Prologue
Long ago, Zaydia was one land. Rich in magic and wonder.
In the old times, there were only six primal sources of magic: the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, the Earth, the Sky, and the Ocean. Among the primal sources, there is a Guardian. A young elf whose blood holds each of the primal sources and holds the purest heart among them all. The beings of all living, consider her the Goddess of the Elves, the light of all primal sources and Zaydia.
However, a thousand years ago, a human mage discovered a new source of magic. The seventh source is known as Dark Magic.
The magic infused the essence that lives within the magical creatures of Zaydia themselves. So the mage could unleash the darkest parts of its power. As the dark magic was established, the dark magic started to affect the Elf Goddess. Making her feel sick, weak, and in pain. As if a piece of her life force has been taken away.
Horrified of losing the only light that Zaydia has. Six elves from each primal source have stepped into the Elf Goddess domain. Willing and wish to help their goddess from suffering. Weak and in pain, the Elf Goddess granted their wish to help and stop dark magic to grow. With her primal blessing, she gave the six elves each of their powers that would be equal to hers. Together, the six elves become her guardians. The Guardians of the Primal Sources.
The Primal Guardians lead the elves and the dragons to stop the madness from spreading. In hopes to heal the Elf Goddess. They all have driven every human to the west. Slowly, the Elf Goddess began to heal as pure magic returned.
As it is so, the continent was divided in two. In the lands of the East, the Magical Lands of Zaydia. In the lands of the West, the human kingdoms.
In the center, is the border that keeps the land divided. Is where the Elf Goddess lives. To make sure both lands would have equal sources of life to live. It is a very lonely time to live on the border. But luckily, she does not have to live alone for very long. Since her guardians and her close and dearest friend come to live and support her.
For centuries, the Elf Goddess's closest friend: The King of the Dragons accompanied her and the Guardians at the border. Together, they defend the border from any trespassers that would have dared to come across. As the trespassers rage into the attack, the Primal Guardians and the King of the Dragons begin to defend.
The humans called the Dragon King, "Thunder". For what he spoke, his voice shook the Earth and the Sky. Along with the Primal Guardians by his side to defend his voice and the Elf Goddess's heart.
But on one Winter's Eve, the humans used the unspeakable by using Dark Magic to slay Thunder. The devastation was set for the Guardians that failed to protect him, but they were too slain by the similar Dark Magic that killed the Dragon King. And without any mercy, the humans also destroyed the Dragon King's only egg. This heir, the Dragon Prince.
The devastation has broken the Elf Goddess's heart. Slowly dying, her Primal powers began to lose control as her heart slowly broke. With one last, final act, she used her power to hide six precious treasures that belong to her guardians. Including her only heir, the Elf Godling. Sending them to different locations away from the border to keep them safe from harm. So, no one would know of their existence. Hopefully, would return and bring peace to all of Zaydia. By that sacrifice, the Elf Goddess passes away and the light of Zaydia slowly grows dim.
Now without an heir on both sides of Zaydia, the world is standing on the edge of an all-out war.
