Chapter 12 Into Ninjago City

Jay's POV

We were on the Destiny's Bounty, which was flying over the storm.

"Theses new outfits are sick", Cole stated.

"Libber", I started. "Are you sure you wanna come with us?"

"Yes", Libber replied. "Dvalin is using the electrical energy he stole from me to make this storm. I wanna be there when you destroy his machine."

"Just be careful, okay", I asked.

"Alright everybody", Pixal started, interrupting our conversation. "We have arrived at the drop off spot."

With that, I looked at the storm…and gulped nervously.

"This is as far as I can go", Pixal revealed. "Good luck everybody."

"Thanks Pixal", Lloyd said. "Alright everybody! Let's go!"

With that, Lloyd…put on a helmet that would protect his face.

Then…he jumped off the ship and into the storm!

"Oh boy", Cole said nervously.

Then, he took a deep breath, put on his helmet…and also jumped into the storm.

"Oh man", I said before putting on my helmet and looking at the storm nervously.

Then…I felt someone grab my hand.

I looked up…and saw Nya.

Then…I felt someone grab my other hand.

I turned around…and saw Libber.

"We'll do this together, son", she said.

With that, I nodded.

"Thanks Libber", I said before turning my head. "Thanks Nya."

"On three", Nya started. "One, two, three!"

With that…we all jumped into the storm!

We fell through it, before coming out on the other side, and seeing Ninjago City.

"Activate your jet packs now", Lloyd commanded.

We did as told…and activated our jet packs.

"Woo hoo", Cole yelled in excitement! "These are awesome!"

"We should thank Cyrus Borg for helping us design these", Nya said.

I then turned to look at Libber, who was struggling to control her jet pack !

"Libber", I said before quickly grabbing onto her hand and balancing her.

"Phew", she sighed in relief. "Thanks son. I'm not used to all this fancy tech you kids use nowadays."

"Guys" we heard a familiar voice yell.

Then we looked down…and saw Kai and Zane!

"Kai", Nya yelled in relief.

Then we all flew to the ground.

Once we landed, Nya ran up to Kai and gave him a hug.

"Thank goodness you're okay", she said.

"We're fine", Kai stated as he broke the hug. "Besides the storm, everything inside the city is still pretty normal."

After Kai said this, him and Zane noticed Libber.

"You must be Jay's birth mother", Zane said. "My name is Zane, and this is Kai. It is very nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too", Libber greeted.

"Alright guys", Lloyd started. "Now that we're in the city, the next step is to destroy the machine."

"Guess I'm up", I said nervously.

"You can do it, Jay", Nya reassured. "I believe in you."

"So do I", Libber said.

"Thanks guys", I said.

Then…I activated my jet pack.

"I'm off", I said.

"Good luck, Jay", Nya said. "Please be careful."
