"It felt like it's only been a week" Lucy said as the Sky Dancer started to land
"Indeed" Erza frowned as she saw someone run into the guild
"Macao just alerted them" Flurry said
"They are hopefully excited" Magnus smiled
"We were" Bisca softly said.
"And we're docked, Tenrou Island team, welcome home" Zephyr smiled as they gathered everything up and left teh Sky Dancer. Soon they were walking across the path Mason had built from where the Sky Dancer rested to the guild hall
"I wonder if the Master is nervous" Arydos asked
"Very" the other two Dragon Slayer agreed as Makarov opened the guild doors
"WE'RE BACK!" Makarov's voice echoed through the guild hall making those who knew the group from seven years start tearing up
"It is them" Wakaba stuttered
"You're back" Macao said before they all started to break down in cry. The Tenrou group doing the same
"After seven long years, we're back" Erza declared making everyone there raise their voices in a harmonious cheer. Soon the cries of the guild hall become laughs and smiles. All expect for one blue cat who had his head droop and his wings limp
"He's not here" Happy said
"Oh Happy" Lucy frowned as she comforted the cat. Suddenly footsteps came up behind them
"Lucy?" a quivering voice asked making her look behind her
"Dad!" she cried as she hugged him crying.
"Oh my Lucy you've come back" Jude cried "oh I've missed you" he hugged her tighter making everyone in the guild once again tear up in happiness
"A mighty fine day for reunions I say" a voice shouted making Happy tear up and quickly fly to the source of the voice.
"NATSU!" he shouted colliding with his partner
"Hey Happy" Natsu said hugging his exceed partner
"Natsu, is that really you?" Erza asked shocked
"Flame head!" Gray said shocked
"Whoa!" Lucy said
"Yeah, yeah now LET'S PARTY!" Natsu declared making everyone agree.
Natsu lent on the bar as he watched all the interactions of the guild, Happy sitting next to him eating a fish.
"So, what happened?" Lucy asked coming up to him
"What do you mean Luce" Natsu replied
"How did you survive Acnologia, and how did you get back here?" Gray frowned
"I am not sure, I was knocked out cold when they discovered me floating in the water" Natsu explained
"So I take it nothing much happened during the 7 years we were gone?" Erza asked
"No, you guys missed a bit" Natsu said
"Like?" Gray asked
"The Hunting Guild threat" Natsu growled
"Doesn't sound so tough" Lucy shrugged
"They were, basically a group of wizard hunting guilds popped up" Bisca said
"Wizard hunting guilds?" Erza panicked
"Yeah" Bisca said
"they went after everyone, heck they even tried to move on Fairy Tail" Natsu seethed
"Thankfully the magic council called a state of emergency and we were able to fight back" Bisca said
"Yeah" Natsu sighed.
"Mummy" a cute voice said as a young girl ran up to Bisca, who in turn smiled and picked her up
"Hey Sunshine" Bisca smiled
"YOU HAVE A DAUGHTER!" Erza exclaimed
"I do, this is Asuka Cornell" Bisca said "Asuka honey this is Aunty Erza"
"Hi Aunty Erza" Asuka cheerfully said
"If you have a kid that must mean...YOU GOT MARRIED!" Erza once against exclaimed
"Yeah I am" Bisca said as Alzack came over "But, we're not the only ones"
"Who else?" Erza questioned making Natsu sheepishly smiled
"YOU GOT MARRIED!" Gray shouted
"And?" Natsu asked
"IS THE WORLD GOING TO EN!" Gray tried to get out before he was punched in the gut
"SHUT UP AND PUT YOU SHIRT BACK ON!" Natsu called out
"Like Salamander can get a wife, even if he did, she would have to be stupid" Gajeel laughed
"What was that?" Natsu asked as he glared at his fellow dragon slayer
"Uh oh" Bisca said taking Asuka and moving out of the way "You guys better move!"
"Why?" Lucy asked before Gajeel was tossed over his should
"He's defensive of his wife" Bisca stated
"So Macao, are you the master?" Makarov asked as he saw the familiar scene of a guild hall melee, smiling as it seemed Natsu had not changed not in the lost seven years while Lucy was helping her father away from the fight.
"I am not" Macao said
"Who is, if you don't mind my asking" Makarov said
"He's currently brawling with Gajeel and Gray" Wakaba smirked making Makarov freeze as he realised who the two meant
"ARE YOU TWO MORONS! YOU ELECTED NATSU AS THE FOURTH MASTER OF FAIRY TAIL!" Makarov shouted making everything freeze
"Damn! He found out" Natsu said releasing Gajeel "Yeah, I am Fairy Tail's Fourth Master"
"WHAT WERE YOU TWO YTHINKING?!" Makarov shouted
"He was the strongest one we had left, he had defeated several major threats to Fairy Tail." Macao said
"Such as?" Erza asked
"Wizard hunters" Bisca said "A guild trying several times to take over our guild. Each time Natsu stepped up."
"At first Macao though was I crazy, but since he has been the master, we have never faulted, sure we were lost without you guys, then we got Magnus, Flurry and Arydos! After them more and more enemies tried their luck" Wakaba explained
"And each time Master Natsu has sent them packing!" Romeo cheered
"Well, the town is still standing" Lucy shrugged
"I suppose having him be master does cut on destruction costs" Erza agreed
"And he is ma, mar...I CAN'T BELIEVE THE WALKING DISASTER GOT MARRIED!" Gray called out
"Don't remind me!" Makarov paled
"Well, I for one can't want to meet the young lady who fell in love with our dear fire dragon" Erza smiled
"That...would be me" Kagura said taking a step forward making Erza stunned
"It's you!" Erza said stunned as she recognised her
"Yes, you saved me on that day" Kagura said "I was in Rosemary village when the cult was rounding us up...you also knew my brother, Simon."
"You're Simon's sister?" Erza asked
"Yes" Kagura nodded before being pulled into a hug by Erza
"thank you" Erza softly smiled
"Uh oh" Gajeel muttered
"So how did you meet?" Lucy asked
"Basically he saved me" Kagura said
"Saved you?" Lucy asked
"Yeah" Kagura said explaining how she had first met the Fire Dragon, making the pink haired Guild master smile at the sight of several of the Tenrou fairies talking with the new members
"Even though it was a bit of a shock hearing those words" Makarov said walking over to him "You have done a good job holding our family together and even expanding it" the old man said. "Come with me" Makarov indicated
"Yes sir" Natsu nodded
"Where are they going?" Lucy asked
"I'm not sure" Erza responded
"Where are we going Master?" Natsu questioned
"I'm not longer the master of Fairy Tail, you are and that means you are entitled to learn about its greatest secret" Makarov stated as the descended into the bowels of the earth under the guild. Natsu quickly noticed that there was a purple glow up ahead, he looked to see Makarov nod indicating he should god first. Walking into a large room he was amazed by what he saw. For in the middle of this chamber was a large crystal with someone encased in it.
"Is that?" Natsu panicked
"Our first master, Mavis Vermillion. This is the Lumen Histoire, aka Fairy Heart our strongest guild magic, it is the light of Fairy Tail" Makarov explained
"But how?" Natsu asked
"We don't know. But it was devised by Precht" Makarov explained
"Hades" Natsu growled
"Yes, he did not tell me why he created it" Makarov said "But what I do know is that this is a source of Eternal Magic" he frowned
"Eternal Magic, huh?" Natsu asked
"Indeed, now you know why it must be kept secret, why it must be defended" Makarov sternly said
"The first master is in there, of course I will protect it, she's the reason Fairy Tail exists, so that in turn means she's family" Natsu said making the third master smile
"At first when I heard, I thought it was a mistake, but looking back on it just right. I too would consider you for master" Makarov said
"Then in thanks for sharing this, there is something you should know" Natsu said before sharing a SS-class secret with Makarov who went wide eyed
"How much longer?" Meldy asked as she and the rest of her team were in the medical wing
"Shouldn't be much longer, Master Makarov went to inform Master Natsu about something" Jellal said.
"But what? Ultear asked
"We may never know" Bisca said walking in "So you guys still hiding?"
"what does it look like?" Meldy asked
"Meldy" Ultear warned
"Bisca are you in there?" Erza shouted
"She can't" Meldy panicked
"We may have to tell her at some point" Jella said before hiding as Erza walked in
"Oh excuse me" Erza said "Are you two members?"
"We are" Ultear nodded
"I see, I'm sorry it took us to meet" Erza said
"Indeed" Meldy said as Jella was about to step out
"So what are you names?" Erza asked as Bisca was behind her nodding
"I'm Ultear Milkovich and this is my daughter Meldy" she bowed
"Hello" Meldy waved
"I see" Erza smiled before requiping a sword "So who has been hiding in the shadows?" Erza asked rounding around to point a sword at "Jellal?" Erza asked, her sword clattering on the ground
"Hello Erza" Jellal said
"You're, You're?" Erza asked
"I am" Jellal said before Erza walked out frowned
Natsu sat at the bar sipping a fire whiskey smiling as the new and old members got along, especially Haley and Lucy, being Celestial Mages
"Looks like two of our celestial mages are getting along" he smiled
"Indeed" Kagura happily said as she leant on him
"Two? There's more?" Makarov asked
"One more, she's busy in the capital" Natsu said
"The Capit...you're joking!" Makarov blanched
"He better be" Erza said walking up to the two masters "Especially since you recruited Jellal"
"WHAT!" several of the old guild members shouted
"Erza, its complicated" Natsu said
"Then uncomplicate it!" Erza glared at him
"Very well" Natsu sighed before he told her
FLASHBACK-X788
Natsu and several other guilds master were called to Era where the magical council were seated.
"Remind me to thank Zephyr" Natsu said as he and Macao walked up to the headquarters
"Indeed, you actually managed to stay conscious" Macao laughed
"Okay okay wise guy, why are we here anyway?" Natsu asked before he noticed Kagura with her guild's master, smiling and giving a small wave
"You ever going to ask her to join the guild?" Macao groaned
"OH SHUT UP!" Natsu snapped
"Yes master" Macao jokingly bowed "Anyway we're called here about Jellal Fernandes"
"Jellal?" Natsu asked as he looked at his hand "what's happening?"
"We're here to discuss if he deserves to be freedom" a voice said from behind them
"Jura, they dragged you here?" Natsu asked
"Imagine my shock with it was declared that the hot headed Natsu Dragnell was the fourth master of Fairy Tail" Jura laughed
"So what is this about Jellal?" Macao asked making Natsu frowned
"It will all be explained soon" Jura said as he lead the Fairy Tail delegation inside
"You liking this?" Natsu asked
"No, I know you're not" Macao said
"No" Natsu frowned.
"ORDER! ORDER!" the head of the Magic Council said as he glared at the guild masters were gathered. Natsu feeling slightly out of place due to his age "We are where to discuss an urgent matter: the fate of these three: Jellal Fernandes, Ultear Milkovitch and Meredy"
"ITS MELDY!" a voice shouted making Natsu tense up as the three were brought out
"Interesting, I didn't think we would be dealing with three criminals" Bob the master of Blue Pegasus said
"I should spin you" the master of Lamina scale said
"What is the options?" Natsu asked
"Natsu?" Kagura asked slightly concerned for her husband of two years
"That is what we're here to determine, Master Dragnel" Org said glaring at the young man.
"I guess you want them dead?" Natsu asked
"That would be the best solution" a voice Natsu recognised as Lyon spoke up
"I will admit that Jellal did help us out during the Oracion Seis, but he was also the reason behind the R-System" Jura nodded
"He wasn't, at least not by his own will" Natsu said
"how do you mean by that?" the guild master of Mermaid Heel asked
"Who cares, he's soft" the master of Saber Tooth sneered
"Watch it you over grown kitten, I'm pretty sure a dragon beats cat" Natsu snarled
"ENOUGH!" Org shouted "What do you suggest Master Dragnel"
"Simple, hand them over to Fairy Tail" Natsu called out
"Oh boy" Macao groaned
"We'll take them on under probation, and if they screw up then you can kill the girls. But Jellal if he screws up, Kagura of Mermaid Heel will be his executioner"
"I see" Org said "It is no secret your guild has suffered because of their actions between the R-System and Grimoire Heart"
"Are you sure Natsu?" Lyon concernedly asked.
"Two of them attacked your guild on that island" Kagura said before glaring "and the other one
"Has bestowed pain on my guild mate and my partner, I know but he was under the control of Zeref" Natsu gripped his fist making Kagura under stand
"I see" Kagura back down making her guild master and Macao look at the pair "I will go along with this, but like you said he betray you or the guild in anyway, and I will unleash my sword onto him"
"I see" Org said. "Are there any who are opposed?" he asked as the hands of a few Guild Master were raised. Org noted those who opposed before he turned to Natsu, a fiery glare was coming from the young guild master
"Natsu are you sure about this?" Kagura asked
"I am" Natsu quietly said
"Very well, I release these three into the custody of the Fairy Tail Guild!" Org nodded as the guards relived them of their bindings
PRESENT DAY
"So that is why Jellal, Ultear and Meldy joined the guild, and to this day the promise still stands" Natsu said
"And to this day I am still poised to deal with Jellal" Kagura glared as the trio walked in, Juvia happily greeting Meldy with a hug and a laugh while Gray nodded at Ultear
"Gray" Ultear said
"Ultear, I hope they've been treating you right" Gray responded
"They have been" Ultear said
"Okay then" Gray nodded "Just don't try and kill us"
"Sure thing" Ultear said before she hugged Gray
"Come on we are still celebrating!" Natsu shouted making the rest of the guild cheer loudly
CROCUS
A young woman was standing on the balcony of the royal palace watching the world go by
"Excuse me ma'am, it's about time to post out the notification about the Grand Magic Games" a guard said saluting.
"Oh okay, I'll be right there" she smiled before turning back "I know father said I should be bias, but ever since I joined them, I have to root for them. I hope you do well Fairy Tail." she smiled while looking at the hidden guild emblem of Fairy Tail she possessed.
G'day Guys Grizz here, so that was a nice chapter wasn't it wit everyone being reunited, especially Lucy and her father who never got the chance to meet up in canon. Heck the last time she met him it was after she and him had a fight. Also Makarov let's Natsu know about Mavis but in return Natsu let's him in on something which will be brought up again in the future and who knows I might let you guys know what Natsu said to him
