Chapter 2: Feelings Admitted
Herbert then asks Jen if she would like to take a walk with in the park, she accepts saying, "Oh I'd love that, it's always a pleasure being with you." Herbert blushes more, he was flustered when he says thank you, and mumbles "I love you." under his breath, Jen heard the mumbling but not the exact words. "What was that, Herb?" He looks her in the eyes and says, "I..um..", he takes a deep breath, grabs the woman's left arm, which shocked her, and pulled her close, he says, "You are so amazing." His lips were then on hers, Jen never expected this, she blushs deeply, and soon he pulls away and looks at her.
Jen had feelings for Herbert, they grew more now, she stammers, "You..you..you kissed me.. Why?" He smiles a loving smile and tells her, "Because I wanted to, you've been such a wonderful friend, Jennifer." Jen becomes flustered, she couldn't believe what she heard, the man then says, "I want you to know, I love you..a lot."
Jen smiles after hearing this, "I feel the same for you." Herbert is surprised, he says, "You really do?", "Yes, I actually felt this way for weeks." She then places her hands on his cheeks, "You were always there for me, your brother was right, you are a kind-hearted man." Before the man could respond, the lady's lips met his, and his eyes go wide. Just ten seconds into the kiss, Herbert closes his eyes and embraces the woman's kiss. She pulls away after a minute passes, and says, "Your kiss is so magical."
Herbert then says, "I want to be your boyfriend, you deserve a better man.", "Herbert, I've been waiting so long for you to say that, I need a real love, one that will treat me right all the time." Before telling her how he happy was, he pecks her left cheek, and says, "I think I want to be with you in my living room by my fireplace, cozy and comfy by a fire, dear."
