Writing this one at one of my fan's suggestion. Fruityfranksimp, ur an amazing person.

Also, I have no idea how courtrooms work, so Ima make this up.

DeLaynie's POV

It was the day. The day we had the trial to determine what happened with the Lolonoi family fortune. And see if principal Lolonoi was guilty or not. Mr. Kane came with me for moral support. I was rolled into the courthouse, and Mr. Kane told a guard to take me to another room to do the testimony from a safe distance, as I needed that. The lawyer went with Mr. Kane into the courtroom.

Should describe her: my lawyer's name was Yuzuriha Franklin. She was a daughter of the justice titan, who's name I often forget. Yuzuriha was blue haired, but was highly intelligent, and knew the law like it was a children's book. I also had an attorney called Zya. Zya was a smart, on the books court worker who knew the gravity of what the school had done.

I was taken into the room by a court guard by the name of Brynhilda. The lady wasn't fat, but I had to admit she was huge in a different sense. She rolled me down the hall, as I was still paralyzed from the neck down. I watched the floor for a minute. I was still a nervous wreck, as I knew that the mortals were absolutely garbage at wishing out justice properly. Were demigods the same way?

Then the trial started to commence. The plan was that I was going to give my testimony then join my lawyer, attorney and Mr. Kane back in the courtroom, as the man on trial may have been dead, but he was legally obligated to have an attorney represent for him, and the attorney was known for aggressive tendencies. No lawyer, as it was harder to get someone willing to represent him.

My wheelchair was pushed into the room. It was small, but enough for two guards to protect me easily. I sat in front of a laptop. They opened it, and I was told to start my testimony, which I did happily. I explained everything that happened, from start to finish, the judge listening carefully. The Judge was named Samuel Finch, and he was a descendant of Pluto, so he could manipulate metal.

When I got to the part where Principal Lolonoi left me out of the locker when the storm hit, the other attorney, the one repping Principal Lolonoi, he screamed I was a liar, that there was no way he could do that.

The judge quickly summoned order to the court. We soon learned he saw no wrong in what that evil principal did, and actually supported him in his actions. That sent the courtroom into silence.

The judge ordered a recess so we could have a break. I was scared. That attorney wanted to say that the guy he was repping was a good person, and it was scary to think about.

Once we were out of the courtroom, Mr. Kane promised me he wouldn't let that idiot hurt me. I hoped he wasn't kidding, as my trust that adults were at all competent was already out the window.

Once we went back in, Mr. Kane kept me as close to him as possible. The trial got loud really fast. Thankfully, my attorney thought ahead, giving me headphones.

It helped, but it didn't block everything out. Footage of the event was played, and we swiftly saw him purposefully shove me right as the roof caved in.

That was when all Helheim broke loose.

The attorney went nuts and launched himself at me. Thankfully, the judge was able to manipulate some metal into his chest. Mr. Kane thrust me behind him. Within seconds the bad attorney was thrown out, and the jury went to decide the verdict.

Me and Mr. Kane sat for a minute, with me bursting into tears. I was so scared by the event. I felt his hands pulling me into his lap. I held onto him tightly, letting all my emotions spill out.

The Judge gave me a hug, and gave me a snack, while we waited.

Then we got the verdict.

"Principal Lolonoi is guilty of all charges. 75% of his money and property will go to DeLaynie Finchwater. The rest will go to charity. Case closed." The Judge said.

I sighed with relief. Mr. Kane took me back to the hospital.

I fell asleep on the way, holding his arm.
