After being praised and admonished by the Pro Heroes present as well as receiving a glare from Bakugo, Izuku was pulled aside by Toshinori who wanted to speak with Izuku about something.

"By now I'm sure you've realized, super strength alone cannot accomplish what I did today. I normally wouldn't be saying this but there's a reason I'm explaining everything. You see, Young Midoriya five years ago, I was thinking of retirement."

Izuku was shocked.

"The Symbol of Peace retiring?!"

"The villain who nearly ended my career and my life, is one that has been fought before." Toshinori explained.

"And I was the only person to defeat him, but the Witch Doctor warned me that he may not be gone for good. And I only barely survived against him the first time which means I need to pass the torch, so that my successor might have greater success." He continued.

He pointed to Izuku.

"And that is why I have chosen you, Young Midoriya, to inherit my Quirk."

Izuku's eyes widened.

"Inherit your Quirk..."

""Every hero has a story about how they became great." Toshinori explained. "Overcoming adversity, or simply finding a reason to fight evil, but they all have one thing in common: their bodies moved before they could think. Tell me something, did you race to save your friend with your Ki in mind?"

Izuku shook his head.

"No, it was just instinct. I only really think about using my Ki when I'm training. The only thing I was thinking at that moment, the only thing on my mind, was how I was going to get that villain off of Bakugo."

"I thought so," Toshinori said, giving a genuine smile. "I need someone to take up my mantle when I retire and I think you'd make the perfect hero to do so."

"You mean...?" Izuku asked.

"You see, Young Midoriya, I was born Quirkless." Toshinori elaborated, "However I was given a Quirk from another person."

"This Quirk accumulates power with each subsequent user. Within this Quirk is the combined power of my seven predecessors."

He held out his palm, a glowing energy coming from it.

"The name of the ultimate Quirk is One For All!"

That was the day that would mark Izuku's path. His path to becoming the world's greatest hero, and leading the world's greatest team along with his best friend, Hideki.

Izuku was still wondering if he was dreaming. After all, he had never heard of a Quirk that could be passed from one person to another. But it was clear that whatever the energy in Toshinori's hand was, it had nothing to do with increasing muscle mass.

"Don't worry, I won't force this on you. It's your choice to do it or not. But if you accept, both a great honor and heavy burden will be passed on to you." Toshinori said, noticing the contemplative look on Midoriya's face.

"Hold on, you're saying not even the government knows about this?" Izuku asked.

"Only those I know I can trust do." Toshinori clarified. "A few Pro Heroes know as well and even some of the members of my agency. Less than 1% of Japan's Pro Heroes know about One For All, I'd say."

"And you think I am worthy of getting this power?" Izuku asked. "Just from my actions earlier?"

Toshinori nodded.

"Yes, you jumped into action while the rest of us stood idly by. You acted like a true hero, a rare attribute in our current society."

"It's all so much to take in..." Izuku muttered. "But...if this power can help me do even more...if it can help me save more people...I should accept!"

"No reluctance... Heh, you remind me of myself when I was your age." Toshinori smiled. "But I'll have to warn you that this won't be easy. With an unprepared body, One For All could destroy its user."

"However Young Midoriya, your training with Ki Manipulation has given you a good base to build up your body for One For All."

"Therefore it should not be long before you're ready." Toshinori finished.

*The Next Day*

Toshinori had planned to meet Izuku at Dagobah Municipal Beach but when he arrived, he saw some of the garbage cluttering the beach had been moved.

"Oh, Toshinori-San!" Izuku said with a smile as he was pushing a broken down refrigerator. Hideki was nearby having transformed into a muscular form as he lifted a large cluster of garbage with one arm thanks to the enhanced strength of his current form.

"I see you began cleaning this beach on your own initiative, Young Midoriya." Toshinori noted, "And you brought a friend to help you."

Hideki then noticed Toshinori.

"Who's that, Izuku?" He asked.

Izuku fumbled as he tried to come up with an answer without exposing All Might's identity to his best friend.

HoweverToshinori quickly answered before Izuku could.

"My name is Toshinori Yagi, and I am All Might's secretary."

Hideki grinned excitedly as his eyes lit up.

"Cool! What is All Might like in person?"

Toshinori smirked at Hideki's eagerness.

"He is a cool guy, but he's very busy."

"Of course, he's the Number #1 Pro Hero after all." Hideki nodded.

Izuku released his breath which he didn't realize that he was holding.

Toshinori looked around at the beach.

"I can see that you two are making good progress and coincidentally I was going to assign Young Midoriya the same task."

"Wait really?" Hideki asked confusedly.

"Hideki, Mr. Yagi here is helping train me for the UA Entrance Exams." Izuku explained to his best friend.

"Oh I see, it must be nice having All Might's secretary train you." Hideki said bashfully.

"You have no idea." Izuku smiled.

Eventually the two boys under the supervision of Toshinori managed to completely clear Dagobah Beach and return it to its former pristine state.

"Well done, Young Midoriya and Young Maki!" Toshinori congratulated the aforementioned pair.

"Dagobah Beach is back to its old former glory, the beach hasn't looked this good since I was a little boy."

"ThanksToshinori-san!" Izuku and Hideki beamed.

"Now Young Midoriya, I would like to discuss something important with you." Toshinori said.

"Alright, I'm guessing this is something private between you two so I'll catch you later Izuku." Hideki said as he took his leave.

"See you later Hideki!" Izuku said as he waved his best friend goodbye.

After Hideki had left, Izuku and Toshinori had their talk.

"Now I need to remind you Young Midoriya to keep One For All secret even from your best friend, Young Hideki." Toshinori instructed.

"I understand Toshinori-san, even though I am not comfortable with lying to Hideki." Izuku admitted ruefully.

"I get how you are feeling about deceiving your best friend, Young Midoriya." Toshinori said while patting Izuku on the shoulder. "I felt the same way about leaving some of my trusted colleagues in the dark about my injury and One For All."

"However, if the time comes when you think you can trust Young Hideki, then I will give you the go ahead to fill him in."

"Thanks! Toshinori-san." Izuku replied while smiling at his idol.

"Now, eat this!" Toshinori said as he plucked a strand of his hair and presented it to a stunned Izuku.

"Huh?!"
