Chapter 10 Meeting Ed and Edna
Jay's POV
The Next Day
We parked the Destiny's Bounty in the junkyard.
When we got there, I saw my parents.
"Jay", my mom started before rushing up to me and giving me a hug. "Oh thank goodness you're okay!"
"We heard about that storm that's surrounding Ninjago City", my dad revealed. "We were worried that you got trapped inside."
"Don't worry, Ma and Pa", I started. "I'm okay. Anyway, I'm here because there's someone who wants to meet you."
With that, Libber walked up to us.
"Ma, Pa", I started. "This is Libber. She's my birth mother."
When I said this, my parents looked at me in shock.
"Birth mother", my dad said in shock.
"Goodness gracious", my mom said in shock.
"It's very nice to meet you both", Libber greeted.
"Oh", my mom started. "It's very nice to meet you too, Libber. Why don't we all go inside so we can talk?"
…
We were now all inside the trailer, and Libber had just finished explaining what had happened to my parents.
"My goodness", my dad started. "That sounds terrible!"
"To have to give up your son like that", my mom said. "As a mother, I can't even imagine having to do such a thing! Oh, you poor woman!"
With that, my mom grabbed onto Libber's hand.
"I am so sorry that you had to go through that", she said.
"It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do", my mom revealed. "But the most important thing was to keep Jay safe."
After Libber said this, she put her other hand on top of my mom's.
"Thankfully, I was able to find wonderful parents for my son", she stated. "Thank you both so much for taking care of Jay for me."
"Thank you, Libber", my dad started. "For giving us such a wonderful son."
With that, Libber smiled at my parents, and they smiled back.
"Well", my father started. "Now that we've had this talk, I doubt that you guys would've come all the way here just to talk when there's that storm surrounding Ninjago City."
"You're right, Ed", Nya said. "We're actually here because there's a material nearby that we need to make stuff to get into Ninjago city."
"Well then", Ed started. "You guys better get going!"

We were now inside an abandoned mine, which was where the material we needed was.
We walked into a cave…and found ore.
"Is that it", I asked.
"Yep", Libber replied. "Though when Dvalin and I were here, there was…"
Before Libber could finish…we suddenly heard a large growl behind us!
We turned around…and saw a…
"…giant monster", Libber exclaimed. "Duck!
With that we moved out of the way just as the monster was about to hit us!
"Stand back, Libber", I commanded. "Nya and I will take care of this!"
With that, Nya and I tried to fight the monster, but we just kept getting flung into rocks!
"See that rock spike on the ceiling", Libber yelled.
Nya and I looked up, and saw said spike.
"Get the monster under it", Libber commanded. "Then Jay, zap it with your lighting!"
"Got it", I said.
Then, Nya led the monster under the spike, and I zapped it with my lighting.
The spike fell onto the monster, knocking it out.
"Take that, monster", I exclaimed.
"Are you two okay", Libber asked as she rushed up to us.
"We're okay", Nya replied. "That was a good plan, Libber."
"I still got it", Libber stated as she flipped her hair. "Now, let's mine the ore and get out of here."
