Hello guys, sorry this has taken a little longer to get out. I know I said I wanted a certain amount of reviews, but in reality I just enjoy writing. The more I continue to write, the more I can improve for future works. Now, I want to thank you all for reading the story. I hope you continue to enjoy it.
As a reminder, I do not own Transformers or any of the characters pertaining to Transformers. They are all owned by Hasbro. I do own, Stella and this story. Thank you and enjoy.
Stella was nervous, very nervous. Rumble had carried her to the med-bay, least that was what he called it. A few of the Decepticons, that were getting repairs would glance in her direction. They either glared at her, or looked on with pity in their expressions. The attention made her more than a little uncomfortable, Rumble would occasionally brush his hand against hers. "Thank you." She whispered softly to him, the sentiment on the phrase probably becoming lost. However the smaller con would just smile, nod, and keep comforting her in his way.
"Alright." A voice spoke, causing her to look up to see the one called Scrapper walking her way. "Human, I need you to lay on your back." He explained, she looked to Rumble who nodded to her. "Do not worry, he isn't going anywhere until we have you diagnosis."
She turned back to him, smiling at the larger robot in thanks. Taking a deep breath, before laying back. A shiver passing through her small, fragile frame from the cold metal underneath her. "Is this good?" She whispered softly.
"Very good." Scrapper replied, while pulling out a small hand held device. "I am going to scan your form now, do not look directly at the blue light as I do. We do not want to damage your sight." He explained.
Nodding, Stella watched the Constructicon work. Her blue eyes widening, only slightly when he clicked a button on the device. Bright yellow lights began to flicker along the type, followed by a soft beeping noise as he moved carefully waved it around her. He did this several times, above, both her sides, and at a few different angles. Needless to say, he was very thorough, and besides the first meeting he made sure she was relaxed the entire time. He did not necessarily make conversation, but he did make sure that he didn't make his movements sudden as to not scare her.
"Green means done." Scrapper spoke, right as the device flashed the color and made a more erratic beeping sound. "I will be right back, I just need to go look at the data."
"Thank you, Scrapper." She whispered, offering him a small grin. Her breathing had changed slightly, indicating that the small girl may be in a little pain. The mech placed the device down for a moment and regarded her.
"Are you in pain?" He asked her.
Stella nodded, but placed her hand closer to his. "I am but its a common occurrence." She whispered, smile never fading as she made eye contact. "I can handle it, I promise."
A few others had looked in her general direction, but no one really said anything. Scrapper seemed to be quite unsettled at her words, but he to remained quiet. "If it progresses, let one of us know." He finally said, before taking the device and walking over to the computer.
"Are you sure, you are okay?" She heard Rumble ask.
Turning to him, she nodded. "Yes, I promise I am fine."
"You know, it's alright if your not." A voice suddenly spoke, causing both of them to look over. Stella unfortunately did not know who this particular Decepticon was. He had wings on his back, along with what looked to be a tanks gun. "You might be young, but you have seen more than most flesh children have. It is alright for you to not be okay now."
"Blitzwing has a point." Rumble spoke up, Stella turned back to him. "I don't know how long you are gonna be here, so I wont pressure you to speak to me or any one else.
Her eyes began to burn, glistening with tears that she fought to keep at bay. She refused to let them fall, she was not going to cry in front of them. They all had better things to do than to listen to her weep. She was safe, she was free, she had everything she wanted in that very moment; didn't she? Then why? Why was she suddenly afraid? A warm, metal hand touched her back; causing her to look over. "Rumble?"
"It's alright, squish." He said, offering her a small grin of his own. She returned it, but elected not to say anything else.
Stella elected to look around the med-bay once more, several of the other Decepticons had cleared out. The only ones who remained, was Blitzwing, who was steadily getting his arm worked on by she believed to be Bonecrusher. Rumble had informed her of their names, but it was going to take her a moment to memorize the face to the name. Moving her attention, her gaze resting on the other two that remained in the med bay. If she remembered correctly, she believed Megatron had called the blue one Thundercracker. At his side was a black and purple jet, who looked very similar in make to his counterpart. He watched over the blue jet closely, every singly repair that Hook made, was watched like a hawk. She found it absolutely beautiful, how devoted he was to his friend.
"It is not nice to stare." The darker jet spoke, his gaze flashing to her briefly. "If you have something to say, than say it."
She looked away quickly, her cheeks heating as the embarrassment set in. "Sorry, you both seem incredible." Her words fell from her lips softly, before looking back up at him. "But, you are right. It is rude of me stare, and I do apologize."
He looked at her fully for a moment, his optics narrowing as he seem to size the child up. His attention soon returned to his comrade. "Whatever squish."
"Hey, Skywarp." Blitzwing snapped, "the kid apologized, no need to snap at her."
Rumble moved slightly, gaining her attention. "Don't pay him any mind, but I would also heed the little warning. Thundercracker, and Skywarp over there will probably just ignore you for the most part, Starscream is another story. It is best that if you stick around, that you avoid all three of them."
"Starscream?" She asked softly, suddenly intrigued. "Is he the red jet?"
"Yes." Rumble nodded. "Look, everyone has been given the order that you are not to be hurt. A majority of the Decepticons don't like the order, but they won't cross Megatron." He explained, pausing briefly as he had two jets watching him carefully. "However, Starscream is well known to not follow Megatron's commands. With that said, I don't see him hurting you physically as you are a youngling. Not even he has the spark to harm children, but that doesn't mean he's going to be nice to you."
Stella nodded, going into her thoughts as she looked back over to the two briefly. Thinking back to the clearing, she did remember the red jet. His glare, she remembered it seemed like it was a permanent feature. 'Starscream.' Looking at her hands, his name playing in her head. All three of them seemed to have an anger to them, but it didn't seem directed towards anyone in particular. If she had to guess, the three were using it as a front; probably to protect themselves. It just made her more determined, to get to know them. Looking back to Rumble for a brief moment, before her attention was taken by Megatron walking into the room. "Hello, sir." She greeted, offering the leader a respectful nod.
He glanced at her, but did not return the gesture. "Human." He offered as a greeting, before his attention was taken by Scrapper. "Report."
"Blitzwing just as a few basic repairs, and Thundercracker is just getting his cockpit fused. Both, can leave once they are finished. All other Decepticons, are all back on their peds. Once refueled, and recharged, everyone should be back in perfect condition." The Constructicon answered, before glancing in the girl's direction. "As for, the human child. She is going to need extensive repairs."
Megatron glanced back at her, which she met his gaze. "What all needs to be done?"
"For starters, we need to get her leg healed. That is the simplest of her injuries, as Mixmaster can replicate the serum, that Dr. Arkeville had made for his own flesh wounds." Scrapper started, his gaze turning towards the one in question. "The biggest obstacle will be your broken ribs, as they have already healed, they will have to be re-broken, and set where they are supposed to be."
"I'm guessing this means, that Stella is stuck in the med-bay for a while." Rumble spoke up, to which the Constructicon nodded.
"That is accurate, until we have all of her injuries healed, it would be best the girl remained here." Scrapper replied, before turning back to Megatron. "We can probably build a machine that can break, and fuse her ribs back together; but it will probably take a few days."
Nodding, the leader turned to the girl. "Make a list of supplies that you will need, for now you will remain in the med-bay as Scrapper has suggested. We will discuss more permanent arrangements once you are healed." He told her. "Rumble, both you and Frenzy will go and collect what she needs."
"Yes, Megatron." Rumble replied, his attention turning back to Stella. "You will have to let me go, but this gives you the opportunity to get to know the Constructicons."
0.o.0
That night, Stella had been given a thermal blanket to keep warm. Scrapper had also made sure a heater had been placed rather close to her, didn't need the child catching a cold. Most of everyone else had gone to recharge for the night, all that remained was Hook. He was concentrating on the plans for the machine that was going to heal her, she was curious about how it would work. The idea that they could take away all of her pain, obviously intrigued her. The past two-three years, that was all she knew.
"Shouldn't you be recharging?" Jumping out of her thoughts, Stella glanced up surprised. Hook had turned slightly towards her direction, an optic ridge raised slightly. "Your body is going to need a lot of rest, if you are going to have a full and successful recovery."
Blushing softly, as she looked at her hands. "I'm sorry, just having a little trouble falling asleep."
"Hmm." He grunted, turning back to his work.
"Can I see?"
"No." He replied, "don't need your fluid getting on the data pad."
"My leg has stopped bleeding though?" Stella responded.
Hook growled, turning towards her abruptly. "Can you guarantee your injury won't become irritated if I move you, that there is no chance that it won't start oozing, the disgusting substance."
"I can't guarantee anything." She whispered after a moment of silence, sitting up. Her gaze falling to her hands. "Just forget I asked, sorry I bothered you." Finally she whispered.
"Why would you even want to see the plans, it's not like you can understand them?" Hook questioned.
Looking back up at him. "I'm curious, and I don't like being alone in my thoughts." She answered. "Also, I want to know how the machine will work. I understand it will break my bones, and then put them back together; but how?"
"That is what I have to figure out." He responded, glancing at the data pad. "Alright, I'm not going to bring you over here, the less you move the better. However, I can let you be involved. When I have more answers to the questions, I will let you know. Go into the details, if you are truly interested."
Perking up, almost instantly. "Really?"
"Yes, Stella-was it?" She nodded, "I will let you know how the machine works, once I have more of the plans figured out." He told her.
"Thanks, Hook."
He nodded, turning back towards the data pad. "However, right now. You need to rest, by the time you are awake. I should have most of the kinks figured out."
Aww, Hook has a soft spot. Let me tell you, figuring out which Constructicon who was gonna kinda crack and be nice to Stella was difficult. I chose Hook only because he is "planner or artist" of the Constructicon team. Originally I was leaning towards Mixmaster, as he is the more chaotic of the group. Which I figured a child may find amusing, but again Hook just made more sense as he was going to be the one up late working on the plans. Now, on to my favorite portion XD QUESTION TIME!
1) How will her first meeting with Starscream go?
2) Will she befriend the Constructicons rather quickly?
3) Who will she meet next?
Give me your ideas, I do love reading them.
