Percy's POV

"Chapter 3..." Hestia read.

On the way to Camp Jupiter, I got attacked by almost every monster in Greek and Roman mythology. Nothing I couldn't handle. Sometimes it sucks to have a powerful demi-god aura. But that's Poseidon's fault, not mine.

"Hey! I take offense to that!" Poseidon exclaimed.

"Sorry dad." Percy said.

Poseidon shrugged his shoulders. He honestly didn't mind.

"Oh! I forgot to bring some people." Black snapped his fingers and 3 flashes of light appeared. When the light died down, there stood Helios and Selene. Black explained everything to them and they nodded and sat down. Hestia contined reading.

As I was thinking about all of this, I heard the rustling of a bush. Thinking I was under attack, I uncapped Riptide (Anaklusmos). I turned towards where I heard the sound, expecting the worst. What I saw shocked me. The Nemean Lion was reformed. Only it was a newborn cub. I walked up to the cub, only for it to run and hide.

The gods raised an eyebrow at this wondering why the Nemean Lion was scared of Percy.

'Great it remembers me killing it. I have to get it to trust me.' I thought. i then went up to the cub. I put my hand out to the lion. It came out of hiding and sniffed my hand my hand as if deciding whether to trust me or not. It, or rather she, because it looked like a female, licked my hand, so I knew she trusted me. She walked up to me and nuzzled between my legs. I reached down and pet her.

Everyone gasped. Shocked that Percy tamed the Nemean Lion. Artemis was impressed Percy dud such a thing.

" What should I name you, I can't just call you Nemean Lion. Hm... How about... Selene after the Titan Goddess of the Moon?" I asked her. She then licked me as if saying she liked the name. So, Selene it is.

Selene smiled. Happy she got some recognition. Helios rolled his eyes, clearly not impressed.

I walked up to the newly named Selene and said, "Let's go Selene. We're going to Camp Jupiter." I might be seeing things but it looked like she nodded.

After some delay, Selene and I continued on the way to Camp Jupiter. Man what a day today was.

"I'm done. Who's next?" Hestia asked while putting the book down.

"I'll read next." Athena said. She held out her hand and the book flew into it.

"Chapter 4..." Athena started.

Another chapter done. Next chapter will be Camp Jupiter. As always I don't own Percy Jackson. Rick Riordan does.
