Set during The Horse and His Boy. Shamelessly borrowing the Narnian months from elecktrum.

Ed,
Set off from the Cair this morn. Captain Theron practically had to sit on Lucy to keep her from coming with.
I hope Susan and you are well. I imagine you must be halfway to Calmoren by now. Best of luck with the Tisroc; I found their customs, interesting on my last visit.
Sir Giles Fox is threatening me into going to bed now. I'd best go to bed before he decides to tell Oreius.
May Aslan be with you,
Peter
P.S. Write to Lu, it'll keep her entertained.

Peter,
If Giles says you should be in bed, then you're up far too late. For a high king in his late twenties, you really ought to be able to regulate your own bedtime Pete.
Susan and I are well. We are in fact halfway to Calmoren, congrats on your memorization of the time it takes to sail there, and your improper grammar.
Next time Giants threaten our borders, please take me with you. The impending doom of Calmoren customs and Susan's suitor are going to drive me mad. Also worry about you. Don't do anything foolish.
And if that doesn't drive me mad, Corin will.
Your dear younger brother,
Edmund the Just

Edmund,
This has to be brief I'm afraid. I've only got a few hours before we ride to battle. I'm sure you'll get an official report of how we fare afterwards.
I will attempt to refrain from doing foolish things. Keep me updated.
All my love,
Peter
P.S. That was Susan with the grammar wasn't it.
27th day of Fairdawn
Ed,
We won the first battle. Unfortunately, the giant's camp is still in the same spot. We've managed to cut down their numbers though.
Tell Susan not to worry, I'm not too badly injured. I'll have Oreius attach a full report.
For the love of Aslan, how fares your efforts in Calmoren?

Edmund Pevensie, if I don't get a letter back soon, I'm sending Lucy with an army to Calmoren.
We did battle with the giant's again, and they beat a hasty retreat toward the border. I've attached another report.
7th day of Greenroof, year 1014
Cair Paravel, Narnia
Peter,
Su will not be marrying Rabadash. We were, well, detained under threat of attack (though naught was explicitly said) if she refused his hand.
Tumnus, Aslan bless him, came up with a brilliant escape plan. We invited Rabadash to a feast on our ship, which gave us an excuse to buy supplies. We slipped away in the night before they were any wiser.
Susan's a bit shaken up by the whole affair. I don't expect Calmoren will be happy either.
Corin had a bit of an adventure, but he'll want to tell you about that himself.
Splendid job routing the giants so quickly. I read the attached reports. Broken leg and battered ribs aren't "too badly injured" Pete. Rest and recover please.

Ed,
I should just leave the giant invasions to you from now on. Calmoren sounds as if it was much more interesting.
You're lucky you have an excuse for not writing back sooner.
Tell Susan it'll be alright. If Rabadash or the Tisroc tries anything, I'll certainly have a thing or two, or perhaps an army, to say about it.
Give Tumnus my thanks, and tell Corin to behave himself.

Near the Stone Table
Peter,
Rabadash is marching on Anvard. Edmund bade me to write to you, he hasn't the time. We've set off with Sir Peridan and as many troops as we could muster.
I've only spent about a half day with Corin, however did Edmund and Susan manage to keep an eye on him?!
Don't worry too much about us.
Love and Aslan's blessings upon you,
Lucy

Lucy,
Please be careful, we don't need three-fourths of Narnia's monarchs laid low by war injuries. Oreius bades you both to remember your training and to watch each other's backs.
For the love of Aslan, please do not let Corin ride to battle; Lune would kill us!
I've set out for Cair Paravel. I hope to be there in four days.
Love for you and Ed,
Peter
22nd day of Greenroof, year 1014
Anvard, Archenland
Peter,
My dear brother, what an eventful month we've had. You'll be happy to know that Lu and I were successful in stopping Rabadash from seizing Anvard. Lune put up a strong defense until we got there.
The funniest thing happened; Rabadash got his mail stuck on an old rusty horse-tying hook as he tried to jump down on me. It was rather amusing, and he charged me with letting him down to fight, or just killing him. I was intending to do the latter (given his conduct toward our sister) but Lune insisted we took him prisoner.
Aslan arrived, and Rabadash has been turned into an ass. One almost feels sorry for him.
You'll also be pleased to learn that Lune's long lost son has been found. You'll remember his name is Cor. We apparently mistook him for Corin while we were in Tashbaan. Cor traveled nearly all the way from Tashbaan on the back of a talking horse he freed. Phillip and the fellow, Bree, are already getting along quite well.
Cor strayed into Narnia, it was only because he passed the news of Rabadash's army onto a brave Stag who ran all the way to the Cair that we were able to reach Anvard on time.
Anyhow, Lune is in higher than normal spirits.
We'll likely stay a bit longer to help Lune clean up Rabadash's army. See you soon, and stay off your leg.
Lion be with you,
King Edmund the Just
I hope you enjoyed it! There will be more chapters to come. Hopefully this makes sense; I've never written a fic like this before.
