Alright guys I know its been a while..but I have been struggling with this one..and I have a previous story that I deleted running through my head again. I want to ignore it but I don't know how long I will be able to. My goal is to have Dreamer updated by the end of this week, anyway I will warn you there is OCC Megs and Hook in this chapter..and you already know about Rumble.
Looking back up at him. "I'm curious, and I don't like being alone in my thoughts." She answered. "Also, I want to know how the machine will work. I understand it will break my bones, and then put them back together; but how?"
"That is what I have to figure out." He responded, glancing at the data pad. "Alright, I'm not going to bring you over here, the less you move the better. However, I can let you be involved. When I have more answers to the questions, I will let you know. Go into the details, if you are truly interested."
Perking up, almost instantly. "Really?"
"Yes, Stella-was it?" She nodded, "I will let you know how the machine works, once I have more of the plans figured out." He told her.
"Thanks, Hook."
He nodded, turning back towards the data pad. "However, right now. You need to rest, by the time you are awake. I should have most of the kinks figured out."
The five year old, could not remember the last time she had slept peacefully. Normally being on edge even at night, waiting for her father to storm into the bedroom and demand her to do some chore. A chore that she had done the previous day, that he either did not like or he had already ruined, what she had done; ripping the blankets from her form. This morning though, that had not happened. Stella woke slowly allowing herself to become aware of her surroundings, the first thing she noticed was her bed was hard; very hard. Yet, she was unbelievably comfortable, and warm. Not knowing what time it was, she attempted to roll over..her leg injury however made her quickly regret that decision. The pain in her shin sang hotter than the Sahara desert, taking several deep breaths; she attempted to turn back over. The pain dissipated slightly as she relieved the pressure she had accidentally caused, however a new problem arose. The injury began to feel wet, as a little cold air hit the injury. Which could only mean one thing, blood had to be seeping from the gash.
Moving to sit up, in order to assess the injury, a sharp ache in her back rippled through her small frame. At this point she did not know what hurt worse, her leg, or the rest of her body. She did not make a peep however, knowing better than to raise a fuss over a little pain, she did not need any more reason to allow her father to hit her. Taking a deep breath, before allowing her eye lids to flutter. Needless to say she was not prepared for the glowing red optics of Rumble in front of her. Jolting slightly in surprise, as the memories of the previous night returned to her.
The Cassette began laughing at her shocked expression. "Did your memory leave you?" He asked, still snickering.
"Not funny." She pouted, crossing her arms.
"Oh its hilarious human." He replied, before grimacing. "Although, you must have slept pretty good to forget about your injury."
Stella nodded, blushing slightly. "Yeah, don't suppose there are any bandages?" Her question, causing a deeper blush to appear on her normally pale cheeks.
Rumble smiled, his optics although still shimmering with amusement, softened as he took in her appearance. "There is no need to be embarrassed, I am glad you were able to rest well." He chuckled softly, causing a small smile to form on the child's lips. "And, to answer your question, yes Frenzy and I went out and gathered a few supplies for you last night." Handing her a small plastic bag. "There is more, but this is all the human medical supplies."
"Thank you." She responded, carefully tending to her leg, the alcohol caused her to flinch for a split second; but she kept going. Now that her gash was clean, and bandaged, her attention went back to Rumble and the med-bay around her. "Are they still asleep?"
"The Constructicons?" Rumble asked, looking around slightly. "Hook probably is, from what I gathered he was up pretty late last night. The others are probably in the rec-room refueling."
"Rec-room?" Stella asked softly.
"It's similar to your cafeterias or mess-halls, whatever you want to call it." He replied.
Nodding softly, she smiled at the image of all the Decepticons in one room. 'Did they joke around with one another?' 'Did they enjoy each other's company?' The questions filled her mind, and yet she kept them to herself. Unsure of how to form them, without bombarding her friend with a thousand questions. She just had to hope that once she was healed, that she would get to stay. Her stomach ceased all of her thoughts however, as a large growl escaped from it.
Rumble had turned, and now stared at the girl beside him. "You humans are an odd species." He commented, before a what she assumed to be his version of a warm, yet amused smile appeared on his face. "Don't worry. Laserbeak should be back with some sort of fuel for you. Frenzy and I picked up a few things, but we forgot the machine you use to cook it." He explained, now it was his turn to turn a different shade: although he turned a darker blue.
"It's the thought that counts." Stella replied. "Can I see what you got, not everything has to be cooked."
The cassette nodded. "Absolutely, but later." His optics moving to the door. "Besides, Laserbeak should be arriving soon."
It was as if the robotic condor was on cue, as he flew into the medical wing, with a loud squawk; his talons carrying what appeared to be a bag from Mcdonalds. He dropped it, within her reach; before perching in the rafters. His bright red optics staring down at the child, who was staring at the sight of the bag with wonder. Stella could not remember the last time she had fast-food. Her father had always told her that he would never waste his money on it, least not for her. On himself was a different story, often making her watch as he would pig-out of fries, and burgers.
"Thank you." She whispered, looking up towards the bird like Con. Biting her lip, she finally reaching out. Almost afraid that this was some scheme, and at any moment someone would reach out and take the substance away from her. When neither Cassette made a motion to stop her, her fingers clenching around the brown bag. The scent of sausage made her mouth water, as she removed what appeared to be a biscuit from the bag. She did notice the grimace on Rumble's face when she finally took a bite. However her attention went to the flavor, eyes closing in utter bliss.
"I guess its good?" Rumble asked, her eyes opening to look at him. She didn't give a verbal response, but nodded her head.
Once she had finished, savoring each bite; she answered him. "It's amazing, thank you." She whispered, looking up at the bird. "Thank you, Laserbeak." The condor squawked for a moment, before flying out of the room. "Did I say something wrong?"
Rumble shook his helm. "That's just Laserbeak, he is not used to having a human in the base." He answered, "none of us are, usually you humans don't like us..as I am sure you have guessed by now."
Stella nodded for a moment. "I don't understand why though, you have all been nice to me."
"We have our moments." He replied. "See when we originally revived on this planet we had wanted to gather the energy we needed, leave, and restore our planet. We had interactions with humans, because it was unavoidable. But, we would have been long gone if the Autobots had not stopped us." He paused for a moment, as if he was thinking on how to word what he was about to say. "You have to understand the only difference between us getting energy here and the Autobots getting energy..is that the Autobots are interacting with your species on a daily-"
"But at the end of the day, they are here for energy as well." Stella voiced in understanding.
"Exactly." Rumble replied. "Both sides are causing damage to your planet, but the human race seems to only care about who asked and who didn't. Not the underlining facts."
"Sound's like the Autobots are just trying to play good guy for face, or they are playing good now to try and make-up for something." The way he looked up at her, when the child finished speaking.
Rumble looked like her wanted to say something, but was unable as a voice replied behind her. "You are quite observant for your age." Turning quickly, Stella already holding a large grin at the familiar voice.
"Good morning, Hook." She greeted. "Did you sleep well."
The Constructicon nodded his helm. "Now, do you still want to see the blue-print for the machine."
"Yes please!" She squealed happily, while looking towards Rumble. then back. "Can Rumble stay?"
The cassette seemed surprised for a moment, before a slight blue hue came to his face. "I can stay as long as I don't get called for patrol."
Hook watched the interaction with interest and mild amusement. "I do not have a problem with Rumble being here, it's when he and his twin get together..that's when he start's acting like an aft."
"Hey." Rumble cried out, a smirk on his face. "I do believe you have me confused with my twin."
Offering his hand to Stella, Hook paused once he registered what the cassette had said. Hook eyed him, before looking at the child as she got settled. "Do not believe a word he just said. Rumble and Frenzy are two clowns of the team, they prank everyone..typically they aren't terrible. However when they get Skywarp involved...I would suggest hide in the Control room."
"Control room?" She asked, tilting her head.
"That is where you can typically find Megatron, sometimes Starscream, and sometimes Soundwave. However Megatron has made it a point that if one of us need a breather or to get away from a specific teammate for a moment, you can go in there." Rumble answered. "I know I have told you not to bother Starscream, but even if he is the only one in there, you can always go there. He may ask you questions, but that's about it."
Stella nodded thoughtfully, she knew that there was a possibility that they might not allow her to stay in the next week or so, once she was healed. Although she hoped that was not the case, she knew better than to grip onto the feeling. Still, as Hook carried her over to his desk, Rumble right behind them..she could not help but feel like she was meant to be here.

Megatron
The old tyrant sat on his throne, datapad in hand. He was looking over the report from Scrapper, he had been sitting there most of the previous night and now this morning as well. Hatred filling his spark as he went over the damage over and over in his processor, it appeared it really did not matter the species to him. Whether it be a human sparkling or Cybertronian, he would protect them from harm. He only wished he has been able to get to her sooner, initially when they heard the cries for help they had all been quick to ignore it. However something in his spark told him that he needed to see whoever it was, which was the reason he had ordered Rumble to investigate.
When Rumble had entered the clearing with the girl, angered has taken over his spark. He could see the visible bruises, dirt, and tear stains upon her face. The war-lord knew he had to help her, the very least get her back in working order. However the look of hope in the girl's glossy eyes as she looked up at him the night before, and Megatron knew he had made the right choice bringing her with them. Glancing up briefly at the security cameras, taking note of said girl sitting with Hook as he went over the blueprints for the machine that should heal the girls internal injuries.
The girl's future was unknown at this time, but at this point in her life she was safe. She was amongst what the universe deemed to be the most dangerous beings in the universe, and she was as happy as she could be. "Soundwave." He called to his communications officer who was sitting at the computer, going over potential energy resources. "Connect audio to med-bay camera's."
"Yes, Megatron." The tape-deck replied, and with a few clicks of various buttons.
Megatron tried to keep a straight face, but his mouthplate had a slight upward curve as the sound of laughter filled the usually quiet room. His optics moving back to the datapad, but upon looking at Stella's injuries once again...anger filled him once again. The small child, so innocent, filled with life and for the most part it had been taken from her. "Soundwave, have Rumble stop by later."
His quiet communications officer turned and looked at him, he nodded briefly. "Yes, Megatron."
"Alright, I need to submit these forms to Megatron," Hook could be heard telling the girl. "Than, we can start building."
"Do you think Megatron will be by today?" Red optics zeroed in on the girl as soon as she asked. The former gladiator stared at the small child, his spark clenching at her question.
Rumble placed a hand on her shoulder. "He might, usually he doesn't come to the med-bay unless its absolutely necessary." The cassette explained, before offering a smile. "But, he may stop by to check on you. You never know."
"I hope so." The child whispered softly.
Megatron walked closer to to the monitor for a moment, watching the child. "Soundwave, have Frenzy on his down time research everything we need to house Stella...she will be staying with us for now on."
"Yes, Megatron."
AWW what is happening to dear ole' Megs? Any ideas that is your question to answer.
