Two weeks had already passed by that summer in Luna Nova, many things were happening and passing by in this time, revelations were appearing, relationships were starting, in a short time this was an unforgettable summer that was just in its beginning.
The biggest gossip all week was about the beginning of Diana and Akko
's relationship, that after a long time that they know each other, the two girls finally decided to start it, since they had jumped too many steps on the ladder to get to the top, since the step was too big to start everything, with lots of love, what wasn't so bad, after all that was what brought the two together. It was the main topic for the whole week.
Around the magic classes the things had already advanced a lot, the students were learning a lot of magic, the practical classes had started and all of them were managing to perform the simple beginner spells, what already demonstrated a huge advance, the 26 future witches were loving to spend that moment of classes, they were many compliments that went to the four adult girls, until the arrival of the second weekend that would mark with another event that would cheer up all of them, mainly because it was announced right at the end of the classes with several bags present there.
The day was going on normally, the 39 girls were paying attention to the classes, then doing the practical classes and returning to the normal classes, noticing that there were several bags with some things on top of them too, what already indicated something, what would be announced at the end of the class.
What ended up arriving, right in this hour Laura starts to give the explanation for all that were already very curious.
" So lassies, I guess you're wondering what we're going to do with all this stuff, aren't you? So... You went camping with Chariot and Croix last year, this year you're not going... But wait a minute, you are not going with them, because you know Chariot is pregnant, she can't be trying too hard, soon she will have Charlotte and we have to be careful, but that doesn't mean you are not going, because Bern and I are going with you, We will make sure we keep things interesting like last year, so get your bags and go to your rooms and pack your things, this camp will have something extra.
" Ah camp, it's full of mosquitoes, we sleep on the ground, and there's only one shower for everyone, it's all precarious," Hannah said feeling sick.
" Who says we are going to camp in the same place? We're going to the most magical and hidden part of Arcturus, it's part of your magic classes, as far as bathing is concerned, we reserved a whole part with showers and separate cabins for each one " said the Irish girl.
" Ah better so, then I won't complain so much " England said.
" I think it will and a lot, your mother complained a lot when she went to those camps " Bernadette said.
" Love! Don't spoil the fun " said the redhead.
" Ah sardines, we have to be honest " said the platinum haired girl shrugging her shoulders.
With that they all left the classroom getting their bags, and walked to their rooms, getting some clothes, since they would have a lot to do in that camp, Akko was all anxious and already packing her bags, putting thing by thing, in the greatest euphoria and happiness, following what was on the list that was asked, the most basic of the basics, the others were also filling their bags.
" Come on Akko, things aren't going to fly off like that, take it easy," Lotte giggled.
" They must be so hungry for it that they can't hold back any longer," Manbavaran said, laughing.
" Hey, and for your information I'm not abstinent, I went to her room the day before yesterday, we had a wonderful time, she is amazing, spending time together made me notice that, when she talks about cars, races and all that stuff, I don't even understand anything, but I would listen to that angelic voice for hours " said the delighted Kagari.
" I knew it had to do with Diana, I want to see how it's going to be with the constant gaze of her mothers, or do you think it's that easy? Do they already know you're together? " said the pink haired one.
" You know, they talked to us about these things, we weren't told off or anything, we just had a warning to be more hygienic, to be more careful, basic stuff, they said the same to Marianne and Hellene, they know what we do, so much that it was the first thing they asked " said the Japanese shrugging and already finishing packing.
They keep talking a little bit there, finishing packing the bags, until everything was almost ready, from there they left to the meeting that would be at the yard outside Luna Nova, where some of the other girls were also, they were talking among themselves, the time was passing and each one of the 39 girls was arriving little by little, from there Laura and Bernadette arrives also using their bags, what made the girls laugh when they saw that the bag of McLaren was piled up to the point of being higher than the bag itself.
" What's so funny there? Did they tell a joke? " asks the redhead.
" Mum, the suitcase is bigger than you are, that's the funny thing, you're so short you look like a child with a huge suitcase " said Diana laughing.
" Hey, look at Irene and Sola, they are shorter than me and they are not mocking me, I am not that short, stop exaggerating, now come on, let's walk through this forest, get off your asses, use your legs, we will camp with gusto " said the Irish girl.
" Are we going to walk a lot? " Hannah asked, already raising her finger.
" Of course, it's further away than the other camp, you have to get your little bird legs moving " Laura said.
From there many of them were already frustrated, but even so they were following Diana's mothers that were leaving through the gates of Luna Nova, from there they're kind of walking through the forest inside, along with all the others that were following.
The 41 witches, besides communicating with Chariot and Croix by mobile phone, already making it clear that the others couldn't bring their mobile phones under any circumstances, and all of them really listened to the warning to the letter, walking in the middle of the dense forest.
" Ahhhh, it's already started, those fucking mosquitoes are already eating me up " England said complaining.
" I left one for each of you in your bags, there's no use complaining, it's still a long walk to the camp," said the redhead.
And it really happened, it had been 30 minutes, 50 minutes, an hour, an hour and a half, still they had not arrived, but after almost two hours of walking, the moment arrives when McLaren and Cavendish arrive near a dense part of the forest, where they magically open some branches and stems, where it opens like a portal, revealing an inner place, from there they walk a little bit further, passing through the portal.
On the other side was kind of the camp's chalet, with an architecture that matched with the nature and the fact of being inside a tree, which was quite impressive, a very tall tree, where they were walking to the window facing a huge landscape.
" What is it? Where are we? " Diana asks.
" Welcome to the domain of Lilith, the true forest of Arcturus, here you really have to be careful where you step, because you are in another dimension.
" What do you mean another dimension? Did we go through a portal to leave the earth? " asks Hellene, also shocked.
" Yes, we are not on earth anymore, they already tried before to find Lilith's domains, but it seems that it is not anywhere on earth, that's because here is only a part inside her fortress, it is not an infinite place, just warning, it creates an impression that it is, but when we fly a lot, it kind of turns around without noticing, It is very strange, the sky is also very high, but infinite is not, when you get too high you seem to be going up, but in reality it creates an illusion of that, the reality is that when you get too high you end up in a Loop, I remember trying and Bern was laughing at me because I was in this loop of going and coming back " McLaren explained.
" It is the magic present here that allows these things, well welcome to the real Arcturus " Bernadette said.
" Well at least the mosquitoes are gone," said a relieved Hannah.
" They're not even a bother, that's because our cottage is protected, but outside they still are, besides creatures, those same ones you learned in class, they're all real, manticores, cockatrizes, minotaurs, when a witch does a spell to summon creatures, she usually ends up bringing some from here " Explains the redhead again.
They all sort of got enchanted, gathered at the window, noticing that there were some gargoyles and dragons flying around in the greatest tranquility, as if it were the most natural thing in the world, besides the enormous forest, where it was possible to see a lake just as big.
" I never thought a place like this is real, I seem to live in a dream " Kagari said.

" The words... I even forgot about them, in all this tension, I had even forgotten that we have this mission " Atsuko said with her hand on her face.

First she was showing the rooms, which have beds enough for up to 50 people, and as they had 41 it was quiet, made with the structure of the tree, it was interesting how everything was combined, the mattresses were then placed, as they were rolled up in the bag of each one of the girls, then tied to unwind, as they turned into rolls.
Then they went to the bathroom, where they had well separated cabins, there were 20 cabins where each one had a sink, toilet and a shower with a spacious bathtub, there enough to fit more than one person, also with a wardrobe to keep things, which would soon be defined for each one of them and ensuring a huge privacy, since each cabin there was well reserved.
" Wow, this is much better than I expected," Diana said.
" Lilith thought of everything, not even in our Luna Nova days had something like this, this is ahead of our time too much " Laura said.
" Just a reminder here, all of this works with magic, so do not forget to invoke the spirit of heat to have hot water, especially at night, things get very cold here, also forget electricity, there is nothing here, it is only magic and pure magic, you will soon get used to it " Bernadette said.
" How long are we going to stay here? " Hellene asks.
" It's going to be a whole week, like we used to stay, it'll be fun," said the older Cavendish.
From there they went to yet another place in the cottage this time what looked like a dining hall and from there it was half empty, with some inscriptions on the wall in a rather strange language containing what looked like writing full of drawings of moons, but which the two older ones were soon just reading.
" Here you just use magic on the glyph and any food will come out of it, literally any food, look at that " Laura said summoning a slice of pizza from the glyph.
" Use your wand and mentalise something to eat, the food materialises immediately, don't go too far for Laura, she doesn't use a magic wand because she is a very specific type of witch " Bernadette said.
" I use a wand yes, I just prefer to use my spells with my hands because it has more control and I was trained that way " McLaren said.
" Is that really true? Does it mean that even ultra sophisticated food can appear? Anything can be made into that? " Asks the impressed Akko.
" Your imagination is your limit, here it's just a food glyph, you'll make everything out of food, with the things you have in this place transform it into something identical to food from earth, even with the same materials, it's a very advanced magical manipulation, this was one of the places I liked the most " said the Irish woman summoning up a glass of soft drink.
From the refectory they cross a bridge to another tree where they see what looks like a Broom Ball field, kind of high up in those trees, wide open, with everything present, from the field they go on crossing to another part of the treetops where they see what used to be a staircase, going up to the top they end up having a privileged view of the surroundings.
" This one here is the highest tower isn't it? " Diana asks.
" Exactly, here you can have a view of Lillith's domains, besides serving as a beacon, in case one of you gets lost we activate it so you can see from anywhere in this forest " McLaren said.
" Really? How big is this place? Do you guys have any idea? Ask Cavendish.
" It is 100 kilometres by 100 kilometres, a huge forest distance, but thanks to the lighthouse you can easily find each other, and this is not the only point here, just warning that there are also many docile creatures around here, not all of them are aggressive, there are even minotaurs who live in a village nearby in a peaceful way " Bernadette answers.
" You're going to use your broomstick a lot to explore here with us, now come on there's more," said the Irish girl waving to everyone.
And so they all went to the last tree, where from there were books and more books, besides what seemed to be an art studio, including some paintings that were kind of abandoned, in one of them it was quite noticeable the face of a certain redheaded girl smiling, where soon Diana took the painting and showed the mothers.
" You did, didn't you? " Asks the younger Cavendish until the two stare at each other, noticing the signature with an AJ, which ends up causing a tear to fall from Laura's face.
" April... This signature I recognize from afar, I had even forgotten she drew me, today she is no longer with us... April... You left another one of your memories here " McLaren said taking the painting.
" Love, be careful not to spoil the painting by crying, I even remember the day you had to stay still while April drew you, in the end it was wonderful," said Bernadette.
" Wow, I haven't changed a bit, it's not love... I'm the same as when I was 15 hahah " said the Irish girl.
" That April should be a good artist " Hellene said.
" She was... Her dream was to make games, she had even managed to develop some, but it never made success, they wanted 3D games too much and she still kept making 2D sprites and they were pieces of art, you have played games made by April and never realized " Said the older redhead.
" Well, now you can enjoy the place, take a break to eat, we two will be organizing our things, in a couple of hours we will leave to explore flying around Arcturus, just remembering that days and nights have exactly 12 hours at any time of the year, so it will always be dark at six and dawn at six, I know that back home it will still be daylight at six, but get used to shorter days around here " said the older Cavendish.
From there they all went running to the refectory without thinking twice, anxious to see how the food glyph worked, since they saw how efficient it was, meanwhile Laura and Bernadette were still half alone in that art studio, admiring the abandoned paintings, including one that they stayed with a little smile, where it was half thrown on the floor, with the couple together half hugging, they caught that painting, put it on the wall and from there they half hugged each other admiring the drawing made by their deceased friend April Jordan.
The adventures in the camp begin, they go to a totally new place, the real forest of Arcturus, the one that really hid all the creatures, all the magic, the origin of the witches and other things, that didn't buy the girls so much as the food glyph that became the biggest fever in the place by making any food on the spot with only the use of magic, depending only on the imagination of each one to make something to eat.
