Ash was archiving the success of his students, as they had finished their first assignment and passed it with flying colors. "If this keeps up, they may become stronger than me someday" Ash pondered as he logged what his students had achieved into his journal. After that task was done, he approached his recently captured Fuecoco, whom had a curious look on him.
"Ok Fuecoco, today we will start you with some endurance training, that way you can keep up with the others" Ash said. Fuecoco hopped up and down, eager to get stronger, Ash smiled at the sight of the young fire type's enthusiasm. "I can tell that you will become stronger in no time with that kind of attitude, Incineroar!" Fuecoco turned around to see a large muscular tiger staring down, giving Fuecoco a fright and keeling over. "Oh come on Fuecoco, that sort of trick won't work on me" Ash sighed as he remembered the many times Oshawott tried to chicken out of a fight that he was selected for.
"Fine, have it your way, you won't get stronger after all" That was when Fuecoco shot back up, angrily shouting at Ash for tricking him like that "Heh, works every time." Ash then had Incineroar endure all of Fuecoco's attacks, which was a breeze for the bipedal tiger, with Embers and Snarls barely doing anything, and that eventually wore Fuecoco out. "That should be enough for now Fuecoco, you can take a break" Ash said, but Fuecoco shook his head, refusing to give up as he continued to fire more Embers at Incineroar "Now that's the attitude I want him to show."
Eventually, Ash and his group were all gathered at Inlet Grotto to admire the sunset in front of them. "Wow, so this is the kind of view I get when I go outside?" Penny gasped as she admired the beautiful event "I could get used to traveling like you Ash" Gus said as he was letting his new Capsakid out. "Well, I've been doing this sort of thing ever since I was 10, so this has become second nature to me" Ash replied as he munched on his sandwich.
As they Pokemon played at the shore however, Dondozo saw something in the sky, or rather somethings. There were two shapes flying around, but they appear to be losing turbulence. "Don! Dondozo" Dondozo cried out, and this got the others' attention.
"What is it Dondozo?" Carla asked, wondering what's got her Pokemon so worked up about, however, Thomas saw what Dondozo saw and he immediately panicked. "METEORS!" Thomas shouted as he ran around flailing his arms "Everyone, run for cover!." Both humans and Pokemon all ran in different directions as they managed to get out of the way of the incoming figures crashing into the shore.
"I-is it safe?!" Felia squeaked out as she peaked out of the rock she was hiding behind. When the dust settled, they saw two giant reptilian Pokemon, one red, and one purple. The red reptile looked more scaly, with white and blue scaled all over its body and a black throat pouch of sorts with a red sun mark inside. Its eyes were an amber color with a bronze sclera, and its claws were webbed.
The purple reptile looked more 'futuristic' with a more mechanical looking body, and cybernetic-esque eyes. Its throat was a neon blue color with a yellow stripe, and its legs looked like jet boosters.
"A-are they dangerous?" Zeke asked as he stood back as far as possible. Ash meanwhile, approached the two reptiles with Pikachu on edge, not knowing what the two are. The two growled at Ash, as if they are warning him to stay back, but Ash continued to approach them with caution before kneeling down to them.
"These two are injured" Ash had deduced "What makes you so sure?" Vanny asked. "Take a look here" Ash pointed to the red reptile's leg, showing it to be twisted in an unnatural way. "Oh boy, I'd hate to meet the Pokemon that could do that" Gus shuddered as Ash pulled out a couple of Hyper Potions to help relieve the pain that the two were in. After some spraying, the reptiles managed to stand up, but they still seemed weak.
"Why don't they just run away? They're all fixed up to me" Penny thought "They may feel better, but they still need some rest before they can get back up their feet on their own, I think they need to eat something." "Well, good thing I made a couple of these" Zeke then pulled out two sandwiches, which he then fed the lizards. This seems to do the trick as they began to feel better and were now getting some more energy.
"Nice thinking Zeke, but I think it's best we get them to a Pokemon Center" Ash said, "And we need to go through that cave to do so" Felia said while shuddering. With that said, the trainers all went into the grotto to get the two reptiles some help, however, they were then set upon by a bunch of wild Houndour.
"Uh oh, this looks bad!" Thomas shouted as he hid behind Vanny "We have no choice, we must fight our way through, hope you guys are ready!" Ash shouted as he sent out Pikachu and Fuecoco. Following their teacher, Vanny sent out Orthworm and Nacli, Thomas sent out Clodsire and Shroodle, Zeke sent out his Tadbulb and Capsakid,Zeke sent out his Fidough and Azurill, Felia sent out her Rellor and Vivillon, Carla sent out Dondozo and Veluza, and Penny sent out Eevee and Vaporeon.
A massive battle began with Ash having his Pikachu and Fuecoco leading the charge, firing Thunderbolts and Rounds at large groups of Houndour, while the rest had to battle on the go and keep up with their teacher's constant movements. "I never though battling could get this hectic!" Vanny shouted as her Orthworm slammed away a Houndour sent out his Iron Tail attack while Nacli managed to send back another Houndour with a Smack Down attack. "I'm not sure I can keep up over here!" Gus shouted as his Tadbulb was about to get hit with a Smog attack, only for Thomas' Clodsire to come in and took the attack.
"Thanks" Gus said to Thomas, whom replied with a "Don't mention it." Carla meanwhile was handling things rather well as her Dodonzo and Veluza's water attacks were making quick work of large amounts of Houndour. "This is getting too easy" Carla said, but she would quickly regret saying that as a large Houndoom appeared and it quickly turned the tides.
"This isn't good!" Zeke shouted out as his Azurill was taken out by a powerful Flamethrower "We need a miracle!" Penny said as her Eevee was burned by a Houndour's Ember attack. That was when the two reptiles both nodded to each other and they began to transform. "What in the world?!" Ash cried out as the reptiles became more combat ready, releasing blasts of lightning and fighting energy, which send the wild dogs back. "Wow, that was awesome!" Gus shouted, but that excitement soon died down when they collapsed. "I guess that took the fight out of them" Vanny assumed "All the more reason to get them help" Felia said as they helped with escorting the giants out of the cave.
They eventually made it out and they then came across a building that looked like a lighthouse. There, they saw a tall young man with dirty blonde hair and a backpack with various cooking utensils. Judging from his facial expressions, the man didn't seem happy one bit, especially when it saw the group. "Where have you two run off to?" He then ran up to the reptiles and proceeded to scold them. "I take my eyes away from you two for one second and you go flying off without my permission" "Hold on, you know these two?" Ash questioned. "Yes, and they can be real troublesome, the name is Arven by the way" The man, now known as Arven replied.
"So what do you know about these two?" Thomas asked, "Well, their names are Koraidon and Miraidon, and I really didn't know where they come from" Arven replied. "Well that doesn't help much" Carla replied "At least we know their names, so Arven, do you know where the nearest Pokemon Center is?" Ash said. "Sure, it's just down the path, and by the way" He then pulls out two pokeballs "These are their pokeballs, I think you'll do a better job of taking care of them." Ash then took the pokeballs and recalled the two legendaries into them. "Thanks, well, best of luck" Ash said as he and his students waved goodbye as they Arven, whom then looked down at another pokeball in his hand. "Hang in there bud, I'll fix you up, I promise."
