Chapter 2: A new life.

It been 3 years since that horrible day in konoha.

The door to the hokage office closed signaling the last person to enter the office. Tsunade looked up from her report and looked at the group that stood infront of her. The group consisted of team Kakashi and team asuma. Kakashi as leader of the mission followed by his teammates, Sakura, Sai who replaced Naruto, asuma, Shikamaru, Choji, ino and a anbu now joinin name Yamato. You may be wondering where's Uchiha Sasuke. To sum it up he managed to escape the village again with the help of kabuto and Orochimaru more top shinobis. The village trusted him more like kissed his feet too much they didn't expect him to leave again. He was now a missing ninja A high A- Rank ninja in the bingo book. The council forcing Tsunade not to make it an S rank because they still needed the Uchiha.

Tsunade smiled at the group, "good you all here." Shikamaru yawn already knowing what the mission was. "Scouts had reported this file stating they found another one of Orochimaru's hideout." 'And is certain this is the one he's hiding in.' She handed the report to Kakashi. "Read that while I finish explaining the mission details." "The mission is to of course go to this hideout and find Sasuke Uchiha and bring him back to the village."

Sakura had a determined look on her face. She was dedicated to bring back her former teammate and lover. After Naruto was banished she felt horrible and took her training seriously wanting to bring him back and showed him that she cared for him. Tsunade once who disliked her recognize her training and took her on as a apprentice. She quickly Rosen through the ranks becoming a joinin along side Shikamaru, Lee and neji. Everyone else and her friend group was a chunin but was still strong.

Kakashi finished the report and sat it back down. "We accept the mission hokage sama, we will head off in a hour." Tsunade nodded and watch as everyone left to prepare for the mission but Kakashi. "Kakashi right you should be preparing for your mission?" "Yes but I wanted to ask you something." Tsunade face straightened she already knew what Kakashi wanted to ask her. "Have you gather any information on Naruto location."

Tsunade sigh "sorry Kakashi no sightings still." "Jiraiya nor anbu patrol scouts have seen him he just disappeared." "Kakashi I want to see him again just see his smile."

Kakashi sighed in defeat, "I'm going be on look out while I'm gone, leaving in a shunshin."

Tsunade opened the drawl from under her desk picking up a photo of her and Naruto. "Oh Naruto I miss you so much."

Somewhere in a open forest with dead trees laid dead bodies. A girl with a skin tight black outfit on with a open black cloak sat on one of the dead bodies eating an apple. A thud was heard signaling the last person to drop dead. A men with a tight black long-sleeved shirt, black anbu pants with belt buckle around the waist that carried his kunais and shuriken. He had long black shinobi sandals down to the ankle was white while the feet part was black. The girl with long black hair with pitch black cold dark eyes looked up at her comrade who stood infrot of her.

She looked at him, he was wearing that stupid white mask that covered his face again, "gosh I hate when he covers his face" she thought to herself. I'm done he said in a deep cold voice. She stood up and patted the invisible dirt from her cloak. "So what did they have?" The men digged in his pocket and pulled out scrolls and wallets.

"All they had was jutsu scrolls and money." I can really careless about the jutsu scrolls, let me see the cash." The men tossed her the cash and stash the scrolls back In his pockets it would come in handy.

"Seems like we feasting tonight." When she said that the men stomach growled. He blush from embarrassment but his partner couldn't see that due to the mask blocking his face. The girl sighed and handed out the half aten apple. "Here thank me later." The men removed his mask and hooked it on his belt. He had blonde hair wrapped into a bun. The side of his hair was cut showing he had a fade. He had dark blue eyes that showed no emotion in them. He was really a beautiful men he really wore his mask to cover that fact. He didn't want women all over him it got so bad people started thinking he was a girl because he looked so good.

He bit in the apple not caring that his partner was already eating the apple. They shared food all the time. So where to next...Hikari? The now name Hikari glared at her partner, I told you not to call me by my real name when we out on duty...Naruto! The now revealed Naruto shrugged, we only nobody here so what's the problem? Ugh boy's..."let's just go she said" walking off. Naruto looked at his partner and followed behind her. He remembered how he met her and the two became partners.

Flashback.

Naruto panted, he been on the run for hours leaving konoha after his banishment. His orange jumpsuit was ragged and rip due to him carelessly running into branches that would cut into his clothes. We was so angry how could they treat him like that after all his did for them. He help them so much time and they re paid him with hurt, disrespect and now a banishment.

Without him konoha wouldn't be konoha it would be dust. If he wasn't alive to hold the fox it would've destroyed konoha so konoha can thank him for that one. Second he help get so much country's to have a alliance with konoha wave country and spring country just to name two. When suna and Orochimaru invaded he help take down gaara. Who was in his Bijuu transformation, if he wasn't there Sasuke and Sakura would've died and more damage and lives would've been taken from konoha. And now his most recent was bringing Sasuke back. It didn't matter how hurt he was at least he wasn't missing limbs, at least he will still be a ninja.

They was kissing his feet, no worse than that they was sucking him off. He clinched his fist his hands turning white, he was going destroy konoha. He heard chuckling behind him and he spun around with a glare on his fist. He saw two men big and buff one held a katana and the other held a sledgehammer. "You look lost kid" said the one with the sledgehammer. He chuckle "and you look all alone." "Look brat we going need everything you got on you."

Naruto glare intensify and his eyes glowed red two tomoes spinning. He grabbed a kunai and threw it at one of the thugs a lighting speed and deadly accurately. The kunai stabbed into the men throat and his sledgehammer drop to the ground and he begun to choke on his blood death waiting for him. Naruto didn't seem to care about him taking someone life and saw red when the other guy charged at him with his katana.

Naruto rush towards the guy and leaped in the air grabbing the men head and slamming his knee in his face breaking his nose. Saliva flew out the men mouth and he stumble back dropping his katana. Naruto picked up the men katana and charged at him stabbing him in the chest. The men feel back Naruto onto of him. Before his eyes closed for the last time he saw those red eyes filled with hate, anger and betrayal. Naruto remove the katana from the men chest and stood up.

He didn't care that he just took two people life in his eyes they was scum no animals, animals in human skin. He looked around noticing he was near a bandit camp and figure that's where these two must've came from. Seeing them as nothing as animals he rush to the banding camp. When he reach it he stood on a tree looking down at the animal who was stripping a girl naked.

Naruto eyes narrow, "You all are like lambs to the slaughter...and I'm the butcher." He held the katana reverse grip and leaped down on the men stabbing him straight in the head. The women would've screamed out seeing a someone die infront of her but a gag stop her from screaming. So all she did was cry and whimpered and shook. Naruto walked to the girl and saw the fear in the girl eye's. He removed the gag and cut her free. "Go and run for your life." She didn't think twice before running off but stop and took the money off the men. She kicked him and the ribs as expected he was dead, she spat on his face and ran off to her home.

Naruto dashed off to the rest cutting and killing them. Blood was splattering everywhere, he wasn't effected by this because he saw nothing but animals. He heard a battle charge and looked up and jumped back. Where he stood he saw a dust of smoke and a small crater. When it cleared three men stood there. They was Cleary pissed. "So you was the brat killing my people" spoke the men in the middle who was clearly the leader. "Men?" "Hmph no those was animals just cutting down before those animals spread they're germs, and you three next." The leader growled, he was about to speak but was cut off when he heard a new voice.

"So this where you three ran off to." Everyone looked into the tree where they heard the voice. It was a girl with black hair the same age as Naruto. "This bitch again, instead of having sex with you I'm going kill you, said one of the men." "As I said animals" roared Naruto who rushed at the group. He went for a slash at the men neck but it was block by another guy sword and flung him back. The guy was on him not giving him time to prepare himself. Naruto was pushed on the defense clearly losing the dual with the guy because he wasn't experienced with a sword.

The girl in the tree wasn't going let this side so she jumped down blocking a strike from the men with a kunai. Naruto thanked the girl and the two tag team the men getting a few cuts on him. A air wave sent the two flying and they landed on a three. Well for Naruto he was hanging on a branch with one hand.

Naruto looked to where the wind wave came from and saw the leader grinning. "Two brats trying to fight men's hahaha some world we live in." They was obviously shinobis so it put Naruto on edge. The short guy who haven't done nothing yet finally did something. He cast hand seals and shot a water ball at the two. Naruto found himself being able to copy the ninja chakra and hand seals and swung himself on the tree. He stood infront of the girl and shot a water ball at the group, his jutsu being bigger because he had more chakra.

His water ball jutsu dwarf the ninja's and size and power. It consumed the ninja water Making his bigger. It went flying at the three but the leader cast hand seals shooting a fire ball to counter. When the two jutsu collided it got foggy. Naruto created hundreds of shadows clones unknown to the three ninjas.

The girl vanished from sight and appeared in front of one the ninja's kneeling. She kicked him in the chin blood flying out his mouth. She leaped up kicking him higher and higher in the air. She appeared in front of him. She spun and kicked him in the ribs cracking them in the process. He was sent crashing to the ground. He held his side and looked up to see a huge fire ball coming down on him. His eyes widened and the fire ball consumed him. The fog dispersed and the two ninjas saw what happened. The two rushed to they teammate who was getting burned.

A Naruto shadow clone appeared in front of them punching the leader in the face. The leader stumble back, while the clone duck a punch from the other ninja and leg sweep him. The real Naruto step on his clone back and jumped up in the air doing multiple back flips. Four clones appeared below the leader and kicked him in the air.

He looked up to see Naruto blade coming crashing down on him. "I guess you can call this na...ru...to Uzumaki barrage 2 point o. He slashed the leader face literally cutting his skin off his blade digging in his skin.

The one who was being burnt alive panted when the jutsu died down. But he saw his death coming when the girl drop down with a kunai stabbing through his chest into his heart.

The last one was being pinned down by four Naruto clones. The real one walked up to him and another clone started to form blue chakra into his palm. Naruto said nothing as he slammed the rasengan in his chest killing him. His clones poof out existence as he panted. The sharingan leaving his eyes turning back to blue. He was low on chakra from traveling for so long without stopping and fighting these guys. He looked at the girl who stood in front of him. He panted and asked her "what is your name?"

"Rukia...Rukia senpu is my name."

"Rukia hug me." He feel back falling unconscious and the girl did what he told her to do hugging him towards her so he didn't hit the ground. "You're a special one i feel it."

End of flashback

He remembered the day of meeting her and the day he took his first kill. It was also the day she became his partner and traveler both getting names in the bingo book. She was called the black cat, for being so tricky and seemed to never die like a cat. She was a S-ranked criminal approach with a team or flee if you're alone. He was put in the bingo book, his name being "the devil born on earth" Yuri. Where they got Yuri from he didn't know, probably because nobody knew his name and he wore a mask. He was a S-rank criminal same as Rukia, approach with a partner or flee if alone.

"So where are we heading off to next Hikari?" "Didn't I tell you not to call me that gosh." "We heading to a nearby village to grab something to eat and book a room in a inn." "Sounds like a plan." He tossed the finish apple on the ground and put his mask back on.

The team set off to retrieve Sasuke jumped through the trees. They was approaching Orochimaru hideout in 5 minutes. "Kakashi I see the hideout" said asuma. Kakashi nodded he seen the hideout as well. All stop and look down at the hideout that was given to them. Kakashi look towards his team putting a finger over his mouth telling them to stay quiet. The group nodded and silently drop down on the base entering the door. When they enter the base it was dark and cold the only light was candles.

Sakura been to one of these hideouts before and it looked the same. It also had the three hallways. "I remember something similar like this" said Sakura gaining everyone attention. "When me Naruto and Jiraiya sama invaded Orochimaru hideout it was similar to this." "The three hallways got traps in them so they probably already know we here."

"We all have to split up and find which hallway leads to Sasuke." Kakashi sighed, "thought I was supposed to be the leader." "Me Yamato and Sakura will go through the middle." "Sai you got the left asuma team get the right."

All nodded and ran to the direction they was ordered to.

With asuma team.

Asuma lead his team down the hallway to find Sasuke. They turned a corner but didn't have time until the floor opened and they all fell inside. Luckily they was experienced and use chakra to stick to the walls. "Holy fuck we could've died" yelled ino who looked down to see sharp spikes. Everyone saw the spikes and gulped. Shikamaru sighed, "we got lucky man this a drag, let's get going." The four was getting ready to leap out the hole until the floor closed on them. The spikes drop and the bottom pit started to fill with water.

"Holy crap I didn't expect to be going out by drowning" said Shikamaru. "Calm down everyone, Shikamaru you know what to do." Shikamaru nodded and started to think.

With Kakashi.

Kakashi Yamato and Sakura ran through the halls. They opened doors and turned corners to try to find Sasuke but was left with nothing. Sakura opened a door, she clinched her fist. It was another empty room. Yamato put a hand on her shoulder, "let's keep moving sakura." Sakura nodded and followed her team. The team kept moving until they heard a explosion. They all stop and looked at each other.

"Someone must've found Sasuke let's go" said Kakashi who turned back around with Sakura and Yamato following behind.

Asuma and his team had gotten out the trap. They coughed up water that went into their mouth. The group also heard a explosion and knew someone must've came in contact with Sasuke.

Sakura skitted her feet digging in the ground as she did. She and the others had seen half the base destroyed and ran outside. They saw Sai standing there looking up at something. When Sakura looked up her heart skipped a beat. There he was her crush the boy she loved since a kid. She gasp when she saw how older he looked.

Sasuke stare down at the group. "Seem as you konoha shinobis still after me." "Sasuke we are here to bring you back" said Kakashi.

Sasuke eyes turned to Kakashi, "we all know that's not going to happen...Kakashi." I can only describe you people with one word "'annoying.'"

"Sasuke please come back, we miss you" argue Sakura who could feel tears coming into her eyes. Sasuke looked at the girl with disgust, "You still have that stupid crush, you people haven't change a bit." "Why do you care what I do with my life it's mines not yours, I chose my path you chose yours." Unlike Sakura ino felt her feelings drop for Sasuke. He was right it was his life he obviously don't care for them.

Sasuke stabbed his sword in the ground and cast hand seals. Everyone tensed while Sasuke lifted his hand into the air. But it was caught by the arriving Orochimaru and kabuto. "Sasuke remember what I told you about that jutsu." Sasuke scoff and pulled his arm back. He gave them one last look before leaving in a fire shunshin.

Kakashi sighed and drop his head. They had him right there but nobody did nothing fuck mission was a failure. Sakura felt her heart drop but refuse to break down crying infront of everyone.

Naruto and Hikari was approaching a nearby village until the saw the ground shaking a bit but not enough to be a earthquake. The two stop and looked at the ground where a aloe head plant like creature came from the ground. Hikari narrowed her eyes at the creature. "Who the hell are you?" Naruto glared at the creature seeing the Akatsuki cloak. A spinning vortex formed and and landed next to the plant like creature.

The men spoke in a dark voice "I've been looking for you two for some time." "You know it was really hard tracking you two down."

"If you don't want anything get lost" said Hikari. We have a offer to you two, a offer to join my organization Akatsuki. Like hell he was they was hunting down people like him thought Naruto. Akatsuki? "I heard of a group like that answered Hikari." Zetsu spoke, "Yes a group of S rank missing ninja, you two peaked our interest and we wanted to invite you." Naruto finally spoke up, "and if we don't?" Obito looked at him through his mask, he wonder who was this men. He could be very useful is why he wanted him to join. "Well if you don't we will just leave it at that."

"What do we benefit from this?" Asked Hikari. "Well you get protection, eat, a place to sleep instead of being on the run, as long as you carry out your missions." Hikari looked at Naruto, "well?"

"The benefits are good but we will be part timers, only call us when it's something important or something that our skills can be useful in."

"Alright you got yourself a deal, welcome to Akatsuki" he said tossing them two a cloak. They caught it and looked at it. Hikari unbutton her cloak and it drop to the ground. She put on the Akatsuki cloak and button it up.

Naruto also did the same putting on the cloak and button it up. "So I'm guessing you're the leader" asked Naruto. "Yes but I'm the leader in the shadows the others don't know." When I'm in Akatsuki you call me tobi, so when we around others" he said in a child voice.

"Now follow along to meet the other's."
