Shinjiro's mission was to kill a demon who managed to discover a wisteria house.
How did this demon do? No one knew, but one thing is sure was that the demon was probably upper class for having achieved this feat.
He arrived at the wisteria house but unfortunately he had arrived too late as he could see.
The couple lay dead near the entrance. As Shinjiro continued expecting he heard someone moan in pain. He immediately went to the voice and discovered a 14-year-old girl barely bleeding out.
Shinjiro: Miss, don't worry, I'll get a doctor!
The girl nodded negatively: It's too late for me but not for my little brother.
Shinjiro: Your little brother?
The girl: Yes, I hid it in a closet before the bloody carnage. Please take care of him even if he is blind.
Shinjiro nodded: Don't worry, I'll take care of him despite his disability.
The girl smiled one last time and left relieved that her little brother was safe now.
Shinjiro finally found after 10 long minutes of searching Giyuu in a closet crying.
The little boy had already understood for a long time that his family was dead. Shinjiro reassured him that he would adopt according to his older sister's wish.
At the end Shinjiro left with an orphaned 5-year-old boy in his arms towards his home.
