Chapter 2 - The Deepening Divide
"Naruto-kun, wait!" Kushina shouts as she lets go of Minato's left hand and ran after the retreating form of her Son.
"Please stop running, Naruto-kun! Let me explain." the redhead called out, her voice cracking as she chased her Son.
After running for fifteen minutes, Kushina had caught up to Naruto on the Hokage Monument, rain had begun lightly falling as Kushina walked up to Naruto, who has his back to her, though Kushina could clearly see the tension radiating off the younger blonde.
"S-Sochi, w-why did?-"
A powerful gust of wind blew past Kushina, decimating a pair of trees behind her.
"So, the two of you have replaced me, I'm a bit surprised, but I didn't ever think you'd both be arrogant enough to flaunt it right in my face." Naruto says bitterly.
"You're wrong, Sochi! Your Father and I love you so mu-."
Kushina's words died in her throat as she was slapped hard across the face by Naruto, knocking her to the ground, shocking her.
"Naruto." Kushina whispers as her right hand moving instantly to her face.
"Stop lying to yourself! Please, for Kami's sake! If you loved me the way you say, then when did you allow that...man to physically and mentally abuse me along with the pervert!?" yells Naruto.
Kushina drops her gaze as more tears began falling.
"And now you're going to bring another unfortunate kid into this twisted family, if you can even call it that."
"Naruto-k-kun, please listen to me. W-we've changed, we'll show it in how we teach and raise this child, but we also want to have you back with us where you belong so our family can be whole." Kushina pleaded as she got to her feet.
"I don't believe you." the blonde growled.
Naruto then feels his Mother's arms encircle him in a warm, heartfelt embrace, fresh tears now flowing freely down her face.
"You used to be so forgiving Sochi." Kushina sobbed, "What happened to you?" the redhead inquired as Minato and the other guests came up to the pair.
"Pl-please Sochi, I-I'll do anything- give anything for your forgiveness." she sobbed.
Naruto grits his teeth and shoves Kushina away from him.
"You...sick- after what you did! You're 1,000 times worse than your husband! Did you forget how you would come into my room after the beatings by Jaraiya and my Father and before Tsunade-chan was allowed to heal me to savagely rape me!?" shouts Naruto, shocking everyone in attendance who didn't know.
"I was teaching you how to please a woman so you'd be prepared if you ever got a girlfriend or a wife." Kushina said, trying to justify her actions.
Naruto does his best to reign in his rage.
"I hate you, Kushina Uzumaki-Namikaze and I will never forgive you or your husband, or that worthless pervert for all the pain and suffering you've caused me. I have built a decent life for myself in Shinkonai and I will be returning there at the end of the year."
Kushina drops to her knees, utterly heartbroken as Naruto walks away from his estranged Mother.
"Enjoy your new life with your new daughter." he says bitterly as he finally walked away from Kushina and the others.
Ayanari was manning her station at the Front Desk when Naruto came in, soaking wet, looking emotionally drained. Quickly. the blonde was out of her seat and at Naruto's side, he fell to the floor in exhaustion, lightly sobbing. Kneeling down, Ayanari hugged Naruto, pulling him into a loving embrace.
"It's alright, tell me what happened, Naruto-kun." Ayanari said in a tender, caring tone of voice, but before Naruto could answer a woman's gravelly voice spoke up.
"Are you going to check us in or play nursemaid to your boyfriend? You dumb wench, we've been waiting for well over two hours for service!"
"I'm sorry ma'am, but you and your party missed the check-in deadline by two hours, so you'll need to find other accommodations." Ayanari said as cheerfully as she could, not even looking up from the distraught blonde that she was cradling.
Outside, the same two presences were once again watching Naruto and Ayanari and the two watchers made a decision, and ironically it was the same one-
'I need to comfort him too.'
Ayanari helped Naruto up to his room and out of his wet clothes, Ayanari had to control herself when she saw Naruto's godly physique once she had undressed him, leaving him in only in his boxers, his superb abs were still glistening with rain water. The two watchers had nearly passed out from nosebleeds from ogling the blonde Adonis.
Ayanari laid Naruto down on the bed before she stripped down to her aquamarine bra and panties and joining Naruto in bed and wrapping her arms around him with a contented sigh.
"You're safe now, Naruto-kun, I'm here for you." she whispers. Then, she places her head gently on Naruto's chest and fell asleep with her arms wrapped around Naruto.
The next morning, Naruto awoke to the sounds of songbirds filling the air with their melodious harmonies. When Naruto had tried to move, he realized that he couldn't and he looked around to see why and blushed when he saw Ayanari lying in bed with him, dressed in a rather revealing aquamarine bra that was straining to hold back her glorious H-cup breasts, blushing Naruto tore his eyes away from the wonderful sight while fighting a nosebleed.
Naruto looked at Ayanari's beautiful face and smiled before blushing again.
"Wow, Ayanari-chan is really pretty." Naruto complimented, not knowing that the blonde woman was awake and could hear what he had just said.
Suddenly, Ayanari's eyes sprang open and she leaned down and hungrily kissed Naruto for the first time, causing both she and Naruto to blush madly once they broke the unexpected kiss.
The two women who were outside could take no more and they decided to make their presences known before things escalated.
The first woman, revealed to be Hinata Hyuuga barged in through the room's door and the second woman, who was Konan materialized in a paper shunshin in front of the bed.
"H-Hinata? W-what are y-you doing here?" Naruto asks before turning to Konan, and paled because Naruto knew exactly who the bluenette was and why she's there.
"Konan of the Akatsuki." Naruto growled, freeing himself from Ayanari's grip, Naruto took a defensive stance.
"I know why you're here and I'm not-." the blonde said, but he's cut off by Konan appearing directly in front of Naruto and pulling him into a heated, demanding kiss that surprised the blonde Jinchuriki as well as the other two occupants in the room.
Hinata was shocked at what she was witnessing, but Ayanari was smiling as she watched, but also wanting to kiss the blonde in a similar fashion.
"N-Naruto-k-kun, I-I love you, I have for so long." before glaring at Konan and Ayanari.
"If this is true, Hinata then why has it taken you so long to confess your feelings?" the blonde asked, crossing his arms over his bare chest.
"..." Hinata was speechless.
"Just as I thought, your "love" is nothing more than hero worship, and I would also appreciate it if you would stop stalking me, it's creepy."
Hinata broke out in tears before turning to Konan.
"And what about her huh? She stalked you too, but you let her kiss you!" roared Hinata, which makes Konan press herself up against Naruto, seeking his protection.
"Hinata, you're a really nice girl and a good friend, but I can't ever see you as a romantic interest, I'm sorry."
Hinata's heart shattered when she heard her crush's rejection of her feelings.
"You'll be sorry! Mark my words, Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze! All of you will pay for breaking my heart!" Hinata screams before running out of the hotel.
"I'll...go close up, Naruto-kun, Konan-san." Ayanari said before quickly getting dressed and heading down to the lobby. Once Ayanari was gone, Konan hugged him, pushing him towards the bed, the pair laid together contentedly.
"Naruto-kun, I-I'm no longer in the Akatsuki, so you and your Biju are safe in my presence." the blunette says, giving him a gentle smile.
Later that day...
Naruto is walking through the village, his axe on his back, he walks to the Training Ground, finding it empty, Naruto takes his shirt off and removes his axe, holding it in his Let Aeshia stance.
"Crimson Blitz." he says, targeting a pair of trees.
He trains alone for an hour, sharpening his instincts, form, and reaction time when using the style.
After training, Naruto went to the Hokage Tower, apparently Minato had a mission for Naruto.
Upon entering the Tower, Naruto walks past Shizune, Kurenai, and Tsunade en route to Minato's office.
The three women smile at the blonde and he returns their smiles with one of his own.
Reluctantly, Naruto knocks on the door to the Hokage's office.
"Enter." he heard his Father say, Naruto opened the door, his face hardened into a steady, unrelenting stare.
"What do you need...Hokage-sama?" Naruto asks neutrally, the hate in his tone belies the aloof look in Naruto's azure eyes.
"I have an S-ranked Assassination mission in the town of Kimokita. Bandits and some Iwa Missing Nin have been terrorizing the people there."
"And you want me to go take care of things I take it?"
"Hai." Minato answered, smiling at his Son, Naruto however only looked at his estranged Father with eyes that are as steady as glass.
"Hokage-sama, do I have any time constraints in which to complete this mission?"
Before Minato could reply, the office door opened and Kushina walked into the office, a bright smile on her face, she is followed closely by a five or six year-old girl.
