly, Dark Pit zips by in the Lightning Chariot, grabbing everyone out of the air and using the vehicle to burst out of Hades's chest. "If it weren't for that explosion, I never would've found you guys." Pittoo told his rescued allies that could barely fit the chariot.

"I'm sure glad you did!" Pit smiled, expressing grateful relief.

'It's good to see you, team!' Palutena welcomed them back.

'You had us worried!' Freyja said.

"THAT WASN'T VERY NICE!" Hades reaches out and attempts to capture the chariot in his head, but the goddess of light quickly extracts them from the realm.

'Goodbye, Hades!' Palutena quipped.

Now alone with no dead bodies in his hand, Hades remarks on the whole experience, "THAT REALLY HURT." Then optimistically strikes a pose, "BUT HEY…AT LEAST I'M NOT DEAD."

KFX Here: The Gods of Asgard finally join the party as the final battle with the Trickster Gods grows near. The Dark Avengers have disassembled. Their sub-plot is kaput. Just three more chapters (plus an epilogue) before I wrap up this remake.
