As the Sun started to rise upon the city of Rio de Janerio, almost every bird in the jungle woke up. The toucans were clattering, the finches were cheeping, and the conures were chirping. And in the aviary in an artificial jungle, a light blue Spix macaw with emerald green eyes, one of the last two on Earth, was sleeping peacefully. On her left wing was a cast from a cage crushing her wing. Hearing flapping outside the hollow, she started to wake up. The visitor was a dark blue Spix macaw with hazelnut-brown eyes. He was the reason the female was even alive. If it weren't for him, almost every bird in Rio would've been shipped to who knows where. Even though he was socially awkward, every bird was thankful for him saving them. But he had a childhood friend he hadn't seen in days.

"You know, you should warn me before you get breakfast Blu."

Blu: You looked so beautiful sleeping. I didn't want to wake you up, Jewel.

Jewel: Well, thanks anyway, nerd bird.

After breakfast, a strange sound came from the vent

?: Psst Blu.

Jewel: What was that?

Blu: It sounded like it was coming from the vent. Who's there?

?: Blu, you wouldn't recognize your childhood friend

Blu: Jennifer. Is that you?

Then, the vent clangs as it falls onto the floor

Jennifer: Blu, it's so good to see you.

Jewel: Blu, is this your childhood friend?

Blu: Yes, Jewel. Jennifer, meet Jewel. But Jenn, how did you get here?

American Airlines Announcer: This is the last call of the day to get on the flight to Rio before it leaves. All who have the flight to Rio, you have 5 minutes to get there.

Jennifer: Darn, I have to get to the flight.

Airport Staff: HEY. No pets allowed

Jennifer: Oh crap. Gotta fly

The airport worker chases Jenn around the airport. But since Jenn could fly, she had a massive advantage.

Airport Worker: GET BACK HERE.

She managed to get to the flight before the staff could catch her.

Airport Worker: No! What am I gonna tell my boss?

Jenn: Phew. Blu, I'm gonna see you again.

Present

Jenn: And here I am now

Jewel: Wow, that's impressive

Tulio: Jewel, it's time for your check-up.

Jewel: Gotta go. I'll see you later, cutie.

Blu blushed as she said that.

But Jenn wasn't so as happy.

Jenn: *thinking* "CUTIE!" I thought I was going to call him that. Are they together? This complicates things. I'll have to try to steal him from her.

Jenn: So Blu, are you and Jewel together?

Blu: *blushing* Is it that obvious?

Jenn: Kinda

Blu: But anyways, how are you

Jenn: Doing fine. I have one question.

Blu: What is it?

Jenn: WAS IT NOT ENOUGH?!

Blu: *kind of scared* What do you mean?

Jenn: WAS THE LOVE I SHOWED YOU IN MOOSE LAKE NOT ENOUGH?

Blu: You love me?

Jenn: YES! AND YOU BRUSHED MY LOVE ASIDE AND WENT FOR SOMEONE ELSE!

Blu: Jenn, please stop and calm down.

Jenn: You know what? I'll make a deal with you. Break up with Jewel and come be with me, and in return, you'll get the feeling of my beak pressed passionately against yours. I'll give you until the end of the week. And don't tell Jewel about this, or her wing won't be the only part of her that's broken.
