Goku and Chi-Chi divorced after a month of marriage because Goku discovered that Chi-Chi let five men run the train on her the night before their wedding. But Chi-Chi was pregnant with Goku's son. She eventually gave birth, but she never made any attempt to reach out to Goku. She name the boy Gohan after an old friend of her fathers, but she has abused him his entire life. Goku in the meantime eventually married his childhood friend Bulma. This story will have more than a few twists and turns.
Chapter 1
Gohan was terrified, he had been unable to finish scrubbing the kitchen. His mum and her boyfriend Josh, were going to be back very soon, they were both out drinking and when they were drunk, their favorite hobby was to hurt Gohan. The front door of the house opened, Chi-Chi and Josh staggered in, drunk. They went into the kitchen and Chi-Chi saw that it hadn't been finished. Chi-Chi screamed "GOHAN! HOW MANY MORE TIMES MUST I PUNISH YOU BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY DO IT RIGHT?!". She then began to kick and punch Gohan while he curled up into a ball, just wanting it to be over. Josh came over with a cruel smirk and removed his belt, at first Gohan thought that Josh was going to hit him with the belt, but then Josh opened his zipper, thats when Gohan realised what Josh had in mind. This was not the first time this had happened, and it sure wouldn't be the last. Gohan thought to himself "Who am I kidding? I deserve this, I couldn't even clean a kitchen properly.". All of a sudden, the fron door came off its hinges and a voice yelled "NORTH CITY POLICE!". Both Chi-Chi and Josh were arrested and put in the back of a Police car. The Officer in charge was Sergeant Johnson, happily married father of three. When he saw the condition Gohan was in, he was horrified. First thing he did was wrap the boy in his jacket, then he saw something which caught his eye. It was a monkey tail. It jogged his memory, as a boy, he loved the martial arts, he went to the twenty first and twenty third world martial arts tournaments with his father. A boy with a monkey tail had competed, Johnson was willing to bet a months salary that Gohan was in some way related to the monkey tailed boy from those tournaments.
First thing Johnson did when he returned to the station was call his wife to let her know that he would be working late. Second thing he did was go into his office and use the computer to find the name of the monkey tailed boy from the World Martial Arts tournament. His name turned out to be Son Goku. Johnson found the news article about his victory over Piccolo Jnr at the Twenty Third World Martial Arts Tournament, Johnson himself had never forgotten that fight, it was incredible. He then discovered another article, it showed Son Goku and the woman he had arrested earlier that night. It inspired Johnson to access the the records at Births, Deaths and Marriages. He found the records of Son Goku's marriage to Chi-Chi and their divorce, due to Chi-Chi's adultery. He then found that Son Goku had remarried. His jaw dropped when he saw the name of Goku's second wife. Bulma Brief, heiress to Capsule Corp in West City.
The phone in the Brief Family compound rang. Bulma answered. "Hello?". "This is Sergeant Johnson from the North City Police, is Son Goku available?". Bulma said "My husband isn't home at the moment, what is this in regards to?". Johnson described the events of the previous evening, by the time he finished, Bulma was shaking with rage. She snarled "My husband will be there in an hour.".
Goku was at Kame house, catching up with his friends. He was in a spar against Yamcha and Krillin, together they were actually able to compete against Goku, he was having the time of his life. All of a sudden, Roshi who had been sitting on a deck chair and ogling Launch, saw something coming towards the house, moving like a bat out of hell. When it got closer, he saw that it was a Capsule Corp jet copter. In the drivers seat was a very angry looking Bulma. Goku saw her and he wondered if he had forgetten to do something at home. He grabbed the back of his head and grinned in the classic Goku way, and said "Uhhh hey Bulma, hows it going?". She screamed "GET IN NOW!". Goku meekly complied. Goku hopped into the jet copter and it took off at top speed. Yamcha said "Goku must be in really big trouble, Bulma is a pistol when she's in a bad mood!"
