Tommy looks at Kat and laughs. He loves this woman and is so happy about it. Zack and Trini aren't laughing, but they are smiling. Rocky, Adam, Tanya, and Jason sigh, as Billy, Aisha, and Kim are in shock. They couldn't believe this side of Kat. Jason takes a deep breath.
"Alright! Enough! Kat, Tommy, enough. Kim's asking my question. Can we get an answer?" Jason takes over, making Tommy look at him. That didn't make sense to the Green. Jason should know what to do.
Oh. Oh.
Tommy looks at his sister and sees the same look. Their lips thin. Tommy makes a noise with his mouth. That makes so much sense now.
"You don't know," Tommy states. Jason looks at him with confusion.
"You don't know. I thought you knew," Tommy says. Jason smiles at him.
Scatterbrain. Jason loves his Green.
"I don't know," Red says. Most are giggling about this.
"The strings are broken," Kat says. Amused by all of this. The Mighty Morphin to Zeo looks at them with unimpressed and 'what are you talking about?' Looks.
"The connection thingy?" Tommy questions Jason. Laughter in the air.
"Power Strings?" Billy supplies. Tommy points to him.
"That thing." He says. The group is laughing at him. They know that Tommy can't think of the words right now. He's overwhelmed.
"What about the Power Strings?" Jason asks in a cooling manner.
"The what strings?" Cole's voice rings out. They sigh as the rest of the Power Rangers are here.
"Go on," Jason says. Tone soothing. Green smiles.
"It's broken," Tommy says, and Kat smiles. Jason looks at him with worry.
"The Power Strings are based on bonds, and while most of our bonds are strong, some actions towards each other have broken some of the connection," Kat answers for Tommy. Jason nods in understanding.
"We need to work together to get our bonds back," Jason says, making Green and Purple nod. Kim smiles fondly at Tommy.
"What can we do to help repair the bonds?" Kim asks. Green shrugs. The Pink smiles at that.
"That's not an answer, Tommy," Pink says, making the Green shrug again. Kim giggles.
"Kat?" Kim asks the Purple. Kat shrugs. Mighty Morphin and Zeo look at them.
"What does that mean?!" Most questions their friends. Kim goes to Tommy and makes him bend to her level. When he's at her level, she kisses him. Tommy blinks at her. Kat crackles. Most shake their heads. The rest of the Power Rangers are confused by this. Jason goes to his Purple and makes her take a deep breath.
"I love you, Tommy, but you got to use your words," Kim says. Tommy shrugs again.
"You're asking for an answer that I don't have, Kim. I don't know how this works! You expect me to know, but I don't!" Tommy says, making Kim blink. She didn't think of that.
"That's okay! We can figure this out together. Okay?" She says, making Tommy relaxes. Pink noticed how calm he got after that.
"Okay," He whispers. She kisses him again.
"I love you," She says, making Green smile shyly.
"Love you too," He says. Green looks too Red.
"Let's figure this out. Billy and Trini?" Red questions to Green. He grumbles, making the Blue and Yellow smile.
"Trini, Billy?" Red asks his Blue and Yellow.
"Already set," Trini says. Billy gets the computer ready. The eleven glow their colors, and the Power Rangers see strings going to them. Some are brighter than others. Green with tints of White, Red, and Black intertwine with Purple with the hue of Pink and Pink. The Green intertwines with Red with a shade of Gold.
The Mighty Morphin and Zeo have more robust bonds than the other Power Rangers, but Green and Purple are the strongest. However, Jason isn't going to let the Green and Purple settle. Pink intervenes to help Red. The rest of the Power Rangers are in shock. Once the strings are gone, the Mighty Morphin and Zeo come back. Kim takes Tommy's hand into hers.
"Well, that was interesting. Never thought that Power Grid would do that. Did you?" Kim asks Tommy. The Green shrug, making Kim sigh.
"I don't know what that means, Tommy," Kim says. She knows that Jason knows, as Jason's a great Tommy reader. Kim did, too, for some time. She squeezes his hand, and Tommy squeezes back.
"Tommy!" Jason says sternly, making Tommy laugh.
"That's not cool, Tommy," Zack says. Tommy stops laughing.
"I'm not sorry," He says. Kat grins.
"Kat!" Tanya warns her sister. She reads Kat as Jason reads Tommy. The Yellow and Red worry for the Purple and Green.
"What's going on here?" Gia asks. The Yellow is so confused with the two groups of Power Rangers. Trini, Aisha, and Tanya smile at the Yellow.
"Power Gird is interfering again, so we're trying to stop it," Rocky says. The other Power Rangers look at him.
"What?" Cole asks. Rocky shrugs. People need clarification.
"What does that mean?" Taylor asks. They all shrug.
"That's not an answer," Eric mimics Kim.
"We don't know why the Power Grid is interfering again. It is," Rocky says.
"How can the Power Grid interfere?" Ethan asks his mentor, as the Dino Thunder is curious about this. Tommy smiles.
"Something about people and feelings. I spaced after people but caught feelings," Tommy says. Jason laughs. Kat crackles while everyone else giggles. Kim giggles at the honesty.
"When the Power Rangers are formed, the Power Strings, what you just saw, are powerful. Whenever any Power Ranger is in trouble or sad, or whatever mood they are in, the team can feel them. We have learned to block each other, but the blocking is broken if one feeling is more potent. The Power Grid is trying to make it work with all the Power Rangers, but we manage to stop it. It's hard to control," Trini, sweet, beautiful Trini, says. The Power Rangers nod in understanding.
"It also helps that if we don't know the team, the blocking is easier to handle the Power Strings. If you are a closer team, you are in trouble," Aisha continues.
"It's trouble to have a connection like that," Kat says. The Pinks smile at her. It's hard to connect with her at first, but once you know how to talk to her, it's easy to understand her. Kim is getting good at reading Kat.
"That may be true, but it does come in handy when you are alone and have no communication," Leo says. The Lost Galaxy Power Rangers have that, so they know what the Mighty Morphin and Zeo are talking about. Tommy brightens at that.
"That's right! You guys have the Power Strings!" Tommy says. Kim holds him back from asking questions. Leo had to hold Kendrix back as well.
"Are you good now?" Madison asks.
"We are," Billy says.
