"Natsu, hey Natsu wake up" a gentle voice said shaking the Dragon Slayer awaked
"Too Early" Natsu groaned
"The guild opens in an hour" the voice laughed
"Fine, fine" Natsu growled as he got up, smiling as he saw the own of the voice close to him, so he gave her a kiss "Morning Kagura"
"Morning dear, breakfast is on the table" She said
"you know we could just stay here, since you just got back into town from Mermaid's Heel" Natsu smirked
"How oft has that worked on me, the five years we've been married?" Kagura asked
"twice" Natsu said standing up and walking into the dining room, clad only in his boxers, making Kagura sigh.
It had been seven years since the Tenrou incident, and six years since Natsu was appointed the Fourth Master of the Fairy Tail Guild. while he had to deal with mission sourcing, Council reports, suppliers deal and every little bit of paper work didn't mean he didn't go out on mission every now and then. They were mostly S-Rank since he was the only one that could be considered S-Rank. Still by some miracle he had managed to keep it up and running. He smiled softly as he and Kagura reached the doors of the guild.
"Okay, new day starts now" he said opening the door
"SAND DRAGON DESERT CLEVER!"
"ICE DRAGON POLAR VORTEX!"
"VOLCANIC DRAGON MOLTEN FIST!" three attacks came at him. Smirking Natsu blocked all three, their casters jumping back
"Now you three, what did I say about attacking you guild master before the guild opens?" he laughed as he looked at the trio, one of them dressed like a desert bandit with a sand brown cloak over top a grey long sleeve shirt and pants that matched his cloak "Arydos" one who looked like a snow princess wearing an ice blue strapless dress with a snowflake design down the middle "Flurry" and the last guy wore a simple black shirt, orange jeans and a charcoal jacket that looked like cool lava "Magnus"
"Sorry Master, we were bored after getting things ready" Flurry smiled
"Indeed" Natsu said as he looked around, smiling as he saw everything set up for the day "Alright let's get started."
"Sir!" the three dragons said as they started to set up the guild hall
"I'll see if any new jobs and paperwork is in" Kagura said
"Thanks babe" Natsu called out
"No worries!" Kagura replied.
An hour later and the guild was full of life, with the original members mingling with several new members like the three dragon slayer Natsu met earlier. He also saw that Mason was at the bar talking with Kiana; Mason was the guild's stone make magic user, he's outfit was like that of someone who practiced craving with various chisels and an apron. Next to him was one of their newer takeover specialist who wore a 'beaked' hood that connected to a long cream duster with an eagle spreading its wing on each side, and a pair of dark denim pants. His name was Hayabusa Torrando. Across the guild was a man wearing a ninja costume who was talking with a knight in black and teal armour, his helm was off revealing his bright red hair and amber eyes. These were long time friends Hanzo and Izack, Hanzo was a master of Ninja magic he called it, it was an eastern style that used both vocal and hand commands to get the right spell. While Izack was just like Erza a requip specialist dealing mostly proficient in the Knight Style similar to Erza, though he preferred to call it Paladin style since majority of his armours had magical abilities and attacks.
"Morning!" a cheery voice said as a busty woman with medium length sandy blonde hair, bright green eyes where a brown leather jacket, a grey top tied around her massive bust, black pants and combat boots.
"Morning Haley, find any more of those keys or coins?" Natsu asked
"Yep, going to rock the games this year" she winked making the guild hall roar
"Now, now just don't get too cocky, especially with the Sabers rattling their fangs" Natsu laughed
"Seriously, how are they keeping up with us?" Izack asked
"We don't know but this year we'll be taking the lead 4-3" Kagura said before the doors banged open revealing a tanned wizard with a neon orange guild mark on his left bicep panting
"Nautilus?" Hayabusa asked
"Master Dragneel, I need to show you something with a mind projector" Nautilus panted
"Why?" Kagura asked as a woman wearing a black vest over a white sleeveless cheongsam walked in "Zephyr?"
"I don't know I picked him up from his most recent ocean scouting job and he was like this" Zephyr said
"Okay set up the mind projector, I want to see what has one of my family riled up" Natsu growled
"So who brought the popcorn?" Arydos asked as Macao and Alzack set up a dome like device
"Ssh" Flurry said as she glared at the sand dragon slayer
"It's all set up" Macao said
"It's not going to fry his brain right?" Flurry asked
"It shouldn't" Alzack said
"Shouldn't?" Nautilus and Izack asked
"There's a 0.001% chance" Bisca stated
"Okay we're ready" Macoa said as Nautilis sat in the chair as the device was lowered
"This is intense stiff" Hayabusa said
"Indeed" Izack said
"Shouldn't we wait, after all Crime Sorciére is due back soon" Haley said
"So, are most of the others" Bisca said before the device activated it projecting Nautilis' memories onto the screen, which was mostly just blue
"Blue ocean" Magnus said
"Just keep watching" Nautilis said as the memory showed the blue water becoming golden
"What is it?" Max, a sand user asked
"I'm not sure" Warren the guild's telepath frowned, Natsu was frowning before Nautilis' vision was solid gold, quickly turn back into blue as he swam further out. Once he was fair away he turned around, making everyone shocked while Natsu started to trembled
"It's, Its" Laki stuttered
"Tenrou Island" Natsu said surprised
"But how?!" Wakaba asked he asked as the island was closed off by a massive golden shell of energy with the guild's mark on it.
"Turn it off" Natsu said stunned
"Natsu?" Kagura asked before he rushed off to the Master's office just as three figured walked in
"Okay then" one of them said when Natsu
"What happened?" a man said as he removed his hood to reveal his blue hair and eye tattoo
"No offence to you Jellal, but we just got sucker punched!" Macao said
Natsu sat at his desk looking over magical books, manuscripts anything
"Come on, where is it?" he growled as he threw papers everywhere when a book fell onto the ground. Rushing over Natsu picked it up and started to skim the pages until he came to what he was looking for
"What is it?" Kagura asked slipping in
"One of the great three fairy spells. Fairy Sphere, the guild's ultimate defensive spell. Created by converting the bonds and faith of the guild into magic power. Nothing can break it; and whatever is inside the sphere is kept in stasis, untouched by time" Natsu explained
"But they found you in the water, why?" Kagura asked
"I don't know" Natsu frowned before walking out
"Master" Macoa said
"Zephyr take our dragon slayers, Team Shadow Gear and the Connells to Tenrou Island. Bring back our family!" Natsu ordered "Considering this an A-Rank mission"
"YES SIR!" the wind wizard said
"You think they can make it resurface?" Jellal asked
"I don't know" Natsu sighed "anyway, report"
"All's quiet, no sign of the other members of Titanslayer" Jellal said
"good" Natsu sighed as he saw Kagura chatting with Kiana
"You've been married five years and she still hates me" Jellal commented
"Well, you did kill her brother, even if you were controlled" Natsu stated
"I know, I know" Jellal said "Not to mention I'm still thankful you brought us on" he bowed
"It was nothing," Natsu scoffed.
TENROU RECOVERY TEAM
"Are you sure we're heading the right way?" Droy asked as he munched on a chicken leg
"I am" Zephyr smirked as she was at the helm, "Before I joined your wondrous guild I was a sky pirate, I've flown all the skies of Ishgar!" she cheered as she steered the ship "I even flew over Tenrou Island when I was hauling cargo"
"You moved Cargo?" Jet asked as he held onto his hat
"sure did" Zephyr shrugged
"THERE!" Bisca shouted as the light of the Fairy Sphere was shining as it emerged from the water
"My word" Alzack gasped
'It's okay' a calm and delicate voice told them 'you can land and see your friends'
"Taking the Sky Dancer down" Zephyr said
"We don't even know who that is" Droy panicked
"The ghost of Tenrou" Zephyr told them
"That's scary" Flurry panicked before a calming hand was placed on her shoulder by Magnus.
"But where, by the water or on the upper edge?" Arydos asked
"The water" Bisca pointed out
"Got it" Zephyr nodded landing close to the shore.
Once everyone was on the ground they looked around
"This is beautiful" Flurry smiled as she looked around
"The sand is pristine" Arydos said trying some
"So, how do we find them?" Alzack asked
"Maybe by asking her" Bisca pointed to the young girl in front of them wearing a pink and blue dress, her long pale blond hair was close to teh ground. With a smile the girl turned around and walked off.
"FOLLOW HER!" Arydos shouted running off after her
"Arydos!" Magnus yelled only to sigh
"Get after him Jet" Bisca said
"RIGHT!" the others agreed, running after the two.
"HOLD ON!" Bisca shouted
"What is it?" Alzack asked
"Happy" Bisca gasped picking the blue Exceed up
"It can't be" Alzack stated as he looked around seeing that the Tenrou team were all there
"We found them" Jet said looking around
"Erza, hey Erza time to wake up" Bisca said gently shaking her friend's shoulder
"Huh, Bisca?" Erza stirred "What are you doing here?" she asked before Bisca threw her arms around the knightly redhead "I missed something didn't I?"
"Yeah you all did" Alzack smiled
"DROY IS THAT YOU"! Levy exclaimed seeing one of her friends are gotten as big as
"What happened?" Elfman asked as he stood up helping his sisters uyp
"Who are they?" Gajeel asked
"The Iron Dragon Slayer, how nice to meet you" Magnusa said
"Who are you?" Gajeel asked before the trio showed this guild marks
"We joined while you were 'away'" Arydos said
"Away; what do you mean?" Makarov asked
"It's complicated master" Jet said as the others all got up
"NATSU!" Lucy cried out "Where is he?" she looked around
"You don't think" Gray panicked
"He's fine" Bisca smiled.
GUILD HALL
"I'm so nervous" Natsu said before Kagura rubbed his shoulder
"Go and do some training to calm down" she suggested as the doors opened, allowing the sound of light thumps enter the hall.
"Oh welcome back Mr Heartfillia" Kinana said
"Mr Heartfillia, how are you?" Kagura asked
"I'm fine thank you" Jude Heartfillia smiled as Kinana handed him a cup of tea "Master Natsu, what seems to trouble you?" he asked
"Nothing much Mr Heartfillia" Natsu smiled "Just found out something that I thought wouldn't happen"
"Oh?" Jude asked sipping the cup of tea he was given; which was a favourite blend of his wife.
"Indeed, so what brings you here, is the Love and Lucky okay?" Natsu inquired
"It is, I just l felt like coming here" Jude said before coughing
"Your health still failing?" Natsu observed
"Indeed" Jude said
"Excuse me, there's still some paperwork from the Crime Sorciere mission they got back from" he nodded and walked up to his office as Kinana sat down and started to talk with Jude. A soft smile graced his face as he sat down and read the report before filling out some paperwork from the council while he looked out the window, hoping or dreading the results of the mission he sent the team on.
TENROU
"ALL ABOARD!" Zephyr said as the Tentrou group got on board her air ship "Welcome on board the Sky Dancer, the air ship of Fairy Tail, and certainly better then the magic bomber Christina. Now first rule no leaning over the rails during flight, second use of magic is prohibited, and lasting, all Dragon Slayer must have a drink for what is in the steel keg before I even take off" she explained from the helm.
"What is it?" Wendy asked
"Something to help those with our kind of magic to fly comfortable" Flurry smiled pouring some into a mug for the youngest dragon slayer
"It smells sweet" Wendy said
"Trust us, this stuff works" Arydos said as he poured drinks for the rest of them "You too sparky" he said handing a mug to Laxus
"Thank you" Laxus said dumbfounded before the dragon slayers all downed the drink
"Hey, not bad" Gajeel smiled
"I agree" Laxus nodded
"Okay now then, shall we head off?" Zephyr asked
"Indeed" Makarov stated nodding before Zephyr took off.
"Home...where we come" Erza said
"Natsu" Happy sighed as he was held
GUILD HALL
"MASTER NATSU!" Macao shouted as he rushed into the guild
"What is it?" Natsu asked as he stepped out
"The Sky Dancer is back" Macao panted as he was trying to get the air back into his lungs, Natsu's hands trembled
"Any signs of additional passengers?" Kagura asked taking over as Natsu tried to gain composure
"Possible" Macao told her
"Natsu, I suggest you go up to your office and wait for awhile" Kagura said
"Okay" Natsu smile as he kissed her and headed up, pausing before looking at Jellal's squad "I suggest you make yourself scarce until I can explain your situation"
"Understood Master" Jellal bowed as he walked into the medical room with Meldy and Ultear. Natsu entered his office and tried to calm down as the door to the guild opened
"WE'RE BACK!" the voice of Makarov declared making tears come to the fire dragon slayer's eyes.
G'day Guys Grizz here, and yeah like I said there was a seven year time skip as well as new members, and there might be more in the future, also we are reunited with the Tenrou group plus the biggest surprise Jellal and his team have joined Fairy Tail, how that happened will be revealed in the next two chapters. But as I said last time this fic will cover the Grand Magic Games so I'm chopping out the Starry Key arc which I heard is considered canon but I didn't like much of it so its been skipped, But I hope you enjoy the reunion chapter next time
